Dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran media dramatik seperti Teater Forum boleh dikelaskan sebagai bahan media konkrit dan sifatnya menyerupai keadaan sebenar. Media dramatik ini boleh menukar pengalaman abstrak dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran kepada pengalaman konkrit untuk melahirkan manusia yang holistik dari aspek pemikiran, perasaan dan tindakan. Artikel ini membincangkan potensi Teater Forum dalam membentuk manusia holistik seperti yang digariskan oleh Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan. Sebanyak 12 peserta terlibat dalam kajian kualitatif ini. Data dikumpul melalui pemerhatian, temu bual kumpulan berfokus dan entri catatan jurnal. Data yang dikumpul daripada pelbagai kaedah dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tema. Hasil kajian membuktikan bahawa elemen-elemen Teater Forum seperti dialog, latihan, aksi lakonan, tindakan membuat keputusan dan prinsip-prinsip dalaman dan luaran boleh menjadi teknik pengajaran yang berkesan untuk merangsang aspek pemikiran moral, emosi moral, tindakan moral, empati, pemikiran kritis dan kreatif serta kemahiran penyelesaian masalah. (In the process of teaching and learning the dramatic media such as Forum Theatre can be classified as concrete media material and its nature resembles the real situation. This dramatic media can exchange abstract experience in teaching and learning to concrete experience to create a whole human being from aspects of thinking, feeling and action. This article discusses the potential of Forum Theatre in forming a holistic human being as intended by the National Education Philosophy. A total of 12 participants were involved in this qualitative study. Data was collected through observation, focus group interviews and journal entries. Data collected using multiple methods were analysed using thematic analysis technique. The results prove that elements of Forum Theatre such as dialogue, training, acting, decision-making and internal and external principles can be a effective teaching technique to stimulate moral tinking and reasoning, moral emotion, moral action, empathy, critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills.)

This study aims to examine the factors that drive student creativity, identify key factors and look at differences in creativity factors for male and female students. A total of 119 respondents from one polytechnic in the southern zone were involved in this study. The study data were obtained from the administered questionnaire and the Cronbach Alpha value obtained was α = 0.873 and then analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis of student gender was seen using frequency and percentage while inference analysis using t-test at a significant level 0.05 was used to see the difference in creativity factors between genders. The results of the study found that the main factor that motivates student creativity is the knowledge factor with a mean value of 4.3025. In addition, studies also show that there is no difference in creativity factors between male and female students except for the knowledge factor. It is also hoped that this finding will provide an opportunity for lecturers to continue to strive and give encouragement during the teaching and learning process so that students' creativity can be highlighted through the factors that have been mentioned. Keywords: Creativity, Creative Thinking, Higher Education, Polytechnic, Students   Abstrak: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mendorong kreativiti pelajar, mengenalpasti faktor utama dan melihat perbezaan faktor kreativiti bagi pelajar lelaki dan perempuan. Seramai 119 responden telah terlibat dalam kajian ini yang merupakan pelajar di sebuah politeknik di zon selatan. Data kajian diperoleh daripada soal selidik yang telah ditabdir dan nilai Cronbach Alpha yang diperolehi ialah α = 0.873 dan seterunsya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi. Analisis deskriptif mengenai jantina pelajar dilihat dengan menggunakan frekuensi dan peratusan manakala analisis inferensi menggunakan ujian t pada aras signifikan 0.05 digunakan untuk melihat perbezaan faktor kreativiti antara jantina. Hasil kajian mendapati faktor utama yang mendorong kreativiti pelajar ialah faktor ilmu pengetahuan dengan nilai min 4.3025. Melalui kajian ini juga diharap dapat memberikan peluang kepada pensyarah untuk terus berusaha dan memberi galakan semasa proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran agar kreativiti pelajar dapat diserlahkan dan ditonjolkan lagi melalui faktor yang telah disebutkan. Soft skills are non-academic competencies that complement a student's academic achievement to face the world of work in the future. This study aims to identify ways of implementing soft skills and the kind of soft skills emphasized in the teaching and learning of the Malay language among secondary school students in nine selected schools in Kedah, Penang, and Perak. The study involved focus group interviews and individual interviews consisted of 119 students and 26 Malay language teachers. The findings show that soft skills apply directly and indirectly through various learning activities in Malay Language subjects. Respondents from normal schools received less exposure to soft skills compared to respondents from high-performing schools (HPS). Among the soft skills identified in this study are teamwork skills, self-confidence, communication, critical thinking, leadership, influencing skills, critical and creative thinking skills (CCTS), and problem-solving skills. Communication skills and teamwork skills were among the most detected soft skills in the three high-performing schools involved in this study. Meanwhile, the activities carried out to apply soft skills are group discussions, presentations, acting, poetry recitation, storytelling, public speaking, forums, and question and answer. Although this study is not comprehensive in terms of the number of schools and respondents, the findings of this study are important to explain the real scenario of the level of mastery and integration of soft skills, especially in the nine cases of this study.

Purpose –The power of forum theatre in education and various field is well known by educators. However, the use of forum theatre in Malaysia, particularly in the field of moral education, is still lacking and limited. At the same time, the development of thinking skills is one of the aims of the moral education curriculum in Malaysia. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the use of forum theatre as a pedagogical tool in developing various levels of thinking skills among moral education students. Method –This study adopted a qualitative research design and was underpinned by Bloom’s revised taxonomy as the theoretical and analytical framework. A total of 14 moral education students participated in this study. Data were collected qualitatively using classroom observation, interviews, and journal writing. Thematic analysis was utilized to analyse and present the findings. Findings –The findings of this study reveal that various theatrical activities that underpinned the four elements of forum theatre-(i) writing a script, (ii) delivering a dialogue in an anti-model play, (iii) discussion and decision-making in a forum session, and (iv) improvisation in an intervention play-show the development of students’thinking skill level such as analysing, evaluating, and creating skills. Therefore, this study suggests that forum theatre can be used in moral education pedagogy to enhance higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Significance –Meaningful instructional pedagogy must inspire thinking skills to foster creativity and innovation among students. This is considered an important skill in 21st century learning. Therefore, these findings are beneficial for teachers, lecturers, parents, and instructional designers to plan and implement suitable teaching methods such as forum theatre to empower and improve students’ thinking skill levels.

Implementing teaching and learning, to raise the dimension of moral reasoning among students, is still a major challenge to secondary school teachers. Pedagogy and classroom teaching strategies is important to stimulate students to think critically and pro-active in addressing a moral and social conflict. Furthermore, one of the aspirations of Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025 is to produce a creative, innovative and critical thinking society in Malaysia. Conventional classroom teaching seems difficult to attract secondary school students to engage physically and mentally in moral learning process. In this regard, the use of pedagogical strategies and innovative teaching techniques can stimulate students' cognitive skills to current demands. Therefore, this article discusses the use of Forum Theatre as a creative pedagogical strategies in teaching and learning of moral education in secondary school. Creative teaching strategies that are able to develop reasonable thought and justification, is essential for the development of human capital in the era of globalization. In this study, views of students about the applicability of the digital documentary production through fieldwork model and the effect of it on their problem-solving skills were examined. The study was conducted in Turkey, in 2016-2017 spring term with 15 geography teacher candidates who chosen by convenience sampling method. In this study, within producing student digital documentary via fieldwork (FwDD) which is the outcome of the project-based learning (PBL) process, students were asked to carry out field works and to reflect their observations through a digital documentary, on Cultural Geography subjects. The data was collected through Problem-Solving Inventory and focus group interviews, in this case study. Paired Samples Test and content analysis were used for analysis of the data. The findings showed that FwDD-PBL lead to a significant difference regarding the students’ problem-solving skills since the effect size is 0.61. Students stated that they learned to use the technology for educational and reflective purposes, that the project increased their motivations and enterprisingness besides their creative thinking and decision-making skills. The study is important to provide the students effective instruction and teaching skills. It is expected that the results will be useful to encourage the use of FwDD-PBL model in geography education.

The background of this study is the fact that there are still many teachers who have not yet independently developed students’ worksheet. Whereas, it is a must for teachers to be able to develop students’ worksheet independently because students’ worksheet must be developed based on not only curriculum but also the level of students' ability and the condition of learning environment which are known only by teachers. This study aims to describe the feasibility of scientific approach-based students’ worksheet to improve four graders’ problem solving skills on surrounding environment issues. In detail, the objectives of this study are classified into three, which are: (1) To describe the validity of scientific approach-based students’ worksheet to improve four graders’ problem solving skills on surrounding environment issues, (2) To describe the practicality of the use of scientific approach-based students’ worksheet to improve four graders’ problem solving skills on surrounding environment issues, (3) To describe the effectiveness of the use of scientific approach-based students’ worksheet to improve four graders’ problem solving skills on surrounding environment issues. This study was conducted using Research and Development (R&D) method which produces scientific approach-based students’ worksheet. The design of this study is pretest-post test control group design. The instrument used in this study were observation sheet, test, questionnaire and validation. The data was analyzed using quantitative analysis technique with statistical formulas and qualitative analysis technique with description. The results of this study indicate that the created scientific approach-based students’ worksheet is feasible to use in teaching and learning activities. The validation results warranted that this students’ worksheet is feasible to be implemented in teaching and learning with little revision with a percentage of 96.3%. Practicality of this students’ worksheet based on learning practice showed excellent result. This was evidenced by the activity of students as the active users of this worksheet was very active with the percentage of 87%, especially in terms of understanding problem and conducting evaluation. This scientific approach based students’ worksheet can be used to teach and improve students’ problem solving skills on surrounding environment in the fourth grade of Elementary School. This case is proved by good performance of students in solving problems related to their surrounding environment with a percentage of 81% which shows very high category.

Creating people of high moral character and integrity who adhere to universal values based on moral principles is the ultimate goal of the Moral Education Curriculum. In this regard, the use of an appropriate approach to convey teaching is a key requirement. Such approaches need to be able to develop the moral domain set forth in the Moral Education Secondary Curriculum Standard for moral reasoning, moral emotion and moral behaviour. This study discusses the Practice of the Caring Approach through Forum Theatre to develop caring's moral reasoning among students of Moral Education. The methods in this Approach which aremodelling, dialogue, practice and certainty are integrated with Forum Theatre elements such as script development, anti-model acting, forums and acting intervention. The findings of the study show that Forum Theatre is an appropriate technique for implementing caring moral reasoning among Moral Education students. Practices, especially caring's moral reasoning can be demonstrated explicitly and concrete through Forum Theatre techniques.

<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris">Moral decline in millennial generation is the reason for the importance of instilling moral education. Moral education is one of the foundations and principles upon which Islamic education is based. One mandate of the goal national education is to instill noble character for students. This study aims to determine the method of moral education  by Ibn Hajar in the book of Jami’ Bulughul Maram. Data is collected through document which is then analyzed by content analysis technique. The results showed that according to Ibn Hajar two, namely good morals and bad morals. The method of moral teaching according to Ibn Hajar there are eight, namely targhib wa tarhib, question and answer, repetition, global detail, advice, prayer, talk, and analogy.</p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak       </strong>                           </p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Kemerosotan moral pada generasi milenial menjadi alasan pentingnya menanamkan pendidikan moral. Pendidikan akhlak merupakan salah satu landasan dan prinsip yang mendasari pendidikan Islam. Salah satu amanat dari tujuan pendidikan nasional adalah menanamkan akhlak mulia bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pendidikan moral menurut Ibnu Hajar dalam kitab Jami 'Bulughul Maram. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumen yang kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurut Ibnu Hajar ada dua, yaitu akhlak baik dan akhlak buruk. Metode pengajaran akhlak menurut Ibnu Hajar ada delapan yaitu targhib wa tarhib, tanya jawab, ulangan, detil global, nasehat, doa, ceramah, dan analogi.</p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak"> </p>

The perfectness of human being will be transmitted through Akhlaq (ethics). These ethics covered the standart of good habit and bad habit. Both of them are defined in the moral education concept. Shaykh Nawawi Al-Bantany with hisMaraqi al-’Ubudiyah, Syarh ’alaMatn Bidayah al-Hidayah explained that ethics.Therefore, it is needed deep study about it. Particularly, the contemplations and materials which will form good moral and avoid moral from the destruction, the moral role in shaping a good man, and the relevance of moral education. Content analysis technique will be used in the study. Content analysis is emphasized in how the researchers view a content of communications qualitatively. The result showed that; the concept of moral education is about moral advises.
