This study was done to assess the perception and attitude of trainees who were previously trained by PSAU, a state university in the Philippines. It is a quantitative research that employed descriptive designed. The respondents were previous trainees from 2014 to present and they were randomly selected. The respondents’ socio-demographic characteristics showed that they were varied in terms of age, but they were prepared and interested to attend PSAU training programs. Majority were married, but they attained only limited education, so much so that they also received meager amounts of monthly income. Most of the families had four children who mostly obtained only elementary education. They appreciated the importance of training programs and they manifested their interest to attend trainings. With regards to the perception of trainees towards PSAU training programs, data suggested that the respondents strongly agree that the trainings conducted by PSAU satisfied their expectations in terms of training environment, outlook, benefits, role of training practices and commitment to trainings. In terms of the attitude of trainees towards training programs, the trainees believe that the trainings spearheaded by PSAU were interesting, beneficial and could be useful for their future. They also believe that these programs were pleasant and useful to every professional

The participants were 104 teachers from five campuses of the university that offers STEM undergraduate programs. A quantitative research design was employed to address the central theme: The identification of the gap between the beliefs and perceptions of STEM Educators regarding the role of research in university teaching. The present study revealed that the STEM teachers highly valued the role of research in teaching. They especially considered the development of creative and critical dispositions as the most important goals of integrating research into teaching. However, the teachers reported low actual integration of research into their current teaching, revealing a major gap between their beliefs and the perceived actual integration research into their own teaching practices. It further showed that institutional background appeared to be critical in the integration of research in teaching. Ultimately, STEM education in the university is emphatic on research content in the delivery of instruction while creating opportunities for learners to participate along the learning process. However, a research-based approach remains to be unpopular, much less for a research-oriented classroom. Strengthening research support and widening the scope of research culture are recommended.</p></td></tr></tbody></table>

This study aimed to find out the real status of online training in the United Arab Emirates from teachers' perspectives. The researchers used the descriptive analytical methodology to answer the questions of the study. For this purpose, they prepared a questionnaire consisting of (24) items divided into three dimensions. The sample of the study consisted of (228) teachers who were selected randomly. The study revealed that the teachers' estimates were highly (Strongly Agree) satisfied with the status of online training and each of the three dimensions (Trainers, Content of the training programs, and the training environment). The study also revealed the following: -There are no statistically significant differences at (a= 0.05) in the degree of teachers' estimation due to the (gender variable, academic qualification variable, variable of years of service). Based on what was achieved in this study, there is effectiveness in the online training provided to teachers in the United Arab Emirates in all three aspects: the trainers, the content of the training programs, the training environment. The study recommended the need to continue conducting online training and maintaining the improvement and generalization of all the conditions for its success in various emirates. It also recommended the need to investigate the real status of online training from the point of view of school principals and students.

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as one of the business sector which give significant contribution to national GDP have an average of more than 55% in the period 2008 to 2012 (BSN 2013), in addition, the role of food-based MSMEs is very important in providing adequate food availability for the community. Standardization is one of the strategies to increase competitiveness, especially in the free trade era. Standardization activities in the industry is proven by obtaining SNI certificates (Indonesian National Standards). This study aims to understand how the characteristics and evaluation of the nature of innovation towards MSME decisions to adopt SNI certification in the food sector. This quantitative research uses explanatory type method with an explanatory nature with associative nature because it wants to explain the influence between the variables tested. The results on evaluating the nature of innovation can be seen from the relative profit, the average respondent answers strongly agree on what they think of SNI or its products labelled SNI. Then on the level of complexity, respondents consider changes in infrastructure and adjustments to product standards. On marketing factors, respondents market their products through online media is 45,9% while marketing through offline media is 54%, one of which dominates them is through exhibitions or bazaars (15,3%). The conclude that there was no significant influence between the evaluation of the nature of innovation, namely the level of relative profitability, level of complexity and the level of observability with adoption of SNI certification. The factors that influence significantly SNI certification was adaptive structuration, they are rate of socialization and testimonial approach. .

Guided by the desire to contribute a little in the development of innovative instructional technology for the teaching of electronics, this researcher constructed a prototype audio system trainer. Electronics teachers will find the instructional tool convenient and practical to use for visual instruction, laboratory activities and troubleshooting works in electronics. To support the functionality of the audio system trainer, the researcher developed a supplementary laboratory manual. The project whose production costs totaled fourteen thousand two hundred seventy-two pesos and fifty centavos (Php 14,272.50) was finished in two weeks’ time. However, this amount is small if compared to the prices of the commercially available instructional device developed for the same purpose. The completed project and the supplementary laboratory exercises were evaluated by selected technical faculty members of the College of Industrial Technology of the Bulacan State University, Bulacan Polytechnic College, University of Rizal System, and Lyceum of the Philippines University. The sampling technique as used in the study is both purposive and incidental. The prototype audio system trainer received an over-all mean rating of 4.62 which means that the project is highly acceptable on a set of criteria which includes – physical features, cost, function/operations, and durability. Furthermore, the supplementary laboratory exercises obtained a mean of 4.70 which could be interpreted that the respondents strongly agree on the validity of the manual.

Introduction: Planning is essential to healthcare institutions.  The first important factor that indicates the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization is planning and the realization of how the vision and mission that have been set up are implemented. However, organizational culture plays a key role in setting a plan for hospitals. It is upon this premises that this study seeks to find the impact of organizational culture on planning as professed by employees in the hospital and the significant difference between sex and age when planning was considered.    Method: This was quantitative research which was designed as descriptive-correlational. The self-constructed instrument was conveniently administered to 108 hospital employees within Laguna in the Philippines to measure their hospital organizational culture and planning. The statistical study treatment was based on SPSS version 23, where Mean and Standard Deviation and Pearson Correlation and t-test were used to analyze the data.    Result: The results revealed that hospital planning was very high, and they strongly agree with the influence of their organizational culture. Furthermore, the study resulted that there is a high correlation between organizational culture and planning. There was a significant difference in sex, however, there was no significant difference in age. The implication is that hospitals must make sure that their firms’ culture supports planning so that they can meet their objectives.  Discussion: The study recommends that hospitals must make sure that their cultural practices support planning. This is among the various ways to achieve hospitals success and make them effective and efficient.

However, the teachers reported low actual integration of research into their current teaching, revealing a major gap between their beliefs and the perceived actual integration research into their own teaching practices as evident in the result of the statistical tests. It further showed that institutional background appeared to be critical in the integration of research in teaching. Ultimately, STEM education in the university is emphatic on research content in the delivery of instruction while creating opportunities for learners to participate along the learning process. However, a research-based approach remains to be unpopular, much less for a research-oriented classroom. Strengthening research support and widening the scope of research culture are recommended.

Aims: To investigate consumers’ sustainable choice behavior between gas and electric scooters, as predicted by consumers’ felt responsibility for sustainability anchored on norm activation theory. Study Design:  Quantitative research approach using cross-sectional online survey design. Place and Duration of Study: The data came from faculty employees of a state university in the Philippines between August to September 2020. Methodology: 109 responses from faculty employees were analyzed. Hypotheses were tested for regression using Jamovi. Conclusion: This study added empirical evidence on the applicability of consumers’ felt responsibility for sustainability as a predictor of sustainable choice behavior and answered the call for more studies that would promote a better understanding of the concept of sustainable consumption. The findings provided important implications on how marketers and managers can promote pro-environmental products such as electric scooters and boost sustainable consumption among buyers in an identified community.

In the submitted study the problem of the formation of financial literacy of students at informatics lessons and relevant training of future informatics teachers is considered. Financial literacy is understood as a set of basic knowledge in the field of finance, banking, insurance, as well as budgeting for personal finances that allow a person to choose the right financial product or service, soberly assess and take risks that may arise during the use of these products, correctly accumulate savings and identify doubtful (fraudulent) investment schemes. The authors conclude that successful development of meaningful lines of the course of financial literacy requires integration of a few school subjects, such as mathematics, history, informatics, social science and literature. The role of modern informatics teacher in the formation of financial literacy of students is great. Therefore, in the training of a future informatics teacher, it should be paid the attention to issues related to the study of elements of financial literacy in informatics lessons. In order to solve the problem, the authors propose to use the special course “Basics of work in 1С:Enterprise”, which is implemented at Penza State University. The article contains a program of the course and the methodological recommendations for its implementation.

Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction are the three factors of a few relatively large factors suspected to influence Performance on the PT. Adya Tours. These research aimed to determine the effect of Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction toward Performance on the PT. Adya Tours.Research conducted at the PT. Adya Tours by taking 71 employees as the research sample, calculated using the Slovin formula of the total population of 240 employees  at  the  margin  of  error  of  10%.  Data  were collected by questionnaire instruments covered by the five rating scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Quantitative research was conducted by describing and analyzing research data. The multiple linier regression analysis and multiple determination coeficient are the statistic approach to data analysis.The study produced four major findings consistent with the hypothesis put forward, that are: 1) Transformation Leadership has a significant effect on Performance  in  a  positive  direction;  2)  Motivation  has  a  significant  effect  on Performance in a positive direction; 3) Satisfiction has a significant effect on Performance in a positive direction; 4) Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction simultaneously influence 92.70% Performance variability.Base on the research finding, in order to increase Performance can be done by increasing Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction. Kata kunci:Transformation Leadership, Motivation, Satisfaction, Performance
