The use of media in the learning process is very important to support the learning process, in the modern era, graphic media is the most attractive medium, by using graphic media children can understand messages and help them to be more motivated to learn, the problem is when Graphic media is not able to develop and monotonous will make students tend to be bored and reduce motivation to learn, this paper, development of graphic media is something needs to develop, the affect children become active and have high learning motivation, several graphic media need to be developed such as Graphics, diagrams, charts, sketches, posters, comics, photo media, flannel boards and bulletin boards, educators (teachers) can present graphic media through visual media presenting, ideas through the presentation of words, sentences with numbers, and symbols or pictures. Graphics are used to attract attention, clarify the presentation of ideas, and illustrate facts, they are interesting and memorable. The advantages of graphic media can simplify and accelerate students' understanding of the message conveyed, increase student attention, and an affordable price. While the weakness of graphic media is requires special skills in its manufacture, especially for more complex graphics and the presentation of messages is only a visual element

Teachers have a duty to encourage, guide and provide learning facilities to achieve goals. Teachers have a responsibility to see everything that happens in the classroom to help student development. Teachers must be able to carry out their duties properly by first having to understand carefully the matters relating to the teaching and learning process, because the success of the learning process is supported by the ability of the teacher to develop and generate activeness and students in the learning process. The research method used is the Quasi Experiment (Quasi Experimental Method) with the research design as the basis for the implementation of the research is to distinguish the influence of the Inquiry method and the effect of conventional methods on learning outcomes of Citizenship Education in terms of high learning motivation and low learning motivation where the treatment class is class Va student and Vb class. The following is presented sequentially descriptive data regarding: (1) Civics learning outcomes students are taught using scramble learning model, (2) Civics student learning outcomes are taught using the expository model, (3) Civics student learning outcomes have high learning motivation, (4) Civics student learning outcomes have motivation to learn low, (5)Civics learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation are taught with the Scramble learning model, (6) Civics learning outcomes of students who have low learning motivation are taught with the Scramble learning model, (7) Civics learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation are taught using the expository learning model, (8) Civics learning outcomes of students who have low learning motivation are taught using the expository learning model.

The low learning motivation of students in the learning process. The initial motivation of students is 69% (less), namely out of 14 students, only four students meet the indicators of success. It is because teachers still dominate teaching and learning activities so that learning is teacher-centered. In the learning process, some students did not pay attention to the lessons given by the teacher. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and learning achievement of students through the cooperative model of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type assisted by audio-visual media. This type of research is classroom action research. The research procedure was carried out in two cycles. The source of the data taken is the entire class V, totaling 14 students. Data collection methods used are documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed an increase in student motivation. Students' learning motivation in the first cycle reached 74% (enough) as many as 8 students had met the success indicators, and in the second cycle, it was 81% (good) as many as 12 students had met the success indicators. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type cooperative model can increase students' motivation and learning achievement.

Abstract: Learning is a process that can not be separated from human life. Psychic impulse to learn is the motivation to learn. In the learning process, parents are among the factors that have a role. This study aims to determine the relationship of socio-economic status of parents with students' learning motivation. Data were collected through questionnaires. The results showed there was no correlation between socio-economic status of parents with learning motivation of Medicine Faculty Sam Ratulangi University class of 2013 students p = 0.444 (p > 0.05) and the correlation value is -0.062. It can be concluded that there was no correlation between socioeconomic status of parents with students’ learning motivation.Keywords: socio-economic status, learning motivationAbstrak : Belajar merupakan proses yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia,, Dorongan psikis dalam diri untuk belajar merupakan motivasi belajar. Dalam proses belajar, orangtua merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki peran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Pengambilan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa angkatan 2013 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi p=0,444 (p > 0,05) dan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,062. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Status sosial ekonomi, motivasi belajar

ABSTRACTClass management is needed by the teacher in utilizing the potential of the class,making learning and learning to remain optimal, enjoyable and to improve optimalconditions in the event of a disruption in the learning process. Motivation to learnis an impulse from inside and outside the self of students who can move it to bemore active in learning activities in order to obtain the desired goals by changingbehavior both from the aspects of thought, affective and psychomotor. This studydiscusses the motivation of the class towards the motivation to learn history andthe Islamic participants of class IX of YMPI Rappang's MTs. This type of researchis field research with associative quantitative design. As a technique of datacollection, namely observation, questionnaire and documentation with descriptiveand infrequent analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) Management ofclasses in class IX of YMPI Rappang MTs showed a good category with apercentage rate of 77.4%. (2) Learning motivation of students shows a goodcategory with a percentage of 85.4%. (3) There is a significant difference betweenthe learning class towards the learning motivation of YMPI Rappang's IX gradestudents. This can be seen from the results of manual calculations tcount = 9.406>t table = 1998 and the value of R Square or r2 obtained 0.564. The value of XI forstudents 'learning motivation in Islamic culture class (Y) was 56.4%, while 43.6%of students' learning motivation at MTs YMPI Rappang was related to othervariables not expected by researchers.

Factors that cause boredom in learning process are the lack of variety of methods, models, and media. An alternative to increase learning motivation in learning process is by using games. The main problem of this research is how to increase students motivation to make learning outcomes optimized. The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation to learn istimâ' (listening) in Arabic is by using educational games. This study used classroom action research using a cycle model. The results of the study shows that educational games can increase students' learning motivation, shown by the comparison of initial motivation and after giving an action using educational games. The initial motivation data was in average 42.36%, in the category of low learning motivation, after giving an action in the first cycle it reached to an average 78.33%, high category, and increased in the second cycle with average 93.28%, very high category. The study concluded that educational games can increase motivation in learning istimâ' in Arabic.

This study is the students' perceptions about the teachers’ psychological sense of humor toward the learning motivation of grade VII SMPN 3 Batusangkar showed a positive relationship. There is a relationship between students' perceptions about the sense of humor with the learning motivation. This research is a correlation research that shows a positive relationship. The population of this study was the students of grade VII SMPN 3 Batusangkar which amounted to 214 people with the sample of the study amounted to 54 people taken with random sampling. The instrument in this research is questionnaire which Likert scale with four choices of answers consisting of: SS (Strongly agree, S (Agree), TS (Disagree), and STS (strongly disagree) The results of this study illustrates that there is a positive relationship of humor with the students motivation to learn who give a good impact in learning process with a pleasant situation and comfortable and not rigid so it can improve the spirit of student learning.

Abstrak: Keterbatasan metode, media dan komunikasi guru pada pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas IV menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya PTK ini. Keterbatasan tersebut berdampak pada motivasi belajar siswa 66,67% rendah dan hasil belajar 58,33 % belum tuntas. Jurnal ini menjawab rumusan masalah apa dan bagaimana metode Problem Based Learning berbantuan media permainan ular tangga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini ialah, pada kondisi awal siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi hanya 33%, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 54,17% dan semakin meningkat di siklus II menjadi 83,33%. Kuncinya terletak pada belajar sambil bermain berhasil menguatkan motivasi belajar.Abstract: Limitations of methods, media and teacher communication on the learning of grade IV Mathematics students to the background of this PTK. These limitations have an impact on the motivation of learning 66.67% students low and 58.33% learning outcomes have not been completed. This journal answers the formulation of what problems and how the Problem Based Learning method-aided game of snakes ladder can improve motivation and student learning outcomes. The result of this research is, in the initial condition of students who have high learning motivation only 33%, then in the first cycle increased to 54.17% and increased in cycle II to 83.33%. The key lies in learning while playing successfully strengthens the motivation to learn.

Abstract The Covid 19 outbreak has an impact on various areas of life, especially the world of education. Student learning is required to transform and adapt to the conditions of the 4.0 century. This is what motivates researchers to conduct research on children's learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on student motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic in grade IV MI Al Fajar Pringsewu. This research is a quantitative study with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate there is an effect of audio visual media on student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic with a known value tcount > ttable (4.118 > 2.056) then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. Besides that, school is also a product where humans are educated and nurtured to become smart, productive, and qualifield human beings. The main purpose of education is to help students develop every potential that exsists in them so that they can become human beings who are balanced between their personal and social lives.  The quality of student education outcomes can be determined by many factors, one of the most important is student motivation. Student motivation to learn greatly determines the success achieved by these student. Student who have high learning motivation will be able to achieve high learning achievement as well, but conversely, stuydent who have low motivation tend to get low learning achievement as well and will experience higher learning disabilities. To help increase a student’s motivation to learn, it is necessary to know the level of student motivation to learn. The phenomenon in the field shows that the level of student learning motivation is very important to know so that it can help these student to improve it, this is known after the researcher conducted interviews with supervisors at the school, according to the supervisor some students in the school had low motivation. To actively participate in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Student motivation in this study is related to motivation, driving, change, and goals of motivation it self. The school that was taken as the research location was MI I’anatusshibyan 02 Parung. The students referred to in this study were all students of MI I’anatusshibyan 02 Parung.

The objective of this study was to obtain data and information, and to figure out the combination of learning strategy with high learning motivation as a result of descriptive essay writing skills. Target outcomes of the study are published in scientific journals and proceedings. This research method is experimental with 2 x 3 factorial design. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. Before the inferential stage, the stage begins with normality and homogeneity test. At the inferential stage the two lanes variants-analysis would have been used. This would have been continued by Tukey’s test if there is interaction between learning strategy and motivation to learn.
