Abstract:. The purpose of this study is to test 1) The existence of learning outcomes of Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance (PMKR) between students who get the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and learning motivation on sent learning outcomes with conventional learning models, 2) There is an interaction between the PBL learning model and learning motivation on learning outcomes in PMKR lessons. 3) There are differences in the PMKR learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation who receive the PBL learning model treatment. 4) There are differences in learning outcomes of light vehicle engine maintenance students who have low learning motivation who get the PBL learning model. This study used an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The population was 80 students, the sample to be used was 66 students taken using smple random sampling technique. Then from the 66 students into 2 groups where Group 1 gathered 33 students into the Experiment Class which was taught with the PBL learning model and Group 2 returned 33 students from the Control class who were taught by the conventional model. The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes between students who received treatment Problem Based Learning learning model and students who received conventional learning model treatment. There is an interaction between the learning model and learning motivation. Students who have learning motivation are more suited to the PBL model, while students who have low learning motivation are more suited to using the conventional model.

Research on the effect of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu has been done. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu. The type of research was a quasi-experimental study non-randomized design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was conducted with a purposive sampling technique. The study sample was students in class X MIA 6 as an experimental group (n = 22) and students in class X MIA 3 as a control group (n = 22). The data testing of students' learning outcomes used a non-parametric statistical analysis, the analysis of Mann-Whitney U-Test. The research results indicated that the mean value of the experiment class was high compared to the control class, 22.61 >18.39. The statistical analysis obtained that sig. 2-tailed (0,032) ˂ 0.05 and Zcalculation (-2.149) ˂ Ztable (-1.96). The average value of the experiment class was 82.95 while the average value of the control class was 73.64. So it can be concluded that there is the effect of applying the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes.

Presentation on the topic of Salt Hydrolysis can be started from a real problem, using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The PBL model should be able to increase students curiosity to get concepts independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PBL model on salt hydrolysis lessons about the students learning outcomes in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent groups post-test only design. Data are normal and homogeneous, as of hypothesis testing uses t-test is done at alpha 0.05, obtained tcount 5,2 and ttable 2,67. The result showed that the learning outcomes on salt hydrolysis lessons between classes using PBL model are higher than conventional model in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir.

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video of the physics student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The study population was all students (113 students) of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Sikur academic year 2014/2015. Sampling was done through purposive sampling technique with class XI IPA 2 as experimental class (37 students) and class XI IPA 1 as the control class ( 36 students). The nonequivalent control group was used as the experimental design. The instruments used in the form of a written test in the form of multiple choices previously tested the validity, reliability, analysis of the level of difficulty, and analysis about the different power. The final test result data were analyzed using t-test two parties with pooled variance formula and obtained tcount of (5.318) with ttable of (1.996) at the 5% significance level. The value of tcount greater than ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This suggests that the problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video has effect on the student class XI of SMAN 1 Sikur physics learning outcomes. Keywords: Problem-based learning model, video cartoon, learning outcomes

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of problem-based learning model-assisted learning concept maps on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of dynamic power in the second half of class X SMA Negeri Medan FY 14 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experiment with the entire population of students in grade 14 class X SMA Negeri Medan, amounting to 9 classes. The study sample consisted of two classes defined by cluster random sampling technique, which is a class X IPA-3 by using a model-assisted learning problem based learning concept maps and IPA-2 class X using conventional learning models. The instrument used in this study was twofold: 1) achievement test in the form of multiple choice with 5 possible answers of 20 questions that have been declared valid by the validator. 2) observation sheet student learning activities. The average value of student activities for learning problem-based learning model with the concept of classified active-assisted map. Based on the t test at significance level α = 0.05 level, we could say that there is an influence model of learning problem-based learning-assisted concept mapping on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of dynamic electric field in SMA 14 TA 2013/2014. Keywords   :         problem based learning, concept maps, learning outcomes, activities.

This reseach goals to determine how the effect of knowing the effect of using Webblog media on the HOTS Evaluation Based Problem Based Learning Model on Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes in the Material of Reaction Rate. The research method used was an experiment that was modified as needed. The sampling technique used is by using a purposive technique where class XI IPA 4 as an experimental class is taught using Webblog Media in the Problem Based Learning model using and XI IPA 5 as a control class that is taught using Power Point Media in the Problem Based Learning learning model based on HOTS evaluation . The analysis technique used is the mean difference test, the percent increase in learning outcomes, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results obtained by the average value of the experimental and control classes in the pretest data were 36.25 and 27.25. The post-test scores for the experimental and control classes were 79 and 65.5. Data on the normality and homogeneity test obtained data were normally distributed and the data were homogeneous. The correlation test for the effect of using Webblog media in the Problem Based Learning model on student motivation and learning outcomes is the value of rxy = 0.754 which means there is a positive correlation between motivation and student learning outcomes.
