Environmentalism has in common with other theories when it comes to making a movement. This theory talks about the environment, and its relationship with humans, how human behavior can impact the environment around it. This journal will discuss waste import as the main topic. Many people still do not know about the waste import activities carried out by the Indonesian. Therefore, we present data that describes how the process of these activities occurs, in relation to theory, other problems arising from the incident, Indonesian government policies and their implementation, as well as the right solutions that can be taken to prevent or even solve the problem.   Keywords: Environmentalism, Waste import, Policy, Government, Implementation

Indonesia is one of many countries in the world so called resource-rich country. Natural resources abundance needs to be managed in the right way in order to avoid dutch diseases and resources curses. These two phenomena generally happened in the country, which has abundant natural resources. Learned from Norwegian experiences, Indonesian Government need to focus its policy to prevent rent seeking activities. The literature study presented in this paper is aimed to provide important insight for government entities in focusing their policies and programs to avoid resources curse. From the internal audit perspective, this study is expected to improve internal audit’s role in assurance and consulting.

Teacher professionalism has become a distinctive concern in educational discussions. Based on Teacher and Lecturer Act No.14 2005 carried out by Indonesian Government, teacher professionalism, considered as an assessment aspect of teacher quality, could be drawn by four competences, pedagogical competence, personal, competence, social competence, and professional competence. Hargreaves (2000) captured and fragmented the pattern of professionalism development through four phases. This study, a perception study, observed 100 teachers to draw the pattern of teacher professionalism, particularly in Tulungagung and Blitar District, East-Java, Indonesia based on Hargreaves professionalism phases. The results of this study identify that the likelihood phase of teacher professionalism in Indonesia is in collegial phase. Additionally, the criteria of professionalism enhancement reflect the professionalism development based on professionalism ages by Hargreaves (2000). Further, we observe the likelihood of professionalization become an influential factor of professionalism development. The results indicate that every phase captured the right pattern of professionalism development.

It is time for state servants to provide services to society in a professional, honest, fair and equitable manner in carrying out state, government and development tasks. This study aims to realize the attitude of state servants who must be neutral from the influence of all political groups and parties and not be discriminatory in providing services to the community. In the legal and governmental aspects, bureaucratic reform is a very strong issue to be realized. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an effort to explain the phenomena in the field related to the Indonesian government bureaucracy which is suspected to have contributed greatly to the occurrence of various public service crisis management. The findings of this study indicate that there is a bureaucratic culture that is thick with bureaucratic politicization and the lack of transparency in public services. The mainactor public services has not prioritized fair service to the community. Therefore, bureaucratic reform is expected to be corrective measures against the Government's political policies so that bureaucratic neutrality occurs.

AbstrakMenyusui adalah naluri manusia yang berkaitan dengan kehamilan, namun demikian pemerintah Indonesia perlu melindungi ibu dan bayi dengan menerbitkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 33 Tahun 2012. Kebijakan ini memandatkan seluruh pihak termasuk pemerintah daerah, lembaga layanan kesehatan, tenaga medis, dan produsen susu formula agar mendukung pemenuhan periode laktasi (menyusui). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan keamanan manusia, penelitian ini hendak menganalisis apa yang menjadi pertimbangan pemerintah Indonesia dalam menerbitkan PP yang berkaitan dengan aspek kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dan informasi diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan PP No.33/2012 dikeluarkan sebagai bentuk komitmen pemerintah untuk mencapai target MDGs terkait jaminan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Adapun kendala dalam penerapan kebijakan ini berasal dari kasus ibu bekerja yang pada umumnya terbatas waktu menyusui, beban pikiran, dan kurangnya fasilitas pojok laktasi di tempat kerja. Tayangan iklan susu formula melalui berbagai ruang publik turut meyakinkan para ibu terhadap manfaat susu formula sehingga menggantikan peran ASI. Selain itu, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang menyusui dari ibu dan keluarga juga menjadi tantangan kesuksesan pemenuhan periode menyusui.Kata Kunci: menyusui, MDGs, kebijakan AbstractBreastfeed is a matter of human nature and maternity, but Indonesian government needs to legitimate and protect the right of mother and baby by establish Government Policy No. 33/2012. It mandated the role of local government, health service institututions, medical expertist, and instan milk producers to support the breastfeed period. This research questioned why the Indonesian Government establish the health policy in dealing with breastfeeding obligation that it sounds crucial problem regarding the human security perspective. This research used qualitative method. Data and information obtained from observation, literature review, and deep interview. This policy is the one of Indonesian committment to achieve MDGs target to ensure mother and baby’s health. The obstacles of breastfeed experienced by working mother related to the problem of leisure time, stressful, and facilities in work place. The massive instan milk advertisement through mass media and public sphere are able to influence the society mindsets about the safety and goodness of instan milk for their baby. The lack of access on breastfeed education and knowledge of the mother and family become the rest.Keywords: breastfeeds, MDGs, policy

PurposeCOVID-19 cases in Indonesia continue to increase and spread. This article aims to analyse the Indonesian government policies as a response in dealing with COVID-19.Design/methodology/approachThis article is a narrative analysis with the approach of a systematic literature review.FindingsThis article found that the Indonesian government responded slowly to the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of its spread in March 2020. The government then issued some policies such as physical distancing, large-scale social restriction (PSBB - Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) and social safety net. These policies will only work if the society follows them. The society could be the key to success of those policies, either as the support or the obstacles.Practical implicationsThis policy analysis with literature review, conducted from March to July 2020 in Indonesia, provides experiences and knowledge in how to respond to the dynamic problems of public policy in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak, especially in the context of a developing country.Originality/valueThe novelty of the article lies in the unique policy response in a diverse society. It suggests that the policymakers should pay more attention to the society’s characteristics as well as the mitigation system as a preventive measure and risk management to make clear policy in the society.

It can be accepted that the classification of human rights, its division, types, and groups, is of particular importance. The syllogism for human rights can be taken as follows: law belongs to man; human beings are the highest beings on earth like living beings. Therefore, the regulation prevails. The right to freedom is conditional. Man is free. Consequently, human rights are dependent. Morality is the limit of the law. Morality is the limit and content of human actions. Therefore, the law is the limit of human activities. Morality is related to law. Law is the norm of human behavior. Thereby, human behavior and direction are related to morality. The people create the state. The state has the right. Therefore, the right of the state is the right of the people. The state is an institution made up of citizens. Citizens have the privilege. Such blessings as Dignity, honor, conscience, zeal, honor, etc., and values are a part of morality and spiritual life. Morality is united with law. Therefore, moral values are part of the law. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought and conscience. Space is about the law. Therefore, everyone has the right to opinion and conscience. Pesantren is the oldest Islamic religious education institution in Indonesia. However, the regulations and recognition of the Indonesian government are not the same as the recognition of schools, why? The results of this study show that government policies and pesantren recognition are divided into five periods, namely recognition of the existence of pesantren; recognition of pesantren as religious educational institutions in Indonesia; pesantren are equivalent to school and madrasah; pesantren as part of the Indonesia education system; and the period of independent existence of pesantren as educational institutions.

Abstract:Ongoing developments in neuroscientific techniques and technologies—such as neuroimaging—offer potential for greater insight into human behavior and have fostered temptation to use these approaches in legal contexts. Neuroscientists are increasingly called on to provide expert testimony, interpret brain images, and thereby inform judges and juries who are tasked with determining the guilt or innocence of an individual. In this essay, we draw attention to the actual capabilities and limitations of currently available assessment neurotechnologies and examine whether neuroscientific evidence presents unique challenges to existing frameworks of evidence law. In particular, we focus on (1) fundamental questions of relevance and admissibility that can and should be posed before the tests afforded in Daubert v. Merrill Dow Pharmaceuticals or Frye v. U.S. are applied and (2) how these considerations fit into the broader contexts of criminal law. We contend that neuroscientific evidence must first be scrutinized more heavily for its relevance, within Daubert and Federal Rule of Evidence 702, to ensure that the right questions are asked of neuroscientists, so as to enable expert interpretation of neuroscientific evidence within the limits of their knowledge and discipline that allows the judge or jury to determine the facts at issue in the case. We use the analogy provided by the Daubert court of an expert on the phases of the moon testifying to an individual’s behavior on a particular night to ensure that we are, in fact, asking the neuroscientific expert the appropriate question.

The process of implementing the concept of a welfare state by the Indonesian government towards its people is a problem of poverty. The number of needy people in Indonesia is enormous. This is what underlies poverty to be considered a serious problem so that the Indonesian government provides specific regulations related to poverty handling through the issuance of Law no. 13 of 2001 concerning Management of the Poor. In the South Sumatra region, particularly the city of Palembang itself, the problem of poverty is a big task that must be faced by regional officials and other related agencies. The Social Service of South Sumatra Province stated that Palembang City was the city with the highest number of poor people compared to other districts / cities in South Sumatra. This of course requires the right policies in handling it, one of which is through the issuance of the Regional Regulation of South Sumatra Province Number 7 of 2017 concerning poverty reduction in South Sumatra

Islam as a religion that is present in all tribes in the archipelago as a value system that integrates with the local culture, so this is often seen by people outside the tribe with Islam Minangkabau, Javanese Islam, and so on. The accumulation of cultures with various intercourses called multiculturalism. But the great possibility both can play an important role in shaping a new culture, because there is a dialogue between the orders of religious values ​​that become the idealism of a religion with local cultural values. As a system of knowledge, religion is a belief system that is full of moral teachings and guidance of life must be studied, examined and then practiced by man in his life. In this case religion provides clues about the "good and bad that are inappropriate and inappropriate" and the "right and inappropriate". Religious values ​​can form and develop human behavior in their daily lives. It is therefore not difficult to understand that having a common symbol is the most effective way to strengthen unity among religious followers. This is because the meaning of these symbols deviates far from the intellectual definitions so that the symbol's ability to unite is greater, whereas the intellectual definition causes division. Symbols can be shared because they are based on feelings that are not formulated too tightly. That is why Islam has historically come to various parts of the archipelago with a relatively peaceful atmosphere with almost no tension and conflict. Islam can easily be accepted by society as a religion that brings peace, even though at that time people have been religious and have their own belief in animism, dynamism, Hinduism and Buddhism. The spread of Islam causes the emergence of Islamic patterns and variants that have uniqueness and uniqueness. It must be realized that the existence of Islam in Indonesia is never single.
