The main results of the experimental research of the concept FRIENDSHIP in the Ukrainian language are given in the article. On the base of the received data, the concept’s model was built and the main cognitive signs were analyzed. The description of the structure of the concept is also proposed. The method of semantic and cognitive analysis of concepts was chosen. The latter was proposed and multiply used by Russian linguists Z. Popova and J. Sternin. The free, directed, receptive, and symbolic experimental techniques were used as main ones. The first stage of building the concept’s model is the description of its macrostructure. The found cognitive signs of the given concept are distributed according to its main structural components - image component, informational sense and interpretation field. Thus, the informational sense of the concept includes cognitive signs that characterize its essence and defining components. The interpretation field is usually very large and includes many cognitive signs, which characterize the attitude of the folk to the given concept and various encyclopedic knowledge about its features, functions, and they are usually gained from the individual’s experience. The phraseological zone of the interpretation field is analyzed separately. It describes the understanding of the concept by the folk’s consciousness mainly in historic perspective. The results of researching proverbs and sayings are included into the concept’s model. The structure of the concept’s model is build in a way of different fields and it depicts the hierarchy of separate cognitive signs in the structure. The division of separate cognitive sign in to the fields (nuclear, periphery) was made on the basis of their "brightness " (the quantity of association proposed during the experiments). It is worth noting that dictionaries give only small part of such sighs, which does not depict the whole structure of the concept. Proposed experimental research of the structure of a separate concept gives the opportunity to describe them more effectively.

The conceptual foundations of the theory and practice of the professional formation of the personality in the system of special education are substantiated. The essence of the given training is considered in various ways, on the basis of which its qualitative and classification characteristics, levels and systemic and structural components are determined; the content, organizational and pedagogical conditions and criteria for assessing the levels of formation of these components aredefined. The following components of professional training are defined: professional and motivational, cognitive and competence, operational and active, productive and reflexive. It is indicated that the given structural components are interrelated, interdependent and complementary to each other. Theoretical paradigm is scientifically substantiated, the structural-functional, organizational-didactic model of the system of professional training in the field of special education is developed and tested and the dynamics of the formation of its components according to the results of the implementation of this system is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to finding and developing of the optimal set of methods of its providing, developing programs and definition of developed program’s efficiency. The practical results of scientists’ work in defining spheres are analyzed. The results of the experimental study of the components of the professional readiness to work on a specialty are highlighted. The prospects for further research in the context of improving professional training in the field of special education are outlined.

AbstractWe describe a method for constructing a structural model of an unlabeled target two-dimensional line drawing by analogy to a known source model of a drawing with similar structure. The source case is represented as a schema that contains its line drawing and its structural model represented at multiple levels of abstraction: the lines and intersections in the drawing, the shapes, the structural components, and connections of the device are depicted in the drawing. Given a target drawing and a relevant source case, our method of compositional analogy first constructs a representation of the lines and the intersections in the target drawing, then uses the mappings at the level of line intersections to transfer the shape representations from the source case to the target; next, it uses the mappings at the level of shapes to transfer the full structural model of the depicted system from the source to the target.

Given the rapid projected growth of magnesium casting usage in the automotive parts marketplace, there is a critical need to develop casting technologies applicable for a wide variety of part shapes, sizes, and production rates. The application of magnesium components will allow reduction in vehicle weight, improvement of parts-consolidation and minimization of noise/vibration characteristics. Magnesium is considered the fastest-growing metal in cars. Many of the earliest applications are instrument panel components, valve covers, etc. These are produced by a reasonably mature diecasting technology. Many potential structural components for automobiles could be converted to magnesium if a high volume, cost effective manufacturing process were developed. In this paper we propose a modified vacuum-sealed molding process for magnesium casting. Some results of computer modeling and design of experimental research are presented.

This paper deals with the methodology of experimental research of phonosemantics complexes that are able to actualize the emotional function in modern English film discourse. It is claimed that such type of investigation must be held by means of perceptual and acoustic analyses. The article contains the program of investigation, its main stages including corpus, participants (auditors- informants and auditors-phoneticians), and their tasks. Acoustic analysis was directed on proving the results of perceptive analyses by counting and evaluation of tonal, dynamic and temporal characteristics. The given methodological grounds create a fundamental basis for investigation of phonosemantic means and complexes of modern English motion pictures.

Abstract The present study analyzes the operation length of internal forces (DDSW) understood as the length of the flow of internal forces along the shortest possible internal routes. The operation length of internal forces is determined on the basis of stresses and the given volume in the constructional space. The minimum DDSW of the structure satisfies the criterial conditions of the most rigid structure, where the potential energy of deformation and the deformation energy potential is the same in the whole volume and thus the potential gradient is zero.

This Case Study is to describe an application of a two-level approximation method in optimally determining the stacking sequences of a practical corrugated central cylinder. Being housed in the center of a practical satellite, this cylinder can support many of the structural components and functional devices in the satellite. For the purpose of reducing its mass meanwhile maintaining good mechanical properties, the stacking sequences of this cylinder are to be optimally designed under given constraints in this paper. To address this problem, an optimization model was first established by minimizing the structural mass based on initial lay-ups. With the given lay-ups for multi-parts of this cylinder, the existence of each ply was to be determined in terms of discrete variables. Meanwhile, the ply thicknesses were also treated as continuous variables. The two-level approximation method combined with a genetic algorithm previously proposed by the authors was adopted as the optimization method. According to the practical engineering considerations, multiple optimizations were conducted by starting from different initial lay-ups to search more possible optimization designs. After optimization, it was found that compared with the empirical designs, the mass of the main cylinder could be significantly decreased by obtaining some reasonable stacking sequences.

There are summarized the experimental researches, previously performed, concerning viscous-elastic characteristics changes of PP due to recycling. There are presented, comparatively, the results for the virgin and 10 times recycled polypropylene. Using CAD-CAM it is studied the influence of the PP viscous-elastic characteristics changes due to recycling on the pipe extrusion head design, aiming to obtain a good extrusion product (expressed in the given case by the pipe dimensions stability). It resulted that it is compulsory to do experimental research to obtain the actual viscous-elastic properties of the polymer after many times recycles, because these properties affect significantly the output and the annular uniformity of the pipes thickness.
