The ancestor worship is one of the most enduring traditions among the Karakalpaks and is still practiced today in many Karakalpak clans. This phenomenon is an important part of the culture, extending beyond the boundaries of a particular religion or complex of beliefs. The ancestor veneration is based on the notion that the human spirit continues to exist after death and is able to influence lives of the living. In the modern spiritual life of the Karakalpak people, the cult of their ancestors is preserved not only among the older generation, but also among young people who are actively involved in celebratory rituals. However, individual traditions and rituals associated with animistic beliefs, in particular with the veneration of ancestors, have transformed in recent decades. According to the collected information, globalization, urbanization processes and changes in the socio-economic life of the society are responsible for these changes

A sociological analysis of the factors of integration of young generations into active economic life is based on a study of the values of young people in relation to employment and professional growth. The information society has two key parameters that influence the construction of the trajectory of educational, professional, labor or entrepreneurial activity — the significant role of knowledge in creating value and the digital space as a source of information and the place for individuals to fulfill themselves in society and the social and professional community. A theoretical analysis of labor socialization allows researchers to move on to the results of empirical studies carried out with the participation of authors in 2017 and 2019-2020. The data obtained are evaluative in nature and allow authors to draw conclusions about the influence of the media space on young people entering working age taking decisions on choosing a profession and a form of economic activity, planning employment and career growth.

The present article introduces the results of the analysis of texts by Czech (Catholic) Christian young adults published in 2019 and 2020 on the website signaly.cz. This page is intended to unite Christians and support them in their faith. The texts are diverse in genre, their content is purely religious or secular, but it at least remotely touches on the issues of the spiritual life of man or his/her religiosity (“soft spirituality”). Posting on the internet testifies to the need for young people not only to strengthen themselves and others in their faith in God, but also to share trivial content that relates to daily life and behind which (in the background) they see God’s will, the expression of God’s love and wisdom.

Abstract. The  Condition of Spiritual Life During The Majapahit Era Based on  Written Sources and Archeological Data. The most profound spiritual life in Majapahit was evidenced by the omnipresence of religious centers where people worship certain figures,  which were considered the saviors of the world when  Hindu and Buddha's teachings were fading away.    Scholars named the spirituals condition at the end of the  Majapahit era "the symptom of millenarism".  It  was  during  this  era that  the  indigenous  belief or local  religion was  revived in  anticipation  of the  coming of innovations of Islam. The  tribute to  this indigenous belief took  place in remote   and  quiet  places, which are isolated  in the forests and  confined within mountain ranges, similar  to  a certain kind  of padepokan (residence  of priests  and  hermits)  in  shadow  puppet stories.    In  this   local  cult,  Bhima  figure  is  addressed  as  the  main   symbol  in  the  ritual  of  exorcism (ruwat) and  redemption (kaleupasan). Therefore, currently ruwaran is one  of the  most  very  important elements of this  local  belief.  Bhima figure is attributed as  a "spiritual  hero" because he passed through several  stages before  finding spiritual  enlightenment an transformed  himself from a worldly entity into an enlightened being.   He has  also  experienced an  ultimate union with  god (Kowuta  Gusti,  which   rs  a union of Suksma  or self onto  Maha  Suksma  or god).  This elements  of belief is  similar  to that  of Hindu  Dewaruci epic.    It  is evident, then,  that  in the spiritual  life during the  Majapahit era there was  a harmony among all religions and  local  beliefs,  which was  the  nucleus of Javanese  mentality  since  the  beginning of time  when  ancestor worship was  practiced.

Striving to completely explain the concept of entrepreneurship we have to look into the workof three fields of science: economics, sociology and psychology. Among the skills and qualitiesnecessary for an entrepreneur they name the following: readiness and ability to make decisions, creative approach to problem solving, courage, creativity, resourcefulness, persistence and wil-lingness to work. Therefore the teachers of entrepreneurship have to pass on to their studentsspecific knowledge and skills useful for their participation in social and economic life, as wellas encourage certain qualities and attitudes concerned with taking advantage of opportunitiesand openness to novelty under all circumstances, not necessarily as an entrepreneur. Choosingthe teaching methods, it is worth to get to know the opinions and expectations of your studentsconcerning the skills they consider important and necessary on the Polish job market. I havebeen looking into this issue with final year students for several years. It turns out that the pre-ferences of young people who are getting ready to enter the job market are changing and te-achers should react to this fact. One of the latest tendencies is to put more emphasis on gettingskills and later knowledge. Furthermore, students realize that even when they possess knowledge, they should also have the ability to make use of it.

The paper explores the relationship between the religious identity and the ethnic and national identities of Old Believer youth in Latvia. This case is of particular interest in providing an in-depth insight into the intersection of ethnicity, nationality and religion, as the Old Believers are an ethnic and religious minority living in Latvia. Applying the concepts of multiple identities, this article explores the role of religion played in the integration of identity among young people belonging to the Old Believer religious community: their self-understanding as a composition of intersecting identities that influence each other; the manifestations of the intersection of various identities; the relationship of identity integration to religion. The analysis is based on the findings of ethnographic research conducted in the Old Believer youth group in Daugavpils (Latvia) within a framework of the international project “Cultural Heritage and Identities of Europe’s Future”, funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program under Grant Agreement No. 770464. The author has highlighted that today’s rapid changes are leading to identity crisis: an individual faces difficulty in shaping and maintaining a stable identity, since economic life is becoming increasingly unpredictable and communities are becoming fragmented. The identity of Latvian Old Believer youth forms and develops in a local cultural context, and is affected by the social change. The qualitative data collected during the fieldwork provided a useful resource for an analysis of belonging, the crucial factor in the formation of identity for Old Believer youth. As the voices of young people in this study reveal, three types of belonging characterize Old Believer youth: their ethnicity, which interacts with national belonging in a complex way; the local belonging, which is stronger than the global one; the European belonging, which conflicts with national belonging and ethnicity.

This paper explores which classroom and teacher factors are associated with post-16 mathematics aspirations, mathematics intrinsic motivation, and mathematics self-concept. Few studies explore all three outcomes among the same set of students or make linkages across the factors that are important to these outcomes. The analysis is based on the survey responses of 761 Year 8 (age 13) and 715 Year 10 (age 15) students from 17 London schools as learners of mathematics. The analysis indicates that teaching for engagement is important for intrinsic mathematics motivation but not for future mathematics aspirations. In addition, students' emotional responses to mathematics lessons are important for their mathematics self-concept but not for future mathematics aspirations. Advice-pressure to continue with mathematics post-16, extrinsic material gain motivation, and mathematics self-concept underpin mathematics aspirations (even after controlling for the support students received from their families in mathematics attainment). The gender difference within mathematics self-concept among these young Londoners was higher than that found across England, although there were substantially fewer gender differences in relation to questions that explored students' perceptions of their mathematics lessons and teachers. The article concludes with some suggestions for both national and London policymakers because the study of mathematics is seen as of considerable importance to both young people and the economic life of the capital.

Cognition of time is one of the fundamental tasks of philosophy and science. We can say that the progress of society was to a large extent ensured by the acquisition of the idea of time by mankind. Without the knowledge of time, neither the economic nor the spiritual life of society would be feasible. For the economic life of society, time is periods of work in the field of agriculture, the establishment of work regimes, etc. For the spiritual activity of people, time is the “historyˮ of society, cultures, civilizations, the regulation of traditional rituals, holidays, the secret of life, death and immortality of people, etc. If the economic life of people makes a demand for the knowledge of time, due to the nature of human existence that striving for cognition of time itself, for the purpose of spiritual enrichment, without being mediated by pragmatic demands, is one of the secrets of the human mind. Philosophy is that specific form of cognition that ensures the satisfaction of a person's need for knowledge of the essence of the world and its existence in time, the essence of the temporal existence of society and man and the essence of time itself. The article examines the study of time that has developed in the philosophical tradition in the aspect of epistemological alternatives to empiricism and rationalism. The analysis of the concepts of time given in the works of modern thinkers is given. A variant of the nomological concept of time is proposed and substantiated.

In modern Russian society, there is a deep gap between political activity and active political communication with young people, bringing information to this target audience. Political leaders are the force that is able to convey to people values and guidelines, the meaning of life, to show the way to the future, to lead for the implementation of the necessary changes in the social, political, and economic life of society. However, the established methods of communication are not effective, as a generation has grown up with different social ideas about political leaders and other communication needs. This article is devoted to the study of the interaction of political leaders with young people through the mass media at the current stage of development of Russian society. The paper considers the theoretical foundations of the research of the youth audience. As a result of a comprehensive study, the author revealed the awareness of young people about current politicians. The article takes as a basis the names of politicians from the top 100 most influential politicians in Russia, according to the Agency for Political and Economic Communications. The first part of the research is devoted to the study of the value orientations of modern youth. The paper reveals the problems in communication between modern politicians and young people, investigates the information channels used by young people to receive current political news. The most important source of political information for the youth audience is the Internet and social networks. This is due to the increasing role of social networks in the global communication processes in general, as well as the involvement of the youth audience in the media consumption of social network content. Young people see the greatest communication problems in the status and financial gap between current politicians and youth groups, as well as the difference in value orientations and the age barrier. For a comparative analysis of the data, the sample was divided according to the criteria of age (respondents were divided into three age groups) and gender.

The article is devoted to the goals of sustainable development aimed at achieving economic growth in the world, creating conditions for stimulating the economy in order to expand the boundaries of business activity of young people, achieve the principles of competitiveness and the demand for specialists in the labor market. It is proved that the favorable criteria for economic achievements are the level of education of the population, its mobile susceptibility to critical thinking and self-motivation. Attention is focused on the key importance of education necessary for sustainable development, ensuring the formation of citizens' knowledge, skills, attitudes and values for their active participation in social and economic life.
