This research starts from the low results of learning mathematics students. This can be seen in the daily test of students who are below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). One reason is a low understanding of mathematical concepts. Low understanding of concepts is due to the fact that mathematics is still abstracted by students. Abstract mathematical concepts for students will be easily understood when learning using teaching aids. Learning carried out is direct learning using chopstick props. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of students of class XII MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci and carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The research data collected is data on learning outcomes and field notes. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the application of direct learning models using chopstick props can improve learning outcomes. Increased learning outcomes for KD 3.1 amounted to 22.58% or reached 96.77% of students who were above the KKM. While for KD 4.1 the increase from cycle I to cycle II is 22.58% or reaches 93.55% of students are above the KKM.

This research starts from the low results of learning mathematics students. This can be seen in the daily test of students who are below the Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC). One reason is a low understanding of mathematical concepts. Low understanding of concepts is due to the fact that mathematics is still abstracted by students. Abstract mathematical concepts for students will be easily understood if learning uses learning media. Learning carried out is discovery learning using manipulative chessboard media. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci and conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The research data collected is data on learning outcomes and field notes. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the use of manipulate chess shooting media with discovery learning methods can improve learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of students from the first cycle and second cycle increased by 36.11%. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the use of manipulate chess shooting media with guided methods can improve learning outcomes on the subject of geometric transformation.

This study aims to describe the process and learning outcomes of Minangkabau creation songs to stimulate the introduction of the history of Minangkabau culture for children in kindergarten aged 5-6 years. This study uses action research in group B in TK Nurul Hidayah, West Sumatra. The method used is the Kemmis and Taggart method which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, field notes, action monitoring instruments and documentation. Data analysis is presented quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of quantitative data show that the ability to recognize children's history can increase after action is taken through Minangkabau creation songs. This can be seen from the results of the study which stated that the class average at pre-action was 54%. After the action in the first cycle, the class average increased to 69.70% and the second cycle increased by 82.74%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that Minangkabau creation songs are able to increase the ability to recognize the historical history of the Minangkabau region. The learning process is still dominated by the activities of the lecture so that less active learners. This will have an effect on activity and learning outcomes obtained learners in physics. To overcome the need for a suitable learning model so that students are more active and kretif in solving a problem that is by learning model Jigsaw. The purpose of research, the implementation of cooperative learning model Jigsaw can improve Physical activity and learning outcomes for students of class IX B SMP Negeri 16Surakarta, the first half of the year 20014/2015. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data obtained in this research include the study of students, learners and the level of activity observed in response to the results of the process pebelajaran. Indikator success when the average daily test results have been achieved> KKM. The results of the study, by using model Jigsaw can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students of class IX B SMP N 16 Surakarta academic year 20014/2015.

During the learning process students tend to be passive and learning is centered on the teacher, so activity and learning outcomes are low. One of the efforts that can be done is the provision of rewards and punishments during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the provision of rewards and punishments. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach, which is supported by a quantitative approach. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study involved 33 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Padang. Research data obtained through observation sheets, quizzes, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on research data in first and second cycles, it shows that the activities and learning outcomes of students have increased. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes from 40% in the first cycle to 67% in the second cycle. So, it can be concluded that learning by giving rewards and punishments could increase students' activities and learning outcomes.

This research is motivated by the large number of students who consider that social studies subjects are boring and unattractive subjects, so that they can influence student learning outcomes. In this study, researchers tried to use visual media to overcome these problems because visual media is a good motivational tool and can stimulate students to pay attention to the material being explained. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research, which in its implementation has four stages namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study in the form of tests, observations, interviews, and field notes. The results of research using visual media went well and smoothly. This can be stated by an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle carried out. Where in the pre-test only 37.9% of students who successfully met the graduation standard, entered the criteria "Very lacking". At the end of the first cycle test, the students' grades increased, students who successfully met the graduation standard was 75%, entering the criteria of "Good". and increased again in cycle 2 which is 90.7%, included in the criteria of "Very Good".
