This study was aimed to describe ability of prospective student educators in using computer technology to develop mathematics learning multimedia. The ability was used to develop Power Point multimedia and Adobe Flash multimedia. This study was descriptive research with 27 prospective student educators as a subject. Researcher was main instrument assisted product evaluation rubric and questionnaire. The result showed that the average of ability of prospective student educators in using computer technology was in good category. The average score were 77,59  in using Power Point multimedia and 74,54 in using Adobe Flash multimedia. The ability was sufficiently to be used in learning and teaching. From the product analyzed and questionnaire, we found that the ability were not maximal because there were many tools untapped primarily in Adobe Flash. Unfamiliar yet in used also became a factor that affected the ability of prospective educators in using computer technology. Keywords: The ability in using computer technology, mathematics learning multimedia, prospective educators

<em>The purpose of this research is to find out the design of an Adobe Flash CS5-based computer media on the quadrilateral concept material and how far this medium can facilitate understanding of the quadrilateral concept. It is a development research with stages consisting of needs analysis, computer media compilation, limited product trial and product evaluation. Data analysis performed for questionnaire of medium component evaluation is quantitative data analysis, while for questionnaire of medium material evaluation and student’s learning results, which are pre-test and post-test, is qualitative data analysis. The use of the medium can help students to improve their concept understanding of 42.969% and to keep answering with the right answer of 26.563%. The result of medium evaluation questionnaire on media being developed is good with average score of 33.75 from maximum score of 38. This shows that the media is useful to facilitate the quadrilateral concept learning in a classroom</em>

This research is a developmental research, the purpose of this research is to produce a problem based mathematic learning media with Tangent Line to Circle for VIII grade Junior High School student by utilizing Adobe Flash SC6 on a Compact Disc (CD). This research was conducted to determine the quality of mathematics learning media in accordance with a good learning media which based on three aspects; Validity, Practicality an Effectiveness. The procedure of this research was using ADDIE model; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The result of this research shown that Problem Based Interactive Mathematics Learning Media on Tangent Line to Circle for VIII Grade Junior High School fulfilled the criteria of good media quality. On validity aspect, the media got “Valid” category with average score 3,307 by material expert and got “Very Valid” category with average score 3,877 by media expert. On practicality aspect, validator determined that the media was applicable with minimal revision, teacher response to the media shown “Very Good” category with average score 3,404 and media learning implementation observation sheet analysis shown “Good” category with average score 3,333. On effectiveness aspect, students’ test result shows 85,19% student “Passed”, students’ mathematic solving ability shows “Good” category with average score 80,09 and also students’ positive response with 81,25% response

Develop and Test the feasibility of media-based mathematics learning blog especially in the trigonometric material which becomes the purpose of research. This development research uses 7 stages from 10 stages of borg and gall method that are potential and problem, collecting preliminary data, product design, validation, revision, trial, product revision and mass production. Blog learning media developed with the help of adobe flash aimed at providing some animation. The assessment instrument used is a feasibility questionnaire by media experts, materials experts, and student feedback. The result of the research is 1) Based on validation of material expert evaluation, the average score of 4.65 is in the category of "Very Good". Assessment of media experts gives an average rating of 4.35 so that the assessment in the category of assessment of "Very Good". The assessment of linguists gives an average rating of 4.5 which is included in the "Excellent" rating. In addition, in a small-scale test of the students obtained a score of 4.23 on the criteria of "Very Good", and while tested large-scale average test score of students responses is 4.19 obtained "Good" criteria. Thus it is concluded that the learning media that have been developed are in a good category and can be used in learning especially Trigonometry material.

This research was conducted to determine the appropriateness of learning media and to know the response of the learners to the mathematics learning media assisted by Adobe Flash through ethnomathematics on Lampung Traditional House for eight grade of junior high school on polyhedron subject. This research type was research and development (R&D). The research and development steps were based on the Bord and Gall model. The instrument of data collecting was questionnaire with Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative descriptive data analysis. The result of the research of mathematics learning media assisted by Adobe Flash through Ethnomathematics at Lampung Traditional House obtained the average value of material experts 3.62, media experts 3.47, linguists 3.67, and cultural experts 3.50 with "Valid" criterion and worth to use. The students’ response to learning media in small group trials obtained the "interesting" criterion with an average score 3.24 and in large group trials obtained a "very interesting" criterion with an average score 3.47. The teacher's response to learning media earned the "excellent" criterion with an average score 3.45.

This research is aimed at developing computer-based media for mathematics learning. This media used interactive model to help students understand the topic of lines, angles and rectangular. This development research applied development model by Borg and Gallmodified by Sugiyono.The study began by finding the potentials materials and its problems followed by astudy of literature. The subject in this research is line, angle and rectangular,including rectangle, square and trapezium. Product design was done through two stages: paper-based design and computer-based. The applications used for product design are Microsoft Frontpage, Microsoft Power Point and Photoshop. Learning media were validated by three experts or validators and were revised based on the input from the validators. The revised learning media were tested on two stages: a small group test consisting of five respondens and a large grouptest consisting of forty respondens. Based on the analysis of data and discussion, it can be concluded that computer-based mediafor mathematics learning is valid with an average score of 3.17 on aspect of materials and 3.18 from aspects of media. This computer-based media formathematicslearning also had practicalities with an average score of 97,92% on a small group test and 99,22% in the large group test..

The problem on this research was that the low score of students’ learning on social science study. There werestill a lot of students that did not understand basic concepts and tended to memorize examples. It was showed by58,07% from 31 students achieving minimum criteria completeness (KKM) from students’ test score in IVCclass of SDN 108 Pekanbaru for Koperasi subject. The students’ average score was 62,4, and the KKM stated byschool was 68. Based on this problem it was needed to do an action research using cooperative learning modelsTeams Games Tournaments (TGT) type. This research aims to know whether the implementation of cooperativelearning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ social science learningoutcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru in 2013/2014 with 31students. This research was done in twocycles. First cycle consists of three meetings with one daily test and first tournament, and cycle II consists ofthree meetings with one daily test and second tournament. Instruments to collect data in this research areteacher’s observation sheets, students’ observation sheet, and tests. By implementing using cooperative learningmodels Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.Percentage of completeness in basic score was 54,8% (62,40 in average), and it changed into 77,4% (75,6 inaverage) in cycle I and 87,1% (81,1 in average) in cycle II. Percentage of teacher’ activity in cycle I was 81,9%and 92,3% in cycle II. Then percentage of students’ activity in cycle I was 75,4% and 92,2% in cycle II. Fromthose data it proves that the implementation of cooperative learning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT)type can improve students’ learning outcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru.Key Words : cooperative teaching and learning model, Teams Games Tournaments (TGT),learning outcomes

This is a research and developmentstudy with limited trials which aims to develop the Mathematics Learning Package by using a geogebra-assisted scientific approach in the eight grade of MTs Al-Junaidiyah Biru, Bone Regency. Such learning package includes student books, student activity sheets, learning implementation plans and learning outcomes test. The subjects of this study were twenty two students of class VIIIC MTs Al-Junaidiyah Biru Bone Regency. The development procedure used in this study is the Thiagarajan model or 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) which includes four phases, namely the limitation, the design, the development, and the small scale distribution phase. Learning packagewith geogebra-assisted scientific approach that had been developed have been validated by experts and have been revised so that results are feasible to use. The results of limited trials show that the learning package produced has been practical and effective. (4) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes hasil belajar adalah 78,40 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 11,89. Dimana 19 dari 22 siswa atau 86,36% memenuhi ketuntasan individu yang menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai.The results of data analysis are as follows: (1) teacher activities can guide groups to work and learneffectively; (2) students generally give the positive responses to the developed learning package; (3) mathematics learning package with geogebra-assisted scientific approach make students more active in the learning process; (4) the average score obtained by students on the learning outcomes test is 78.40 from the ideal score of 100 with a standard deviation of 11.89. Then, 19 of 22 students or 86.36% fulfilled individual completeness which shows that classical completeness was achieved

This research conducted caused by students' score at class X MIPA 4 very low in the vector material. The avarage of score of the daily test obtained by students was 60,5 and it had not yet reached mastery learning. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes was to use powerpoint as a learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and mathematics learning outcomes on vector material in learning using PowerPoint.This research design used the classroom action research. The research subjects were 36 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collected by using tests and observations.The test used to obtain student learning outcomes in each cycle, while observation used to determine the learning process in each cycle. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 62.2 and 77.3 in the second cycle. The percentage of student learning completeness in the first cycle was 52.8%, in the second cycle it was 80.6%. The percentage of improvement in student learning outcomes after being given action was 15.29%. So it can be concluded that learning mathematics by using powerpoint media can improve student learning outcomes in class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Pessimism is the attitude or perspective of an individual who is depicted by uncertainty, despair, and there is no hope for something faced. Conversely, optimism is the attitude of someone who sees things positively. This study aims to find out how students who have optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, and find out the differences in students' mathematics achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students, and if there are better ones. This research was conducted in 4 (four) State High Schools in Semarang City, and 498 XII graders has been chosen randomly. The result is that 55% of students are pessimistic, and 45% are optimistic. The research hypothesis that there are differences in mathematics learning achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students has been proven in the results of this study. Significant differences were also confirmed through the results of statistical calculations, and can be indicated by the average score of the optimistic students is higher than pessimistic students. Further discussion is needed on the implications of the results of this study on mathematics education broadly.

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK), which aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through NHT type cooperative learning model in students of class VIII A MTs. Muhammadiyah conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers of mathematics studies. In the implementation of this research, it is done by giving group worksheet and observation sheet of student activity using NHT type cooperative learning model after giving an explanation about Pythagoras Theorem material as much as two cycles that cycle I and II. After being given group worksheets then conducted the assessment includes assessment of test results of a cycle I and cycles II and group worksheet to students that is by applying learning model of cooperative learning type NHT. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII A which amounted to 20 students consisting of 15 male students and 5 female students. Techniques of collecting data in research are this observation and test. The data obtained were then analyzed. The results of the study showed that the implementation using NHT type cooperative learning model on Pythagoras Theorem material. the ability of students in solving problems on the material above has increased. With the increase of the average value of students in the first cycle was 43.45 and increased in cycle II 83.90. Improvement of student learning outcomes to mathematics learning using NHT type cooperative learning is good. This is indicated by the average value of group learning outcomes in cycle I 60.00 or being in the medium category and the average score of the learning outcomes of the group in cycle I 82.50 or in the high category. This shows the result of increased mathematics learning after conducting cooperative learning model of NHT type
