The service team of the Food Science and Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture along with the Community Service Institute of Universitas Sumatera Utara has conducted service activities for partner which are SMEs of tofu chips in the Hamlet II of Pisang Pala Village, Bangun Purba District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province between May and October in 2018. The partner named Roemah of Al Fatih, which produces raw tofu from soybeans, fried round tofu, and tofu chips. The main problem faced by the partner that began production in 2016 was the difficulty when making spherical of tofu dough as the starting material for tofu chips. So far, the partner has carried out the process of rounding out the dough manually using hand which took a long time. The service team offered a solution by granting a tofu rounder machine from stainless steel using electrical energy. Furthermore, the service team tested the production capacity of the tofu rounder machine and the conventional method (using hand). For the quality of round raw tofu (specific gravity and appearance of the product) and the quality of tofu chips, the team analysed and compared both products which were produced by hand and by machine. The results obtained the use of the tofu rounder machine can increase the capacity of round tofu production significantly, improve the appearance of round tofu products to be denser, and increase the value of preference for the texture of tofu chips produced. The grant of the tofu rounder machine is expected to help the partner for working up the company's profits in the future.

Significant Difference

A lecturer with a good performance has a positive impact on the quality of teaching and learning. The said quality  includes the delivery of teaching materials, learning methods, and ultimately the academic results of students. Performance of lecturers contributes significantly to the quality of research and community service which in turn improves the quality of teaching materials. It is desirable, therefore, to have a method to measure the performance of lecturers in carrying out the Tri Dharma (or the three responsibility) activities, which consist of teaching and learning process, research, and community service activities, including publications at both national and international level. This study seeks to measure the performance of lecturers and cluster them into three categories, namely "satisfactory", "good", and "poor". Data were taken from academic works of nursing study program lecturers in conducting academic activities. Clustering process is carried out using two machine learning approaches, which is K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms. Evaluation of the clustering results suggests that K-Medoids algorithm performs better compared to using K-Means. DBI score for clustering techniques using K-Means is -0.417 while the score for K-Medoids is -0.652. The significant difference in the score shows that K-Medoids algorithm works better in determining the performance of lecturers in carrying out Tri Dharma activities.

This activity was carried out at Poklahsar Tampung Parei Jalan Tingang VIIB/Bukit Pengharapan No.2 Palangka Village, Jekan Raya Sub-District, Palangka Raya City on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. The purpose of this activity was to transfer knowledge and technology for processing value-added fish products for added value. Poklahsar Tampung Pare utilizes local wisdom so that it can produce new variant products. The open mindset of participants of the Fisheries Product Technology Study Program at Palangkaraya University to learn entrepreneurship with the skills they have to prosper their lives going forward. The activity was carried out by giving material to the Community Service Team in discussions with fish processing products entrepreneurs and demonstration of the manufacture of new products by adding sesame powder to processed products of wadi patin. Value-added processed fish products from local wisdom have advantages over other products. Besides being a product with a variety of new flavors, it can also increase consumer interest in buying to increase income and improve the welfare of the community, especially fisheries processing.

Blacksmith is a people's business that has been going on for a long time in Indonesia. Based on the experience that has been obtained from time to time and hereditary, the blacksmith industry has been done by the community to meet the needs of agricultural and household utensils. However, observe to this people's business, now it decreases with various causal factors, such as the ease of imported goods on the market with lower prices. Many creative efforts need to be carried out so that these people's businesses remain and increasingly develop, among others by improving the quality of the process of a blacksmith so that their products are quite competitive. This article describes the results of the research in the laboratory regarding the physical processes of heating and quenching under blacksmith, which the results have been applied to community service activities at the Suger Kidul villages in Jember Regency. The study aimed to find the most appropriate procedure for steel tool manufacturing processes so that the blacksmith products have high quality as high hardness. The physical process for blacksmith process is heating and quenching. This study analyzes the proper heat (temperature), proper processing time, and proper media for heating and quenching to produce good harness quality of the product.

Diploma III Electrical Technology Study Program is a institutional vocational education institutional in Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics that aims to produce graduate who are ready to work in operation and maintenance of power system. Since phenomena of scarcity of fossil fuels, study program meet the 2 major problems, namely the limitations of electrical energy for practical lab work and increased job skills on the electrical energy conversion of electrical energy from renewable energy. The purpose of this research is to optimalize capacity of solar and wind energy contained in the environment of the laboratory on the microgrid configuration, namely PV-Wind turbine-Battery. Software HOMER is used to simulate microgrid configuration with AC-DC load, AC load, and DC load. The results show indicate that microgrid PV-Wind turbine-Battery is more economically to meet the need AC-DC load than the others.

AbstrakKebahagiaan manusia yang hakiki dapat diperoleh dari konsistensi mentaati suatu aturan tertentu. Agama Islam sangat menganjurkan pemeluknya untuk memahami tata cara ibadah seperti sholat dan wudhu. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini memfokus pada pendampingan spiritualitas pada lansia Desa Kare Madiun  dalam bentuk pelatihan sholat dan wudhu. Pendampingan ini  mempunyai beberapa tujuan. Pertama, untuk menghasilkan suatu perubahan, perbaikan, kesehatan, dan kebersihan jiwa dan mental masyarakat Desa Kare khususnya Lansia Desa Kare. Kedua, adanya perubahan dan perbaikan dalam aspek kesopanan tingkah laku yang dapat memberikan manfaat, baik pada diri sendiri, lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan kerja, maupun lingkungan sosial dan alam sekitar. Ketiga, mendukung keberhasilan kecerdasan rasa (emosi) pada lansia sehingga berkembang praktik toleransi, kasih sayang, kesetiakawanan, dan tolong menolong. Keempat, mendukung ketercapaian kecerdasan spiritual pada lansia sehingga mendorong kualitan ketakwaan kepada Allah SWT. Pelatihan pendalaman agama ini menggunakan metode ekspository berupa program kajian rutin dimulai dari tanggal 26 Juli sampai 10 Agustus 2016 disertai program tambahan berupa pengkaderan. Kata Kunci: Lansia, Pelatihan, Wudhu, Sholat. AbstracsEssential human happiness can be obtained from consistency in obeying certain rules. Islam strongly encourages its adherents to understand the procedures of worship such as prayer and ablution. The implementation of community service focuses on spirituality assistance in the elderly Kare Madiun Village in the form of prayer and ablution training. This assistance has several objectives. First, to produce a change, improvement, health, and cleanliness of the soul and mentality of the Kare Village community, especially the Kare Village Elderly. Second, there are changes and improvements in aspects of courtesy that can provide benefits, both to oneself, family environment, work environment, and the social and natural environment. Third, it supports the success of sense intelligence (emotion) in the elderly so that it develops the practice of tolerance, affection, solidarity, and help. Fourth, to support the achievement of spiritual intelligence in the elderly so as to encourage the quality of piety to Allah SWT. This religious deepening training uses the expository method in the form of a routine study program starting from July 26 to August 10, 2016 accompanied by additional programs in the form of cadre. Keywords: Elderly, Training, Ablution, Prayer.

The government's attention to vocational graduates has recently become a hot issue and various programs have been carried out by the government to improve the quality of vocational graduates, therefore they can compete. However, the BPS data in 2018 shows that the number of unemployed graduates from vocational school (SMK) is the highest, namely 11.24%, while Senior High School (SMA) is 7.95% and Junior High School (SMP) is 4.80%. Based on the problem, Study Program of Management, Faculty of Business, President University implemented a community service program that supports government policy, namely by providing Entrepreneurship Education to students of Amanah Bangsa Informatics Vocational School, Cikarang. With this entrepreneurship education, SMK graduates are expected to start a business as an alternative after graduating later. Entrepreneurship education is given in the form of seminars for Class XII students conducted by lecturers and students. In addition to providing lecture material on Entrepreneurship, students who have carried out business projects also share their experiences while opening a business, doing business until business liquidation as part of Entrepreneurship Course. The point is that students want to convey that starting a business is easy and has many challenges that are very suitable for millennials, and can apply all our abilities. The event was closed by giving a memento to the Vocational School and certificates to the participants.

Accreditation is an evaluation to ensure the quality of a study program at higher education by completing two main documents for qualitative data and self-evaluation, namely Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Report (LED) respectively. Data used for this process must be consistent and accurate, therefore a central repository is proposed. A data warehouse for the domain of Research and Community Service is built using the snowflake schema and a five-step approach methodology proposed for the educational data warehouse. The schema consisted of one fact table, ten dimension tables, and four bridge tables. Using a business intelligence tool, data from the data warehouse is queried and provided in a dashboard. The data warehouse successfully returned the qualitative data needed for LKPS. As for the evaluation data for LED, the data warehouse is able to fulfill seven out of ten requirements. The data for the remaining three are provided with a slightly different orientation to the requirement, this was due to the data source.

Desa Srikamulyan terletak di Kecamatan Tirtajaya, Kabupaten Karawang, Propinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah penduduk 7.381 orang yang terdiri dari 3.742 laki-laki dan 3.639 perempuan. Di desa Srikamulyan saat ini terdapat 6 usaha bengkel motor, Namun belum  banyak  warga yang  mengetahui  bagaimana  kualitas  pelayanan  yang  baik  pada  bidang usaha tersebut. Oleh  karena  itu  melalui pengabdian masyarakat prodi teknik mesin Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang dengan tema pelatihan  ini  diharapkan warga desa mengetahui dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang baik kepada pelanggannya di bidang usaha bengkel sepeda motor. Pelatihan ini  terdiri  dari  dua  sesi  yaitu  sesi  teori  dan  dilanjutkan  sesi  praktek teknik  perawatan motor. Pada  sesi teori dan praktikum ini  disampaikan untuk mempertahankan performa kendaraan, maka kendaraan harus dirawat secara berkala. Pelatihan  ini berjalan dengan lancar, pada sesi  teori diselenggarakan di  aula desa Srikamulyan  sedangkan  sesi  praktek  diselenggarakan  di  halaman  kantor  desa Srikamulyan. Pada  sesi praktek sepeda motor yang digunakan adalah Honda Beat dan Honda supra x 125. Kata kunci :  desa Srikamulyan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, perawatan sepeda motor, bagian rangka kendaraan.   Srikamulyan Village is located in the Tirtajaya District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province with a population of 7,381 people consisting of 3,742 men and 3,639 women. In Srikamulyan village, there are currently 6 motorcycle repair shops. However, not many residents know how good the quality of service is in this business sector. Therefore, through the community service of the mechanical engineering study program, University of Buana Perjuangan, Karawang with the theme of this training, it is hoped that the villagers will know and improve the quality of good service to customers in the motorcycle repair business sector. This training consists of two sessions, namely a theory session and followed by a practical session on motor maintenance techniques. In this theory and practicum session, it was conveyed that to maintain vehicle performance, the vehicle must be regularly maintained. This training went well, the theory session was held in the village hall of Srikamulyan while the practical session was held in the courtyard of the village office of Srikamulyan. Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyempurnakan 7 dimensi yang harus ada dalam sebuah kualitas produk pada produk camilan makanan olahan Canoi produksi dari IKM Arfifood Jl. Kenjeran Surabaya Jawa Timur sebagai mitra kegiatan ini. Target kegiatan yang harus terlaksana dalam pendampingan terhadap mitra guna meningkatkan kualitas dan kapasitas produksi Camilan Makanan Olahan Canoi adalah dengan pendampingan pembelian alat produksi yang dibutuhkan berupa mesin spinner yang berfungsi untuk menyerap kadar minyak dalam produk sehingga dapat bertahan lama dan cita rasa produk dapat terjaga. Pemberian pelatihan berupa proses produksi juga perlu dilakukan karena produsen ini masih dalam sekala Industri Kecil Menengah guna membantu dalam peningkatan kapasitas usahanya menjadi lebih besar. Berdasarkan monitoring dan evaluasi setelah diberikan bantuan, IKM Arfifood mampu menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan tuntutan 7 dimensi tersebut dan mampu memproduksi dengan volume yang lebih besar. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dan mulainya kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk. This Community Service aims to improve the 7 dimensions that must exist in a product quality in Canoi processed snack products produced by IKM Arfifood Jl. Kenjeran Surabaya, East Java as a partner of this activity. The target of activities that must be carried out in mentoring partners to improve the quality and production capacity of Canoi Processed Snacks is to assist in purchasing the required production equipment in the form of a spinner machine that functions to absorb the oil content in the product so that it can last a long time and the taste of the product can be maintained. The provision of training in the form of production processes also needs to be carried out because these producers are still on the scale of Small and Medium Industries to assist in increasing their business capacity to become larger. Based on monitoring and evaluation after being given assistance, IKM Arfifood can produce products that meet the demands of the 7 dimensions and are able to produce in larger volumes. This indicates an increase and the start of consumer confidence in the product.

<p><strong><em>Abstract, </em></strong><em>Petungsewu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency is one of the villages where most of the people are incensed craftsmen, but the incense produced is semi-finished incense or raw incense. The problem faced by incense craftsmen is that the selling price of semi-finished incense tends to decline from year to year, the limited bamboo raw material even has to be imported from other areas, only producing semi-finished incense (raw). The aim of the activity is to increase the value added of incense products, and increase people's income by selling incense products with brand packaging. The method of implementing the activity is to diversify the product by training and mentoring in making incense, product packaging training and quality control, online marketing training, utilizing incense making technology. As a result of community service activities, the community is able to produce fragrant incense packaged and branded and has been sold. Besides that, by utilizing incense bamboo making technology, the production capacity of incense biting production increased, the quality of the bamboo produced was more uniform, so the problem of limited incense material could be overcome.</em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: Craftsmen, Value Added, Training</em></strong><em></em></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak,</strong> Desa Petungsewu Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang adalah salah satu desa yang sebagian besar masyarakatnya adalah pengrajin dupa, tetapi dupa yang dihasilkan adalah dupa setengah jadi atau dupa mentah.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi para pengrajin dupa adalah harga jual dupa setengah jadi cenderung turun dari tahun ke tahun,  keterbatasan bahan baku biting bahkan harus didatangkan dari di daerah lain, hanya memproduksi dupa setengah jadi (mentah). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk dupa, dan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dengan menjual produk dupa jadi dengan kemasan merek. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah melakukan diversifikasi produk dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat dupa wangi, pelatihan pengemasan produk dan quality control, dan pelatihan pemasaran online, pemanfaatan teknologi pembuatan biting dupa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian, masyarakat mampu menghasilkan dupa wangi yang dikemas dan diberi merek dan sudah mulai dijual. Selain itu dengan pemanfaatan teknologi pembuatan biting dupa, kapasitas produksi pembuatan biting dupa meningkat, kualitas biting yang dihasilkan lebih seragam, sehingga permasalahan keterbatasan bahan biting dupa dapat diatasi.</p><p><strong>Kata</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Kunci: Dupa Wangi, Nilai Tambah, Pelatihan</strong></p>
