Teams are quite high spirited and motivated even in difficult periods (82.6 %), the teams hold constructive discussions about misunderstandings and problems, regularly find new opportunities to find information and solve complex problems, appreciate the achievements of colleagues (86.9 %). Being captain of any team is a significant and prestigious position. In elite sport, the captain plays a vital role in both team and organisational leadership. To date there has been minimal research investigating captaincy, and none assessing the impact of regularly losing performances. A captain of a women’s national basketball league team participated in an in-depth, semi-structured interview reflecting on her experience during a losing season. Following Schutz’s (1967) framework, a social phenomenological analysis approach was taken, with seven higher-order themes emerging: being captain; relationship with coaching staff; relationship with teammates; team development; stressors; stress management; and self. Results suggest that while poor results affect all team members, there are increased levels of stress for the captain. The captain is expected to lead by example and avoid external expression of negativity. Further strains are placed on the captain, as they are the conduit between coaching and playing groups. As a result, the captain needs to have good support networks, from a variety of sources, to cope and minimise the impact on personal performance.

The article considers the main directions of the quality assurance of tourist services at the region's level. We proved that the qualitative development of tourist regions requires changes in the structure of production of a tourist product and significant changes in the organization of its production. The current state of services in the regions of Ukraine is under the impact of a significant number of factors. The main determinants are the "COVID-19" pandemic spread, increasing number of natural and anthropogenic disasters, the spread of terrorism and hostilities, et cetera. All these factors hinder the development of services. However, to promote domestic tourism as one of the areas of service in Ukraine, the pandemic was more resultative than joined industry reforms. Today, there is an increase in domestic tourists, and the tourism industry could get significant profits from the surge of domestic tourism. However, most of these trips are self-organized. In addition, most current tourists are looking for new experiences that allow relaxing, see and hear, and feel, taste, try, and learn about the area through cuisine, traditions, and ceremonies to take part in them. Therefore, we tried to substantiate new ways to improve the quality of service in the regions of Ukraine. The analysis of factors influencing the quality of regional tourist services is essential for the future development

The huge migration growth in the city of Sevastopol over the past three years is of great interest for the study. This phenomenon cannot but influence the magnitude of the human potential of the region, the attitude of city residents to this phenomenon, as well as its network component. The conclusions made as a result of the study include: 1) migration processes occurring in the region have a huge impact on all components of regional human potential, strengthening or weakening its network social component, which underlies the structure of potential, 2) analysis and calculation of indicators showed that degradation (loss) of human potential indicators is taking place in Sevastopol, in particular, a number of factors influencing the migration growth, as well as the problems of the indigenous population associated with migration processes, were identified. 3) The study revealed a widespread hostility towards migrants among city dwellers, with whom many associate an increase in crime, a complication of the situation on the labor market and other negative trends.

The purpose. The purpose of this study is to reveal the features of the method of design thinking. Analyze design thinking, which consists of stages such as empathizing, defining, ideating, prototype, and testing. Introduce design techniques and tools that should be used at each stage of this process. Present the differences between the methods in the traditional (application of logical thinking) and non-standard (design thinking) approach. Design/Methodology/Approach . The study examines the hypothesis that applying the design thinking method in the context of a crisis is quite adequate, particularly in doing business during the COVID-19 pandemic. General scientific theoretical methods of research, particularly formalization, analysis, synthesis, systematization, and explanation, have been used to study the essence, advantages, and comparative characteristics of design thinking methods. Conclusions. The studies have shown that design thinking is cross-functional, customer-oriented, resource-saving, creative, and versatile. This confirms the hypothesis that this method should be used in times of crisis and the period of recovery. The practical application of design thinking requires a complete and clear understanding of its capabilities, the availability of the necessary resources, and all participants' interest in the observed outcome. The practical consequences/results of this study are of interest to managers and company heads who want to rethink and change the work processes, particularly regarding decision-making against the background of uncertainty. The quality and effectiveness of applying the design thinking method will depend on the qualification and efficiency of the team performance. It has been suggested to approach teams' formation carefully – they should balance analytical and design thinking in the best possible way. Team members must be aware of the challenge and diversity of use of their experience, including all functions starting from research and development to marketing and sales. For successful work, teams need to be given maximum independence; specific rules or restrictions must be general and minimal. The application of design thinking must be continuous. In general, this should be a way of doing business, not separate project works. Originality/value. This study emphasizes the effectiveness of the design thinking method and its incomplete application in domestic companies. It indicates the advantages, disadvantages, and differences from traditional methods. It is valuable for a deeper understanding and application in practice by managers at different levels.
