This study aims to determine managerial competencies for management of Equality Education Institutions in Tangerang relevant to the current global era. Competent managers have an impact on the quality of education. This study was qualitative research with quantitative descriptive methods. Collecting data used observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Analysis data had four steps were data collection, data reduction, data display and data analysis. The finding concluded that managerial competency must be increased to identify problems and institutional needs, build a quality learning climate and system, program evaluation models are not regular. There is no follow-up on the results of program supervision. In addition, managerial competence must also use technological devices with various advances useful in managing educational institutions.

The purpose of this study was to discover the implementation of managerial competence of vocational school principals in Magelang from the perspective of (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) result. This study had a form of evaluation research with discrepancy method. The subjects of this study were four principals and thirty teachers of SMK Ma’arif 1 Ngluwar, SMK Ma’arif Salam, SMK Ma’arif Kota Mungkid, and SMK N 1 Salam. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview. This study used analysis of quantitative descriptive as analysis data method. The result of this study indicated that the planning of principals’ managerial competence acquired from questionnaire was in “very good” category with average score 52.70; the implementation of vocational school principals’ managerial competence in Magelang based on the questionnaire result was in “very good” category with the average score 127.25; and the result of vocational school principals’ managerial competence in Magelang based on the questionnaire was in “very good” category with the average score 34.20.

This study aims to determine the effect of managerial competence and job satisfaction together on teacher performance. The location of this research was carried out in SD Negeri all Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This type of research is a quantitative study with a determination design using an ex post facto research design. The sample in this study was the total of all teachers in SD Negeri in Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, consisting of 174 teachers. data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that 1) there is a significant influence between managerial competence on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency; 2) there is a significant influence between job satisfaction on the performance of SD Negeri teachers in Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency; 3) there is a significant effect jointly between managerial competence and job satisfaction on the performance of SD Negeri teachers in Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency.

The purpose of this study was to describe the feasibility of teaching materials based on an open-ended approach to improve the reasoning abilities of fourth grade students in elementary schools. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The subjects of this study were 3 classroom teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion) and quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of stage 1 media validation, it was obtained 84.8%, and the results of stage 2 media validation were obtained 94.8%. The result of material validation for stage 1 was obtained 84.6%, and validation for material for stage 2 was obtained 93.3%. The results of initial field trials obtained media 93.7% and material 92.3%. This shows that the teaching material is declared valid and suitable for use. Based on the results of this study, the suggestion that can be conveyed is that teaching materials based on an open-ended approach can be used as a tool for teaching and learning resources for students.

The article presents an analysis of the availability of pharmacists in the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also, a survey of college students was conducted to determine their organizational and managerial competencies, conclusions and recommendations were formulated.

Regional Original Revenue (PAD) is regional revenue derived from local taxes, regional retribution, and management of separated regional assets, as well as other legitimate regional income. Regional levies are one of the sources of financing regional development in supporting the implementation of regional autonomy. One type of regional retribution collected by the Tomohon City Government is waste retribution. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of waste collection fees in Tomohon City, and the contribution of solid waste retribution to PAD. In this study using quantitative descriptive method. The analysis data used in this study is the analysis of contribution and effectiveness. The results of the receipt effectiveness of solid waste levies in 2015-2016 was not effective and decreased, then in 2017 although it was still ineffective but experienced a very drastic increase. The contribution of solid waste retribution to regional retribution is still relatively small in 2015 and 2016 but in 2017 its contribution is very significant to regional retribution. While the contribution of solid waste retribution to the PAD of Tomohon City in 2015-2017 is very small for the past 3 years. Leaders of Regional Revenue Service and the Environmental Agency should continue to optimize the receipt of solid waste fees with intensification & extensification, so that there will always be changes on the system of receiving regional retribution towards a better direction.Keywords: effectivity, contribution, local government income

Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana impelementasi kompetensi sosial guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa Smp Negeri 3 Bungin Kec. Bungin Kab. Enrekang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi, wawancara dan Angket. Tekhnik Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel yang akan diteliti yaitu: Variabel bebas yaitu kompetensi sosial guru dan Variabel terikat yaitu motivasi belajar siswa. Jumlah sampel ialah 22 orang dari 220 populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi, wawancara dan Angket. kompetensi sosial guru merupakan seperangkat penguasaan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang harus dimiliki guru agar dapat melaksanakan tugas-tugas pokok sebagai seorang guru dan  bertanggungjawab dalam mendidik. Cara meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa antara lain Pemberian Nilai pemberian ulangan dan kerja kelompok. Melihat implementasi kompetensi sosial guru untuk meningkatkan  motivasi belajar siswa sudah berhasilan dalam bidang pendidikan, guru diharapkan mampu  menjadi pigur dalam memajukan  lembaga pendidikan agar siswa termotivasi untuk melakukan perubaha-perubahan dalam memajukan lembaganya pendidikan kedepannya.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Sosial, Guru,  Motivasi Belajar SiswaABSTRACTThis study was analyzed with descriptive qualitative is purpose which to give an overview of how the implementation the social competence of teachers to students' motivation Smp Negeri 3 Bungin Kec. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan: 1) Modelpembinaan anak jalanan di Pondok Pesantren, 2) Kendala-kendala yang terjadi dalam pembinaan anak jalanan, 3) Mengatasi kendala yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis datanya melalui: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menjelaskan bahwa: 1) Pembinaan yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Sabilul Hikmah ini adalah pendekatan secara personal sosial dimana pengurus pondok pesantren harus berinteraksi sosial secara anak per anak agar tahu apa yang sebenarnya diinginkan oleh masing-masing anak serta pembinaan dengan pendekatan secara agama (religius), 2) Kendala yang paling menonjol adalah sulitnya masa peralihan anak-anak yang semula hidup bebas dijalanan dan kemudian hidup di lingkungan pondok pesantren serta kurangnya dana operasional untuk mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari para santri, 3) Mengatasi anak yang susah diatur adalah dengan membuat anak - anak tersebeut merasa nyaman maka itulah guna dari pembinaan melalui pendekatan personal sosial,sedangkan kendala dari keuangan adalah bagaimana pendiri Pondok Pesantren menggunakan uang pribadi dalam mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari para santri.Kata Kunci : Model Pembinaan, Anak Jalanan, Personal sosial dan religi.ABSTRACTThe research objective is to understand and describe: 1) The mentoring model for street children at Islamic Boarding School, 2) The problems in mentoring for street children, and 3) The solution for solving the problems. This research applied the descriptive qualitative research. The techniques for data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis data started from data collection, data reduction, result of research and conclusion. The result of this research showed that: 1) The mentoring which was done by Salafiyah Sabilul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School was a personal and social approach where Islamic boarding school staffs should make an social interaction to eachof street children so they could understand their real needs, 2) the most problem which faced by street children was the difficulties on their adaptation from the life street to Islamic boarding school which did not have a good financial to support all their daily needs, and 3) To mentor the street childern who could not be taught easily was by making them feelmore comfortable so it aligned with the goal of a personal and social approach, and to cover the lack of financial on the student’s daily needs was by using the staff’s personal money.Keywords: Mentoring Model, Street Children, Personal and social approach, and religion.

The objective of our investigation was to verify a questionnaire’s suitability in identifying managerial competencies concerning managers’ personality characteristics. Methods: For the content validity of the questionnaire assessment of managerial competencies (AMC23), we investigated its coherence with the appraisal of the management style methodology, i.e., managerial grid (MG), with correlation analysis. The existence of statistically significant relationships between the assessment of managerial competencies and managers’ personality characteristics was determined using Pearson’s correlation coefficient concerning the BIG-5 model. Results: In total, 573 managers participated in this study. Our examination concludes that motivational competencies correlated positively with the compromise and cooperative style; performance competencies with the competitive and cooperative style; and social competencies with the cooperative, adaptive, and compromise style. Not least, target competencies positively correlated with the competitive and cooperative style. Further, neuroticism negatively correlated with social managerial competence, extraversion, and openness to experience, which positively correlated with motivational and target competence. Friendliness was positively associated with social competence, and diligentness positively correlated with motivational, performance, and target competence. Conclusion: We determined significant correlations between managerial competencies (AMC23) and managerial style (MG). Our findings might have implications for further investigation and the development of more comprehensive instruments to assess managerial competencies in connection with managers’ personalities. We point out the need for further research to verify, improve, and constitute a model that further elucidates and explains managerial competencies.

Tape ketan (fermented glutinous rice) and tape singkong (fermented cassava) are traditional Indonesian foods produced by fermenting carbohydrate sources using ragi as starter culture. Those products known to contain high number of lactic acid bacteria (LAB). The purpose of the study was to evaluate the sensory characteristics of tape ketan and tape singkong from different household industry in Bogor, to identify the sensory profile, and to evaluate the correlation between LAB density and sensory attribute. The research was started by survey to household tape industries, followed by sensory analysis of rating hedonic and Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA), and LAB analysis. Data analysis of rating hedonic was done by ANOVA and post-hoc Duncan test, while data analysis of QDA was done by Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Samples of tape ketan were taken from two different home industries (BK and LK), while samples of tape singkong were taken from four different home industries (CT, NG, SH, TS). Hedonic rating test showed that the most preferred sample overall was tape ketan BK and tape singkong CT. QDA results showed that tape ketan BK was characterized by its sweetness, rice-like aroma, rice-like taste, and texture, while tape ketan LK was characterized by alcoholic aroma, alcoholic taste, sourness, and color. Tape singkong NG were characterized by sour aroma, alcoholic aroma, alcoholic taste, and color. Specific characteristic of tape singkong CT was bitterness and bitter aftertaste, SH was sweetness, and TS was texture. LAB of tape ketan BK (8,5 log cfu/g) was higher than LK (7,9 log cfu/g). Tape singkong with highest density of LAB was TS (8,1 log cfu/g), followed by CT (7,2 log cfu/g), NG (7,0 log cfu/g), and SH (6,5 log cfu/g). There was no correlation between the density of LAB and descriptive score of sourness, alcoholic taste, and sweetness.
