This research explains the mysticism of mappadendang tradition in Allamungeng Patue Village, Bone Regency, which is believed by the local community as a form of shielding from danger and can resist reinforcemen such as Covid-19 outbreak. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative method and an ethnographic approach. This research was carried out with the aim of identifying the mystical space in mappadendang tradition which was held in Allamungeng Patue Village. After conducting the tracing process, the researcher found that mappadendang tradition which was held in Allamungeng Patue Village, Bone Regency in July 2020 was not a tradition of harvest celebration as generally in several villages in Bone Regency, especially Bugis tribe, but mappadendang was held as a form of shielding from all distress including Covid-19 outbreak. This trust was obtained after one of the immigrants who now resides in the village dreamed of meeting an invisible figure (tau panrita) who ordered a party to be held that would bring all the village people because remembering that in the village during Covid-19 happened to almost all the existing areas in Indonesia, the people of Allamungeng Patue Village were spared from the outbreak. Spontaneously, the people of Allamungeng Patue Village worked together to immediately carry out the mappadendang tradition as a form of interpretation of the message carried by the figure.

Hotel Resort and Cottage is a facility that will later help to develop culture, tourist attractions and also increase regional income. Until 2017 infrastructure development in Indonesia, in general, cannot be said to be equitable because so far, infrastructure development is only concentrated in Java and infrastructure development outside Java which, is less especially in remote areas and border areas. However, this issue canaddress by increasing Regional native revenue (PAD). Indonesia is known as a diverse country of natural and cultural resources, can be the main attraction in the tourism sector to bring domestic and foreign tourists to the area.  The methodology applied from the design of this resort hotel and cottage is research directly to the location to see the soil conditions, contours, facilities around the area, wind direction, view, and sunlight. It is also a reference to some of the existing literature regarding resort hotels and cottages. The area selected for this project is Sipiso-Piso, Saribu Dolok Street, Merek District, Karo Regency because of the many resources that can manage optimally. This place has the potential to be used as a tourist attraction as well as a cultural development place. However, this place lacks facilities and infrastructure. After identifying the needs of generator activities, researchers make the design of Hotel Resort and Cottagein, addition to improving tourist sites and cultural education, this design also aims to increase the revenue of this area. Public access to underwater and maritime cultural heritage has proven to have a very positive effect on the local economy. This type of heritage is very attractive for the cultural tourism sector in general and for active and diving tourism. The Nautical and Underwater Archeology Line of the University of Cadiz, within the framework of the TIDE Project (Interreg Atlantic Area) and Herakles Project (FEDER-UCA18-107327) have been working on the enhancement of maritime and underwater heritage through the application of new technologies. In this paper, we will present the advances in the project in the Strait of Gibraltar, based on the first phase of scientific analysis and on the definition of a common working methodology that has resulted in a toolkit for the development of tourism activities linked to the MCH and UCH. Pilot activities under development are focused on accessible underwater heritage routes, VR applications to create Dry Dive experiences and the streaming of underwater archaeological works, thanks to a bottom-surface acoustic communication buoy. Results show that these types of outreach solutions and, by extension, of tourism application, must be preceded by a rigorous archaeological research process, a study of the target audience and the evaluation of the carrying capacity of the sites, to avoid falling into the mercantilisation or deterioration of the UCH. On the other hand, virtual or indirect access solutions are very useful, but always through the correct interpretation of the heritage.

The purpose of this research is to define and describe the mathematical concept of the motifs woven fabric to the students of primary and junior high schools. The present study uses a descriptive qualitative method to explain the geometry concept on the motifs of woven fabric. The ethnographic approach is also employed as an empirical and theoretical approach to provide description and analysis about a culture based on intensive field work. The text concerns the possibilities to employ the auto/biographical approach in research on education. The researcher’s personal biography may not only define the perspective for scholarly cognition but also become the research object itself. The author ponders about how to mark and place the biography of the cognitive subject in the research process. The presented text is an attempt to answer this question and find a methodological justification for such research practices. In order to achieve that the author describes selected approaches: the biographical and ethnographic approach as well as action research, which allow incorporating the researcher’s “self” in their research. The author then proposes some methods for researchers to write about themselves which give them the ability to present their own autobiographical account.

The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data collection techniques using participatory observation and interviews. The results of this study explain the form of commodification carried out on the Bali Lestari beach by changing the beach brand from Indah to Bali. Then adopt Balinese culture such as traditional Balinese architecture, Balinese arches, paintings of puppet figures, statues and polished saput, which are made in such a way as to be identical to the nuances on the island of Bali. To get the appropriate commodification, the manager renewed and added several supporting facilities such as, water games, photo spots, prayer rooms, bathrooms and restaurants. The increase in visitors creates new jobs for the surrounding community, many of whom are shifting jobs from farming and fishing to traders on the beach. In order to get a permit to sell in this coastal area, the manager charges a low fee to the merchant to be paid. Government participation is also very necessary to develop the Bali Lestari Coast.
