Background: Emergency nursing service system requires the role of nurses who are able to pay attention to the behavior of caring and patient comfort. Caring in an emergency room is an important aspect in lifesaving procedures. It might impact the psychology of patients if nurses are not caring. Caring behavior and comfort given by nurses can also affect to patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is considered important as a bridgehead for the treatment of patients.Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between caring behavior and comfort with patient satisfaction in the emergency room, Ratu Zalecha Hospital, South Kalimantan, Indonesia.Method: This was an analytic correlational study with cross-sectional approach involved 341 patients in the emergency unit using consecutive sampling. Four questionnaires were used to measure the characteristics of the respondent, the nurse caring behavior, comfort given by the nurses, and patient satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics for  respondents’ characteristic, and chi-square to analyze the relationship between variables. Result: There were 285 respondents (92.8%) who received nurses’ caring behaviors were satisfied, and 268 respondents (87.3%) stated that the nurses were able to provide comfort in nursing care in the emergency room.Conclusion: This study revealed that there was a relationship between caring behavior, and comfort with patient satisfaction. It tells that caring and comfort are very important components that influence the satisfaction of patients. Therefore, the role of nurse to provide caring and comfort for the patients in the future should be developed along with the development of science and technology and society's demands.

Caring is the essence of nursing service that distinguishes nursing from other professions. Caring is the essence of nursing service that distinguishes nursing from other professions. Caring is a hot topic at this time to be discussed in the world of nursing because nurses are caring behaviors but caring that is carried out by nurses is still far from the standard in real nursing practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse caring behavior and the satisfaction level of BPJS service users at RS An-Nisa Tangerang in 2020. The research method used in this study was descriptive-collegial. The population in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The technique used for data collection is accidental sampling. Results: Based on the chi-square test that p-value = 0.009 <0.05, it can be stated that HO is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient installation of BPJS service users at AN-NISA Hospital Tangerang. Conclusion: there is a relationship between the caring behavior of nurses and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient installation of BPJS service users at AN-NISA Hospital, Tangerang.

Hope is a crucial issue in patients with cancer. Hope can be increased by providing social support. Social support can be obtained from the nurses caring behavior. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between nurses caring behavior and recovery hope level of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy program at Baladhika Husada Hospital in Jember. A cross-sectional study was conducted to 112 respondents using the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI-24) questionnaire and Scale of Hope. The data were analyzed applying the Kendall Tau B (τ) correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between nurses caring behavior with the level of recovery expectancy of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy programs at Baladhika Husada Hospital in Jember (p-value <0.001; τ = 0.375). Nurse caring behavior increases patient comfort and makes patients more enthusiastic about undergoing therapy. Patients feel valued and get more information from nurses. Therefore, the patient's recovery hopes can increase. This study concludes that nurses caring behavior can increase the expectation of recovery of cancer patients. Abstrak Harapan adalah hal krusial pada pasien kanker. Harapan dapat ditingkatkan dengan pemberian dukungan sosial yang bisa didapat dari perilaku caring perawat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan perilaku caring perawat dengan tingkat harapan sembuh pasien kanker yang menjalani program kemoterapi di Rumah Sakit Baladhika Husada Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional dan 112 responden didapatkan dengan teknik sampel purposive samping. Data didapatkan melalui kuesioner CBI-24 dan kuesioner skala harapan. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall Tau B (τ). Hasil menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara perilaku caring perawat dengan tingkat harapan sembuh pasien kanker yang menjalani program kemoterapi di Rumah Sakit Baladhika Husada Jember (p value < 0,001; τ = 0,375). Perilaku caring perawat dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan pasien dan membuat pasien lebih semangat menjalankan terapi yang dijalani. Pasien merasa dinilai dan mendapatkan informasi lebih dari perawat. Maka dari itu, harapan sembuh pasien dapat meningkat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku caring perawat dapat meningkatkan harapan sembuh pasien kanker.

Perilaku caring perawat penting dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan, karena perawat  tidak hanya dituntut untuk melakukan skill atau keterampilan dan pengetahuan saja. Perilaku caring perawat kepada pasien berdampak besar bagi layanan rumah sakit karena akan menimbulkan kepuasan pasien. Caring pada dasarnya perilaku perawat yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik perawat. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik perawat dengan perilaku caring perawat di RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan desainkorelasional dengan pendekatancross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling  sebanyak132 perawat di RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. Alat penelitian menggunakan kuesionerkarakteristik danCaring Behavior Investment (CBI) Questionnaire yang dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara umur (pvalue= 0,000), dan masa kerja (pvalue= 0,001) dengan perilaku caring perawat, sedangkan jenis kelamin (pvalue= 0,107), pendidikan (pvalue= 0,055), dan status pernikahan (pvalue= 0,117) tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan. Usia yang lebih dewasa dan semakin lama masa kerja perawat maka semakin baik perilaku caring perawat, sedangkan jenis kelamin, pendidikan, dan status pernikahan tidak membedakan perilaku caring perawat. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan mengembangkan faktor internal dan eksternal perawat. Kata kunci: Karakteristik Perawat, Perilaku Caring RELATIONSHIP OF CARE CHARACTERISTICS WITH CARING BEHAVIOR ABSTRACTNurses caring behavior important in nursing care, as nurses are not only required to perform the skill or skills and knowledge alone. The behavior of the nurses caring for patients with major implications for hospital services because it will cause the patient satisfaction. Caring nurse whose behavior is basically influenced by the characteristics of nurses. The purpose of this study to determine the characteristics of the relationship with the nurse caring behaviors of nurses in hospitals Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. This study uses a correlational design with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were taken by using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling 132 nurses at the Hospital Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. Research tool questionnaire characteristics and Caring Behavior Investment (CBI) Questionnaire were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi square test. The results showed no significant relationship between age (pvalue= 0.000), and the work period (pvalue = 0.001) with the nurse caring behaviors, whereas gender (pvalue = 0.107), education (pvalue = 0.055), and marital status (pvalue = 0.117) did not show a significant relationship. The more mature age and the longer the nurse's working period the better the caring behavior of the nurse, while the sex, education, and marital status do not distinguish the caring behavior of the nurse. The phenomenon that is happening now is that many nurses pay little attention to safety and comfort and are not concerned with patient complaints so that patients are less satisfied in the nursing services provided. This study aims to determine the relationship of nurses caring behavior with the level of patient satisfaction in the Seruni care room at H. A. Sulthan Hospital Dg Radja Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is an analytic observational study with a "cross sectional" approach. Samples were 96 inpatients in Seruni. Sampling in this study was conducted with non-probability sampling techniques with consecutive sampling. Data collection is done through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed with Chi-Square. The results of the Chi-Square analysis showed that there was a relationship between nurses' caring behavior and patient satisfaction (p = 0.001). The results of the analysis of the strength of the relationship indicate the direction of a positive correlation with the strength of a strong correlation.

Background and purpose: Patient satisfaction, including on radiography services, is an important component of health care provision. Surveys on patient satisfaction have been carried out particularly in government hospitals, but a more detailed study to determine the relationship between patient satisfaction with the responsiveness of service providers has yet to be carried out. This study aims to determine the relationship between the six domains of responsiveness of service providers and outpatient satisfaction at three conventional radiography facilities in Denpasar.Methods: Study was conducted by cross-sectional survey of 158 respondents selected consecutively in three conventional radiography services, namely a government hospital, a private hospital and a private radiology clinic. Data were collected through interviews using modified questionnaires on responsiveness from WHO. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate (chi-square test) and multivariate logistic regression method.Results: Univariate analysis indicated that patient satisfaction was 69% but still below the minimum service standards (>80,0%). Multivariate analysis showed that factors associated with satisfaction were the domain of attention (AOR= 3.77; 95%CI: 1.62-8.76), the quality of infrastructure (AOR=4.57; 95%CI: 1.61-12.93) and communication (AOR=6.30; 95%CI: 1.75-22.64).Conclusion: Patient satisfaction was generally still below the standard. Domains of responsiveness associated with patient satisfaction were the quality of infrastructure, level of attention and communication skills of service providers.

Nurse caring behaviors and patient satisfaction: The impact of patients experience at Bukit Kemuning inpatient public health centreBackground: The results of the pre-survey conducted on January - 2019 based on the medical records of the Bukit Kemuning Inpatient Health Center in North Lampung recorded in 2018 had of 279 inpatients. Base on evaluation in Bukit Kemuning Inpatient Health Center, the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) achievement scored of 67.29% describes the service quality is still suboptimal.Purpose: Knowing relationship between nurses' caring behavior towards patient satisfaction in Bukit Kemuning Inpatient Health Centre North Lampung RegencyMethod: A quantitative cross-sectional approach, the population of all outpatient who had experienced hospitalization at Bukit Kemuning Inpatient Health Center, with a sample of 282 respondent. The variables of this study were nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction. The research conducted at the Bukit Kemuning Inpatient Health Center UPT North Lampung Regency. data collection using a questionnaire. Hasil pra survey yang dilakukan tanggal 5 – 9 Januari 2019  berdasarkan data rekam medis Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara  tercatat tahun 2018 jumlah pasien yang melakukan kunjungan rawat jalan sebesar 11.169 orang dan rawat inap sebanyak 279 orang. Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara  Standar SPM > 90 % dengan hasil capaian hanya 67, 29% sehingga dapat menggambarkan mutu pelayanan masih belum optimal.Tujuan : Diketahui  hubungan perilaku caring perawat terhadap kepuasan pasien di UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara  tahun 2019Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif pendekatan Cross Sectional, populasi seluruh pengunjung Puskesmas, dengan sampel berjumlah 282 orang Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perilaku caring perawat dan kepuasan pasien. Penelitian dilakukan di UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara. bulan Januari – Juni  2019 . pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data secara univariat dan bivariat (chi square).Hasil: Diketahui pernyataan responden tentang perawat yang menunjukkan perilaku caring kategori buruk, sebesar 162 (57,4%) responden, kepuasan keluarga pasien kurang puas, sebesar 140 (49,4%) responden, Ada  hubungan antara perilaku caring perawat terhadap tingkat kepuasan keluarga pasien di UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara  tahun 2019 (p-value=0,000,0,05, OR=4,659)Simpulan: Ada  hubungan antara perilaku caring perawat terhadap tingkat kepuasan keluarga pasien di UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Bukit Kemuning  Kabupaten Lampung Utara  tahun 2019, bagi pihak manajemen Puskesmas sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk mengadakan pelatihan perilaku caring perawat guna meningkatkan pelayanan pasien.

Perilaku caring dipandang sebagai bagian penting dari keperawatan dan sebagai kompetensi yang diharapkan pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Kelompok teman sebaya sangat berguna dalam menyediakan lingkungan di mana mahasiswa keperawatan dapat belajar caring. Dukungan sosial juga penting untuk pengembangan profesional dan pribadi mahasiswa keperawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan peer caring behavior dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi sarjana keperawatan sebanyak 250 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari semester 4, 6 dan 8 teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan perilaku caring diadaptasi dari kuesioner Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) dan kuesioner Peer Caring Behavior Scale serta Social Support Questionnaire. Hasil: Rata-rata peer caring behaviors 63,1, rata-rata dukungan sosial 16,5, rata-rata  perilaku caring 129,3, ada hubungan peer caring behavior dengan perilaku caring (r=0,269, p=0,015) dan hubungan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring (r=0,215, p=0,01). Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan antara peer caring behavior dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring.  Pendidik harus mendorong pelaksanaan perilaku caring diantara teman sebaya di kalangan mahasiswa sebagai sarana memfasilitasi hubungan mahasiswa dengan pasien dan keluarganya di masa yang akan datang. Pendidik juga mempertimbangkan peran potensial yang berkembang dari teknologi media sosial sebagai sumber dukungan sosial yang dapat diakses dan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam peningkatan perilaku caring. Kata Kunci: peer caring behaviors; dukungan sosial; perilaku caring  mahasiswa keperawatan  PEER CARING BEHAVIORS AND SOCIAL SUPPORT TOWARDS CARING BEHAVIOR OF BACHELOR NURSING STUDENTS AT FACULTY OF HEALTH HARAPAN BANGSA UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT Caring behavior is seen as an important part of nursing and as an expected competency in nursing students. Peer groups are very useful in providing an environment in which nursing students can learn caring. Social support is also important for the professional and personal development of nursing students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between peer caring behavior and social support towards nursing students' caring behavior. This research was a descriptive correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 250 undergraduate nursing students consisting of semesters 4, 6 and 8. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used caring behavior was adapted from the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) questionnaire and the Peer Caring Behavior Scale questionnaire and the Social Support Questionnaire. The average of peer caring behavior was 63.1, the average social support was 16.5, the average caring behavior was 129.3, it is stated that there is a relationship between peer caring behavior and caring behavior (r = 0.269, p = 0.015) and the relationship between social support and caring behavior (r = 0.215, p = 0.01). There is a relationship between peer caring behavior and social support with caring behavior. Educators must encourage the implementation of caring behavior among students as a means of facilitating student relations with patients and their families in the future. Educators also consider the developing potential role of social media technology as an accessible source of social support and as a learning medium in enhancing caring behavior. Keywords: peer caring behavior; social support; caring behavior; nursing student’s caring behaviour

Rampant cases of child sexual abuse in Indonesia to be the most worrying at this time, this was due to the lack of parents inintroducing reproductive system to children early because it was considered as taboo, parents only introduces the name of non genital parts of the body. In the city of Bengkulu sexual abuse of children each year increase. This study aimed to know the relationship between knowledge and the role of mothers in the introduction of the reproductive system early at the age of preschool children (3-5 years) in Beringin Raya Health Center.This study used a descriptive analytic method with cross sectional rangcangan. The population of this study were mothers of preschool children (3-5 years) in Beringi Raya Health Center Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling with data analysis using univariate and bivariate.Univariate analysis research results obtained over the majority of respondents (56.0%) had less knowledge about the reproductive system, the majority of respondents (72.0%) had less good role, and the majority of respondents (70.30%) were less in giving recognition to their reproductive system and test results statictik chi-square value of ρ value of knowledge gained 0,047 and the role ρ values obtained value of 0.021. Expected to teachers in kindergartens to provide education about reproduction on children and mothers of students to introduce the reproductive organs.

Introduction: Education and behavior (knowledge, attitudes and actions) about healthy living are important things, especially applied in life, so as not to fall sick so that they can carry out activities properly. Worldwide, there are more than 2500 species of mosquitoes, although most of these mosquito species are not associated with disease. Larva eradication practice can be done with 3M plus. The role of the community in eradicating mosquito nests is prioritized by housewives because they are generally responsible for taking care of the household including household hygiene problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education and knowledge with the behavior of housewives in eradicating mosquito nests. The method used was cross-sectional analytic, the sampling technique used simple random sampling and inclusion criteria in order to obtain 50 respondents. Data analysis used Chi-Square with a significant level of 95% with a significance value of 5%. Results: Respondents with higher education and good behavior were 73.1%. Respondents with low education and bad behavior were 70.8%. Respondents with good knowledge and good behavior were 75%, respondents with bad knowledge and bad behavior were 77.3%. Conclusion: There is a relationship between education and the behavior of housewives in eradicating mosquito nests, and there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior of housewives in eradicating mosquito nests. ABSTRCT  Background: Patient satisfaction is one of the factors used to evaluate the quality of service in the hospital, and is one of the factors determining the image of a health service institution. Nursing service satisfaction is obtained from consumer assessments regarding the quality and performance of the benefits received from products or services. Quality nursing services can be realized through the provision of nursing care based on the caring behavior of nurses. Caring behavior must always be carried out by nurses in all conditions, even during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the preliminary study conducted, Elisabeth 4's inpatient room was the room that experienced the lowest decrease in customer satisfaction. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic in Elisabeth 4 Hospital's inpatient room. Panti Rapih, Yogyakarta. Methods: This type of research is a descriptive correlation. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. Using non probability sample techniques, purposive sample. The sample used was 37 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that is given directly to the respondent in Januari 2021 sampai Februari 2021. Results: The highest nurse caring behavior was in the good category, 83.8% of the total respondents. The highest level of satisfaction is "Satisfied" 54.1% of the total respondents and "Very Satisfied" as much as 43.2% of the total respondents. Based on the results of the Spearman rho test, P value 0.007 is, this means that there is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction. The Correlation Coefficient value is positive, which indicates that there is a strong relationship between nurse caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction. The direction of the positive correlation shows that the higher the nurse's caring behavior, the higher the patient's satisfaction in nursing services. Suggestion: It is necessary for nurses to increase knowledge, attitudes and skills especially when carrying out their role as executor of professional nursing actions. Panti Rapih Hospital management should continue to encourage the spirit of caring behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic, by improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of nurses so that nurses can provide professional nursing services.
