<p>Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease caused by a virus and transmitted by vectors, especially <em>Aedes aegypti</em> and Ae. Albopictus. The number of cases tends to increase and is widespread in almost all regions. This study aims to determine the different types of water sources on the attractiveness of <em>Aedes aegypti</em> for laying eggs. The research method uses the One Way Anova statistical test analysis with α &lt;0.05. The results showed the One Way Anova test obtained p value = 0.048 (p &lt;0.05) meaning that there are differences in the type of water source to the attractiveness of <em>Aedes aegypti</em> mosquitoes to lay eggs, especially in well water with river water with a value of p = 0.016 (p &lt;0, 05). The difference in the number of mosquito eggs found in containers containing rain water, river water and well water indicates that the <em>Aedes aegypti</em> mosquito has different appeal in laying its eggs. The community should always maintain sanitation, especially containers that hold water so that it does not have the potential to become <em>Aedes aegypti</em> mosquito nest sites and can reduce the density of <em>Aedes aegypti</em> mosquitoes.</p>

Beta Fish Predation Power and Guppies Against the Third Instar Larvae of Mosquitos as a Vector Control Efforts in Dengue Fever         Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) disease was a disease caused by dengue virus infection remains a public health problem in Indonesia. The disease attacks all age groups every years. Effort to eradication DHF done by fulfill the predator of fish like cupang and guppy. The study to determined the difference of predation potential between betta and guppy toward the 3rd instar of larvae Aedes aegypti. This study was experimental with comparative study and one shoot chase study design. The population was larvae of Aedes aegypti mosquito 3rd instar with betta and guppy as many as 5. Every treatment used the larvae as many as 25. The treatment observe in 1, 2 , 4 and 6 hours the data analyze used the independent samples test. The results of independent samples test got the p value 0.000, proves there were the significantly difference of predation potential of betta and guppy toward the 3rd instar III of Larvae Aedes aegypti mosquito. Suggested to the society can used the predator fish to eradication the DHF disease. Keywords: The potential of predator fish Cupang (Betta sp.), Guppy (Poecilia reticulata), 3rd instar of larvae, Aedes aegypti. ABSTRAK        Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Penyakit ini menyerang semua kelompok umur dan muncul setiap tahun. Pengendalian DBD dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan ikan seperti ikan cupang dan guppy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan  daya predasi  ikan cupang (Betta sp.) dan ikan guppy (Poecilia reticulata) terhadap larva instar III nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  eksperimental bersifat komparatif dengan desain one shoot chase study. Subyek penelitian adalah larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti instar III, ikan cupang dan guppy masing-masing sebanyak 5 ekor. Setiap waktu pengamatan  menggunakan larva instar III sebanyak 25 ekor dan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 1, 2, 4 dan 6 jam. Analisis data menggunakan independent samples test. Hasil uji Independent Samples Test didapatkan nilai p value 0.000, membuktikan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna antara daya predator ikan cupang (Betta sp.) dengan ikan guppy (Poecilia reticulata) terhadap larva instar III nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Daya predator paling baik adalah  ikan cupang. Disarankan kepada masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan ikan predator dalam upaya mengendalikan penyakit Demam Berdarah.Kata Kunci: daya predator ikan cupang (Betta sp.), ikan guppy (Poecilia reticulata), larva instar III nyamuk Aedes aegypti.

One of the diseases that can be transmitted by flies is diarrhea. Green betel leaf contains essential oils, chavicol, arecoline, phenol, and tannins which function as plant-based insecticides. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of green betel leaf extract (Piper betel) as a plant-based insecticide on the number of mortality of house flies (Musca domestica). The research was an experimental study used After Only Design used the One Way Anova test with a 95% confidence level. The samples used were 360 ​​house flies. Each treatment of 30 house flies with 4 repetitions and used three concentrations of green betel leaf extract (25%, 50%, 75%). The study was conducted at the Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratory of Health Polytechnic Tanjungpinang, while the location of the fly collection was at the Tokojo Garbage Collection Station in Bintan Regency. The number of mortality of house flies at a concentration of 25% was 81 heads (67.5%), 50% concentrations were 93 heads (77.5%), and at a concentration of 75% were 103 heads (85.83%). There was an effect of green betel leaf extract on the mortality of house flies (p-value 0.0001 <0.05) with the most effective concentration of 75%. Further research is needed to obtain a finished product utilizing green betel leaf extract as a vegetable insecticide, especially in controlling the fly vector. Need further research on the use of green betel leaf extract as a vegetable insecticide controlling the fly vector by taking into account the amount of spraying and the age of the fly.   Keywords: Green betel leaf extract , organic insecticide, houseflies

Effort to control DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) vectors without toxic substances by using natural and enviromentally friendly materials was natural repellent made using plants that were widely available in the community.Many types of plants contain  various secondary metabolite compound substances that have the potential to be used as natural insecticides, especially as repellent of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. The research needs  to be done to determine the effectiveness of basil leaves, citronella leaves, clove leaves and betel leaves as a repellent against Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes. This research method was an experiment in the laboratory. The materials used for this research were basil leaves, citronella leaves, clove leaves, and betel leaves. The extracted leaves were then made lotions with certain formulas, tested as a natural repellent against Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes. The concentrations used were 20%, 40% and 80% as well as negative control (0%) and positive control (brand x lotions). The number of mosquitoes used in the study were 25 x 4 treatments = 100 mosquitoes. The replication or repetition was done 10 times. To find out the difference in the number of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes that perch on the hands of probandus which has been smeared with basil leaf, citronella leaf, clove leaf and betel leaf extracts uses Anova Statistical tests and kruskal wallis. To see the difference between concentrations was tested with LSD or Mann-Whitney test. The calculation result of the number of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes that perch before and after applying the lotion, the lowest was the lotion of citronella leaf extract 0% (11); 20% (2); 40% (1); 80% (1); The highest protection capacity of extract lotion is citronella leaves with concetrations of 20% (81,1%); 40% (95%), 80%(98,2%); There were no significant differences between the lotion concentrations of 20% and 80%, while the concentration of 40% is significantly different. Then the LSD follow-up test finds that the protective capacity of lotion of clove leaf extract is negative and citronella leaf extract is positive. The most effective protection capacity against Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes was lotion of citronella leaf extract with concentration of 40% (95%) and a concentration of 80% (98,2%), proven by the value of protection capacity that is stable even though it has been used for up to 6 hours and can exceed the protection capacity of lotion x (90,3%). It is reccomended that further research needs to be developed to optimize the lotion of citronella leaf extract 40% and 80% with orgonolaptic test of color, aroma, stickness and comfort of its use.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the population density of Alona sp. on yeast media with different concentrations. The study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications for 21 days. The treatments given were A: 10 ppm yeast, B: 5 ppm yeast, C: 1 ppm yeast, D: horse manure, and E: well water. The initial stocking density of Alona sp. for each treatment was 15 individuals/300 mL of well water. The water quality parameter measured during the study was temperature. The results of the one-way ANOVA test showed that there were significant differences between treatments on the density level of Alona sp. (p <0.05). Tukey's further test showed that treatment B was the best with a density of Alona sp. as many as 8059 individuals/300 mL of well water. The temperature during the study, in the morning was 26 ± 0.52°C and in the afternoon was 26 ± 0.46°C.

The yellowfin fish and terubuk were still rarely used in Papua. This study aimed to determine the physicochemical properties of complementary feeding biscuit formulated with yellowfin fish flour and terubuk flour to improve the nutritional status of children in Papua. A completely randomized single factor-experimental study by using three formulations of yellowfin fish flour and terubuk flour, F1 (1:3), F2 (1:1), and F3 (3:1) was conducted. The carbohydrate content was analyzed with by the difference method, fat by Soxhlet method, protein by Kjeldahl method, fiber by gravimetry method, iron and phosphorus by spectrophotometry method. The physical properties in terms of density, reconstitution and texture were conducted. Sensory evaluation was conducted to determine the acceptance of complementary feeding biscuits. Data were analyzed using the One-Way ANOVA test, Kruskall-Wallis test, Tukey test and Mann-Whitney test. Complementary feeding biscuits F1, F2 and F3 contained energy (435.58; 426.85; 436.71 kcal), protein (13.86; 15.75; 17.33 g), carbohydrate (23.19; 24.79; 20.45 g), fat (20.58; 20.40; 20.62 g), fiber (26.22; 20.63; 25.25 g), iron (3.76; 4.03; 3.68 mg), and phosphorus (267.70; 266.36; 275.79 mg). Complementary feeding biscuits had the following physical properties: density (0.64; 0.68; 0.70 g/mL), reconstitute test (20; 20; 25 mL) and texture test (468.78; 299.55; 408.05 gf). The complementary feeding biscuit was accepted by the panelists. The recommended serving size of complementary feeding biscuit with yellowfin fish flour and terubuk flour was 45 g or four pieces of biscuit needed to fulfill the required 30% of children’s protein per day

Background: Black Garlic is a fermented product of garlic that can be used as a herbal medicine for hypertension management. Based on the results of phytochemical analysis in black garlic There are several chemical content such as allicin, S-allyl Cystein, flavonoids, and hydrogen sulfide. The content of SAC, allicin, flavonoids and hidrogen sulfide in black garlic is a compound that can be used to lower blood pressure. Objective: The objective of this research is to prove the effect of Black Garlic on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Methods: The research method used a one group pretest and posttest design without a comparison group (control). The sample in this study were 15 people with hypertension in the work area of the Sempaja Public Health Center. To find out the difference in blood pressure with hypertension before and after being given a daily treatment of decoction of Black Garlic. Results: The result of statistical test analysis showed that the variable systolic blood pressure of p-value is 0.001 < 0.05, and diasttolic blood pressure of p-value is 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: The result showed that there was a significant influence on blood pressure before and after giving black garlic.

Objective: Understand Effect of Education Mitigation of Disasters Land landslide against Preparedness Society in Rural Melung District of Kedungbanteng Regency of Banyumas. Methods: This study uses quantitative methods with quasy experimental designs through the one group pretest-posttest design approach. Test were used in research this is a test paired sample t test with a number of 50 respondents were taken by proposive sampling. Results: Result statistical test p-value = 0.0001 ( p-value < 0.05) which means that there are significant landslide disaster mitigation education to the knowledge society in the village of the District Melung Kedungbanteng Banyumas Regency. This influence is indicated by an increase of 5,640 points from the score before training of 6,140. The difference of 5,640 is statistically significant.Conclusion: The preparedness of the village community in melung is included in the category of being ready to face the possibility of a landslide disaster, before the training knowledge of the people of 6,15 but after the knowledge of the rise of 11,78.Keywords: Mitigation disasters soil landslides, Preparednes, Education.

It is of interest to establish the cephalometric correlation of angular data between frankfort horizontal and the sella-nasion line in different sagittal skeletal bases. Beta angle was used to divide the sample based on their sagittal skeletal base relationship. The FH-SN angle was measured for each group. The data were tabulated into IBM SPSS software. Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk test was done to test the normal distribution of the data. One-way ANOVA analysis was done to test the difference of the FH-SN angle among the groups. Independent samples t-Test was done to test for gender dimorphism. The mean FH-SN angle of the sample was 6.33°3.35°. The results of the One-Way ANOVA and independent samples t-Test were insignificant. Results show that is no statistically significant difference in FHSN angle between skeletal class I, II and III.The mean FH-SN angle of the sample was 6.33°3.35°. The distribution of the data was normal. The results of the One-Way ANOVA and Independent samples t-Test were insignificant. There was no statistically significant difference in FH-SN angle between skeletal class I, II and III.

SummaryThe main aim of this research was to compare differences in heart rate values (HR) of soccer players during small-sided games (SSGs) with different number of players. We assumed that the number of “neutral” player or players in small-sided games will significantly affect the intensity of SSGs and in this case the heart rate values of participating players. The experimental group consisted of older junior players from the FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda soccer club (n = 9). The heart rate values were evaluated on the basis of collected data, which we obtained using Polar sport testers and special software Polar Team2. In order to find out the statistical significance of the difference in heart rate was used the One-Way ANOVA and the Bonferroni post hoc test. The level of statistical significance we set at 5 %. We found out that with increasing number of “neutral” players’ the intensity of small-sided games gradually decreased. During SSG1 (3 vs. 3), we recorded the highest achieved average heart rate values of the monitored players, in average 171.33 ± 9.39 beats.min-1. This form of the SSGs was the most intense, but not statistically significant. Our recommendation is to employ SSGs in the systematic training process with different number of players, because we can adequately prepare the players for the match load itself. Attention need to be paid for the playing position requirements.
