Abstract: The development of science will trigger the development of technology. Conversely, the development of technology will also be able to improve the development of science. This development has altered the paradigm of the public to find and obtain information, which is no longer limited to information newspapers, audio and electronic, but also other sources of information and one of them is the internet network. Media has an important role in a learning process. Learning has changed from lecturing method to the use of the media in learning in order to increase the learner’s motivation, stimulate the learner to memorize what has been learnt, enable the learner to give feedback and encourage students to always pay attention to the material delivered. (Munadi, 2008: 9). One of the popular media now is the internet. This research was quantitative with Pre-Experimental design of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was all students in the first grade and second semester of Diploma IV Mataram of Nursing Department, while the sample was 148 respondents. The statistical test used was Paired T test. The result indicated that the difference of pre and post test knowledge of classical learning group was P = 0,00, P value <0,005 which mean there is a significant difference between pre test knowledge and post test in classical learning group.Keywords: Learning achievement; Internet.

The purpose of conducting this research is to examine the difference NGain scores between students who learn vocabulary with Blindfold Game and students who learn vocabulary without Blindfold Game at the first year students of SMP Negeri 13 Kendari. The samples of this research are the first grade four (VII-4) and the first grade three (VII-3) which consists of 27 students for each class. This research is conducted in comparison research design that consists of experimental class (VII-4) and controll class (VII-3). The data of this research are collected by giving pre-test and post-test in two classes (VII-4 & VII-3). The result shows that there is an improvement of the students’ vocabulary achievement. Independent samples t-test shows that, there is a significant difference in the Ngain scores for experimental class ( M = 60.08,  SD = 9.36 ) and controll class ( M = 20.41, SD = 14.56 ), t (52) = 11.904, p (0.000) < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the value of Sig (2 tailed) is lower than the significance α value (0.000 < 0.05). In other words, alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It means that the Blindfold game can enrich students’ vocabulary achievement for Junior High School Student.

The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of intradialysis exercise using barbells and Range of Motion (ROM) on the adequacy of hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney disease in the hemodialysis room of RSIJ Sukapura in 2018. The design of this study uses a design with non-probability pre and post test two groups without control design . The result of the difference in the effectiveness of the adequacy values between the two intervention groups after the intervention was given was the barbell intervention obtained 1,33 with a standard deviation of 0.485, an error standard of 0.114. Whereas in the ROM intervention group 1.67 the standard deviation was 0.485, the standard error was 0.114 and the p-value was 0.047 (> 0.05). Conclusion, there was no significant difference in the value of hemodialysis adequacy between the barbellROM intervention groups after the intervention.   Keywords: Hemodialysis Adequacy, Barbell, Exercise Effectiveness, Intradialysis, Range Of Motion (ROM)

Background: Problem Solving Circle (PSC) is a learning method used to build up a leadership characteristic to meet the clinical practice outcome especially in nursing management subject. The characteristic includes 3 aspects, there are knowledge/intelligence, personality, and ability. The way of thinking critically, systematically, and creative are basic characters in facing a competitive future ahead. Objective: This studyaimed toidentify the effect of PSC to student’s leadership competencies on nursing management subject. Method: One group pre-post test designwasusedinthisstudywithtotal35nursingstudentassamples.Datacollecting have done accord to questioner as an instrument in this study which divided the competencies as 3 domains, intelligence, personality, and ability. Univariate and bivariate analysis have conducted used paired T-Test. It used to find out the difference betweenleadershipcompetenciesbeforeandafterimplementation.Result:therewasa significant difference in leadership competencies after using PSC method with p-value 0.000(α:0.005). Conclusion: Nursingeducationespecially inclinicalpracticeareanot only to increased students skill competencies but also the leadership competencies to make them ready at their future job as nurse professional. This study showed that PSC can be an alternative learning method for improving student leadership competencies. Another study should conduct in PSC implementation with larger samples.

AbstrakBayi baru lahir memiliki 80 ml darah dari plasenta pada 1 menit setelah kelahiran dan 100 ml pada 3 menit setelah lahir, volume ini akan memasok 40-50 mg/kg ekstra besi untuk memiliki 75 mg/kg besi tubuh bayi yang cukup bulan yang dapat mencegah kekurangan zat besi pada tahun pertama kehidupan. Oleh karena itu pemotongan tali pusat yang terlalu cepat setelah persalinan akan mengurangi kandungan besi sekitar 15-30%, sedangkan bila ditunda 3 menit dapat menambah volume sel darah merah sekitar 58%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan adanya perbedaan kadar Hb (hemoglobin) dan Ht (hematokrit) akibat perbedaan waktu penjepitan tali pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tempat Bidan Praktek Mandiri Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian eksperimental dengan post-test only controll group design. Pengambilan sampel secara consecutive sampling sampai tercapai jumlah 36 bayi yang terbagi atas 18 bayi baru lahir pada tiap kelompok. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata kadar Hb dan Ht pada kelompok penjepitan 3 menit setelah lahir lebih tinggi daripada penjepitan 1 menit. Terdapat perbedaan kadar Hb yang bermakna antara kelompok penjepitan 3 menit setelah lahir daripada 1 menit dengan nilai P=0,004.  Ada terdapat perbedaan Ht yang bermakna antara kelompok penjepitan 3 menit dan 1 menit dengan nilai P=0,001. Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah kadar Hb dan Ht lebih baik pada penjepitan tali pusat ditunda 3 menit setelah lahir dibandingkan dengan penjepitan 1 menit setelah lahir.Kata kunci: hemoglobin, hematokrit, penjepitan tali pusat AbstractThe newborns contain 80 ml of blood from the placenta in 1 minute after birth and 100 ml in 3 minute after birth. This volume supply 40 to 50 mg/kg of extra iron to have 75 mg/kg of body iron baby full-term that can prevent iron deficiency in the first year of life. Therefore, cutting the umbilical cord too soon after birth will reduce the iron of content about 15 to 30%, whereas when delayed 3 minute its can increase the volume red blood cells about 58%. The objective of this study was to prove the difference of hemoglobin and hematocrit level between 3 minutes and 1 minute cord clamping.  Experimental research was conducted with post-test only control group design of 36 newborns. Data were analyzed by t-test. The result of this study showed that the mean of hemoglobin and hematocrit level in 3 minutes of clamp are higher  than 1 minute of clamp.There was a significant difference of hemoglobin level between 3 minutes cord clamping group and 1 minute cord clamping group with p value is 0.004. There was also a significant difference of hematocrit level between 3 minutes cord clamping group and 1 minute cord clamping group with p value is 0.001. The conclusion is the hemoglobin and hematocrit level are better in cord clamping delayed in 3 minutes after birth than clamping in 1 minute after birth. ABSTRACT The filariasis mass drug administration (MDA) program is one of the strategies to eliminate lymphatic filariasis. First round coverage in Kuningan Regency was 85.4%, but only 50% of sub-districts have reached the target. The aim of this research was to determine the improvement of knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of health cadres through intervention to increase the filariasis MDA coverage in Kuningan Regency. A quasi-experimental research was conducted in Cibeureum and Cibingbin Sub-District of Kuningan Regency using pretest-posttest design from May to October 2016. Selected subjects of this research were 32 health cadres who were given intervention in the form of workshop utilizing leaflets, handbooks, and video. The difference is treatment group was taught about filariasis related materials by an expert but the control group was not. Data were analyzed with paired t-test. The result showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test in terms of KAP in both groups with p-value of 0,000, but there was no difference in value between the two groups. Thus, the study concluded that training on cadres with a filariasis expert could be an effective strategy as to increase MDA coverage. Keywords: Intervention, filariasis MDA, knowledge, cadre   ABSTRAK Pemberian Obat Massal Pencegahan (POMP) merupakan salah satu strategi eliminasi filariasis di Indonesia. Hasil cakupan POMP putaran pertama di Kabupaten Kuningan mencapai 85,4% dari total target penduduk, namun hanya 50% kecamatan yang mencapainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku kader setelah dilakukan intervensi dalam rangka meningkatkan cakupan pengobatan filariasis di Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Cibeureum dan Cibingbin, Kabupaten Kuningan pada bulan Mei - Oktober tahun 2016 dengan eksperimen semu menggunakan desain  pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 kader yang diberi intervensi berupa pelatihan dengan media cetak  dan video. Perbedaan antara kelompok intervensi dengan kontrol adalah bahwa kelompok intervensi diajarkan materi terkait filariasis oleh seorang ahli dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan pelatihan. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pada skor nilai pretest-posttest pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku pada masing-masing kedua kelompok dengan hubungan bermakna (p-value 0,000), tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai pretest-posttest antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Hal ini berarti tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Kesimpulannya bahwa pelatihan pada kader menggunakan media cetak dan video dengan narasumber pakar filariasis merupakan salah satu strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan cakupan pengobatan POMP filariasis. Efforts to deal with nutrition problems include increasing nutritional knowledge in children, especially school-age children. Through their freedom of imagination, children often use puppet media as a reference that is important and fun, so that in this case the role of the media is very important in increasing children’s knowledge. This research is a pre-experiment. one group pre-post test. Data analysis in this study used the Paired Sample T-test. The subjects of this study were 35 students of public elementary school 1 Rasah Jaya, Kubu Raya Regency. Direct interview chose the data collection technique for filling out the questionnaire, to see the differences in knowledge before and after. Based on the results of the statistical test scores of knowledge before and after the intervention of 35 respondents, the p-value is 0.000 <0.05, which shows that there is a significant difference between the knowledge scores before and after the study.

One of the activities in Posyandu cadres are doing the weighing babies or toddlers. Weight infant or toddler then plotted on Towards Health Card (KMS) to determine if the infant or toddler is growing. Weighing and plotting activities in this KMS is one form of activity assess nutritional status.The important role of Posyandu as the frontline in service to the community, especially toddlers through Posyandu.Already, there is a disc Nutritionlat practical and easy to know the nutritional status and health of children and adults. Can also be used for nutrition education and health in Posyandu, health centers, hospitals or other medical facilities. Category of nutritional status on nutritional disc apparatus 3 that there is an upper limit, ideal, and the lower limit so that in determining the nutritional status determines only normal or not and on disc nutrition there is no way the use of tools. The tObjective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of nutritional modification discs as media circles nutritional status to improve the skills of cadres in determining nutritional status. This type of research is an experiment that was conducted to determine the increase in the skills of cadres before and after using the design of one group pre-test - post-test design. This draft was no comparison group (controls). Take measurements before (pre-test) with anthropometric standard books and do another measurement (post-test) with the media circle nutritional status. Based on the test results Wilcoxcon significant differences between the skillsbefore using the circle tool nutritional status and after using the circle tool nutritional status,with the result of a significant degree (0.000 <0.05) with the difference that a score of 10.67 points. The conclusion of this empirically is There is a significant difference in the improvement of the skills of cadres before and after the study to determine the nutritional status of children. Suggestions that there needs to be more research on the effectiveness of the media in terms of the size of the circle of the status of writing, colors and shapes on the nutritional status of the circle, so that it can be used by volunteers to determine the nutritional status

The current study aimed at investigating the effect of teaching using the Internet Web on the first grade secondary students’ achievement in Physics and their attitudes towards it. The experimental method was employed by using the two-group pre-post quasi-experimental design to answer the aforementioned questions. The sample consisted of (82) first grade secondary students enrolled in two sections which were randomly selected from all first grade secondary sections at Abhor educational complex in Jeddah province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using the cluster random sampling technique, where the two sections were randomly assigned into the two groups. The students were distributed evenly by the two groups such as (41) students in each group, where the students in the experimental group were taught using the Internet, while the students in the control group were taught using the traditional method. For the purposes of data collection, two equivalent forms of an achievement test have been developed in order to measure the first three levels (remembering, understanding, and application) of the cognitive domain in the “movement representation” unit within the physics curriculum being taught to the first grade secondary school students in the academic year 2013/2014 H in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Each form consisted of (35) multiple-choice questions with four alternatives. On the other hand, a pre-developed valid and reliable attitude scale towards physics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was used. The results of the study revealed a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05) between the achievement post-test mean scores of the experimental and control groups for the favor of the experimental group who was taught using the educational site, which was designed and set up on the Internet Web. Similarly, the results revealed a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05) between the attitudes towards Physics post-test mean scores of both groups in favor of the experimental group. In light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommends conducting further studies on the benefits of using the Internet Web in the educational process in general and in distance learning in particular.

Background: Primipara is a client who really needs discharge planning to support her baby care skills independently at home after returning from the hospital. Discharge planning is one of the important elements in nursing services to improve client skills independently to perform care after discharge.Objectives: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of discharge planning according to the standards of maternal skills in caring for newborns.Methods: The research design was a quasi experimental study with a pre and post-test design with a control group. This research was conducted at a hospital in Banyuwangi. The research sample was 30 spontaneous primiparous patients, then divided into two groups, namely the experimental group given discharge planning according to the standard n=15 and the control group given conventional discharge planning treatment n=15. Sampling using Consecutive Sampling and data collection using the observation sheet of maternal skills about baby care. Data analyzed using paired T test and unpaired T test.Results: The results showed that the skills of mothers in caring for newborns in the experimental group had a higher value than the control group with the difference in the skills of caring for the umbilical cord of 3.60, changing diapers by 3.33 and breastfeeding by 6.60. Further analysis obtained p value=0.000 (p> 0.05), which means that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups.Conclusion: Discharge planning in accordance with standards can improve the skills of mothers in caring for their babies. Discharge planning in accordance with the standards should be implemented in the hospital, because discharge planning is one of the important elements in nursing services which aims to make clients independent after discharge from the hospital. Keywords: discharge planning, mother’s skill, caring, newborns

Internet based – learning media is one of the learning sources that can be used to replace the text book. This research was aimed to find out the difference of learning result of students who utilized internet based – learning media as the sources of learning compare to the students who used conventional learning method on the topic of blood circulatory system. An experimental research had been conducted at SMAN 1 Woyla in the school year of 2014/2015. The population of this research was 60 students, which were 30 students of XII IPA 1 and 30 students of XII IPA 2 class. The entire population was chosen as the samples of the research which were 30 students for experimental class and 30 students for control class. The data were collected by using pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using independent sample t-tes or Mann Whitney test. The results showed that: (1) the N-Gain mean value of experimental class was 60 which was categorized as medium and for the control was 20 which was categorized as low, (2) the learning result was significantly different between the students who used internet based – learning media and the students who were taught conventionally on the topic of blood circulatory system with P value of 0,000 < 0,05. It can be summarized that there was a significant difference of learning result of students who used internet based – learning media with the students who used conventional learning method especially on the topic of blood circulatory system.
