Political candidates are actively using Facebook's social media as a political communication strategy, for which there is social interaction and interactive dialogues between the candidates and the public in  virtual space, where this is needed to influence public involvement in achieving their political missions. Therefore, the objective of this study is to describe the influence of the use of social media Facebook as a political communication strategy on the electability, effectiveness, and popularity of the candidates of the DPR RI members in 2019 legislative elections. The research used theories and concepts of political communication and the use of social media in political communication, using quantitative research methods and surveys of 30 Facebook user respondents and voters in the 2019 legislative elections. In the early days of the Internet, many political communication theorists held the utopian belief that political actors would use online tools to communicate directly with members of the public, and thereby bolster political engagement and enrich democracy. Unfortunately, studies over the past two decades found that political websites were not usually used to interact directly with the public, but instead were used to simply disseminate information in a one-way information-sharing model. However, the emergence of social media sites presents political actors with the opportunity to interact with the public far more easily than websites had previously allowed. Given the widespread adoption and high usage rates of social media sites, these online resources could potentially open up a space for public discussion about politics and allow political actors to interact directly with members of the public. Literature indicates that this type of shared space is conducive to the kind of civic mindset that leads to higher rates of political engagement. Research on political uses of social media tends to focus on the use of social media engagement. Research on political uses of social media tends to focus on the use of social media within elections, such as the 2008 U.S presidential election, and on the use of social media by national governments. I have chosen instead to examine how a group of municipal councilors in Toronto, Ontario uses social media. These politicians have the greatest need to interact directly with individuals throughout their term of service because municipal councilors are expected to know the members of their ward far more intimately than federal, or even provincial, politicians. My study focuses on the use of Facebook because literature indicates that it is the most political social media platform and that it presents politicians with the greatest opportunity to foster political engagement online. Through analysis of the Facebook pages of Toronto city councilors this study examines the degree to which councilors use Facebook to engage their followers, whether certain citizens are consistently engaged in ongoing political discussions, and whether small communities of politically engaged citizens develop around the Facebook profiles of councilors.

Influencers are the new brand narrative. This is why many companies and institutions are positioning their executives –using their full names– to build loyalty amongst their diverse client base. On the other hand, the reputation strategy known as “CEO Executive Visibility” aims to promote a brand by putting the spotlight on its top management and aligning their character traits with the values that the organisation wishes to transmit, thus capturing new audiences, improving follower loyalty and generating more engagement. Along these lines, and using content analysis and quantitative research methods, and combining economic and communication factors as theoretical underpinnings, this investigation examines how the chairpersons of the companies listed in the Ibex 35 (the Spanish benchmark index) use the main social networks (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and personal blogs). The results obtained show how executive visibility strategies are applied in Spain and who the main influencers in this financial environment are. This research evidences that the chairpersons of Ibex 35 companies do not post consistently on social media and that there is a link between the public image of a company’s top management and the perception of a company and its commitment to its audience.

Victory is the primary goal for eligible participants in legislative, regent, governor, and presidential elections. The use of social media became a means of garnering support from the public, but on the other hand openly getting attacks from supporters of the opposing camp. Mutual news "hoax" that spread on social media is a problem that has not been resolved until now. Social media becomes a force as well as a threat because it is transformed into a digital world that does not recognize the boundaries of state sovereignty as well as the political and social structure of society. Students are members of the community of social media users who are critical of the development of virtual social relationships that are transformed into a space of political communication. This study used qualitative research methods. The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of students of social media users and analyze social media influence on the political participation of its users. Fourth, social media as a two-way communication media. Fifth, social media as an opponent's surveillance tool. The implication of this research is expected to be more critical, hopefully, the political communicator is more professional and wise in conveying their political message. The goal of winning or just the opposite is that society becomes less sympathetic, and undermines the self-image of political participants.

Today, social media is increasing its influence on the communication environment. The toolkit of online platforms creates new opportunities for the communication strategy of the organization. Interactivity and speed of information dissemination contribute to the transformation of crisis communication models. The possibility of open dialogue in the network between the company and the public allows you to analyze the reaction of the audience to the crisis and choose the most successful crisis response strategy. Social media allows you to establish a long-term relationship with the audience, which is the basis for the successful exit of the organization from the crisis. The use of social media in crisis communications is associated with certain risks. Uncontrollability and constant variability of the socio-media environment are often the causes of crises.
