This study aims to analyze inquiry-based learning through the implementation of modeling instruction on optical instrument materials. This research method used quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Donggo. The collection technique includes observation, literature review, questionnaire, test and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively, among the research data to be analyzed are: student activities, learning outcomes, and student responses to ongoing learning. The results of this study include: 1) Student activity obtained a score of 74.58% or good category, 2) Inquiry learning with Modeling Instruction on optical instrument material can actually improve students' understanding with an N-gain score of 1.3 points or very high category. high, 3) Student responses to learning obtained a score of 84.37% or very interesting category. Based on the results of the study, it was found that through Inquiry learning with Modeling Instruction on Optical Instruments material, it can be used as an alternative to improve the quality of learning in class, especially in Physics subjects.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work commitment, supervision, and discipline on the quality of work of employees of PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya, either partially or simultaneously. This research approach is based on a quantitative approach. This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The population of this study are all employees of PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya, which based on data obtained in October 2021, totaled 61 employees from all divisions except managers. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the sample used was representative of the entire population, namely 61 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis technique. Hypothesis testing by means of Simultaneous partial (t test), (F test), and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the study indicate that there is effect of work commitment on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. There is effect of supervision on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. There is effect of discipline on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. Simultaneously there are effect of work commitment, supervision, and discipline on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. The results of the regression calculation can be seen that the coefficient of determination (R square) obtained is 0.409, this result means that 40.9% of the quality of work of employees can be explained by the work commitment, supervision, and discipline, while the remaining 59.1% is explained by other variables which is not researched. AbstractThis study aims to determine the quality of question item of the Odd Mid-term Examination for Art and Culture subject in grade 7 of SMPN 5 Padang in Academic Year 2019/2020 in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating power and effectiveness of deceivers. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were all students (254 students) in grade 7. The object in this study was the question items of mid-term Exam, key answers, and participants' answers. The data were collected through documentation and interview. The data analysis was conducted by using the ANATES program version 4.0.9.The results of this study indicate that: (1) Based on validity, there are 45 valid questions (90%) and 5 invalid questions (10%). (2) Based on reliability, the items have high reliability which is 0.78. (3) Based on the level of difficulty, there are 6 difficult items (12%), 31 medium items (62%), and 13 easy items (26%). (4) Based on discriminating power, there is 1 question categorized as  a bad item (2%),  10 question categorized as pretty good items (20%), 23 question categorized as good items (46%), and 16 question categorized as very good items (32%). (5) Based on the effectiveness of the deception/distractor, there are 28 items functioning very well (36%), 17 items functioning well (34%), 4 items functioning quite well (8%), and 1 item functioning poorly (2% ). (6) Based on the quality of the questions, there are 27 items which are good in quality (54%), 15 items which are less good (30%), and 8 items which are not good (16%).Keywords: Item Analysis, Examination, ANATES version 4.0.9

The increase in regional demographics certainly affects the use of energy for transportation and households which will ultimately have implications for greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions in the region. This study focuses on the planning of green open space in the Mamuju Urban Area in order to minimize the effects of greenhouse gases so that the quality of space in the area is maintained. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research that explores the condition of green open space in the Mamuju Urban Area and takes into account the existing emission potential. The data analysis used is AHP (scoring and weighting) to determine the value and influence of each thematic, image digitization and field observations to determine the existing green open space in the Mamuju Urban Area, and overlay using the ArcGIS 10.8 application to combine maps that be a research indicator. The results obtained from this study are that the Mamuju Urban Area continues to grow from time to time, the distribution of existing green open space continues to decrease along with land use changes that continue to occur, and from the analysis of potential emissions, the largest green open space planning directive is private green open space planning with an area of 354, 14 Ha.

The 2013 scientific-based curriculum, teachers must facilitate students to gain knowledge or skills based on the scientific method. The research aims to analyze the effectiveness of teaching materials. This type of research development, teaching materials have valid content and media. Teaching materials are declared effective if there is an increase in students' classical mastery, an increase in the achievement of basic competencies, and students can understand macroscopic, microscopic and symbolic level representations. Quantitative descriptive research method, starting from the analysis of the quality of teaching materials and diagnostic test instruments Two Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC), application of teaching materials, application of questions, data analysis of test results, classical completeness, achievement of basic competencies, and analysis of representational understanding. The research subjects were students of class XI and XII MIPA. The results of the study were obtained from the results of the student's TTMC test on the buffer solution material that had used Teaching Materials. Data analysis was done classically. The results showed that there was an increase in classical completeness by 9%, the achievement of basic competence indicators increased by 8% and concept understanding increased by 6%. So that the teaching materials developed are effective to use.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think PairShare (TPS), aktivitas peserta didik, hasil belajar, keterampilan komunikasi, dan respon peserta didik.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Shoot Case Staudy dan One Group Pretest-Postetst Designdengan subyek penelitian peserta didik kelas XI MIA 6. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukansebagai berikut: (1) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPS mendapatkanpersentase rata-rata secara berurutan pada pertemuan pertama sampai dengan ketiga sebesar 89,2%,92,9%, dan 97,9%, dengan kriteria sangat baik (2) Aktivitas relevan peserta didik selama tiga kalipertemmuan memperoleh persentase sebesar 94,82%, 96,87%, dan 97,52% (3) Hasil belajar secaraklasikal memperoleh persentase 100% dengan skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 85,17. Peningkatan hasilbelajar dengan kategori tinggi sebanyak 35 peserta didik dan kategori sedang satu peserta didik (4)Kuantitas komunikasi selama tiga kali pertemuan diantaranya bertanya memperoleh persentase 13,89%,19,44%, dan 25% dengan kategori kurang baik dan berpendapat memperoleh persentase 30,56%, 41,67%,dan 63,89% dengan kategori cukup baik. Kualitas komunikasi selama tiga pertemuan diantaranyabertanya dengan kategori cukup baik memperoleh persentase 25%, 50%, dan 25%. Kualitas berpendapatdengan kategori baik memperoleh peresentase 30,77%, 46,15%, dan 23% (5) Respon peserta didikmengenai pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS untuk melatihkan komunikasipeserta didik memperoleh persentase rata-rata 93,89% dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci: TPS, Keterampilan komunikasi. The credibility of a communicator is one of the factors for people to make purchasing decisions about a product. A communicator must have some ability in other words that the communicator must have the strength to compete, namely credibility and attractiveness. The research aims to examine the credibility of the communicator on the purchase decision of the AHHA Clothing Line Atta Halilintar product after watching YouTube Atta Halilintar. The independent variable in this study is the credibility of the communicator and the dependent variable is the purchase decision. The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Research data were collected using non-probability sampling techniques or purposive sampling techniques. This study uses SPSS for Windows 23 test for Validity, Reliability, Hypothesis (simple linear analysis), T-test, Correlation Coefficient, and Determination Coefficient. Researchers obtain data that will be tested by distributing several questionnaires to all respondents, amounting to 100 respondents who have been determined and have been adjusted to the requirements in this study and respondents who represent the population of this study. The results obtained from the study showed that the communicator's credibility affected 29% in purchasing decisions while the remaining 71% was influenced by other factors. The relationship is positive, if the quality of the communicator's credibility increases, therefore the purchasing decision will also increase. And conversely, if the quality of the communicator's credibility decreases then the purchasing decision will also decrease. Kredibilitas dari seorang komunikator merupakan salah satu faktor bagi masyarakat untuk mengambil keputusan pembelian terhadap sebuah produk. Seorang komunikator harus memiliki beberapa kemampuan dengan kata lain bahwa komunikator harus memiliki kekuatan untuk bersaing yaitu kredibilitas (credibility) dan daya tarik (attractiveness).Penelitian bertujuan untuk meneliti kredibilitas komunikator terhadap keputusan pembelian produk AHHA Clothing Line Atta Halilintar setelah menonton YouTube Atta Halilintar. Variabel independen yang berada dalam penelitian ini yaitu kredibilitas komunikator dan variabel dependen adalah keputusan pembelian. Pendekatan yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling atau teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat uji SPSS for windows 23 untuk Uji Validitas, Reliabilitas, Hipotesis (analisis linier sederhana), Uji T, Koefisien Korelasi, dan Koefisien Determinasi. Peneliti memperoleh data-data yang akan diujikan dengan cara menyebarkan beberapa kuesioner kepada semua responden yang berjumlah 100 responden yang telah ditentukan dan telah disesuaikan dengan syarat-syarat pada penelitian ini dan responden yang mewakili dari populasi penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kredibilitas komunikator berpengaruh sebesar 29% pada keputusan pembelian sementara sisanya 71% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hubungan bersifat positif,apabila kualitas kredibilitas komunikator meningkat maka dari itu keputusan pembelian juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Dan sebaliknya, bila kualitas kredibilitas komunikator menurun maka dari itu keputusan pembelian juga akan mengalami penurunan.

Culture defines how persons behave towards each other. When nurses and patients belong to different cultures, culture-based misunderstandings could influence the nurse-patient relationships and interactions adversely. The purpose of the study was to determine non-Muslim nurses’ knowledge about Muslim traditions pertaining to obstetric units in a Muslim country. A quantitative descriptive research design was adopted. The population comprised 67 nurses, but the accessible population consisted of 52 nurses who were working in the participating hospital’s gynaecological wards during the data collection phase. However, only 50 nurses completed questionnaires as two nurses did not want to participate in the study. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS Version 11.5) was used to analyse the data. The research results indicate that non-Muslim nurses lacked knowledge about Muslim practices concerning breastfeeding, Ko’hl, the “evil eye”, modesty, medicine and food taboos. If these aspects could be addressed during the recruitment and inservice education of non-Muslim nurses working in Muslim countries, this could enhance the quality of culture-competent nursing care.

The purpose of this study is to describe students' critical thinking skills in Plant Ecology courses through inquiry learning. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with one group pretest-posttest research design (single group design with pretest-posttest). Data collection techniques used pretest and posttest to measure students' critical thinking skills in understanding during learning. Research data on critical thinking skills from the pretest and posttest were analyzed by calculating the N-gain value. N-gain results indicate that the use of inquiry models can improve students' critical thinking skills. Students’ posttest data were analyzed descriptively to describe students' critical thinking skills through inquiry learning. The highest average score on the first indicator, which is focusing on questions,gotscore of 73.64, in the criteria of sufficient. The lowest average score is found in two indicators, namely the indicator asking and answering questions and the indicator considering whether the source is reliable or not. Both indicators got a score of 70 in the criteria of sufficient. On average all indicators of critical thinking skills of students got a score of 71.27 in the criteria of sufficient. The conclusion is that the Inquiry learning is able to improve students' critical thinking skills in the medium criteria.

The damage to the immune system in people with HIV infection resulted in them being easily attacked by other diseases, especially the decrease in the quality of life of HIV-AIDS sufferers. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know the relationship between compliance with antiretroviral use and family support in improving the quality of life of people with HIV-AIDS. For that, quantitative descriptive research with the population is the entire patient with HIV-AIDS. They undergo medical checkup at Budi Kemuliaan hospital-Batam aged between 20-35 years which amounted to 76 people and samples as many as 60 people selected using the Purposive sampling method. The results showed a significant link between compliance with the use of antiretroviral and quality of life and the relationship between the quality of life with the support of the family in HIV/AIDS patients at the Budi Kemuliaan hospital-Batam.

Translation of literacy in english, Indonesian and latin has a strategic position in the biological sciences that must be studied with good quality for students so that the development of science. The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of taxonomy translation in English, Indonesian and Latin with regard to biology education. This research is a quantitative-descriptive research. The test method is used to collect data on the ability to translate in biology education learning by using the google form media provided through the biology student WhatsApp group due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of 10 questions with a blend of English, Latin and Indonesian about taxonomy. There are 13 respondents who are ready to answer the test. The test is given for 1 credit which is about 45 minutes as the deadline. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive quantitative which uses three lines of research activities, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.The results obtained by respondents find it easier to translate test questions in short sentences. The quality of taxonomy translations related to English, Indonesian and Latin have good quality because from the first session, namely translation into the target language English, 4 of the total questions were obtained with the percentage of success by students in translating well above 50%. Likewise for the results of the translation with the target language Indonesian, the respondents managed to answer all questions well with a percentage above 50%. Here it can be seen that, translating into the target language Indonesian is still easier for respondents to produce because all questions are of high value than translating into the target language English.
