<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris"><em>This study aims to determine the extent to which the online lecture method due to the pandemic condition is effective in learning. The sample in this study was the Fath Sukawangi Islamic boarding school, Bogor, with a total of 70 respondents. The technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative through observation, interviews, direct field observations, and documentation. This study found two supporting factors, firstly, the availability of massive and easy-to-reach online facilities, both in the form of networks and the necessary tools such as computers and mobile phones. Second, the availability of information facilities on how to use and operate these facilities, either through the website or technical instructions distributed through many media, including Youtube. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the lecture method in learning is still very strong in influence. This can be seen from the behavior of students who get better after participating in learning even though they are only listening to lectures online.</em></p><p class="15cKeywordsBInggris"> </p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode ceramah yang dilakukan secara <em>online</em> karena kondisi pandemik termasuk efektif dalam pembelajaran. Sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pesantren Fath Sukawangi Bogor, dengan total responden 70 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, peninjauan langsung ke lapangan dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menemukan dua faktor penunjang, pertama tersedianya fasilitas <em>online</em> secara masif dan mudah dijangkau, baik berupa jaringan maupun alat-alat yang dibutuhkan seperti komputer dan handphone. Kedua, tersedianya sarana informasi mengenai cara-cara menggunakan dan mengoperasikan fasilitas tersebut, baik melalui website atau petunjuk-petunjuk teknis yang disebarkan melalui banyak media di antaranya Youtube. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran masih sangat kuat pengaruhnya. Hal ini tampak dari perilaku peserta didik yang menjadi lebih baik setelah mengikuti pembelajaran sekalipun hanya menyimak ceramah melalui <em>online</em>.</p>

Pesantren is Islamic education institution that still be needed by the Ummah. The study of kitab kuning is an important element of it, and this generally tends to be stagnant, for various reasons. Therefore the study of the use of kitab kuning in pesantren is urgent. This research highlights the reality of kitab kuning study in boarding school, mainly Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Ternate. This is qualitative research in which the data collection techniques are interview, observation and study of documents and literature. The analysis of the data is qualitative description. The result of this research shows that Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Ternate, which was established in 1994, includes a combination between Islamic boarding school system and formal education units in the form of schools and madrasas. Basically the santri are lodged. The boarding school students are junior and senior high school students, both male and female. The male and female campuses are separated by a distance of about 1 km. They are all participated in tahfidz Alquran and ta’līm diniyyah. The books studied in this boarding school are limited to 5 books that outlined by the Central Executive, regarding Aqidah, Fikih, Tafsir, Sirah and Arabic. The study of these books uses lecture method and the santris only gather and heed without having the book.

ABSTRACT This study examines strategies to increase the collection of waqf through Islamic Da'wah activities. This is important to do, considering the Baitul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School has a large potential for waqf while the ongoing collection of waqf has not yet reached the expected target. This study aims to find a solution in the form of a strategy to increase the collection of waqf by utilizing da'wah activities as a way of socialization and promotion. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, while the data sources are obtained directly in the field (field research). The research approach uses case studies with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation studies and field observations. The results of this study recommend strategies for increasing the collection of waqf through: (i) Optimizing the role of dai as a marketing of waqf. (ii) fulltime managing human resources. (iii) Improvement of Facilities and Infrastructure. (iv) Creating a creative collection program. (v) Standardization of Data Management. (vi) Improvement of convenience services and activity reports.Keywords: Collection, Waqf, Da'wah and Islamic boarding schools.   ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf melalui kegiatan Dakwah Islam. Hal ini penting dilakukan, mengingat Pesantren Baitul Hidayah memiliki potensi wakaf yang cukup besar sementara penghimpunan wakaf yang berjalan belum mencapai target yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan solusi berupa strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan-kegiatan dakwah sebagai jalan sosialisasi dan promosi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, adapun sumber data diperoleh langsung di lapangan (field research). Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf melalui : (i) Optimalisasi peran dai sebagai marketing wakaf. (ii) SDM pengelola fulltime. (iii) Peningkatan Sarana dan Prasarana. (iv) Menciptakan Program penghimpunan yang kreatif. (v) Standarisasi Pengelolaan Data. (vi) Peningkatan layanan kemudahan dan laporan kegiatan.Kata Kunci: Penghimpunan, Wakaf, Dakwah dan Pesantren.

Research of strategy for water use management at The Imam An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in supporting water conservation in Kulim Village, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City has been completed. The purpose of this research is to see the behavior of water use, the policy of the management of the boarding school, to analyze the economic impact due to the behavior of water use and to design a water use management strategy in the Imam An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in supporting water conservation. To find out the behavior and policy was carried out through interviews and field observations. The economic impact is calculated by comparing the volume of water used against the water use standard. The resulting strategy is compiled using a SWOT analysis. The behavior of the santri in wasting water is still quite high (55%) and must be supported by a policy from the management of Islamic Boarding School. The economic potential of water use behavior can be reduce of PLN payment costs up to 65% of the total PLN cost of Rp. 3.6 million per month. With the SWOT analysis, 9 strategies can be implemented in water use management to support water conservation.

This study examined the effects of the mobile phones on high school students’ academic performance in Religious Education. The aim of the study was to test the efficiency using of mobile phones against the lecture method. Seventy-two participants (31 females and 41 males), in the Kingdom of Eswatini, participated in this quasi-experimental study. Purposive sampling was used to select participants who were randomly assigned to two groups (control and experimental). The control group was taught the topics, “The birth of the church and its spread” using a lecture method, whereas the experimental group was taught the same topic using mobile phones. The independent t-test and the dependent t-test were used to analyse data. The independent variable used was “teaching method,” with two levels: lecture versus mobile phones. The dependent variable was the participants’ scores derived from the pre-test and post-test. The independent t-test and the dependent t-test were used to analyze data. The results revealed that there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group. The study concluded that the use of mobile phones improved students’ academic performance in Religious Education, and thus the integration use of mobile phones in the teaching of Religious Education is recommended in order to improve performance.

Abstract: One source that supports the success of Islamic boarding schools in carrying out development is finance, because the financial sector is a support in the management of education. For this reason, good and transparent financial management is needed, so that the weaknesses and shortcomings of the pesantren can be identified by other interested parties. Islamic boarding school financial reports only present reports of cash receipts and cash disbursements, which are not in accordance with the classification items in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards because the foundation does not recognize accounting standards used as financial reporting guidelines for non-profit entities. Methods of community service activities This method uses lectures or outreach, discussion and learning that are practiced by participants and resource persons. The lecture method is used to convey general knowledge about Islamic boarding school financial reports, SAK ETAP, SAK 45 and SAK Syariah accompanied by a question-and-answer session. The learning method is used to transfer knowledge or skills and value systems owned by resource persons to community members Abstrak: Salah satu sumber yang mendukung keberhasilan pondok pesantren dalam melaksanakan pembangunan adalah keuangan, karena sektor keuangan merupakan penunjang dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Untuk itu diperlukan pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dan transparan, agar kelemahan dan kekurangan para pesantren dapat diketahui oleh pihak lain yang berkepentingan. Laporan keuangan pondok pesantren hanya menyajikan laporan penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas yang tidak sesuai dengan klasifikasi item sesuai dengan standar akuntansi keuangan yang berlaku karena yayasan tidak mengenal standar akuntansi yang digunakan sebagai pedoman pelaporan keuangan untuk organisasi nirlaba. entitas. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Metode ini menggunakan ceramah atau sosialisasi, diskusi dan pembelajaran yang dipraktikkan oleh peserta dan narasumber. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan umum tentang laporan keuangan pondok pesantren, SAK ETAP, SAK 45 dan SAK Syariah disertai dengan sesi tanya jawab. Metode pembelajaran digunakan untuk mentransfer pengetahuan atau keterampilan dan sistem nilai yang dimiliki oleh narasumber kepada anggota masyarakat.

This research discusses the personality development with islamic boarding school based that carried out in the Class IIA Padang Correctional Institution. The goal is to make prisoners not only as religious people but also human beings who understand and practice their religious rules. The essence produced from this guidance is a behavior improvement factor that makes prisoners become prisoners who are not physically healthy but also spiritually healthy where the prisoner can improve and reform their actions and behavior so that they have a healthy personality, commendable character and are responsible for carrying out their actions. life. This research uses qualitative research methods with interview data techniques, observation and literature research. The results showed that there was a clear islamic boarding school based coaching organizational structure, had internal and external teaching staff who ran the program in accordance with technical instructions and implementers and had learning materials such as Ummul Qur'an and fiqih. In its application, prisoners will participate in this program starting from Monday-Saturday for 3 hours a day provided that the prisoners have met the predetermined requirements. The implementation of islamic boarding school based personality development has run quite well in terms of three aspects, namely organization, interpretation and application.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of Islamic boarding schools in shaping the character of their students. In this study, the author uses data collection techniques through case studies with purposive interview methods and field observations, thus this research is in the form of qualitative which is supported by books, magazines, and other sources as references that are used in order to solve the problem. The results of the study can be concluded that the role of the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School with all aspects, elements and activities carried out routinely and continuously with supervision carried out 24 hours is very large and significant in shaping the character of students.

Kasus tuberkulosis masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius baik global maupun lokal. Penanggulangan tuberkulosis telah diatur dalam peraturan menteri kesehatan nomor 67 tahun 2016 diantaranya pengendalian risiko salah satunya promosi kesehatan untuk pencegahan. Pesantren sabilunnajat ciamis belum pernah dilakukan program penyuluhan kesehatan dan sebagai dukungan program kementerian kesehatan maka dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan kesehatan untuk pencegahan tuberkulosis. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab dengan sasaran para santri di Pondok Pesantren Sabilunnajat Ciamis. Pengabdian masyarakat ini diselenggarakan pada tanggal 21 hingga 23 Februari 2020. Sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan santri diberikan pre test dan post test. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan pencegahan penyakit tuberkulosis di Pondok Pesantren Sabilunnajat. Kegiatan lainnya yang dilakukan yaitu pengobatan gratis untuk santri. Disarankan kepada pihak sabilunnajat agar selalu menjaga kesehatan dan menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat kepada para santri.---Tuberculosis is still a serious health problem both globally and locally. Tuberculosis prevention has been regulated in the Minister of Health Regulation number 67 of 2016 including risk control, one of which is health promotion for prevention. The pesantren sabilunnajat ciamis has never done a health education program and as a support of the ministry of health program, community service is carried out in the  form of health education for  tuberculosis  prevention. The method of community  service  is carried out by the lecture method followed by a question and answer session targeting the students at the  Sabilunnajat  Ciamis  Islamic  Boarding  School.  This  community  service  was  held  from  21  to  23 February  2020.  Before  and  after  counseling  students  were  given  pre-test  and  post-test.  The  results show that there are differences in the level of knowledge between before and after health education on tuberculosis prevention at Sabilunnajat Islamic Boarding School. Other activities undertaken are free medical treatment for students. It is recommended to the sabilunnajat to always maintain health and apply clean and healthy living behaviors to the students.

The uptake of small screen technology by adolescents is widespread, particularly in industrial nations. Whether the same is true for Australian Aboriginal youth is less clear as there is a dearth of research in this regard. Therefore, in this exploratory study the use of small screen technology by Indigenous students was examined. Twenty-four Indigenous adolescents (mean age 16.4 years) attending a boarding school in a remote region of Western Australia participated in individual and in-depth structured interviews that queried their use of: (1) television, (2) video games, (3) computers, (4) the internet, and (5) mobile phones. The results showed that mobile phones were the most frequently used and the most popular (i.e., they were nominated as first choice in a hypothetical scenario), followed by the internet, whereas television, video games and computers were used less often. It did appear that mobile phones were used by participating Aboriginal adolescents in ways similar to non-Indigenous adolescents (e.g., not only to make phone calls, but also to send text messages and access the internet). However, their mobile phone use did reflect differences based on their cultural values and identity, and also reflected their physical distance from their family (i.e., because of their enrolment at a boarding school). This study supports anecdotal evidence of a rapid uptake of mobile phones by Indigenous adolescents. It also suggests that as the small screen technology of choice, they have the potential to be utilised for educational opportunities.
