The purpose of this study is examining the impact of meaningful learning model on students’ reading comprehension. This study uses true experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The class is divided into two classes; experimental class who receives treatments by using meaningful learning model and control class who receives treatments by using conventional teaching model. The total of sample is 110 students who are selected from eight grade students of junior high schools either state or private schools in Central Java Province. To obtain valid data, this study uses tests given at the pre-test and post-test in both classes. After the data is obtained, the data is analyzed by using the SPSS t-test formula. Based on the results of the calculations in the pretest and posttest, it was known that both classes are homogeneous and normally distributed from the calculation of the Levene’s test method and Saphiro-Wilk. In the pretest, t-count (0.452) is lower than t-table (1.982), whereas in the posttest, t-count (2.361) is higher than t-table (1.982). This indicates that meaningful learning model has an influence on student grades in reading comprehension rather than using conventional teaching model.   Received: 4 October 2021 / Accepted: 17 November 2021 / Published: 3 January 2022

This research aims to know the effect of quantum teaching model base character education towards science competency knowledge in 5th grade students of Gugus Dewi Sartika East Denpasar academic year 2017/2018. This study was an experiment with quasy experiment design using the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is all 5th grade of Gugus Dewi Sartika East Denpasar amounting to 328 students. Sample were taken by random sampling technique. The sample of this research is 5th A grade in SDN  10 Kesiman amount 42 students as the experiment group and 5th B grade in SDN 3 Kesiman amount 53 student as the control group. The data were collected using the test method in the form of a standard multiple choice objective test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential in shape gain score from science competency knowledge. The result if data analysis obtained mean of gain skor from experiment group 16X"> =0,34 > 16X"> =0,25 control group. From the hypothesis test using t-test while at 5% significance level and df 83 obtained thitung =3,214 > ttabel=2,000. Based on these result can be concluded that quantum teaching model base character education influence of science competency knowledge of 5th grade students SD Gugus Dewi Sartika East Denpasar academic year 2017/2018.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penerapan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja, (2) Untuk mengetahui respon siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja terhadap pengaruh penerapan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Post Test Only Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur ranah kognitif. Data hasil belajar dianalisis melalui uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas dengan hasil 2 kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan untuk respon menggunakan metode angket. Hasil analisis angket E-Modul mata pelajaran Video Editing berbasis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning diketahui 67% respon sangat positif, 33% respon positif. Kata Kunci : E-Modul, Project Based Learning, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa The objectives of this study is to find out (1) the effect of applying e-model on video editing lesson based Project Based Learning method on XI grade of Multimedia at SMK TI Global Singaraja. (2) The students' respondent on the XI grade of Multimedia at SMK TI Global Singaraja toward the affect of e-model video editing lesson based project based learning method. This study is quasi experimental with used Post Test Only Control Group Design. Data collection was done using Objective Test Method to measure the cognitive domain. The result of the data was analyzed through prerequisite test which is normality and homogeneity test with the result 2 groups normally distributed and homogeneous, continued with hypothesis test which means there was a significant effect between using e-model video editing lesson based Project Based Learning model towards the students' learning result. While for the respondent was using questionnaire method. The aim of this research is to know the impact of the applying Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods toward the learning motivation and result of physics learning. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with posttest only control group design. The population was all student of grade XI in senior high school 1 of  Labuapi. The sampling technique used saturation sampling, while the sample are class XI MIA 1 as the experimental 1 class, and the XI MIA 2 as experimental 2 class. Experimental 1 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model with experimental methods and experimental 2 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model without experimental methods. The instrument of motivation learning was used motivation questionnaire and instrument the result of physics learning used multiple choice test. The research hypothesis was tested using Manova-test, data analysis shows that Sig. <0,05 which mean that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there are effect of Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods on student’s motivation and physics learning result.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat yang berjumlah 20 kelas (459 anak). Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 anak kelompok B1 TK Kusuma sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 20 anak kelompok B1 TK Widya Kusuma Sari sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non tes berupa observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 7,463 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk = 43 diperoleh ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung = 7,463 > ttabel = 2,021, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran picture and picture. Adapun nilai rata-rata gain skor kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan kelompok eksperimen X1 = 0,74 > X2 = 0,39 pada kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran picture and picture berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran picture and picture, kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan, kognitif. The study aims at revealing the effect of picture and picture learning model toward the mastery of numeral concept in children group B in kindergarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat academic year 2017/2018. This type of study is a quasi experiment with nonquivalent control group design. The population of this study was all children (459 children) in group B (20 classes) in kindigarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat. The sample was determined through random sampling technique. The samples of study werw 25 children of B1 group in Kusuma kindergarten as the experiment group and of B1 group in Widya Kusuma Sari kindergarten as the control group. The data were collected through non test method in a form of observation. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The data shows thitung = 7,463 and at the significant level 5% ( =0,05) with dk = (25+20) – 2 = 43 obtained ttabel = 2,021. It indicates a significant different in mastering the nominal concept *between the group of children who were taught through the picture and picture learning model with the group who were nou taught through this learning model. The average of the gained score was experiment group X1 = 0,74 > X2 = 0,39 control group. It can be concluded that the picture and picture learning model has a significant effect toward the mastery of numeral concept in children group B in kindergarten Gugus IX Kecamatan Denpasar Barat academic year 2017/2018.keyword : *picture and picture learning model, the mastery of numeral concept, cognitive.

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of group investigation learning model with multi representation on the topic of optical devices on scientific reasoning and <em>problem solving</em> skill. This study were carried out using quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design and two XI MIA classes as sample. The result showed that there were an impact of group investigation learning model with multi representation on the topik of optical devices on scientific reasoning and <em>problem solving</em> skill of high school students. The mean value of scientific reasoning and <em>problem solving</em> ability of experimental class students who learned by group investigation learning model with multi representation is higher than control class students who learned by group investigation learning model.</p><strong>Abstrak</strong>: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran <em>group investigation </em>dengan multi representasi pada topik alat-alat optik terhadap kemampuan penalaran ilmiah dan kemampuan <em>problem solving</em> siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain <em>pretest-posttest control group </em>dengan dua kelas XI MIA sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran <em>group investigation </em>dengan multi representasi pada topik alat-alat optik terhadap kemampuan penalaran ilmiah dan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA. Nilai rerata penalaran ilmiah dan kemampuan <em>problem solving</em> siswa kelas eksperimen yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran <em>group investigation </em>dengan multi representasi lebih tinggi dari siswa kelas kontrol yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran <em>group investigation</em><em>. </em>

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of using the reciprocal teaching model on Jordanians’ first year students at Mutah University in the academic year 2015/2016. 176 participants took part and were arbitrarily selected and divided into two gender mixed groups; the experimental group which was exposed to the reciprocal teaching model (RT), and the control group which was taught using the traditional method (TM). A total of fourteen  independent sample T-tests and paired samples T-tests were used for the purpose of comparing and analysing the scores of the pre-tests and the post-tests, and with the intention to pinpoint the effect of using RT as well as to measure the extent of such effect on the development of the students’ reading comprehension skills. Through the analysis of the results and in line with the two questions of this study, it has emerged that the use of the RT model has a positive effect on the first year students’ reading comprehension achievement in the experimental group; a fact that is reflected in the significant statistical difference when compared to the reading comprehension achievement of the students from the control group taught using the TM. It has also emerged that although the male students’ scores are better than the scores attained by the female students, the use of the RT remains of great benefits for both; male and female students.

The purpose of this research is to determine the significant differences of mastering science knowledge competence between class that are taught by cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining based reinforcement and class that are taught by conventional learning in grade IV students in SD Gugus Budi Utomo East Denpasar in academic years 2017/2018. This research is a quasi eksperimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The research subject is the IV grade of SD Gugus Budi Utomo amounting 315 student. This researh consists of 2 classes of 66 students is taken by random sampling technique. The data were collected using the test method in the form of a standard multiple choice objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics that t-test. Based on data analysis result obtained  thitung = 5,540 > ttabel = 2,000 at 5% significance  level and dk = 64. So Ho rejected which means  there is a significant differences of mastering science knowledge competence between class that are taught by cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining based reinforcement and class that are taught by conventional learning. The mean of experimental class is 86,90 and the control class is 77,36. Thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning  model type student facilitator and explaining based reinforcement  influence on the mastery competence of science’s knowledge of grade IV students in SD Gugus Budi Utomo East Denpasar in academic years 2017/2018.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the learning model Guided inquiry on the learning outcomes of science process skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 Wonoayu. The design of this study is the non-equivalent control group design. The samples used in this study were 2 classes with sampling techniques. Where from the two classes, one class is used as the experimental class, which is given treatment by using the guided inquiry learning model, while the next class is used as the control class by using the learning model that is usually used in the class. The research instrument used was a matter of science process skills with data collection techniques using the test method in the form of pre-test and post-test questions. Data analysis techniques are carried out using the "t" test. From the "t" test, the results show that there is a significant influence between the guided inquiry learning model on science process skills.

This research aims to determine the impact of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on learning outcomes and students’ motivation for learning. This type of experimental research with quasi design methods, i.e. using design research nonequivalent control group design. The subject in this research was students from class VII at MTs Islam Selaparang Putra by sampling the VII A class as an experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The research instruments are test and questionnaires. The results of the research showed that there was an impact of the STAD type learning model towards learning outcomes and students’ motivation. The average scores of learning outcomes on students using the STAD model are higher than students taught with conventional models and the students’ motivation for learning with the STAD model is higher than those with conventional models. Implications for teachers with learning STAD model learning are more organized, so that teachers can be more optimal in the learning process. Students become more active and confident because of the help of the group members and the provision of reward at the end of learning to support motivation for students in learning.

<p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract:</strong><strong> </strong>This research motivated by the result of evaluation student’s ability in literacy science through test PISA more declined. Student’s ability in literacy science influenced by learning model. Learning model reputed can increase student’s ability in literacy science is model discovery learning, because discovery learning modified between invention and investigation problem, so it can increase student’s comprehension of concept applied in daily activity. Purpose of this research is to know influenced model discovery learning at sience integrated to authority student’s literacy science. Design of this research is nonequivalent control Group Design. Location of this research is SMP N I on 16-23 May 2016. Method to take data was used test and non-test method they are pretest and posttest, quesioner, and observation sheet. The Test used question of PISA 2009 and it has been translated into Indonesian language. Above to first stage of data analysis concerning result of prestest trough normalities dan homogeniety test showed that both of experiment and control class was normal and homogen. Result of students' ability to answer science questions of PISA at the fastest stage for experiment and control class have averaged 60 and 61, both of the sample classes have value of average which almost same. Above to last stage of data analysis through t-test showed that tcount &lt; ttable therefore Ho was received. The conclusion of this research is there is not influence of model discovery learning at science integrated to authority student’s literacy science. Model discovery learning can’t influenced to student’s literacy science because at the first stage to introduce PISA question, students need teacher’s intensive guidance, it’s antipodes with model discovery learning which in applied of model discovery learning, students ask to learn by them self antonomously, therefore it will be effective if used model contextual learning at introduced stage of literacy science and PISA’s question.</p><p class="KeywordsEngish"> </p><p class="AbstrakIndonesia"><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil evaluasi kemampuan litersi sains siswa di Indonesia melalui tes PISA semakin menurun. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang dianggap mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa adalah model discovery learning, karena model ini memodifikasi antara penemuan dan penyelidikan dalam memecahkan masalah sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dapat diterapkan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu  terhadap penguasaan literasi sains  siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Noneequivalent Control Group Desain. Lokasi penelitian adalah SMP Negeri I Tayu pada tanggal 16 sampai 23 Mei 2016. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dari kelas VII. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yang diambil degan teknik cluster random sampling.  Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes yaitu pretest dan postest, angket, dan lembar observasi. Tes  yang diberikan menggunakan soal-soal yang diperoleh dari soal PISA 2009. Hasil kemampuan siswa dalam menjawab soal sains PISA pada tahap postest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 60 dan 61,. Berdasarkan analisis tahap akhir dengan menggunakan uji t menyatakan bahwa t<sub>hitung</sub>&lt;t<sub>tabel </sub> yaitu t<sub>0,281</sub>&lt; t<sub>0,559</sub> olehkarenaitu H<sub>0</sub>diterima.<sub>.</sub>Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh model discovery learning pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu terhadap penguasaan literasi sains siswa. Model discovery learning tidak memberi pengaruh terhadap penguasan literasi sains siswa karena pada tahap pengenalan soal PISA siswa membutuhkan tuntunan dan bimbingan guru secara intensif, hal ini berlawanan dengan model discovery learning dimana dalam penggunaan model discovery learning ini siswa di tuntut untuk belajar mandiri untuk menemukan dan menyelidiki suatu masalah, oleh karena itu akan lebih efektif jika dugunakan model pembelajaran langssung  pada tahap pengenalan soal-saoal terjemahan PISA.</p>
