The medical condition of the higher-education teaching personnel of the university is reflected in the quality of the educational process in the educational institution and, as a consequence, in the formation of professional competencies of future graduates. It is known that workers in the fields of education and health care more than others are subject to stress, physical inactivity and, as a result, professional (emotional) burnout. The present study is devoted to the study of the state of health, activity, mood, professional (emotional) burnout of the teaching staff of a medical university, assessment of the intensity of their work process, professional risk. The study of well-being, activity, mood, professional (emotional) burnout was carried out using a questionnaire survey using well-known methods. The assessment of the intensity of the labor process was carried out in accordance with the Guidelines for the assessment of occupational health risks for workers. The assessment of occupational risk categories was carried out in accordance with the Guidelines for Assessing Occupational Risk for Workers' Health, as well as using a matrix of consequences and probabilities according to GOST Risk Management. Risk assessment technologies. It was found that the working conditions of the teaching staff of a medical university are tense 2 degrees. Evaluation of the functional emotional state showed that the teaching staff of a medical university has moderate emotional burnout, against the background of a high level of psychoemotional exhaustion. Indicators of well-being and mood have high (favorable) levels, while the activity indicator, on the contrary, has a low (unfavorable) value, presumably against the background of increasing employee fatigue. The occupational health risk of employees is medium (significant), the risk class according to the severity of the possible consequences of identified hazardous events is medium (T3), the probability of the consequences of a hazardous event is high (B4), the risk class is medium (C12).

The review examines the problem of psychological health of pedagogues in Russian educational organisations – schools, colleges, universities, boarding schools. The analysed and structured modern literature data on psychological studies of pedagogues' health in various educational institutions of Russia noted their specificity and similarities. The work will raise the issue of the importance of monitoring the current state of pedagogues; such indicators of psychological ill health as emotional burnout, mental maladjustment, depersonalisation are considered. There has been a steady growth and disappointing dynamics of an increase in the number of pedagogues experiencing professional burnout. The options for providing psychological support to pedagogues of schools and universities were considered (individual and group trainings; self-reflection sessions; study of special literature); the result of approbation of the psychological assistance programme was evaluated. Possible prospects for the development of the Medical University of Nizhny Novgorod in the context of the problems of preserving and developing the psychological health of a pedagogue are noted. It has been established that the targeted use of a complex of psychological measures that preserve and develop the health of pedagogic workers not only affects the state of the participants in the educational process, but also guarantees the effectiveness of their activities, thereby determining the success of the education system as a whole.

The aim of the study was a hygienic assessment of the use of distance learning technologies (DOT) by students of a medical university during the COVID-19 pandemic. Questionnaires were developed containing questions on the level of awareness of students about the risk factors associated with conducting distance learning (DL), the organization of the pedagogical process during the period of DL and the subjective assessment of DL. The research was conducted in December 2020. It was attended by 508 students of FGAOU VO RNIMU them. N.I. Pirogov and FSBEI HE SSMU (Arkhangelsk). Statistical data processing was carried out using Statistica 13.0. The statistical significance of differences in qualitative data was assessed using the Pearson chi-square test. The critical level of significance was taken at p ≤ 0.05. The results indicate that 80% of respondents gave a positive subjective assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of DOT during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an objective criterion for the assimilation of the material in the implementation of DOT, a study of the dynamics of the respondents' progress was carried out. We did not find statistically significant differences in the dynamics of students' progress before, during and after the transition to preschool education. Thus, despite the high readiness of students of a medical university to use the elements of DOT in the educational process, it is necessary to improve the forms of teaching, the introduction of active forms, the improvement of the skills of the teaching staff and the formation of the students' competencies related to health preservation, which they can implement both in full-time, and with DO.

Among the key goals of the National Project "Healthcare" is provision of State (municipal) medical organizations with qualified medical personnel. Achievement of this goal largely depends on the quality of medical personnel training. At the same time, noticeable changes have been taking place in the medical education system in recent years: they concern regulatory and legal framework of medical and educational activities, technical equipment and conditions of economic activity of universities, etc. The changing socio-economic context has an impact on both university applicants, their motivation, and those who train future doctors. The article presents an analysis of the results of the study "Development of the human resources potential of the Moscow healthcare" carried out in 2019 under the auspices of the Moscow Healthcare Department, which addressed both the quantitative aspects of the staffing of medical organizations subordinated to the city, and the quality of medical personnel issues concerning professional training. Information on the quality of graduates from medical universities and the factors determining it was obtained through a series of in-depth structured interviews with experts, who were representatives of the capital's medical universities and chief doctors of medical institutions. In the course of the survey, experts expressed their opinion about all factors affecting the quality of medical education: the level of training and motivation of applicants; characteristics of the teaching staff; organization of the educational process, etc. Analysis of the expert opinions testifies to ambiguity of the situation in medical education. The positive aspects include the growing interest in obtaining the profession of a doctor and the demand for knowledge, as well as some improvement in the remuneration of university workers, which has a positive effect on the filling of pedagogical vacancies and the social well-being of teachers. At the same time, practically in each of the components of the quality of medical specialists training — in methodological support, technical equipment, the possibility of obtaining practical skills by future doctors — there have been found problems that require solution.

This paper considers the «problem of choice» of holding meetings of student scientific circles of the departments of operative surgery with topographic anatomy (OKHITA) and medical informatics and statistics (MIIS) N.N. Burdenko VSMU. This topic is currently very relevant, since the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection continues in Russia and around the world. At the beginning of the article, the information on the use of specialized electronic programs and electronic educational environments in the complex educational process is provided; the issues of their use at various stages of distance learning during an unfavorable epidemiological situation are analysed. However, according to the authors, very little attention is paid to additional aspects of the complex educational process, which are various student comeptitions, student scientific circles and student scientific societies. The aim of the work was an attempt to determine the form of meetings of the Council of People's Commissars of departments of various orientations (theoretical and practical), to determine the attitude of the respondents themselves – representatives of the teaching staff and students to the form of holding meetings of the Council of People's Commissars, depending on the epidemiological situation, and also to choose the most suitable electronic educational environment or computer program. The objects of the study were 50 employees of various departments of N.N. Burdenko VSMU (from among the teaching staff, who made up 1 group of subjects) and 100 students of the medical faculty – 2 and 4 years (who made up the 2 and 3 groups of subjects). The study was based on anonymous questionnaires. It was found that regardless of the direction of the department (practical – OKHITA or theoretical – MIiS), many respondents advocated the traditional (face-to-face) meetings of the Council of People's Commissars, subject to the normalization of the epidemiological situation. However, as it worsened, the majority favored remote, online, meetings of the Council of People's Commissars. An «interesting» result was obtained when processing the results of choosing an electronic platform for holding meetings of the Council of People's Commissars. So, despite the presence in N.N. Burdenko VSMU, specialized electronic educational environments, the «winner» and a kind of choice of respondents was the computer program «Zoom». The obvious choice of university staff from among the teaching staff and students makes it possible to recommend this program as a kind of «platform» for holding meetings of student scientific communities and circles.

Introduction. The relevance of studying the human psychological reactions caused by the unpredictable aggravation of the worldwide epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is growing. The purpose of the research is to analyse the dynamics of impact of forced self-isolation and the situation engendered by the spread of COVID-19 on the psycho-emotional state of the students and the teaching staff of the Institute of Pedagogy under Belgorod State National Research University, and their treatment of this situation. Materials and methods. The research was carried out in remote mode through the online service “Google Forms” in April and October 2020. The number of students and teachers of the Institute of Pedagogy under Belgorod State National Research University that took part in the questioning was 1620. The questionnaire consisted of 3 blocks, including the feedback forms: “My emotional state” (Gut, Doronina); “Actual mental state” (Kulikov); Spielberger’s State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. The processing of the research results was carried out with the use of the statistical package SPSS 25.0. Results. It was revealed that most of the respondents, during both the first and the second diagnostic assessment periods, complied entirely with the coronavirus prevention measures and did not visit crowded public places: 79.1% and 70%, respectively. Following the study of the actual emotional state of the tested people during the first and second waves, some reliably significant differences in terms of indicators were revealed: “Physical well-being” (temp=-2.7; р≤0.01), “Tranquility-anxiety” (temp = -4.2; p≤0.01), “Emotional excitement” (temp = -3.1; p≤0.01). Discussion and conclusion. The results of the comparative analysis of the respondents’ answers in respect of the first and second waves of the coronavirus spread made it possible to conclude that the tested people had revaluated the COVID situation and started treating this phenomenon in more prudent and serious terms. In addition, the prolonged stay-at-home regime, along with limited communication and relocation, results in cumulation of psychological fatigue, increased emotional strain, which conditions the need for informational and psychological support of university students and teachers during the pandemic and after it.

Aims: We aimed to analyze the peculiarities of educational simplicity and psychological problems under pandemic conditions, to conduct an empirical study among the participants of the educational space, to identify correlations between psychological properties of personality and the level of procrastination. Study Design: empirical study among the participants of the educational space, identifying correlations between psychological properties of personality and the level of procrastination. Place and Duration of Study: 320 students and teachers of higher educational institutions in Lviv took part in the survey. Methodology: In our study we used descriptive and empirical methods with application of elements of statistics - Pearson correlation analysis. In the study we also used the following sociological methods: online survey “Detection of socio-psychological problems, procrastination generated by the COVID-19 pandemic in the activity of educational institutions”, scales of diagnosing emotional states of personality, “Procrastination Scales” by B. V. Takman and methods of FAM (Feeling-Activity-Mood). Place and duration of the study: Dnipro State Medical University, Institute of Kyiv National Trade and Economic University and Medical Institute Sumy State University, of State mortgage «Lugansk National University of Taras Shevchenko» from April to October 2021. We also followed systemic approach, comparative method, weighting and forecasting method, according to which virtual educational environment also opens new perspectives for teachers and students, providing opportunities of access to multidirectional information, which allows to acquire social knowledge, social experience, formulate life prospects and realize personal potential. Results: It was found that teachers and students during the COVID-19 pandemic had a higher level of positive well-being, activity, a higher level of mood than during the pandemic. It was also determined that teachers and students had an increased level of procrastination during the pandemic. According to the results of correlation analysis in the group of students and teachers’ correlation relationships between the indicators: the level of procrastination, mood, well-being was established. It has been established that the crisis has hurt both the country and the population quite badly. Training for pupils and students and teachers changed from full-time to distance learning. This form of learning vividly showed all the difficulties: the motivation of students; their ability to self-education; communication in the learning process; the organization of the learning process. For teaching staff, the main difficulty became mastering digital technology to organize the educational process. Empirically it was confirmed that the emotional state “before” and “during” the pandemic is significantly different. Conclusion: The stressful situation has had its negative impact on the mental health of participants in the educational process, so an important role in this time of crisis is the activity of the psychological service of the educational institution.

One of the most important and, according to psychological and pedagogical literature, the least investigated aspects of the domestic system of higher education is the sphere of personal interrelations at the level “teacher – student”. The formation of this type of social relations is a complicated process equally depending on both interested sides, but it is this process that eventually determines the efficiency of the educational process. At present anonymous questioning of both students and teachers is by far the only method of high quality psychodiagnostics of this sphere of educational space. The received findings not only give a more comprehensive idea of the personal characteristics of modern students and the teaching staff of higher schools but can also provide some essential corrective amendments to the organization of the educational process. Anonymous questioning of 400 students of the medical and pediatric faculties of Kursk State Medical University (KSMU) has revealed a number of both quite predictable and fairly unexpected facts concerning the psychological atmosphere at the level “teacher – student”. The received findings to some extent alter the firmly established idea of an elevated ambitiousness of the modern generation of students. Corroborative to it is the objective fact of a lowered personal self-esteem in 38% questioned students of KSMU. The fact of the negative judgment of professional and personal qualities of some teachers (16% of respondents) is alarming and needing thorough consideration and practical conclusions. The comparatively low demand of the recommended to students main academic teaching manuals of the studied disciplines (56%) and the actually unclaimed lectures delivered to them (8%) can be to a great extent explained by their competitive disability in comparison with the short in form but superficial in the contents various kinds of “homebrew” guidance-manuals permanently ranking first in the teachers’ annual rating reports.
