Online shopping has recently become a consumer choice. The motivation of consumers in making online purchases includes factors of experience, trust, convenience, price, and knowledge. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that motivate consumers to make online purchases. The research method uses direct observation and questionnaires to consumers in Blitar City who make online purchases. The research population is online shopping consumers in Blitar City. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling, namely online shopping consumers who coincidentally meet with researchers. The variable used is consumer motivation. The results showed that consumer motivation in doing online shopping showed results in the form of a percentage that respondents tended to choose experience and trust (93.33%), convenience (90.00%), price (86.67%), and continued knowledge (83.33%).

Bimaruna Jaya Depot is one of the companies engaged in services related to the handling and stacking of containers. This company is currently experiencing problems regarding employee work productivity which is decreasing from month to month from the achievement target. The purpose of this study was to determine whether work competence and workload affect the work productivity of surveyors in container survey activities at Bimaruna Jaya Depot. The research method used is direct observation to the field, distributing questionnaires to insurveyors and out, estimators, andsupervisors maintenance and repair and interviews with depot managers andsupervisors maintenance and repair. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative by distributing questionnaires and interviews, namely purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the work productivity of aofficer surveyor can be influenced by competence and workload with targets set by the company.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan, (1) menguji pengaruh sifat materialisme terhadap pembelian impulsif online. (2) Menguji efek moderasi kontrol diri pada hubungan sifat materialisme terhadap pembelian impulsif online. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan riset causal. Unit analisis pada penelitian ini adalah individu dosen Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku (UKIM) selaku konsumen online shopping yang pernah melakukan pembelian impulsif secara online. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode nonprobabilitas, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penentuan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan (judgment sampling), dengan kriteria yakni, (1) dosen tetap Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku (UKIM), dan (2) dosen yang pernah melakukan pembelian impulsif secara online. Jumlah sampel yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 48 orang. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik Moderated Regression Analysis. Hasil penelitian membuktikan Sifat materialisme berpengaruh terhadap pembelian impulsif online. Sifat dosen UKIM selaku konsumen yang menekankan nilai pada materi, mementingkan diri sendiri, ingin memiliki banyak barang, dan merasa kepemilikikan tidak membuat bahagia meningkat, maka perilaku pembelian tampa berpikir akibat, pembelian spontan, pembelian terburu-buru, dan pembelian dipengaruhi keadaan emosional akan meningkat. Konsumen yang memiliki sifat materialisme tergolong konsumen berusia muda serta memiliki kecenderungan interaksi dengan media sosial yang tinggi berpotensi melakukan belanja impulsive secara online. Penelitian ini membuktikan Dampak moderasi kontrol diri sebagai pengontrol sifat konsumen dalam hal penilaian barang berdasarkan simbolik barang, status sosial, membangun status sosial dari pembelian suatu barang, serta prestise secara berlebihan. Dampak moderasi kontrol diri terbukti berkontribusi pada pengaruh sifat materialisme terhadap pembelian impulsif online. Kata kunci : Sifat materialisme, kontrol diri, pembelian impulsif online. Abstract This study aims to (1) examine the effect of materialism on impulsive online purchases. (2) To examine the moderating effect of self-control on the relationship between materialism and impulsive online purchases. This type of research is a causal research. The unit of analysis in this study is an individual lecturer at the Indonesian Christian University of Maluku (UKIM) as online shopping consumers who have made impulsive purchases online. The sampling method using nonprobability method, sampling using purposive sampling technique. Determination of the sample based on judgment (judgment sampling), with the criteria namely, (1) permanent lecturers at the Indonesian Christian University of Maluku (UKIM), and (2) lecturers who have made impulsive purchases online. The number of samples analyzed in this study were 48 people. Data analysis used the statistical method of Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the study prove that materialism affects impulsive online purchases. The nature of UKIM lecturers as consumers who emphasize the value of material, are selfish, want to have a lot of goods, and feel that ownership does not increase happiness, so the buying behavior without thinking results, spontaneous purchases, rush purchases, and emotional purchases will increase . Consumers who have materialistic characteristics are classified as young consumers and have a high tendency to interact with social media with the potential to do impulsive shopping online. This study proves the impact of moderation of self-control as a control for consumer behavior in terms of valuing goods based on symbolic goods, social status, building social status from purchasing an item, and excessive prestige. The impact of self-control moderation has been shown to contribute to the influence of materialism on impulsive online purchases. Keywords: Materialism, self-control, online impulsive buying.

<p><em>Online shopping is a</em><em>n</em><em> </em><em>ubiquitous </em><em>phenomenon among young consumers.</em><em> </em><em>The </em><em>development </em><em>of internet on transactions has </em><em>caused</em><em> fear, mistrust and risk among online consumers.  The </em><em>objective</em><em> of this study is to examine the effect of product reviews, prices, transaction trust, and security transactions on decisions in Islamic millennial generation online purchases. The sample in this study is the Muslim young generation who use a lot of online shopping</em><em>s</em><em>, a</em><em> total of 120 respondents were requested to complete the questionnaires, of which 96 were returned </em><em>using a purposive sampling technique with a minimum expenditure of spending 3 times in the last 3 months. The results of this study indicate that product reviews, prices, trust and security have significant effect on online purchasing decisions.</em><em> This study also discusses the </em><em>implications, limitations, and suggestions for </em><em>the </em><em>future research</em><em>.</em><em></em></p>

<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kemampuan berhitung dan kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan. Populasi penelitian seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak yang mengambil mata kuliah Trigonometri tahun akademik 2017/2018 sebanyak 100 orang yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas AP, BP, dan CP. Sampel adalah mahasiswa kelas AP dengan teknik <em>cluster random sampling</em>. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan menghitung, menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar, dan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri dalam bentuk esai yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal untuk masing-masing tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji parametrik. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kemampuan berhitung terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 23,4%; (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 19,9%; dan (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan berhitung dan kemampuan menyederhanakan bentuk aljabar terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah Trigonometri sebesar 29%.</p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aims to measure the effect of the ability to count and to simplify the form of algebra on the ability to solve Trigonometric problems. The research method was descriptive with a form of relationship study research. The research population was all students of Mathematics Education of IKIP PGRI Pontianak taking Trigonometry courses in the academic year 2017/2018 were 100 people divided into 3 classes, namely AP, BP, and CP classes. Samples are AP class students with a cluster random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used the ability to calculate tests, simplify the form of algebra, and solve Trigonometry problems in the form of essays consisting of 5 items for each test. Data analysis techniques used parametric. The results of the research: (1) There is a positive influence between the ability to count on the ability to solve Trigonometry problems by 23.4%; (2) There is a positive influence between the ability to simplify the form of algebra to the ability to solve Trigonometry problems by 19.9%; and (3) There is a positive influence jointly between the ability to count and the ability to simplify the form of algebra on the ability to solve trigonometric problems by 29%.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p>

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan : (1) untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. (2) untuk mengetahui hasil dari pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. (3) untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan dari pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Swasta Salsa Percut Sei Tuan. Jumlah populasi penelitian 38 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah total sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data yang apabila populasi berjumlah dibawah 100 maka sampel adalah keseluruhannya. Data penelitian ini dijaring dari hasil eksperimen, observasi serta penilain oleh 3 orang validator. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil eksperimen motif flora dengan media sabun batangan menggunakan teknik ukir dikatakan baik, dilihat dari karya yang di kategori baik di presentasi 36,8% sedangkan untuk kategori cukup baik di presentase 63,2%. siswa mampu memenuhi standart penilaian yang ditetapkan terhadap siswa dengan minimum nilai yaitu 70 hingga hasil akhir pada proses pembuatan eksperimen motif flora dengan media sabun batangan menggunakan teknik ukir menunjukkan bahwa 38 siswa mencapai ketuntasan.Kata Kunci: eksperimen, motif flora, sabun, ukir.AbstractThis study ai aims: (1) to describe the process of making flora motifs using carving techniques using bar soap media. (2) to determine the results of the making of floral motifs with carving techniques using bar soap media. (3) to determine the advantages and disadvantages of making flora motifs by using carving techniques using bar soap media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This research was conducted at the Private Junior High School of Salsa Percut Sei Tuan. The number of research population is 38 students. The research sampling technique was total sampling, namely the sampling technique for data sources, if the population was below 100, the sample was the whole. The research data was collected from the results of experiments, observations and judgments by 3 validators. From the research results, it is concluded that the experimental results of flora motifs with bar soap media using carving techniques are said to be good, seen from the works that are in the good category at the presentation of 36.8% while for the fairly good category at the percentage of 63.2%. Students are able to meet the standard assessment set for students with a minimum score of 70 until the final result in the process of making experiments with flora motifs using bar soap media using carving techniques shows that 38 students achieve completeness.Keywords: experiments, floral motif, soap, carving.

This research purported to discover the influence of corporate culture, compensation and working discipline on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCN) using motivation as moderating variable. Research population covered all employees in PERUMDAM Bantul having permanent officer status as many 115 persons. Research sampling was based on Slovin method resulting in 90 people selected using random sampling technique.  Research method was based on quantitative approach. The research utilized SmartPLS 3.2.8 to conduct inferential analysis. Based on the result of inferential analysis using SmartPLS 3.2.8 it can be concluded that there was tangible influence of corporate culture, compensation and working discipline on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCN) using motivation as moderating variable.The result of this research is applicable as reference to improve OCB in any companies simply by strengthening corporate culture, rationalizing compensation, maintaining workplace discipline and motivating the employees to work even harder.

This research is the result of a verification study entitled “Effects of love of money, religiosity, and ethical values on the tendency of accounting fraud and idealism as a moderate variable in economics students in Palu. In this research, the researcher used quantitative research method. The data used were primary and secondary data. The research population were students majoring in Economics in Palu. The sampling technique was based on proportional random sampling. The researcher also used multiple regression analysis, different test and residual test. The results of this research showed that variable of love of money, religiosity, and ethical values had an effect on the tendency of accounting fraud, while idealism was not a moderating variable. In addition, there was an idealism difference between female and male students in Palu and there was no difference in the tendency between female and male students in Palu.

Financial distress is pre condition before bankruptcy, so prediction of the condition is very important that will help company to decide policy in the future. This study aims to test financial ratios which are believed as the predictors of financial distress condition. Research population is mine coal companies that are listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia. With purposive sampling as sampling technique, there are 15 companies as sample with 60 financial statements as the data. This research use regression logistic as the research method. The result shosw that liquidity ratio, financial leverage, and cash flow can not be used as financial distress predictor. however profitability ratio can. This research implies that financial performance in funding doesn’t always correlate with operational performance. Next researches are needed with different variables and population so that the result can be generalized.

<p><em>The research population was all tenth grade Social students of Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Surakarta. The research method used was qualitative method using descriptive-qualitative approach. The participants of the research were one hundred thirty (130) Social students’ works. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were content analysis and in-depth interviewing. Data analyzing used was interactive analysis model. The followings are the conclusions of the research. First, three types of language errors in students’ exposition text are sentence error, diction error, and spelling error. Second, the most detected type of error is spelling error in which the use of comma has the highest percentage. Third, the casual factors of language error were as follow: the students know less about writing principles; the students have less motivation to read; the students tend to emphasize the idea rather than writing principle; the students tend to be lazy to do editing before submitting their works; the class condition is not supportive; and the students are demanded to write structurally correct. Fourth, some efforts done to minimize language error: teachers give clarification immediately when they notice language error; cross-reading among students before submitting their works; and more writing activities in class.</em></p>

The brand becomes important for consumers in choosing a product.  The wide range of bottled drinking water brands can give consumers an alternative choice of which products to consume.  The purpose of this study was to determine the brand's perception for consumers in choosing bottled water products.  The research method uses direct observation and questionnaires to students as consumers of bottled water at Balitar Islamic University.  The research population was Balitar Islamic University students.  The sampling technique uses accidental sampling, namely students who accidentally meet with researchers.  The variable used is brand perception.  The results showed that brand perception can influence consumers in choosing bottled water products.  Aqua product is a brand of bottled drinking water that is in high demand by consumers, while Le Minerals, Cleo, Ades, and Vit are interested after Aqua.  Other respondents tend to consume the bottled drinking water brand in turn because they consider all brands the same.
