The objective of the research is to determine the influence of the Application of the Geogebra Program in the Learning of Geometry in students of 4th grade of High school N° 86620 Santa Fe de Tumpa - Yungay, 2018. The research is cross-sectional experimental type, quantitative method and pre-experimental design. Two instruments were applied: an entrance exam and an exit exam, to a population sample of 22 students from the 4th grade of High school N° 86620 Santa Fe de Tumpa. The results were analyzed after applying the Geogebra program to the single study group. It was found that there is a highly significant influence (p = 0.00001 <0.05) of the Application of the Geogebra program in the Learning of geometry course in High school 4th grade students. The verification of the hypothesis was done by applying the t-student.

The present research focused on identifying the influence of cognitive processes in the creative lateral thinking of high school students. The work was developed under the positivist paradigm; it was classified as basic, of explanatory level, with quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross-sectional. The sample, calculated through probabilistic sampling, consisted of 221 students. Two data collection instruments were used: the cognitive processes questionnaire and the lateral thinking questionnaire, which were subjected to content validity by expert judgment and reliability and internal consistency analysis by Cronbach's alpha, reaching values of 0.908 and 0.802, respectively. The analysis of verification by Spearman's rho obtained was 0.762, which determined the significant influence between cognitive processes and lateral thinking. It was concluded that, if procedures and actions that lead to the acquisition of knowledge in a constructive way and by discovery are practiced, creative and perceptive lateral thinking would be developed; then the individual would exhibit imagination and creative behaviors.

Abstract Background Nomophobia, short for “no mobile phone phobia”, is defined as having an involuntary and unreasonable fear when the mobile device is unreachable or uncommunicable. Students who are going through the puberty are vulnerable to nomophobia. In the study we aimed to evaluate nomophobia and loneliness levels of high school students. Methods This cross - sectional study was conducted in the first academic semester of 2018 and 850 high school students in Eskisehir constituted the study group. To evaluate the nomophobia levels of the students, Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) and to evaluate the loneliness levels, UCLA Loneliness Scale was used. The questionnaire prepared in accordance with the literature was filled out by the students under the observation of the researchers. Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis, Spearman Correlation analyses and Multiple Linear Regression was used. P values less than 0.05 was accepted as statistically significant. Results In the study group, 429 (50.5%) were female and 421 (49.5%) were male and their ages ranged from 13 to 19, the mean age (SD) was 15.66 (1.18) years. The mean score (SD) obtained from NMP-Q was 54.92 (14.87) while the mean score (SD) obtained from UCLA loneliness scale was 13.95 (4.60). Advanced analysis showed that; in females, in those who first used smartphone before the age of 13 and in those who have more friends on social medias than in real life nomophobia levels were higher. It was also found that the students' nomophobia levels increase with the the number of times they check their phones and the amount of time they spent on their smart phones (F = 28.424, P &lt; 0.001, R²=0.213). There was a positive weak correlation between nomophobia and loneliness levels (r = 0.353, p = 0.001). Conclusions It was concluded that nomophobia is an important public health issue among adolescents. Factors that can be changed, such as phone use habits and loneliness was important determinants for nomophobia. Key messages Nomophobia may affect the adolescents’ daily but most importantly school life negatively. It might be helpful to plan education programs to raise awareness among the students, parents and teachers for reducing the nomophobia.

This research aims to determine how leases affect sustainable growth in horizontal and vertical signage companies of Lima-Peru, 2021.The type of research used is applied, non-experimental design - cross-sectional and explanatory level, using the quantitative method. The population comprises 25 companies, and the sample is 30 accounting workers who work in signaling companies. In addition, the technique and instrument for data collection was: survey and questionnaire of 18 polytomous questions and validated by experts from the Cesar Vallejo University and Cronbach's Alpha. Likewise, the hypotheses raised have been validated using the Chi-square, which determined the effect between the variables investigated. At the end of this research, it was concluded that leasing affects the sustainable growth in the horizontal and vertical signaling companies of Lima-Peru, 2021 since it is a very effective financing method for this category of companies and thus achieves growth at the pace of years.

AbstrakUjian Nasional merupakan keharusan yang harus dilakukan peserta didik sebagai syarat kelulusan sehingga menjadikan berbagai reaksi pada siswa salah satunya adalah ansietas. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan karakteristik dengan tingkat ansieas pada siswa-siswi SMA. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif menggunakan desain Study Deskripsi Korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan Spearman Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara usia dengan tingkat ansietas dan ada hubungan ntara jenis kelamin dengan tingkat ansietas. Perlu upaya untuk mengatasi ansietas agar siswa dapat menjalankan ujian nasional dengan lancar Kata Kunci: ansietas, siswa-siswi, SMA AbstractNational Examination is a necessity that must be done by students as a graduation requirement so as to make various reactions to students one of which is anxiety. The study aims to determine the relationship characteristic with ansieas level at high school students. The study used a quantitative method using the design of Study Description Correlation with the Cross Sectional approach. A sample of 60 people. Data were analyzed using Spearman Correlation. The results showed no relationship between age and level of anxiety and there was a relationship between sex and anxiety levels. The objective of the research was based on analyzing active pedagogy and its impact on the emotional competencies of high school students in the province of Manabí. It was of a cross-sectional correlational descriptive type with a non-experimental design; the population consisted of 84 high school students. The active pedagogy (PA) is positively correlated in 0.058 with the emotional competences (CE), being necessary to deepen by the teachers. When the research variables are positively related, a favorable perception is conceived by the students about the performance of the teachers in order to promote a comprehensive education where the emotional and academic are combined, promoting a person capable of addressing the different challenges to which he faces due to an assertive management of his behavior.

This research was aimed to investigate the used of storytelling in teaching narrative text in junior high school. This research employed a quantitative method with a true experimental design. The sample of this research was the 9th grade students at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Batang-Batang. There were 42 students involved in this research; 21 of them belonged to experimental class and 21 were belonged to control class. Therefore the speaking test and questionnaire were implemented as the research instrument in order to collect the data. The test was conducted twice, first test was pretest and the second was posttest. The result of this research indicated that teaching narrative text by using story telling method was effective

Abstract. This study investigated the effects of politicians’ nonparticipatory and participatory Facebook posts on young people’s political efficacy – a key determinant of political participation. We employed an experimental design, using a sample of N = 125 high school students (15–20 years). Participants either saw a Facebook profile with no posts (control condition), nonparticipatory posts, or participatory posts. While nonparticipatory posts did not affect participants’ political efficacy, participatory posts exerted distinct effects. For those high in trait evaluations of the politician presented in the stimulus material or low in political cynicism, we found significant positive effects on external and collective efficacy. By contrast, for those low in trait evaluations or high in cynicism, we found significant negative effects on external and collective efficacy. We did not find any effects on internal efficacy. The importance of content-specific factors and individual predispositions in assessing the influence of social media use on participation is discussed.

Kemandirian bukanlah keterampilan yang muncul secara tiba-tiba tetapi perlu diajarkan dan dilatih pada anak agar tidak menghambat tugas- tugas perkembangan anak selanjutnya. Terutama pada anak yang mengalami retardasi mental akan sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan  dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemandirian anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua siswa kelas IV-VI di SLB Negeri Semarang yang berjumlah 64 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Dukungan keluarga pada anak retardasi mental sebagian besar adalah mendukung yaitu sebanyak 53,1%, kemandirian anak retardasi mental sebagian besar adalah kurang mandiri yaitu sebanyak 53,1%. Hasil uji statistik menemukan ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kemandirian anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Semarang, dengan p value sebesar 0,000.   Kata kunci : dukungan keluarga, kemandirian anak retardasi mental THE CORRELATION BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND THE LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE OF MENTALLY RETARDED CHILDREN   ABSTRACT Independence is not a skill that emerges suddenly but needs to be taught and trained in children so as not to inhibit the tasks of further child development. Especially for children who are mentally retarded, they will need support from the family. Research objectives to find out the correlation between family support and the level of independence of mentally retarded children in extraordinary school State of Semarang. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all parents of students in class IV-VI in Semarang State SLB, amounting to 64 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Family support for mentally retarded children was mostly supportive, as much as 53.1%, the independence of most mentally retarded children was less independent, which was as much as 53.1%. The results of statistical tests found that there was a correlation between family support and the independence of mentally retarded children in Semarang State SLB, with a p value of 0,000.   Keywords: family support, independence of mentally retarded children

In Vietnam, since 2015, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam has decided to abolish university entrance exams and advocates the use of high school graduation exam results of candidates for admission to go to universities. The 2015 and 2016 exam questions for the Math exam are the essay questions. From 2017 up to now, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam has applied the form of multiple-choice exams for Mathematics in the high school graduation exam. There are many mixed opinions about the impact of this form of examination and admission on the quality of university students. In particular, the switch from the form of essay examination to multiple-choice exams led the entire Vietnam Mathematical Association at that time to send recommendations on continuing to maintain the form of essay examination for mathematics. The purposes of this article are analysis and evaluation the effects of relevant factors on the academic performance of advanced math students of university students, and offer solutions to optimize university entrance exam. The data set was provided by Training Management Department and Training Quality Control and Testing Laboratory of the University of Finance – Marketing. This dataset includes information about math high school graduation test scores, learning process scores (scores assessed by direct instructors), and advanced math course end test scores of 2834 students in courses from 2015 to 2019. Linear and non-linear regression machine learning models were used to solve the tasks given in this article. An analysis of the data was conducted to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the change in university enrollment of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training. Tools from the Python libraries have been supported and used effectively in the process of solving problems. Through building and surveying the model, there are suggestions and solutions to problems in enrollment and input quality assurance. Specifically, in the preparation of entrance exams, the entrance exam questions should not exceed 61-66 % of multiple choice questions.
