Abstract Researches on the procurement of goods and services were carried out in any aspects, such as management, economics, law, finance and others. Many researches on procurement were conducted on various types of goods and services. However, it was a few researches discussed influencer procurement. Influencers are individuals with ability and skills to influence other parties due to their existing competencies. Many private companies hire influencers to promote their products or services. If it is seen from government side, there are many influencers used to disseminate policies. Influencers hiring requires procurement of goods and services. This study aims to evaluate influencer procurement in government work units. The research method was juridical empirical using primary and secondary data. Primary data came from interviews which were conducted with informants regarding the theme of influencer procurement to obtain field conditions. Secondary data came from legal materials in the form of statutory regulations and literature searches, and they were research results, news, and other secondary sources. The results showed that influencers were hired because of their wider reach with a large number of followers. The procurement of influencers was included in the category of procurement of goods which was specific to goods / other services / consulting services which were exempted, they were in the procurement of goods and services whose implementation was in established business practices. Abstrak Penelitian mengenai pengadaan barang dan jasa dilakukan pada banyak aspek, misalnya manajemen, ekonomi, hukum, keuangan dan sebagainya. Penelitian tentang pengadaan juga banyak dilakukan pada beragam jenis barang dan jasa. Namun sangat sedikit yang membahas pengadaan influencer. Influencer merupakan individu dengan kemampuan dan keterampilan untuk memengaruhi pihak lain disebabkan kompetensi yang ada padanya. Selama ini influencer banyak dimanfaatkan oleh perusahaan swasta untuk memasarkan produk atau jasanya.  Dari sisi pemerintah sendiri, mulai banyak penggunaan influencer untuk menyebarluaskan kebijakan. Penggunaan influencer memerlukan kegiatan pengadaan barang dan jasa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengadaan influencer pada satuan kerja pemerintah. Metode penelitian adalah yuridis empiris menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer berasal dari wawancara yang dilakukan kepada informan terkait tema pengadaan influencer untuk mendapatkan kondisi lapangan. Data sekunder berasal dari bahan hukum berupa peraturan perundang-undangan dan penelusuran kepustakaan yaitu hasil penelitian, berita maupun sumber sekunder lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa influencer digunakan karena jangkauannya yang lebih luas dengan jumlah pengikut yang banyak. Pengadaan influencer masuk pada kategori pengadaan barang bersifat khusus terhadap barang/jasa lainnya/ jasa konsultansi yang dikecualikan yaitu pada pengadaan barang dan jasa yang pelaksanaannya berada pada praktik bisnis yang mapan.

This study aims to determine the determinants of budget absorption at Jember University. Determinants of budget absorption include planning, budget execution, human resources, procurement of goods and services and coordination with other sectors or agencies. This study uses the positivism paradigm with a quantitative approach to test hypotheses, so the data analysis in this study uses hypothesis testing. The study was conducted at the University of Jember. Sources of data in this study are primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires disebearkan to BPP Work Units, Planning Staff, and Finance Staff at the Head Office of Jember University. While the secondary data in this study is in the form of Jember University Financial Statements. The research sample was obtained using purposive sampling with a total of 63 people. The results showed that coordination with other sectors or agencies was an aspect that had a positive effect on budget absorption at Jember University.

Absrtact This study investigated the influence of business environment efficiency on competitiveness of locally manufactured goods by Autosterile East Africa, Kenya. This study used case study design. This study sampled 69 respondents, including 8 top level employees, 22 middle level employees and 39 lower level employees in Autosterile East Africa. Census sampling was used to select the respondents. Secondary data was obtained from the Autosterile East Africa publications that touches on determinants of competitiveness. Questionnaires used in the survey formed the primary data and was analyzed by use of Statistical Packages for Social Science version 23. Linear regression analysis was done to test the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The study findings led to the conclusion that business environment efficiency have a positive relationship with competitiveness of locally manufactured goods. The findings revealed that business environment efficiency is significant determinant of competitiveness of locally manufactured goods. It was found out that the demand for goods and services and political stability influences competition of goods and services. The regulations dictate the competition among companies and supply of goods and services controls a firm's competitive advantage. Nepal has been a home to diversified settlement in terms of ethnicity, religion, dialect and culture since its outset in civilization. It also lies between two great military and economic giants of Asia – India and China – that are hostile to each other. While these bring abundant opportunities for Nepal, it possesses several internal and external security threats. Nepal suffers from cyber-attack, environmental degradation, pandemic, ethnic, racial or religious conflicts, inequality and poverty, extremism, human trafficking, corruption, migration and trans-boundary crime. In addition, Nepal also faces several security threats, traditional and non–traditional, including terrorism and insurgency. These threats possess serious implications on peace and security of Nepal and the South Asian region. There is a need of serious study about the major internal and external security challenges that Nepal faces in recent decades. This study aims at examining some of the major security challenges, explore the factors behind it, and attempt to suggest few policy recommendations to the government of Nepal to deal with them. The study is conducted by reviewing the primary and secondary sources of data. The primary data includes documents of the government agencies, press release, joint statement and organizational reports. It also includes the interviews with security experts, bureaucrats, policy makers and academicians. Similarly, secondary data includes books, news reports, academic journals, seminars report and reports of research institutes and think tanks. The study highlights that Nepal should prepare itself to meet with the emerging internal and external security challenges what have emerged in recent times. With the rise of India and China, two adversarial powers in the region, Nepal possess extreme challenges in days to come. Similarly, hardly any countries of the world had prepared itself to deal with recent pandemic like COVID-19 that has shattered even the most powerful countries of the world. Taking lessons from these, it is time for Nepal to learn and prepare to mitigate the challenges.

Most of the obstacles or problems that are most often experienced by householdcraft craftsmen are in terms of marketing or marketing management. Where the marketingthey do is still very traditional. In a sense, they trade manually i.e. go to the market and offertheir products to customers directly. E-commerce (Electronic Commerce) or in IndonesianElectronic Commerce is the activity of distributing, selling, purchasing, marketing products(goods and services), by utilizing telecommunications networks such as the internet,television, or other computer networks. The purpose of this research is to solve variousproblems in business which include services, product costs, and business strategies. Thiswhole system is used in order toanalyze other information systems on the implementation ofan organization's operational activities.The case study used in this research is a market expansion approach using targetmarketing opportunity analysis, system model design, customer interface facilities, marketcommunication and implementation design. The research instrument used interview andobservation techniques as well as literature study. Sampling using purposive samplingtechnique. The data of this study were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Thedesign of the application is to use the Waterfall approach. This approach is a classic modeland is systematic so that it is easy to understand because all the processes work sequentiallyin the stages of building a software.The results of this study were carried out with several research methods, namelythe Black Box method and User Acceptance. Black Box testing is a test with the system onlyobserving the results of execution through test data and checking the functionality of thesoftware, while the User Acceptance method is a testing process carried out by users which isintended to produce documents that will be used as evidence that the software or softwareused and developed has been accepted. by the user.

This study aims to identify and describe the results of the feasibility analysis of the contents of the Islamic Religious Education Smart LKS content in terms of the suitability of the material description with KI/KD, the accuracy of the material, and the content of supporting learning materials. The type of research used is library research. Literature research is research based on literature searches related to the problems to be discussed. The method used is descriptive analysis method. The primary data sources in this study were obtained from the Smart LKS for Islamic Religious Education with Character, while the secondary data were obtained from books, journals, articles, laws and regulations, and so on. All data will be collected, analyzed, interpreted as well as by interpreting the object under study. The results showed that the suitability of the description of the material with KI-KD obtained a percentage of 65%, while in terms of the accuracy of the material it obtained a percentage of 72%, and in terms of supporting learning materials it obtained a percentage of 73.2%. When viewed as a whole, the percentage of sub-components is 70%, which shows that the Smart LKS for Islamic Religious Education is worthy of being used as a companion book for learning in elementary schools

Technological advances have helped in the discovery of the latest medicines, this has further strengthened healthcare providers. However, this is not the case with consumers (patients). Consumers are less aware of their rights as users of goods and services so that which ones are good and which are bad, and which are really needed, consumers leave completely to competent health workers. This study aims to explain the legal protection of drug consumers for pharmaceutical services and to explain the liability of pharmaceutical companies regarding the losses suffered by drug consumers. This research used empirical law. Primary data sources were obtained by conducting field research with interview techniques and secondary data obtained by library research consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. The results showed that the legal protection of drug consumers in pharmaceutical services, which contains the rights and obligations of consumers as well as the rights and obligations of pharmaceutical companies as business actors. In principle, consumer legal protection is regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, in practice in pharmacies, legal protection for drug consumers is in accordance with applicable regulations and has been effective and conducive, then the responsibility of pharmaceutical companies for consumer losses drugs have provided compensation for material and immaterial damages when consumers are harmed.

Budget and budget absorption are very important in the sustainability of a budgeting system at state universities. Budget absorption is used as an indicator of performance measurement in a university. The opinion of budget managers is an important factor in efforts to optimize the budget. Therefore, research on the perception of budget managers on the determinants of budget acceptance in state university is very important, especially for new state universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Baru/PTNB), including University of Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVYK). The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect budget absorption at UPNVYK. The variables are budgeting plan, budgeting management, human resource, procurement of goods dan services (Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa, PBJ), bureaucratic environment, monitoring and evaluation systems, and organizational commitment. This research is expected to formulate recommendations about budget policymaking and its implementation in UPNVYK management in particular and new state universities in general. It is hoped the research will become one of the policy making materials for UPNVYK management on budget implementation from the perception aspect and point of view of managers of the procurement of goods/services.The population of this research is financial management employees in all work units at UPNVYK which consists of 15 work units. The sample of the population is people who have certain positions related to the budget and management of the procurement of goods/services. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research data is primary data and secondary data. Secondary data comes from work units and rector regulations at UPNVYK. Primary data using a closed or open questionnaire on the perception of financial management employees at UPNVYK. The result of this research is that the most important issue of budget absorption at UPNVYK is the existence of organizational commitment and commitment from all employees in each unit on various issues related to budget absorption at University of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta.

Purpose: Higher education institutions assume an effective role in enriching the education quality of a nation. The curriculum developed or approved by the ministry, which is an apex body in the country, has a direct impact on the outcomes of the educational system. This paper has made an attempt to critically evaluate the entrepreneurial initiatives developed by the students who pursue their MBA programme.Methodology: This research work is based on both primary and secondary sources of data and the primary data required for the study were collected through a structured questionnaire from rightly designed sample size while for the secondary data, the researchers have relied on previous research works in the same field, apart from other sources like, magazines, e-library resources, text books and websites. The data were analysed by Percentage Analysis and Henry Garrett Ranking Technique to attain the objectives of the study.Findings: The results of the study indicate that most of the students who pursue MBA programme are willing to initiate own business to make a career.Practical Implications: This research work implies that if MBA programmes offered by HEIs incorporate more of practical sessions involving the students in real world problem analysis and decision making mechanism, the students would be able to become successful entrepreneurs.Social Implications: The results of the study indicate that when more of entrepreneurial oriented master programmes are offered, the country will be able to ensure sustainable growth in the business field focusing on SME.Result Limitations/Implications: The present research study has focused on only the MBA students whereas there are other master degree programmes having courses in entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, which are not covered by the study.Originality/Value: The result outcomes and suggestions would be of valuable basis for any authority who is involved in reviving the curriculum of academic programmes in entrepreneurship.

The construction industry is one of the major industries in South Africa. Like any other industry, strong leadership is vital for its growth. Moreover in order to stay competitive, South African construction firms must find a way to train their project and construction managers to become competent leaders in their specific disciplines. It is to this end, that the study presents findings on how leaders can be developed in the South African construction industry. The data used in this research were derived from both primary and secondary sources. The secondary data was collected via a detailed review of related literature. The primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire aimed at 150 projects and construction managers in the South African construction industry. From the 150 distributed questions, only 110 questionnaires were received and subsequently data based on the received questionnaire which was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings revealed that, education and qualification can help develop leaders in the South African construction industry. This was followed by leadership training courses, taking responsibility, new challenges, and internal motivation, professional and personal development. The study explores leadership and leadership development in the South African construction industry. The study presents a robust background about the construction industry and the importance of leadership.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to focus on the role ingredient branding (IB) plays in shaping the strategic communications created by public relations/corporate communication departments of large organizations when managing crises. Design/methodology/approach – Starting from a literature review on strategic communication and IB the role of this activity is studied within the Italian context. In order to reach the aim of the paper, primary and secondary sources were exploited generating qualitative and quantitative data. The primary data were gathered though in-depth interviews with key management personnel while the secondary data were sourced from reports made available by Tetra Pak Italy. Findings – The study confirmed the contribution of the strategic proactive role played by Tetra Pak Italy managers of External Relations and Marketing Departments and the communication agency manager during a challenging period of crisis for the company. The main implication of the paper lies in the analysis of the important strategic work implemented by the external consultant of communication together with the External Relations and Marketing managers as members of the dominant coalition. Originality/value – The paper analyses a Tetra Pak Italy case study, as an exploratory case that could demonstrate how strategic communication – based on an IB campaign – is of fundamental importance during a period of crisis. Moreover, the research studied how proactive and effective the role played by the communication consultant and managers of External Relations and Marketing Departments was as a determinant of resulting outcomes.
