The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of therapeutic communication to the patient's level of anxiety prior to regional anesthesia. The type of research is the pre-experimental design using one-group pretest-posttest. Sampling techniques accidental sampling of 30 samples. Data analysis was performed using Univariate and Bivariate analysis with paired t-test test on a5%. The results showed that there were differences in the mean levels of anxiety before and after therapeutic communication and there is a significant decrease in the mean levels of anxiety before and after therapeutic communication. In patients before surgery with regional anesthesia in the operating room RSUD.Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu (P = 0.000).

Hepatitis has become a health problem in the world. The hepatitis virus infected many people. According to the teacher of MTsN 02 Bondowoso more than 20 students have hepatitis A viral infection. The purpose of this research was to know the differences of students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study used pre-experimental (pre-post test design). This study used stratified random sampling technique, 127 students from 270 sample involved this research,and 143 students was excluded. We used questionnaires to collect data. The results showed that the mean value of the students 'knowledge about hepatitis A before counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 83.96 with the lowest value of 37.5 and the highest value was 100. The mean value of the students' knowledge about hepatitis A after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 93.21 with the lowest value waf 62.5 and the highest value was 100. Paired t test showed that t (-9.07) > t table (1.98), the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. There was a difference between students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study showed that routine counseling by healthcare provider was important to prevent hepatitis A infection.; Keywords: counseling, knowledge of students, hepatitis

Objective The purpose of this study was to compare the therapeutic effects of portable and stationary tractions on treatment outcomes in patients with mechanical neck disorders (MNDs). Methods Forty-one participants with MNDs were randomly assigned to either portable traction or stationary traction. Participants' pain level, activity limitation, disability, and neck range of motion were measured before and after 6 weeks of intervention. Inferential statistics for comparing the treatment outcome involved paired t-test and two-way analysis of variance at P < 0.05. Results The mean age of participants was 47.3 ± 10.5 years. After intervention, there were significant improvements in both groups. However, the portable traction group had significantly higher score on neck flexion than the stationary traction group at baseline (portable: 27.1 ± 6.0, stationary: 22.1 ± 6.8; P = 0.009) and after intervention ( F-ratio = 15.0; P = 0.001). Conclusion Inclusion of both portable and stationary tractions to usual physiotherapy provided comparable treatment outcomes in patients with MNDs.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the risk checks web application on the knowledge of mothers to detect high risk early in pregnancy. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with one group design without control. The results showed that the mean difference before and after the intervention was 13.00, with a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, the risk check web application can increase mothers' knowledge to detect high risk early in pregnancy.   Keywords: Web Application, High-Risk Pregnancy

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of self-talk and Imagery relaxation exercises on the concentration and accuracy of 3point shoot in basketball. The method used in this study was an experimental design with two groups pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were 12 young basketball athletes with 6 male and 6 female with purposive sampling, who were divided into two groups of experimental groups with match subject ordinal pairing (MSOP) based on the ranking of tembakan 3 angka accuracy. The instrument used is a modification of the AAHPRED basketball skill test speed spot shoot (3 point accuracy shot) and concentration grid. The data analysis technique used is  paired t test with significance level ? = 0.05. The results of this study showed (1) there is  a significant difference in the effect of exercise between self talk and Imagery relaxation exercises on concentration with each having an increase of 27.71% (self talk) and 10.97% (imagery relaxation), (2) there os significant differences  effect between self-talk and Imagery relaxation exercises in increase of  the accuracy of  tembakan 3 angka with each increase 38.61% (self talk) and 20.88% (imagery relaxation). Exercise using self talk has better benefits in increasing concentration and accuracy of tembakan 3 angka accuracy.Keyword :Self talk, imagery relaxation, concentration, tembakan 3 angka

This study aimed at investigating the effect of blended learning on the English-students’ speaking skills at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa Aceh Tamiang. Also, this study investigated students’ level differences of English-speaking skills of SMA Patra Nusa students. Twenty-five students of the eleventh-grade class were involved in this study. This study used a quasi-experimental with pre-experimental design. The instruments used in this study were observation and test (pretest and posttest). The results of data analysis showed that sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < α (0.05), it means reject H0, accepted Ha. Finding obtained of pretest 77,04 and posttest 88,95. In conclusion, the mean pretest and posttest scores differ significantly. In other words, blended learning positively affects students speaking skills used in the media google classroom at SMA N 2 Patranusa.

ABSTRAK Pengetahuan kebersihan diri saat menstruasi yang baik menjadikan perilaku remaja lebih baik. Hal ini dapat menghindarkan remaja dari berbagai penyakit reproduksi yang mungkin muncul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang kebersihan diri saat menstruasi di RT 01 RW1, Sruni, Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimental dengan Pre and post test without control yang menggunakan 22 sampel penelitian untuk menilai pengetahuan kebersihan diri saat menstruasi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pembelajaran video. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali pada saat sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan. Data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dianalisa menggunakan Uji Paired T-Test. Hasil yang diperoleh terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran video 4,27 dan rata-rata pengetahuan setelah dilakukan pembelajaran video7,13. Hasil uji statistik sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pembelajaran video pada remaja dengan menggunakan Paired T-Test diperolah hasil 0,00 yang berarti nilai p < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran video terhadap pengetahuan perawatan kebersihan diri saat menstruasi pada remaja RT01, RW1, Sruni, Boyolali.   Kata kunci: pembelajaran video, pengetahuan, kebersihan diri saat menstruasi       ABSTRACT Good self-hygiene knowledge during menstruation makes teenagers better in their behavior. It’s can prevent teenagers from various reproductive diseases that may arise. The present study aimed to improve adolescent knowledge about personal hygiene during menstruation. This was a quantitative study using a Quasi Experimental design and involved 22 respondents of teenagers of RT 01, RW1, Sruni, Boyolali to know their knowledge of personal hygiene during menstruation before and after giving of video learning. The data were collected twice before the treatment and after treatment. The data were analyzed using Paired T-Test. The results of analysis found there are significant differences in average knowledge before video learning 4.27 and average knowledge after learning video learning 7,13. The results of statistical test before and after video learning found a sig score of 0,00, and showed a p value of < 0.05. It was concluded that video learning variables has a significant influence on hygiene care knowledge during menstruation at adolescent RT 01, RW1, Sruni , Boyolali.   Keywords: video learning, knowledge, hygiene care during menstruation

Abstract Introduction: Expiratory flow increase is a maneuver of respiratory physical therapy that promotes flow direction to the upper airways however, when applied in newborns, it may result in changes of thoracoabdominal mobility. Objective: To evaluate the thoracoabdominal mobility by photogrammetry in newborns after expiratory flow increase technique. Methods: Experimental blind study performed with newborns in supine position on a support table with upper limbs flexed, abducted and externally rotated and hip flexed at 110°. Adhesive markers were allocated for geometric delimitation of the thoracoabdominal compartment and expiratory flow increase technique was performed for 5 minutes with the therapist’s hands on the thorax and abdomen. Newborns were filmed before and after the maneuver and the frames were analyzed in AutoCAD® software by a blinded investigator at the time of the procedure. The largest and the smallest thoracoabdominal area were expressed in cm2 and the mean values were compared between two moments (pre and post maneuver) by paired t test. Results: Twenty newborns with a mean age of 39 weeks were included. Before the maneuver, thoracoabdominal area was 56.1 cm2 during expiration and 59.7 cm2 during inspiration, and after the maneuver the value was 56.2 cm2 during expiration and 59.8 cm2 during inspiration, with no statistical difference between before and after (p = 0.97, p = 0.92, respectively). Conclusion: Results demonstrate that expiratory flow increase technique does not seem to change thoracoabdominal mobility of healthy newborns.

Background: The main objective was to take stock of practices on instrumental extractions at the maternity of Nabil Choucair Health Center.Methods: This was a prospective, descriptive study from 1 January 2005 to 31 April 2016. The collection was carried out through the data sheet completed on the basis of an analysis of files, the delivery register and the anaesthesia register of the operating room. The data was entered using the Sphinx software version 5 and the data analysis performed by Epi info version 3.5.Results: 240 instrumental extraction cases were compiled, and their frequency was 0.4%. The mean age of patients was 24.8 years. Obstetric vacuum was the most commonly used instrument (66.4%) and an episiotomy was performed in 73.6%. Maternal complications were dominated by simple perineal tears (6.2%).Conclusions: Instrumental extractions should be rehabilitated in our maternity facilities to combat the outbreak of the caesarean section. Instrumental extractions indications and techniques should be controlled to avoid complications

Lampit is one of the traditional means of cultivating rice fields, which functions to level the land for planting rice. The operation of lampit can increase the work pulse up to 50% above the resting pulse and is included in the category of moderate to heavy workloads. At the end of the operation of lampit, it may cause complaints, especially on the buttocks and back, which is caused by the small and hardness of the lampit rod. There was an improvement to the lampit seating design by adding foam pads and adjusting the pressure lever found on the lampit stem to overcome this problem. This research is an experimental study using the same subject design, selected 30 research subjects from farmers in Dusun Semaja Antosari Tabanan Bali. The workload is evaluated based on the work pulse measured using the ten pulses method. In addition, the pulse was measured before and after the improvement of the lampit design. The data compared were the mean values before and after improvement, which were analyzed using paired t test (α = 0.05). The result is a significant decrease in the work rate of 19.35% (p <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the improved design of the lampit can reduce the workload. Therefore, farmers should continue using and perfecting the improved lampit.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan isi cerita siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Campurejo. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis research and development (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV dan 26 siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Campurejo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji kelayakan dan uji keefektifan media. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan hasil 75% dan 90,6%. Hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan  = 13,790 > = 2,055 atau H0 ditolak sehingga buku cerita bergambar interaktif efektif digunakan. Hasil uji n-gain sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran diperoleh hasil 0,44 dengan kriteria sedang, sehingga efektif digunakan untuk media pembelajaran. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buku cerita bergambar interaktif dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada materi menemukan isi cerita. This research used a quantitative approach and development (R&D) method. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade teacher and 26 fourth grade students of  Campurejo 2 Elementary School. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis was done by viability test and media effectiveness test. The results by material expert and media expert got percentage of 75% and 90.6%. The results of the paired t-test showed = 13,790> = 2,055 or H0 was rejected so that interactive picture storybook was effectively used. The results of the n-gain test before and after the treatments was 0.44 in a moderate criteria, so it was effectively used as a learning media. The conclusion of this research was that interactive picture storybook was declared viable and effective to be used in Bahasa Indonesia learning to find the meaning of the story topic.
