The purpose of this research is to describe   the differences between the pattern of educational communication in the Village Unit Cooperatives (KUDs) and that in the Traditional Iskamic Boarding School Cooperatives (Kopontrens) in West Java Province, Indonesia.  The research was carried out with   qualitative approach on 12 KUDs and 12 Kopontrrens in West Java Province, Indonesia.   The idea of research was based on the International and Indonesian Cooperative Principles which obliges the cooperatives to arrange cooperative education program for the cooperative’s members and based on the facts of cultural background differences between KUDs and Kopontrens.   The result of the research indicated that  educational communication in the Kopontrens is stronger than that in the KUDs because the process of educational communication process in the Kopontrens has become a standardized educational program, so that the elements of communication process consisting of “who says what to whom in which channel,  in what effect and environtment”  has become a package of the educational communication    curriculum in Kopontrens. This could explain why  the members’ participation in the Kopontrens is better than that in the KUDs. This result of the study could give social and policy implication for developing method of members educatin  in the KUDs in Indonesia.

This result is a method of developing social and policy implication for developing methods for educatin in the KUDs in Indonesia.

Dairy goat is profitable object since the productivity is relatively brief, easy in maintenance and does not require much investment. Dairy goat become one of the important commodity for farmers in the village Cilengkrang, Cimalaka District of Sumedang. This study used a qualitative approach where 18 farmers who become interviewees. Collected data were observed and compared with the evaluation on the participants’ routine. The majority farmers are depending on individual experiences and conclusions without related guidance and supported references of diseases and procedures in nurturing dairy goats (61.1%), while the rest are consulting the problem to the vet or the group (83,3%). Some of them used the conventional treatment. However, when the condition of sick animal never improved, only 83,3% of farmers who contact veterinarian and the rest would prefer sell the animal in the market. It can be concluded that the majority farmers in the village, has experienced to overcome certain diseases of dairy goats. Nevertheless, the knowledge and sources of supporting references are still limited that affect to the use of inappropriate traditional herbs or regular human medicines from nearby stalls is still relatively high<em>, </em>so the awareness and knowledge of breeders about health management of dairy goat of breeders needs to be improved.

This article discusses the pattern of fostering deviant behavior that occurs among students. This research took place in Islamic boarding school to become one of the institutions of education that is fairly old in the Indonesian nation. In addition, Islamic boarding schools are also known as institutions to deepen knowledge and foster student morals. Therefore, each boarding school has a different pattern of coaching. This study uses field research (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The aim is to be able to describe the results of the analysis in detail. This problem attracts the attention of the writer to examine the pattern of guidance of students in controlling deviant behavior. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the factors causing deviant behavior of students are influenced by the family environment, boarding schools/schools and peers. As for the pattern of fostering santri in controlling deviant behavior in the boarding school of ar-Risalah, the village uses three coaching patterns, namely a preventive pattern, a repressive pattern and a curative pattern. Patterns of prevention are carried out to keep the delinquency from happening. Repressive patterns when students have deviant behavior so there must be consequences for the students. And curative control pattern is given if the pattern of preventive and repressive can not be a solution in controlling deviant behavior of students.

This research is aimed at acknowledging the model and success level of implementation of children of hope integrated education (Dikterapan) program in Fathul Khair Islamic Boarding School, Cimanggis Depok, West Java, specifically performing development for the marginal groups. This research uses qualitative approach with the data collection techniques of in-depth interview, observation and documentation. This research results in the following findings: 1) the students participating in the children of hope integrated education (Dikterapan) program originate from the marginal groups comprising street children and orphans. They are treated equally in receiving education, nurture, food, clothing, dwelling free of charge in the relevant Islamic boarding school, 2) the students are given comprehensive materials, starting from general education, religion education, to craftsmanship education, 3) education in the relevant Islamic boarding school has successfully changed the living pattern of the street children from totally free individuals to well-organized, religious, and disciplined individuals.

This study aims to identify and analyze Comparison Between Employers and Employees Welfare maqashid Shariah Perspective in the Village Kejawan Putih Tambak Surabaya. That is the basis of interview questions to determine the welfare comparison between employers and employees in terms of five aspects, namely, religion, life, intellect, lineage and property.This study used a qualitative approach with ethnographic strategy. Data was collected through interviews and direct observation to study the object. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis narrate the results of interviews and direct observation.The results of this study is that there is little difference between employers and employee welfare. The welfare of employers better meet the criteria Maqashid Shariah Perspective. The employers have more time to gather with family, having time to pray in the mosque, pay more attention to their health and have more social activities than employees. While employees have limited time togather with family, can not pray in a timely manner, rarely have time to socialize and do not have time for a workout. Therefore employers mental welfare is better than employees.

The research goal is to figure out the role of the Al-Mawaddah Islamic Girl Boarding School or Kiswah against economic empowerment employee of boarding school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with case studies. Data collected by interviews and observations directly to the informant that is in charge of the cooperative and the community surrounding the village of Coper Jetis Ponorogo and secondary data collection is derived from the journal, text books and other literature.Results from this study is a Kiswah role in the economic empowerment of the employees but still less perfect or less than optimal. The employees economic empowerment conducted by the Cooperative Al-Mawaddah Islamic Girl Boarding School or Kiswah by making Kiswah as employment and to increase their income. Going forward, Kiswah will change the shape of this cooperative that previously was business cooperatives into credit unions or other forms of cooperatives.

Abstract. Humans as social beings, certainly put through the process of communication in everyday life. The communication process can be done by using the existing role of the media. The development of technology, the development of the media has become increasingly sophisticated. One of them is the existence of social media. Currently, the communication process becomes easier, so we also know mediated communication, which in this study is through social media. In using social media, of course, can not arbitrarily, but there is a communication ethics that need to be considered. Ethics of communication in social media is what will be studied by researchers. In this digital era, social media development had already entered into the lives of women in rural areas, one of which is the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab. West Bandung. As for the focus of this study are: (1) determine the ethics of communication in social media for the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab.Bandung West; (2) determine the type of social media used by the PKK in the village Mekarmukti, Kab.Bandung West. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Researchers used data collection techniques include: observation, interview and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the ethics of communication in social media for the PKK include communication ethics in the context of time, the contents of the message, and the communicant; (2) the type of social media used is facebook, BBM, and WhatApp.

This study aims to describe the learning activities of Islamic Religious Education at the An-Naba Islamic Boarding School for muallaf. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic method. Interviews, observation and documentation were applied to collect the data. Data were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model analysis. The results showed that learning Islam for muallaf has the objectives to improve the quality of learning, create an ideal Muslim personality, foster Muslim morals, Muslim salimah personalities, and Muslims as caliphs. The optimization program for Islamic religious learning consists of a coaching program, an educational program, a development program, and a vocational education development program. The process of organizing Islamic religious learning for muallaf consists of four stages: shahâdah (the process of Islamization); ta'âruf (introduction) and tafâhum (understanding); ibthan (internalization); and muwâfaqah (acceptance).

EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATION PATTERN OF SALAFI BOARDING SCHOOL INTERACTIONISM SYMBOLIC STUDY IN MISBAHULKHOIR SALAFI BOARDING SCHOOL BOJONG PURWAKARTA. Salafi boarding school considered as a phenolmena refers to traditional institution of education as an integration of values and culture which contribute to uniqueness tradition and point of view. The uniqueness of salafi boarding school is represented by the symbols and its meaning. The meaning is done by the boarding society, where santri, ustad, and kyai are included, has give us a full meaning of point of view. The meaning as a product of interpretation on symbols to merge in interaction process, and the meaning as the life itself merging in the educational communication pattern of salafi boarding school. The aim of this research are to describe santri, ustad, and kyai understanding on self-concepts, meaning on the symbols as objects, meaning on symbolic activities, and the shared-meaning between members of salafi society. This research is using Herbert Blumer’s Interactionism Symbolic theory with qualitative approach and constructivism method and using Sympathetic Instrospection to analyze. The result of this research is that the self-concept has form the meaning on symbolic objects that include physical and non-physical objects which is forming in symbolic activities so all of it would perform the shared meaning as a educational communication pattern of salafi boarding school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan fungsi manajemen pada Masjid Al-Anshari dalam meningkatkan Jama’ah Shalat Shubuh dan Shalat Jum’at. Secara lebih rinci tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk pengetahui proses perencanaan, proses pengorganisasian, proses penggerakan dan proses pengendalian di Masjid Al-Anshari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dipandang tepat untuk digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yakni dengan cara observasi, wawancara, rekaman audio dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Masjid Al-Anshari di dalam meningkatkan jama’ah Shalat Shubuh dan Shalat Jum’at memiliki proses perencanaan berupa penyusunan unsur tujuan, unsur kebijakan, unsur kemajuan, dan unsur program. Proses pengorganisasian yang dilakukan dengan pembagian kerja melalui struktur organisasi, departementalisasi dengan deksripsi kerjanya, distribusi otoritas, dan koordinasi yang dilakukan setiap Briefing di Coffee Break. Proses penggerakan dilakukan melalui proses motivasi, proses kepemimpinan dan proses komunikasi. Proses pengendalian dilakukan dengan memperbaiki penyimpangan-penyimpangan yang ada.   This study aims to determine the application of management functions in the Al-Ansari Mosque in improving Jama'ah Shubuh Prayer and Friday Prayers. In more detail, the purpose of this research is to find out the planning process, the organizing process, the mobilization process and the control process at Al-Ansari Mosque.  This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, considered appropriate for use in this study. The data collection method is by observation, interview, audio recording and documentation study.  The results of this study indicate that the Al-Ansari Mosque in improving the congregation of the Shubuh Prayers and Friday Prayers has a planning process in the form of compilation of objectives, policy elements, progress elements, and program elements. The organizing process is carried out with the division of labor through the organizational structure, departmentalization with its work description, distribution of authority, and coordination that is carried out every Briefing at Coffee Break. The mobilization process is carried out through a motivational process, a leadership process and a communication process. The control process is carried out by correcting the existing deviations.
