ABSTRAK Biasanya lirik lagu memiliki makna tersendiri yang menjadi ciri khas dari lagu tersebut. Lirik lagu ada yang bertemakan cinta, keluarga, mengungkapkan rasa senang maupun rasa sedih dari penciptanya.  Sama halnya denga lirik lagu dari Aut Boi Nian yang digunakan dalam sountrack film Toba Dreams yang menceritakan tentang cinta yang ditentang oleh keluarga dikarenakan alasan faktor ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis semiotika Ferdinan De Saussure tentang lirik yang ada dalam lagu tersebut. Menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan sifat penelitian deskriptif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini memberikan makna pada lirik terkait tentang Signifier (penanda) dan signified (petanda), Form (bentuk) dan content (isi), Langue (bahasa) dan parole (tuturan/ujaran), Synchronic (sinkronik) dan diachronic (diakronik), Syntagmatic (sintagmatik) dan associative (paradigmatik). Keyword: Makna Cinta, Lirik Lagu, Aut Boi Nian, Semiotika, Semiotika Ferdinan De Saussure. ABSTRACT Generally the song lyrics have their own meaning that is characteristic of the song. Song lyrics there are themed love, family, expressing the feeling of pleasure and sadness of the creator. Likewise, the song lyrics from Aut Boi Nian used in the Toba Dreams movie soundtrack tell about love that is opposed by families due to economic reasons. This study uses Ferdinan De Saussure's semiotic analysis of the lyrics contained in the song. Using the constructivist paradigm with a qualitative research approach and the nature of descriptive research. The results in this study give meaning to the lyrics related to Signifier and signified, Form and content, Langue (language) and parole (speech / utterance), Synchronic (synchronous) and diachronic (diachronic) ), Syntagmatic (syntagmatic) and associative (paradigmatic). This study aims to identify factors causing the shift function of Radio Suara Surabaya. This research also explains the reason for the shift to occur. In examining the shift of Radio Suara Surabaya function from its original function and why the shift occurred, the researcher uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. In the early stages of this study, the researchers identified the initial function of the establishment of Radio Suara Surabaya as an information radio. Furthermore, it describes the shift of voice function of Radio Suara Surabaya into a grievance function. Finally the researchers identified the reason for the radio function shift. At the stage to maintain the credibility of research data, researchers conducted data triangulation by conducting literature studies on radio and radio management.

Traditional Balinese architecture is a regional architecture that needs to be preserved in this globalization era. The knowledge and implementation of Balinese architecture is also increasingly diminished as the modernity influences the building (architecture). This is followed by the presence of a present-day architectural style dominated by minimalist architecture. The application of Balinese architecture today can only be found in the application of ornaments in the building façade. There are several types of traditional Balinese buildings that still survive until now such as Bale Dangin, Bale Meten/sakutus, Bale Dauh, Jineng/Kelumpu, Paon and others, the building is still surviving in terms of shape, function, and materials used since the first time. Bale Dangin serves as a place of ceremonies, so it is vital to the life of Balinese people who practice Hinduism. Therefore, it is necessary to do the effort to preserve and keep the cultural values of Bale Dangin. The research on Bale Dangin was conducted based on the lack of references that discussed the Bale Dangin thoroughly. This research also aims to determine the peculiarities of the building of Bale Dangin Sakenem seen from philosophical value, ethics and ritual, and get a form of guidelines regarding the building of Bale Dangin Sakenem which can be used as reference in designing or constructing the Bale Dangin Sakenem building. The research approach used in this research is based on qualitative descriptive research methods. Qualitative research intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perception, motivation, action, holistically and with descriptions in the form of words and language in a particular context that Nature and by utilizing a variety of natural methods. The method of descriptive qualitative research on this study was used to describe the facts in the field related to the condition of Bale Bale Dangin Sakenem in the case study used, judging by the function of building, form, layout, as well as Development process from the beginning until the building is ready to be occupied. This research is expected to produce a special reference to the Bale building of the sakenem in a traditional Balinese house seen from the philosophical value, ethics and ritual and construction process. Indirectly, this can also preserve Balinese architecture that is in accordance with philosophy and meaning

Song lyrics are basically part  of literary works, they belong to poetry type literary works because both have  similarities in their elements. So the analysis of the meaning of the lyrics of the song  Al Barq Al Yamani which was popularized by Nissa Sabyan and Adam Ali is carried  out using a semiotic analysis of Michael Riffaterre's model which focuses on poetry  analysis (song lyrics). This study aims to find the meaning ofsong lyrics Al Barq Al Yamani's by  describing (1) the unsustainability of the expression, (2) heuristic reading, (3)  hermeneutic reading, (4) matrix, model and variant, and (5) hypogram. This research  is a descriptive-qualitative research with a semiotic approach and the lyrics of the song  Al Barq Al Yamani as its corpus. The design used in this research is library research.The results of this study are as follows. (1) the continuity of expressions  includes: (a) displacing of meaning shown through the use of personified figurative  language, metaphor and synecdiction, (b) distorsing of meaning through ambiguity and  nonsense, (c) creating of meaning caused by rhyme, enjambement and typography (2)  The heuristic reading describes the longing and desires of a person (writer) for his  lover. (3) Hermeneutic reading describes the longing and desires of a person (writer)  for his lover, namely the Prophet Muhammad SAW. A depiction of longing to meet  and hope to be by his side. (4) Matrix: Prophet Muhammad SAW, model: longings and  desires, as well as variants that spread throughout the verse. (5) Hypogram consists of  potential and actual hypograms

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan media Teams dan Whatsapp Group pada pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 1 Belik. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang disampaikan oleh guru mata pelajaran yang diperoleh dari aplikasi Teams dan Watsapp Group mata pelajaran yang diampu serta angket pendapat siswa tentang pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan.  Berdasarkan angket pendapat siswa tentang  media pembelajaran daring yang efektif  didapatkan hasil dari responden peserta didik sebanyak 297, memberikan pendapat tentang media yang paling efektif dalam pembelajaran daring dengan pendapat sebagai berikut:  163 pesert didik memilih media Teams dan Whatsapp Group, 110 peserta didik memilih media Whatsapp Group, dan 24 speserta didik memilih media Teams. Dari angket peserta didik juga diketahui tentang aktivitas diskusi yang diadakan guru melalui Teams dan Whatsapp Group dengan hasil sebagai berikut: pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Teams menarik sebanyak 153 peserta didik, pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Teams kurang menarik sebanyak 129 peserta didik, dan pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Teams tidak menarik sebanyak 15 peserta didik. Sedangkan pendapat siswa tentang diskusi dengan media Whatsapp Group dengan hasil sebagai berikut: pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Whatsapp Group menarik sebanyak 244 peserta didik, pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Whatsapp Group kurang sebanyak 51 peserta didik, dan pilihan bahwa diskusi dalam Whatsapp Group tidak menarik sebanyak 2 peserta didik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa media Teams dan Whatsapp Group menjadi media yang efektif dalam pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 1 Belik.Kata Kunci: Media,  Teams, Whatsapp GroupAbstractThis study aims to determine and describe the effectiveness of using the Teams and Whatsapp Group media in online learning at  SMA Negeri 1 Belik. The research methode used a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. The data collection tool in this study based on the result of evaluation the implementation of online learning delivered by the subject teacher obtained Teams and  Whatsapp Group application of the subject being taught and a questionnaire on student opinions about  online learning that has been implemented. Based on questionnaire on students’ opinions about effective online learning media, the results obtained were 297 student respondens, giving opinions about the most effective media in online with the following opinions: 163 student chose  Teams and Whatsapp Group media, 110 student chose   Whatsapp Group media, and 24 student chose Teams media. From the student questionnaire  it was also known about discussion activities helt by the teacher trough Teams and Whatsaap Group with the following results: the choice that discussions in Teams  attracted as many as 153 students, the choice that discussions in Teams  were less interesting were 129 students, and  , the choice that discussions in Teams  were less interesting Teams doesn’t attract as many as 15  students. While students’ opinions about discussions in the  Whatsapp Group media with the following results: the choice that discussions in the Whatsapp Group  attracted as many as  244 students, the choice that discussions in the Whatsapp Group was less than 51 students, and  the choice that discussions in Whatsapp Group   did not attract as many as 2 students. So is concluded that the  Teams and Whatsapp Group media a effective in online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Belik.Keywords: Media,  Teams, Whatsapp Group

This research attempts to answer several problems which include: 1) How is the proposal for the Pangantan Ngindring tradition at the traditional wedding ceremony of the Sumbawa Nation in Moyo Hilir District, Sumbawa Regency, 2) The function of the Pangantan Ngindring Tradition in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Sumbawa people in Moyo Hilir District in the Regency Sumbawa, 3) How is the continuity of the Pangantan Ngindring tradition in the midst of community life in Moyo Hilir District. The purpose of this study is to describe the origin of the Pangantan Ngindring tradition at the traditional wedding ceremony of the Sumbawa Tribe in Moyo Hilir District, describe and analyze the function of Pangantan Ngindring in the traditional Sumbawa ethnic wedding ceremony in Moyo Hilir District and describe and analyze the continuity of the Pangantan Ngindring tradition in the midst of life. the people of Moyo Hilir sub-district. This research uses a qualitative research approach and is included in the type of descriptive research. The data collection methods used in this study are: observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis which will provide a continuous picture from beginning to end in order to obtain a description of the Pangantan Ngindring tradition. In this study, checking the validity of the data using techniques: observation persistence, mode triangulation and theory triangulation, adequacy of references. This study found that the origin of the Pangantan Ngindring tradition was from the habits of the Sumbawa people, especially those in Moyo Hilir District, to match their children with family or relatives. Therefore, neither party knows each other. In order to avoid unwanted things in married life, such as quarrels or divorces, the Pangantan Ngindring tradition was held. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendreskripsikan asal usul tradisi Pangantan Ngindring pada upacara perkawinan adat, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis fungsi Pangantan Ngindring pada upacara perkawinan adat serta mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kelangsungan tradisi Pangantan Ngindring ditengah kehidupan masyarakat kecamatan Moyo Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini pengecekan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan tehnik: ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi mode dan triangulasi teori, kecukupan referensi. Penelitian ini mendapat hasil bahwa asal usul tradisi Pangantan Ngindring adalah bermula dari kebiasaan masyarakat Sumbawa khususnya masyarakat yang berada di Kecamatan Moyo Hilir untuk menjodohkan anaknya dengan keluarga atau kerabat. Oleh karena itu kedua belah pihak tidak ada yang saling mengenal satu sama lain. Guna menghindari hal hal yang tidak diinginkan dalam kehidupan berumah tangga, misalnya seperti pertengkaran maupun perceraian, maka diadakanlah tradisi Pangantan Ngindring.

Kinesthetic learning styles is the acquisition of learning information by touching and moving. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process of children with kinesthetic learning styles. This research approach uses descriptive research and qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of playing learning FEV children are very fond of learning through touch, the advantages possessed are being actively exploring the environment, having self-confidance, and obstacles experienced by the FEV unable to focus on learning goals because they are easily disturbed by sounds or objects in around.Gaya belajar kinestetik merupakan pemerolehan informasi belajar dengan proses menyentuh dan bergerak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses belajar anak dengan gaya belajar kinestetik. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian bersifat deskriptif dan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bermain dan belajar anak FEV sangat menyukai belajar melalui sentuhan, kelebihan yang dimiliki adalah aktif bereksplorasi lingkungan, mempunyai rasa percaya diri dan hambatan yang dialami FEV tidak dapat fokus pada tujuan belajar karena mudah terganggu oleh suara-suara atau benda di sekitar.

Pondok Pesantren is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia. The significance of the kiai's role in the boarding school is directly proportional to his leadership in managing and directing the entire community in his cottage, especially the students and their influence in society. While the model in leading his Islamic boarding school, each kiai has his own method for advancing his pesantren. This happened because of the kiai's focus on developing his boarding school and the environmental conditions of the surrounding community. This article was describe how the leadership role of kiai in Islamic boarding schools in developing the institutions. This research  was descriptive research methods with a qualitative research approach. The main finding in the researcher was the figure of a kiai with his charismatic character that able to have a positive effect in the development of the Islamic boarding schools. This research background of how the style of language in the lyrics of Mandar song because of today many of the Mandar song lovers who lack understanding of the meaning that is in the lyrics Mandar song. The purpose of this research was to describe the fact of lyrics and identify the style of language in the lyrics of the song Mandar. This research applied descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive research was a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written words about the nature of individuals, circumstances, symptoms of certain groups that can be observed. The study, which began in September 2015 to January 2016, was unbound by space. In this study, it was found that the most commonly used hyperbola, asonation, and repetition style. Concluding remarks of the study were 174 lyric styles consisting of 8 personatic language styles, 6 metaphorical language styles, 7 simile / comparison language styles, 10 depersonative language styles, hyperbolic language styles, 7 parallelism languages, 4 style alliteration, 109 asonance and 17 repetition language styles.

Speaking is one of the skills in mastering English that must be taught and learned in senior high school. The problem based learning (PBL) is an appropriate strategy to assist the students in their speaking skills learning. Cognitive perspective also takes accountability on this research due to students’ perspective toward the PBL that moreover influences their speaking skills. The purpose of the research is to explore students’ perception about problem based learning also to discover the phase in PBL that delivers students’ cognitive aspect in the speaking classroom at the second year students of SMAN 1 Karawang. Qualitative research was used as the research approach with descriptive research as the method of this research. This research took place at SMAN 1 Karawang by taking the XI IPA 5 class as the sample with six research participants. They were chosen by purposive sampling. All of the data was gathered through observation, student’s reflection journals, and documentation. It was found that the use of PBL technique was able to assist the constraints of students in solving a problem along the way with their cognitive perspective while speaking it out. Moreover, the researcher also discovers that PBL and cognitive perspective hold strong intercourse between each other, the phase in PBL goes along with human mental processes particularly in cognitive views. Furthermore, it shows how PBL assists students in their problem-solving skills with their cognitive views and how it triggered them so they can elaborate on it in front of the class. PBL and speaking activity were two items that always go right together.

This research is motivated by how the Furniture Skills Training Activities organized by the Karawang Class IIA prison take place. This furniture skills training activity is a part of the coaching program at the institute. With the aim that the fostered citizens are more skilled and more formed daily character both in the prison environment and when later after being free of sentence. This research approach used is qualitative research with descriptive research type. With the subject of research 1 prison officer, 1 instructor and 2 prisoners who participated in furniture skills training activities. The instrument used is Observation, Interview and documentation so that the expected data can be obtained optimally. The results obtained in this study are: 1) knowing the process of furniture skills training held by class IIA prison in Karawang . 2) find out the inhibiting factors for furniture skills training for prisoners in class IIA prison in Karawang. 3) find out the results achieved for prisoners in class IIA prison in KarawangKeywords: fostering skills in prisons, furniture training in prisons
