Abstract. The purposes of this research are to describe the juvenile delinquency,its causes and its relationship with the education in Indonesia. This research also describes and provides solution to face a juvenile delinquency through character education. This research is a descriptive-qualitative research. Listening method is used as the data collecting technique, using technique of tap and write. The sources of the data are obtained by interviews, literature study, and the articles of newspapers. The results of this research are juvenile delinquency caused by juvenile inability to filter information. It caused by the education system in Indonesia thatmore focus on cognitive aspects than morality aspects also caused by the lack of parental affection. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kenakalan remaja, penyebabnya dan merelevansikannya dengan potret pendidikan di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas dan menawarkan pendidikan karakter sebagai sebuah solusi dari kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data-data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan catat. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, studi pustaka dan membaca realita yang sudah tercatat dalam surat kabar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwasanya kenakalan remaja disebabkan oleh lemahnya kemampuan mereka untuk menyaring informasi yang beredar, system pendidikan di Indonesia yang terlalu mengedepankan aspek kognitif dan kurangnya perhatian orang tuaKata Kunci: Kata kunci: Kenakalan remaja, potret pendidikan dan pendidikan karakter.

This paper portrays the implementation of character education based on Javanese unggah-ungguh (etiquette) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar, using 24 students from 5th-grade who were mentioned as the alpha generation in 2020. Generally, this generation refers to children born after 2010 in this digital era. The unggah-ungguh is one of the Indonesian ancestral heritages that must be preserved, as though it may originate from Java, it strongly represents the culture of the country’s society. Six (6) characters of Javanese unggah-ungguh were used in this research as indicators, which are tata krama (manners), lembah manah (relent), andhap asor (humility), tepa slira (tolerance), grapyak (friendliness), and ewuh-pekewuh (reluctance). This study was descriptive qualitative research that focused on observing the realization of character education based on this culture, using observation, interview, survey, and documentation as the data collection instruments. As reviewed from the affective theory of Krathwohl Taxonomy, the education character based on Javanese unggah-ungguh has influenced three-component domains of affective attitudes, which are in the level of receiving or attending, responding, and valuing. Lastly, the result showed that implementing character education based on this culture has truly shaped a better personality for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar as the alpha generation.

Character education is a form of cultivation of noble character in students. The aspect of 'social care' character is one of the most important of the eighteen character education in Indonesia, this is because the sense of sensitivity and help towards others in the environment around students begins to diminish. There are various kinds of media to succeed in internalizing character education, one of which is a novel. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy can be said to be a complete novel in instilling character in Indonesia. Therefore, researchers will explore how the value of social care character education in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive qualitative research. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi as a source of data in this study, in the form of dialogue and narrative stories about character education about social care. Based on the results of the analysis, seventeen data were found that were divided into four important parts, namely: giving help to others, caring for others, mutual respect, and sympathy.

  The concepts of local wisdom inherited through folklores and children literature are the strategies to transform the values considered important to learn by children through textbooks. Therefore, children literature should be meaningful and highly relevant to the empowerment of the children’s life according to the stage of their development. This study questions how to write children’s literature with the theme of local wisdom based on character education. Based on the problem, the study aims to produce children literature with the theme of local wisdom, which is based on character education and according to the children’s development. There are three stages of children literature: emotional, intellectual, and personal development. The study belongs to descriptive qualitative research, employing Brady’s theory on children development and Rampan’s on the technique of writing children literature. Library research and creative process are used in the method. The study generates three models of folklore with the theme of local wisdom according to the children development: Putri Emas dan Burung Ajaib, Putri Cantik dari Pulau Bintan, and Sang Pembangkang. Besides, it also produces three literary works based on character education: “Lalang dan Kupu-Kupu yang Menawan,” “Gara-gara Ketinggalan Bekal,” and “Surti, Mawar, and Kupu-kupu.”

AbstrakMasjid Asasi Sigando menerapkan ornamen sebagai salah satu bagian dari bangunannya. Fungsi secara umum dari penempatan ornamen pada masjid Asasi sebagai penghias, hal ini juga berlaku pada bangunan yang khas Minangkabau lainnya. Penempatan ornamen pada masjid ini, hampir terdapat pada seluruh dinding luar. Ornamen yang diterapkan pada bagian dinding masjid seperti singok, pereang, papan banyak, papan sakapieng, dan salangko. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang berifat deskriptif. Ornamen Masjid Asasi memiliki keindahan dari segi motif yang belum dikaji secara keilmuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara obervasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil tentang ornamen Masjid Asasi bahwa ide penciptaan motif ornamen berlandaskan pada bentuk alam seperti, tumbuhan, hewan, alam benda dan manusia. Selain itu penempatan masing-masing motif juga disusun pada bagian masjid yang memiliki nama tertentu.Kata Kunci: masjid asasi, ornamen, motif.AbstractAsasi Sigando Mosque uses ornaments as one part of the building. The general function of the placement of ornaments on the Asasi mosque as decoration, this also applies to other typical Minangkabau buildings. Placement of ornaments on this mosque, almost found on the entire outer wall. Ornaments applied to the walls of the mosque such as singok, pereang, papan banyak, papan sakapieng, and salangko. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Asasi Mosque ornaments have beauty in terms of motifs that have not been studied scientifically. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The result of Asasi Mosque ornaments is that the idea of creating ornamental motifs is based on natural forms such as plants, animals, natural objects and humans. In addition, the placement of each motif is also arranged on the part of the mosque that has a certain name. Keywords: asasi mosque, ornaments, motifs.

Abstract. Many cases of juvenile delinquency that occurred in the community allegedly be-cause there are lack of exemplary and intensive supervision in our educational and community components. According to this reality, it is urgent to know the strategy of strengthening character education in schools to prevent juvenile delinquency. The purpose of this paper is to examine strat-egies in preventing juvenile delinquency through strengthening character education. This paper uses the theory of habituation from the Skinner, such as spontaneous activities, exemplary meth-ods are also a series of behaviorism theory from John Watson, and conditioning activities that are similar to behaviorism theory from Edwin Guthrie . This study includes the type of literature study research by finding reference theory that relevant to the cases or problems found. The data that have been obtained then analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The conclusions from this litera-ture study includes 1) education in Indonesia still focused on cognitive aspect or academic, while the aspect of soft skills or non academic which is the main element of character education so far still get less attention. 2) implementation of strategies to strengthen character education in schools in preventing juvenile delinquency, can be integrated into existing subjects, local content, self-development. 3) the headmaster as the leader of the school organization is fully responsible for the character building of students, so as a model school requires special efforts to integrate the values of character into the learning process and routine activities in schools. Based on the above conclu-sions, some suggestions were formulated: 1) learning in schools should focus on soft skills or non academic (affective and psychomotor) which are the main elements of character education through teaching and learning activities or extracurricular activities; 2)The national education ministries should formulate learning models that use the character component as the largest com-ponent; 3) the national education ministry should cooperate with TNI and POLRI by conducting education to defend the country that there are character and nationalism elements. Abstrak. Maraknya kasus kenakalan remaja yang terjadi di masyarakat diduga ku-rangnya keteladanan dan pengawasan intensif dari komponen pendidikan dan masyarakat. Ber-dasarkan hal tersebut, mendesak untuk diketahui strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji strategi dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja melalui penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penulisan ini menggunakan teori pembiasaan dari Skinner, berupa kegiatan-kegiatan spontan, metode keteladanan yang juga sejalan dengan teori behaviorisme dari John Watson, dan kegiatan pengkondisian yang sejalan dengan teori behaviorisme dari Edwin Guthrie. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relefan dengan kasus atau per-masalahan yang ditemukan. Data-data yang sudah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Kesimpulan dari studi literatur ini antara lain: 1) Pendidikan di Indonesia masih terfokus pada aspek-aspek kognitif atau akademik, sedangkan aspek soft skills atau non-akademik yang merupakan unsur utama pendidikan karakter selama ini masih kurang mendapatkan per-hatian; 2) Implementasi strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dalam upaya pencega-han kenakalan remaja dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam mata pelajaran yang sudah ada, muatan lokal, pengembangan diri, dan budaya sekolah, dan 3) Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin organisasi sekolah bertanggungjawab penuh terhadap pembinaan karakter peserta didik, sehingga sebagai teladan sekolah diperlukan upaya khusus untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas rutin di sekolah.. Berdasarkan kesimpulan di atas, dirumuskanbeberapa saran: 1) Pembelajaran di sekolah sebaiknya diutamakan menekankan pada soft skills atau non-akademik (afektif dan psikomotorik) yang merupakan unsur utama pendidikan karakter melalui KBM dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; 2) Kemendikbud sebaiknya merumuskan model penilaian yang menggunakan komponen karakter sebagai komponen terbesar; 3) Kemendikbud bekerjasama dengan TNI dan POLRI sebaiknya mengadakan pendidikan bela Negara yang dida-lamnya memuat unsur budi pekerti dan nasionalisme.

Literary works in Indonesia, including novels, both in terms of ideas and content, are heavily influenced by works from abroad. This influence is caused by many things, for example Indonesian writers who idolize foreign writers, similarities in social situations and conditions, or even unplanned similarities because Indonesian writers unconsciously intensively read one of the works of foreign writers. This research attempts to compare the novel Ipung by Prie GS with the novel the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Comparisons are only limited to pouring out the ideas, genres, and motives contained in the two novels. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes a number of ideas, genres, and motives concerning the basic issues of creation, and the message can be expressed accuratel. Based on the research results, it was stated that the novel Sang Alkemis by Paulo Coelho influenced Prie GS novel Ipung, both in terms of ideas, genres, and motives.

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all aspects of life. One of the things that has been affected is the achievement of the SDGs which has been hampered by this pandemic. The condition that has been deteriorated due to the pandemic should not be used as an excuse to achieve the SDGs, in this case the role of youth is very important to achieve SDGs, especially in the post-pandemic period. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The data used are primary and secondary data that have been collected, processed, made conclusions, and then interpreted. This study aims to design a character education system for the younger generation in their role in achieving the SDGs. The results of the interpretation of data that have been collected and then processed in the research process, make a proposal for "FAST Generation". These concepts are some of the main characteristics that youth must have in their role in achieving the SDGs in the post-COVID-19 pandemic. FAST Generation is a character that must be possessed by youth in achieving the SDGs. Youth with character will make the world safer, more prosperous, and more focused, so that the achievement of the goals contained in the SDGs will be easier.

Problem-solving is the important part of mathematics curriculum. Most of students still have difficulties and error in prombelm solving. This research aims to know problem-solving ability of students on counting operations of algebra form. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subject is students grade VII-F SMP N 1 Wonosari. The data collecting technique is a problem-solving test. The data analysis according to Miles and Huberman, which is data reduction, data presentation, and making the conclusion. The results of this research showing that: (1) 95.56% of students can understand the problem, 4.44% of students cannot understand the problem; (2) 18.33% of students can devising a plan, 81.67% cannot devising a plan; (3) 28.61% of students can carrying out the plan, 71.39% cannot carrying out the plan; (4) 45% can looking back the answer, 55% cannot looking back the answer.

The purpose of this study was to clearly determine the background and melody structure of the song Da Ma'oheKhöuZumange. The song Da Ma'oheKhöuZumange is a traditional Nias nuanced song with the theme of the song offered in the Newest BNKP Zinunö Book. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The work process carried out is literature study, observation, and interviews. The research was carried out by collecting information through field research to obtain results that were processed into definite data.               The meaning of the lyrics of the song Da Ma'oheKhöuZumange is an affirmation that what is offered to God actually comes from God.In this song it is also stated that the offering does not only talk about money and materials, but also life in totality.               This song has a 4/4 measure with a tempo of 74 MM with the basic tone D = Do, consisting of 16 bars and two phrases. The rim is a, a, a, b. With the chord progressions moving from I, IV, IIIm, VIm, V, I.In the Da Ma'oheKhöuZumange song there are authentic cadens because the chords move from the dominant chord (V) to the tonica chord (I).The ambitus of this song is Fis-B. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan karakter menurut Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Driyarkara dan relevansinya bagi pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk studi pustaka. Objek material penelitian yaitu pemikiran pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Driyarkara ditinjau dari perspektif aliran progresivisme. Metodenya dengan komparasi dua atau lebih filsuf atau aliran. Penelitian ini membandingkan dua pandangan tokoh, yaitu Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Driyarkara tentang pendidikan Karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara menekankan tiga instrumen dasar yaitu keluarga, perguruan, dan pergerakan pemuda; (2) Driyarkara menekankan satu kesatuan tunggal yaitu ayah-ibu-anak dalam pendidikan karakter dasar; dan (3) pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Driyarkara apabila dikombinasikan akan relevan dengan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, DriyarkaraCHARACTER EDUCATION ACCORDING TO KI HADJAR DEWANTARA AND DRIYARKARA Abstract: This study aims to analyze character education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara and Driyarkara and its relevance for character education in Indonesia. The material objects of the study were the educational thoughts of the characters of Ki Hadjar Dewantara and Driyarkara, reviewed by the progressivism stream perspective. The method with a comparison of two or more philosophers or schools. This study compares two views of figures namely Ki Hadjar Dewantara and Driyarkara about Character education. The research shows the following results: (1) Ki Hadjar Dewantara's character education emphasizes three basic instruments namely family, college and youth movement; (2) Driyarkara emphasizes a single entity namely father-mother-child in basic character education; and (3) Education of Ki Hadjar characters Dewantara and Driyarkara when combined will be relevant to character education in Indonesia.Keywords: character education, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, Driyarkara
