The growth of water hyacinth in the waters of Lake Tondano can affect the lake's ecosystem due to its rapid growth and spread. Water hyacinth is a weed that damages the aquatic environment which, if its growth and development are not controlled, will reduce the amount of light entering the waters, evapotranspiration, and reduce the amount of water and can accelerate the process of silting the waters of Lake Tondano. The research objective was to determine the distribution pattern of water hyacinth in Lake Tondano from 2015 to 2020. The research method was descriptive qualitative and spatially analyzed data using geographic information systems. The data used are primary and secondary data, obtained through observation and field surveys and documentation. Based on the results of spatial analysis, it is known that the distribution pattern of water hyacinth in Lake Tondano has increased from 2015 with an area of 465.59 Ha, in 2016 the area was 848 Ha, in 2017 the area was 999,695 and there was a change in area decline, in 2018 the area was 675.87 Ha, and 2019 the area was 366.36 Ha. , and in 2020 the area of water hyacinth will increase to 995,797 hectares. The factors causing the uncontrolled distribution of water hyacinth in the waters of Lake Tondano can be due to the season (climate), sedimentation, or land use. The growth and development of water hyacinths have disrupted various community activities and have an impact on the process of silting the waters of the lake and damaging the beauty of Lake Tondano.

One of the influencing factors to increase the productivity of agricultural commodities is intensive intercropping (so-called Turiman in this paper) implementation in local agroecosystem. The study aimed to determine the perception of intercropping implementation and farming analysis to increase cropping index in Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province. This study was carried out in the Kwagen village, Bodeh Sub-District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province with thirty respondents. Primary data were collected then analyzed for each indicator. Data were simply analyzed based on the percentage of answers on the indicators. Meanwhile, secondary data were analyzed qualitatively using the Desk Research Method. The results showed that there were 63.3% farmers understood and applied intercropping technology (Turiman), 13% farmers understood but did not implement Turiman, and 20% farmers did not know and did not implement Turiman. By implementing Turiman, farmers obtained the benefits in increasing production, optimizing land use, saving production costs, and generating income showed by the increase of BC ratio from 1.11 (no technology application) to 1.78 (Turiman application).

Abstract Mount Sinabung is an active volcano after being 'dormant' for a long time since the 1600s. Sinabung has begun to show its activities from 2010 to 2020, so that it has a long impact on community activities, damage to settlements, agricultural and threats to the lives of residents around Sinabung. This study aims to determine the conditions of land use in disaster-prone areas in relation to spatial patterns and levels of disaster prone. The research method is carried out through spatial analysis by overlaying the land use map with the spatial planning map to produce a land use suitability map. The spatial pattern suitability map is overlaid with a disaster hazard map to determine the level of security in settlements. The results showed that 5 affected Districts, namely in the Districts of Naman Teran, Payung, Simpang Empat, Tiganderket, Munte, the safe zone was 145.66 hectares, the less safe zone was 0.98 hectares, the unsafe zone was 36.91 hectares and the very insecure zone was 1.25 hectares. It is hoped that the spatial analysis regarding the distribution of safe locations for settlements is expected to become a policy material for the government to formulate arrangements for the use and utilization of space so that the spatial planning policies that are established are in line with efforts to reduce the risk of the eruption of Mount Sinabung disaster.

Kata kunci : koefisien aliran, Bransby-William, sub Daerah Aliran Sungai, Babura Abstract The research located in Babura watershed which has wide of 4921.88 Ha.
