The Nyama documentary is as a counter-discourse on intolerant attitudes in Indonesia. Nyama film was the result of research and creation of written and audio-visual data documentation of the acculturation of art and culture in the Muslim village of Pegayaman Buleleng, Bali. It was an observational/direct cinema-style documentary film acculturation of Hindu and Islamic arts and culture in Pegayaman Village, Buleleng, Bali. The Nyama film identified the perceptions and acculturation of art and culture in Pegayaman Village, Buleleng, Bali. It was a qualitative descriptive research method. Sources of data obtained through a purposive sampling method were done by accidental sampling technique. The location of the sampling was carried out in Pegayaman Village, Buleleng, Bali. The method used in achieving these goals was Representing reality. The documentary tells an event or reality (facts and data). Principally, documentary films are based on facts and are demanded to be loyal to those facts. Discussion of research and creation of this movie is the observational/direct cinema documentaries. This film tells the story of several people in Pegayaman Village. The subjects in this film are not in the same condition but are equally struggling to preserve the acculturation of Hindu and Islamic arts and culture in the Bali region. The information building in this film was a combination of interviews with selected subjects. The results of the research and creation were in the form of Nyama documentary films. The Nyama documentary is an acculturation campaign for arts and culture and a counter-discourse on the intolerant attitude of Indonesian society that is multicultural and has the character of Indonesian nationality.

Essentially, K2S was established to be an unified forum for all Javanese in Kupang City and its surroundings. K2S was a kinship independent social organization which is not affiliated with other social political or community organizations. The main objective of K2S was to develop family relations, brotherhood, togetherness and harmonization between K2S members, maintain and develop the values of Javanese art and culture, tradition, supporting faith activities, strengthen worship, and enhance morals of K2S members based on their dogma and it was also for contributions of Kupang city development. This study was done to ascertain the efforts of K2S in improving education of Islamic community in Kupang city. In this qualitative descriptive research, the data was gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed use the interactive data analysis models by Milles and Huberman. The study showed that the Javanese social harmony intercaction (K2S) took part in: 1. Social community aspects; 2. member’s training and empowerments; 3. spirituality; 4. Arts and culture.

<p><em>This research is a qualitative descriptive research aims to (1) describe and explain the structure of folklore of Purbalingga District, (2) to describe and explain the social care values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) describe and explain the relevance of folklore as the character buildingand teaching material in Junior High School. Data and information are collected through informants and documents. Data collection is done through observation, recording, interview, and document analysis. Research sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. Validation of data is done by triangulation. The results of this research are:</em></p><em>(1) the structure of folklore Purbalingga District, (2) social caring values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) relevance of folklore as the character building and teaching material in Junior High School.</em>

This study aims to identify and describe the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees and to find out what obstacles are the obstacles to the role of principal leadership in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees at SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research and uses purposive sampling technique. There are five roles of the Principal and two obstacles faced by the Principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees. The results showed that the principal of SMP PGRI 03 Kencong, Jember Regency carried out the role of a leader by planning and deliberating; as a manager by creating collaboration between teachers and employees; as an educator by preparing a learning program plan; as an administrator by managing facilities and infrastructure as well as financial administration; motivator by providing motivation with a conducive school environment. The obstacles faced by the principal in improving the work discipline of teachers and employees are teachers and employees who are less disciplined in carrying out their duties so that it is also difficult to improve their work discipline, as well as obstacles in inadequate school facilities and infrastructure. Keywords: employees, leadership, principals, teachers, work discipline Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai dan untuk  mengetahui kendala apa saja yang menjadi penghambat peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai di SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Terdapat lima peran Kepala Sekolah dan dua kendala yang dihadapi oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMP PGRI 03 Kencong Kabupaten Jember melaksanakan peran sebagai pemimpin dengan membuat perencanaan dan bermusyawarah; sebagai manajer dengan menciptakan kerjasama antara guru dan pegawai; sebagai pendidik dengan menyusun rencana program pembelajaran;sebagai administrator dengan mengelola sarana dan prasarana serta administrasi keuangan; motivator dengan memberikan motivasi  dengan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif. Kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru dan pegawai yaitu guru dan pegawai yang kurang disiplin dalam melaksanakan tugas sehingga kesulitan pula dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerjanya, serta kendala dalam sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang belum memadai. Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dalam mengerjakan soal olimpiade SMP bagi siswa kelas IX SMP N 8 Salatiga. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 4 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil tes dan wawancara diketahui semua subjek tidak memenuhi kelima tahap Krulik & Rudnick pada soal nomor 1. Pada langkah awal tahap membaca dan berfikir (read and think) subjek  telah melakukan kesalahan dalam memahami soal/masalah. Sedangkan untuk soal nomor 2 hanya 1 subjek yang tidak mampu melewati tahap kelima pada tahap teori Krulik dan Rudnick yaitu refleksi dan pengembangan (reflect and extend). Abstract:  This is a qualitative descriptive research. The purpose of this research is to know the ability of mathematics problem solving in doing Junior High Olympics for students of grade IX SMP N 8 Salatiga. The research subjects consist of 4 students selected by purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of tests and interviews are known that all subjects did not meet the five stages of Krulik & Rudnick in question number 1. In the first step of reading and thinking phase, the subject has made a mistake in understanding the problem. Meanwhile, in question number 2 only 1 subject who is not able to pass the fifth stage at the stage of Krulik and Rudnick theory, that is reflect and extend.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the dynamics of the independence of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students and what factors are behind the independence of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin students. The reason is because overseas there are changes in conditions and situations, so that students who leave will experience dynamics of independence. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research approach. Selection of subjects using purposive sampling technique, which is based on the characteristics of the subject in accordance with the research objectives to be carried out. The object of this research is the dynamics of independence, the subject is 5 overseas students. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. Based on the results of research that overseas students of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin need a process to be independent in living their lives overseas. That is because overseas there has been a change. Factors that influence the dynamics of independence of overseas students at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin are factors of parenting style, the order of children in the family, age and the education system in schools.

Kayoman Pedawa Group, directly initiated by the community of Pedawa Village aims to reconstruct and revitalize the existence of tourism potential in the form of natural, social, customs and local wisdom. The establishment of this group originated from the concerns of the community and  the young figures Pedawa village will be the phenomenon of the growing nature and local wisdom with the rapid modernization. Therefore, the interest is examined from  the phenomenon is and the role of the group Kayoman Pedawa in revitalizing the potential tourism-based local wisdom of Pedawa village. The theory used as a problem surgeon is the social action theory and structural functionalism theory. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The results of the research is a revitalizing cultural potential based on local wisdom by Kayoman Pedawa Group of some of them are; 1) rehabilitation of forests and agricultural cultures, 2) revitalization of ancient relics into tourism destinations of village history, 3) The reconstruction of local wisdom-based attractions, such as traditional houses, gangsing games, traditional gamelan reconstruction of Pedawa , revitalizing the manufacture and product of palm sugar Pedawa, 4) provide a mentoring of foreign students who study ethnography, and 5) socialization and publication of local wisdom of Pedawa village to the outside community, such as the interactive dialogue of Thunder Singaraja Radio broadcast, Through the making of documentary films in collaboration with Minikino Bali.

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the quality of learning during the pandemic, and (2) to analyze learning constraints during the pandemic. This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The use of qualitative descriptive methods in the study aimed to describe phenomena that focused on interrelationships between activities. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling, which is based on provinces that have high cases of covid 19 in Indonesia. The quality of learning decreases because students do not have learning motivation. Many of the obstacles experienced during learning related to school unpreparedness relate to aspects of learning evaluation and affective. The quality of learning during the pandemic is largely determined by the optimization of information technology.

Work-life balance is a situation in which employees can give right amount of time and efforts to their professional life as well as their personal life. The present study have focused on work life balance of women employee's in Bangalore, how women are trying to balance their work and family life in garment Industry. Descriptive Research design was used for this research. Sources were collected through questionnaire; total 200 employees were identified for this study. Convenient sampling method is adopted for sampling technique. This study concludes that most of the women employees are not able to balance their Work-life due to issues arising in the organization. The management should identify the problems related to Work-life balance. The company should frame better recreation facilities, work environment, counselling to motivate the employees. These steps can improve the productivity of the employee as well as the Organization.

The role of human resources is crucial for the realization of the company's goals to find optimal profits. At this time, employees will be motivated if needs are met, if needs are met then job satisfaction will arise which will have a positive impact on the work needs of employees at the company. This study aims to study the work motivation of employees of PT. Taspen (Persero) Bandung Main Branch Office. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive research type. Respondents in this study were 51 employees of PT. Taspen (Persero) Bandung Main Branch Office, sampling method Saturated sampling technique. Based on the results of research that shows motivation and performance at PT. Taspen (Persero) Bandung Main Branch Office is included in both categories. The results also showed motivation for employee performance. In addition, contributing motivation in contributing to employee performance by 33.8%. So the higher the motivation provided, the higher the employee's performance.
