The article clarifies the essence of the implementation of the criterial approach to explaining the process of formation of legal competence of future junior bachelors in the field of human sciences of HEIs from two perspectives: structural and methodological.It has been summarized that in the conditions of development of education and informational society, the legal competence of future junior bachelors in the field of human sciences of HEIs cannot be effectively formed without any prior determination of its structure. Legal competence is understood as “an integral quality of a student’s personality, characterized by several features”. These features are the unity of their legal efficiency at the theoretical level and mastering the set of key legal competences; practical readiness and ability to implement professional activities in the modern legal and regulatory field; ability to handle with professional relationships, establish and defend professional rights; self-development and self-improvement of their legal culture and development of legal culture of the society. From the structural perspective, the implementation of the criterial approach to explaining the process of formation of legal competence of future junior bachelors in the field of human sciences of HEIs is reflected in concrete definition of the components of the studied phenomenon. It has been established the key structural elements of the legal competence of future junior bachelors in the field of human sciences of HEIs, which are the following: content components (axiological (value and semantic), epistemological (content and legal), praxeological (functional and activity), reflexive and estimative) as a set of life values, values of professional activity, knowledge and skills to organize this activity in the legal field, reflexive abilities as well as a set of legal competences as generalized ways of action that ensure the productive performance of professional activities.It is determined that the criterial approach to explaining the process of formation of legal competence of future junior bachelors in the field of Human Sciences is the most constructive, because it promotes the connection between education and work more effectively. The article deals with the problem of definition and validity of concepts and categories of professional activities to ensure cyber security in the context of the reform of higher education of Ukraine and introduction of new specialty "Cyber security" field of study "Information technology", the urgency of the problem of training for public and private sector national cyber security system and the like. Considered well-known in Ukraine and abroad the definition of the terms "information security" and "cyber security", systematized and detailed their components. A comparison of these concepts identifies the relationship and differences between them which based on the purpose, objectives and process features of professional activity in these areas as well as generic concepts of "threat", "safety" and "security". Grounded approach to the definition of "cyber security" and suggests its author's vision with regard to the technical and humanitarian aspects (communicative, political, sociological and psychological aspects).

The paper discusses the problem of professional competence of penitentiary system employees. The author says that employees of the penal system should be ready for the challenges of the vital and professional way. The author defines existential aspect as part of holistic professional competence. Existential setting is included in the existential aspect of professional competence. Existential setting is defined as readiness of a future specialist for self-development and self-improvement. Existential setting is a spiritual resource of a person. Existential setting helps to maintain interest in the professional activity of penitentiary system employee in difficult situations. Existential setting is formed in the process of reflection development. The paper considers forms of educational work: existential dialogue, essays, solution of situational problems. The author gives a brief description of these forms of work and specific examples. The paper contains indicators of effectiveness: students interest in the spiritual side of life as well as in problems of the meaning of life and professional activities.

Statement of the problem. The article analyzes the philosophical-sociological and psychological-pedagogical literature on the problem of forming a universal self-development competence in the preparation of university students. The problem is the universal nature of the competence and the ambiguity of its interpretation and allocation of structural components. The purpose of the article is to clarify the definition of self-development competence among first-year university students from the standpoint of the existential approach (M.I. Rozhkov). The research methodology consists in the analysis and synthesis of normative legal acts, program documents in higher education, works of Russian and foreign researchers on the problem of students’ self-development. The result of the study is a more accurate definition of “self-development competence” among first-year university students within the framework of the existential approach, taking into account the identified age characteristics, the specifics of educational motivation and socio-psychological adaptation of students at the stage of transition from secondary to higher school. The revised concept interpretation of “self-development competence of first-year university students” and the identified structural components allow the teacher to timely determine the level and develop the ability of students to predict, according to the motivational-target, cognitive-prognostic, activity-reflexive components of the self-development competence with the modern requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++, developed on the basis of professional standards and approved in 2017.

The article considers the didactic conditions of musical training of choreographers in higher education institutions of our state. In this work the structural didactic features of musical competence of choreographers are defined, such as: feature of professional activity planning; ways and methods of performing professional activities; communication techniques; organizational skills of choreographers; features of dance and motor motility. The article also states that the author considers an individual approach to take into account the ways of adapting the properties of studentsʼ nervous system to the requirements of professional activity as an effective method of musical training of choreographers in domestic higher education institutions. The article also deals with an individual approach, which takes into account the individual differences of students, the development of techniques, tools and methods of forming professional and musical skills of choreographers, due to the typological properties of the nervous system. At the heart of the individual approach considered in the study there is the idea of understanding a developing student as a person with a unique set of individual qualities. This involves the recognition of different, but equivalent in effectiveness methods of educational and creative activities that meet the objective requirements of the professional activity of the teacher and the individual characteristics of the future specialist.Also, in this paper, it is noted that in pedagogical science didactics is connected with the methods of teaching courses. The method of teaching folk dance is somewhat different from other choreographic disciplines due to the specifics of national dance. All textbooks, programs and methodical materials on folk choreography are authorʼs versions and naturally cannot be accepted by all experts identically. The boundaries of this field, on the one hand, are determined by the level of development of the relevant science that is a theoretical and methodological basis of professional activities and relevant innovative experiences, and on the other hand – by the opportunities, inclinations, abilities, axiological and motivational and volitional component, character of an individual.

Work with gifted students requires a teacher to have special personal and professionally important qualities and creativity occupies a special place among them. A creative teacher can understand the peculiarities of behavior and worldview of a gifted child and possesses the competencies of organizing further development of the creative activity of special children, as well as their relationships with peers. The study is based on the concepts of axiological, humanistic, systemic, and activity approaches, the theory of convergent and divergent thinking, the teachings of an individual as a person and subject, of creativity as a process and a result, the creative nature of a teacher’s work, and theories addressing the creative essence of personality. The stage of university training is deliberately chosen for the study of the problem of development of a teacher’s creativity as a foundation for work with gifted students since the student age is the most sensitive period of this process. In the process of higher education, the development of a future teacher’s creativity in conjunction with their professional and personal qualities is essential as a condition for effective work with gifted students. The identified key psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of creativity in professional activity focused on work with gifted students include the professional activity orientation of future teachers to work with gifted children, professional knowledge, skills, and competencies focusing on gifted children, and psychological qualities of professional importance for work with gifted students. The article provides a specified definition of creativity, characterizes the signs of a teacher’s creativity, and describes the patterns, conditions, and stages of development of a future teacher’s creativity in the educational process in a higher education institution. The directions for further scientific theoretical and practical activities in the process of development of a future teacher’s creativity in parallel with training to work with gifted children are proposed. A promising direction of work is determining the ways to combine the operational and substantive sides of a teacher’s activity in work with gifted children.

У статті відстоюється положення, що духовну безпеку населення України здатне забезпечити лише демократичне правове суспільство, побудоване на основі правової компетентності та соціальної дові-ри його громадян, вияву високої громадянської позиції; одним із перспективних шляхів підтримання у суспільстві сталості і духовної безпеки, втілення ідей рівності і недискримінації є підвищення рівня правової культури та освіченості.Вищу освіту розглянуто як чинник розбудови правової держави, де правова культура громадян тісно пов’язана з усіма елементами правової системи формування правової культури молоді. Формування правової культури студентства визначене як тривалий процес, що реалізується в основному у середо-вищі ЗВО, визначає ступінь і характер правового розвитку особистості в суспільній правовій культурі, тісно взаємопов’язане з правовою освіченістю людини, зокрема, її розвиненою правосвідомістю, вмін-нями і навичками реалізовувати свої права, підпорядкувати поведінку вимогам правових норм.На основі аналізу наукової літератури встановлено, що складниками правової культури студентства є: повага до правових норм суспільства; наявність дієвих правових знань, норм права; висока культура, широка ерудованість; правові навички щодо реалізації суб’єктивних прав і свобод; особисто вмотиво-вана стала правомірна поведінка; громадсько-правова активність.Доведено, що у середовищі ЗВО є потреба у створенні цілісної системи формування правової куль-тури студентства із застосуванням різноманітних механізмів заохочення громадянської активності молоді, поширення студентського самоврядування, розвитку форм волонтерської діяльності та взаємо-допомоги. Визначено й охарактеризовано основні структурні компоненти системи формування право-вої культури студентської молоді у ЗВО: цільовий (формування всіх складників правової культури сту-дентства на основі принципів поінформованості та знань, доступності правової допомоги і підтримки, індивідуального підходу та толерантного ставлення; дотримання безпеки); суб’єкт-суб’єктний (надава-чі освітніх послуг, споживачі освітніх послуг, а також освітні стейкхолдери); організаційно-змістовий (зміст навчання студентів, специфіка виховної роботи та рівень студентського самоврядування тощо). The article defends the position that the spiritual security of the Ukrainian population can be ensured only by a democratic legal society, built on the basis of legal competence and social trust of citizens, the demonstration of a high civil position. One of the perspective ways to maintain sustainability, spiritual security in society and the implementation of the ideas of equality and non-discrimination is to increase the level of legal culture and education.High education is seen as a factor in building the rule of law, where the legal culture of citizens is closely linked to all elements of the legal system of youngsters’ legal culture. Students’ formation of the legal culture is defined as a long process, implemented mainly in environment of high education institutions. It determines the degree and character of individual’s legal development in public legal culture. Its closely interrelated with the legal personal education, including developed legal awareness, skills and abilities to realize own rights, and subject behavior to the requirements of legal norms.Based on the analysis of the scientific literature, the components of students’ legal culture are established. These are: respect the legal norms of society; availability the effective legal knowledge, legal norms; high culture, wide erudition; legal skills in the exercise of subjective rights and freedoms; personally motivated constant lawful behavior; social and legal activities.It is proved that there is a need to create an entire system of forming the students’ legal culture with the use of various mechanisms to encourage civic activity of young people, the spread of students’ government, the development of forms of volunteerism and mutual assistance. The main structural components of the system of formation students’ legal culture in higher education institutions are defined and characterized. Objective component (formation of all components the students’ legal culture on the basis of awareness and knowledge principles, availability of legal assistance and support, individual approach and tolerant attitude; safety). Subject-subjective component (providing the educational services, consumers of educational services, as well as educational stakeholders). Organizational and maintenance component (content of students’ education, specifics of educational work and the level of students’ self-government, etc.).

The article monitors the process of forming the legal culture of future teachers of history and jurisprudence in professional training, which included analysis of the subjects taught in the educational program in the specialty Secondary Education (History). Jurisprudence, analysis of external and internal factors that influence the process of formation of legal culture. The causes of low formation of legal culture of future teachers of history and jurisprudence are established: low requirements for the process of its formation, legal units within the disciplines of professional training offered to study, presented in the standards of pedagogical specialties autonomously from the legal courses, lack of discretion plan, insufficient legal competence of teachers, which, due to the peculiarities of the content of the discipline, it is necessary to teach the norms of Ukrainian law, professional training of future teachers of history and jurisprudence does not correspond to the level of legal culture, which should be demonstrated by a specialist after graduation from higher education institution. The criteria for selecting the content and volume of legal information needed for future history and law teachers are highlighted.

The readiness of student youth for professional activity is a complex personal formation. At the initial stages of education in higher education institutions is characterized by a contradiction between the student's need for professional self-determination and the lack of necessary professional competencies to meet it. To highlight the psychological factors of professional development students in the initial stages of higher education. Most of the respondents have a formed interest in professional activity, which implies a positive attitude to the chosen profession. Unfortunately, among the respondents there are students who do not have a positive attitude to the future profession. The professional development of first-year students is hindered by frustration as a result of failures related to learning. A large number of subjects have health problems that hinder successful professional development. The vast majority of students emphasize the importance of purposefulness in professional development. Most students consider interest in the profession as a factor influencing their professional development. The attitude of students to learning is one of the important indicators of their professional development. A factor that will help to implement the professional plans of students is their own strengths and abilities. Psychological factors of professional development of students at the initial stages of education in higher education institutions are highlighted. Psychological factors of professional development of students at the initial stages of education in higher education institutions are: the formation of interest in professional activities; frustration as a result of failures; health status; own inertia; purposefulness; full dedication in any case; realistic tasks to achieve the goal; healthy lifestyle; interest in the profession; example of colleagues; ability to self-education and own development; awareness of one's own strengths and abilities; sufficient funding; great own efficiency.

Training future specialist to professional activity is one of the main tasks of higher and professional education. Pedagogical modeling of professional activity is used to determine the content of quantitative and qualitative information, which is necessary for modern researchers to further work, and also directs them to the prospects of career growth. The purpose of the article is to analyse the content of the process of pedagogical projecting of the model of the future specialist. The author established requirements for the training of qualified personnel determine the necessary competences which specialist has to master, his professionally important qualities, necessary in future activity, and also carry out the goal setting of the training process, acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills. It is identified that the competence of future specialists is a set of their competencies, which in turn are classified into key required, without exception to all graduates and professional, appropriate to the particular specialty. The article reveals the content of constructing a model of the future specialist which allows to solve such problems: a description of the specialist's work in the course of its professional activities; identifying inconsistencies between the content of training and specific professional activities of specialists. Requirements are defined as quality standards to the training of future qualified personnel. The list of basic competencies of the future specialist has been set which include: general cultural, methodological, professionally-oriented. The model of the specialist personality is characterized. Disclosed the content of the process modeling of learning outcomes and the algorithm of its development is determined. The definition of the concept «pedagogical design» was offered to reveal the principles and forms of pedagogical design. It is established that pedagogical design is one of the most common types of research. It is considered as an alternative to the classroom system in educational institutions. Project technology should be used as a supplement to other forms of direct or indirect learning as a means of accelerated professional growth of the individual.
