This study aims to describe the effectiveness of learning materials with a guided inquiry model with the REACT strategy to improve students’ learning achievement on heat and temperature topic. It developed with the 4D model and try outed using the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Data collection methods used validation, observation, and test. The results of this research are that the learning materials have a very valid category and it can be used to improve the learning process. The learning achievement, the average post-test score is 84 with an N-Gain of 0.7 which categorize as medium, while the overall student completeness reached 88.57%. The students have a very good response to learning in the range of the answer with agree and very agree. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that learning materials of the guided inquiry learning model with the REACT strategy can improve the students’ learning achievement on heat and temperature topic. Guided inquiry with the REACT strategy learning is expected to be able to make students more actively in the process of gaining their knowledge directly so that students are easier to remember and interpret.

This study aims to describe students' understanding of concepts using learning cycle 5E model in the topic of colloid. This type of research is developmental research used Dick and Carey model on treatment by using the One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. Data collection methods used were observationand  tests, while the data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis and Wilcoxon matched pairs test (α = 5%). The results of this research are learning materials of lesson what have been developed had a validity, generally very good category to be used. Implementation of application of learning materials developed is very good, improving students’ learning outcomes which we can see from the completeness of individually and classically, as well as enhancing students' understanding of concepts revealed by  normalized gain score with high category.

Theoretically, this research contributes to: (1) the development of educational psychology theory, and (2) the development of research-based learning theory; the research results are especially relevant to methods such as authentic learning, problem-based learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning, process oriented guided inquiry learning (POGIL) and contextual teaching and learning, which are currently increasingly popular. Practically, this research can be used as a teaching material for lecturers and students in lectures, and may be particularly beneficial as a comparative or supplemental book to enrich the educational psychology materials used in a new course of Faculty of Education and Teachers’ Training at Tidar University. The objectives of this study were: (1) to propose appropriate learning materials for the subject of educational psychology using research-based learning models, and (2) to test the effectiveness of research-based learning models, especially POGIL. The research was conducted among the second semester students in English Education Study Program. The research method used was Research and Development, which consisted of three steps, namely preparation, development, and reporting of results. The data analysis technique used was one group pre-test post-test design. This research succeeded in developing teaching materials for educational psychology using a research-based learning model and indicates that POGIL can improve students’ learning outcomes. The research results show that: (1) there is a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after learning using the POGIL model, as proven by the increase in the mean score from 58 to 91, and (2) there is no significant difference between the three sample groups using POGIL model in their learning, as proven by t-count being smaller than t-table, and the average post-test score of both groups 1 and 2 being 90, and the average post-test score of group 3 being 93.

This study aims to produce a feasible learning materials to improve junior high school learning achievement. Learning takes place by applying the model of guided inquiry learning materials. The research subjectives are learning materials. This research is the development of the design of the learning materials used a model of Dick and Carey and tested in class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung to the design of the  trial  one  group pretest-posttest. The  Data were  analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) a valid learning materials developed; (2) the learning process took place well; (3) the students were more active in learning; (4) the learning achievement of students has increased by a score of N-gain high category; (5) the students responded positively towards learning. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model materials that have been developed feasible used to improve student learning achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang layak untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan cara menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing. Sasaran penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Dick and Carey dan diujicobakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung dengan desain uji coba one group pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid; (2) pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) siswa lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran; (4)  hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan skor N-gain berkategori tinggi; (5) Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan  layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract This research is aimed to produce MYOB learning materials in accounting computer learning which was valid, practice, and having the potential effects toward the learning achievement. This research prosedure using Rowntree Model which had three stages, which consists of planning, developing, and evaluating. The data validity was done through the expert evaluation stage with the percentage result from the media expert and the material expert show the results of 80% with a valid category used the validation sheet. The data practicality was done through the one-to-one evaluation with the percentage results of 87,5% and small group evaluation with the percentage results of 92,44% in the very practically category through questionnaire. The data potential effects was done through the field test stage using pretest shows the results of 45%. The data posttest shows the results of 85%. It shows an increasing in learning achievement of 40% and it can be concluded that the MYOB learning materials in accounting computer learning which was valid, practice, and having the potential effects toward the learning achievement. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar MYOB untuk pembelajaran komputer akuntansi yang valid, praktis, serta berefek potensial terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Rowntree yakni tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi. Untuk melihat validitas, dilakukan pada tahap evaluasi ahli dengan hasil persentase dari ahli media dan ahli materi sebesar 80% dengan kategori valid melalui lembar validasi. Untuk melihat praktikalitas, dilakukan tahap evaluasi one-to-one dengan hasil penilaian sebesar 87,5% dan tahap evaluasi small group dengan hasil penilaian sebesar 92,44% dengan kategori sangat praktis melalui angket. Untuk melihat efek potensial, dilakukan pada tahap field test dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar awal (pre-test) diperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 45% dan hasil belajar akhir (post-test) diperoleh hasil sebesar 85%, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar yakni sebesar 40% dan disimpulkan bahan ajar MYOB berefek potensial terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.

This research was aimed to find out the effectiveness of using individual learning in teaching listening of song and conversation. The research was experimental research and the design that was used was the one group pre-test post-test design. The population of the study was the second grade students of MTs. NW. Lingsar which consisted of one class and this research took all population as sample, consisting of 27 students. Data of the research were primarily gathered from the pre-test and post-test of listening test, in which the result of pre-test was used as control class and the result of post-test was as the experimental class. In analyzing data of the research, the researcher used t–test formula. Based on the analysis, it was gotten that t-test score was 27.76 with the degree of freedom (df) = 26 and t-table was 2,056 at the significant level =0.05. Because t-test is higher than t-table meaning that individual learning is effective in teaching listening at the second grade students’ of MTs. NW. Lingsar in the academic year 2017/2018.

This study aimed to analyze the improvement in physics learning outcomes of XI MIA State Madrasah Aliyah 2 students in East Flores after being taught using the Guided Inquiry Learning model. The type of research was a pre-experimental design with one group Pretest – Post-test. The sample in this study was saturated, namely all students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Flores. The research instrument used was a learning achievement test consisting of 30 items in multiple-choice, validated by two experts. The data obtained was then analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner for the increased learning achievement using the N-gain test. The results showed an increase in student learning achievement, as seen from the acquisition of physics learning outcomes after the guided inquiry learning was applied. Based on the N-gain value, students’ physics learning achievement was in the medium category. Also, the acquisition of student learning outcomes has increased after the guided inquiry learning model was applied--The results of this study expected to be one of the solutions in learning physics.

Lack of understanding of the concepts students are not due only to the lack of ability of students to absorb the material submitted by teachers, but also influenced by the ability of teachers to manage teaching and learning activities. Teachers have an important role in the sustainability of good teaching, one of them to set up an exciting learning device so enthusiastic student learning. This study aims to develop learning tools guided inquiry-based high school physics to enhance students' understanding of concepts on the subject of Dynamic Electricity. Development of the 4D model and tested in class X in SMAN 1 Babat odd semester academic year 2012/2013. This research is the development of research trial design using the One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Data collection methods used were questionnaires and observation, while the data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that some of the findings: RPP performing well and a high degree of reliability; activity is the dominant student observation / experiment; students 'understanding of the concept after learning improving students' responses to learning a positive model of guided inquiry. Based on the results of this study concluded that the quality of learning that have developed viable use in teaching to enhance students' understanding of physics concepts. Kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa tidak disebabkan hanya pada kurangnya kemampuan siswa menyerap materi yang disampaikan guru, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kegiatan belajar mengajar. Guru mempunyai peran penting pada keberlangsungan pembelajaran yang baik, salah satunya untuk menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga siswa antusias mengikuti pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika SMA berbasis guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada pokok bahasan Listrik Dinamis. Pengembangan perangkat  menggunakan model 4D dan diujicobakan pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Babat pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa temuan yaitu: RPP terlaksana dengan baik dan derajat reliabilitas tinggi; aktivitas siswa yang dominan adalah pengamatan/percobaan; pemahaman konsep siswa setelah pembelajaran meningkat; respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran model guided inquiry positif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mempunyai kualitas layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa.

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to know the effect of guided inquiry learning model assisted by virtual laboratory to student’s learning achievement in temperature and heat topic in class X of SMA N 1 Langsa Academic year 2014/2015. The research method was quasi experimental. The population were all students of class X SMA N 1 Langsa Academic Year 2014/2015 that consist of 11 classes. Two classes selected by cluster random sampling as sample. One class as experiment class using guided inquiry learning model assisted by virtual laboratory and another class as control class using conventional learning. The instrument in this research were multiple choices and observational sheet. Multiple choices with 5 options and 20 questions were valid while observational sheet is used to measure the student’s activity during learning process. The results that were obtained: post test mean value of the experiment class was 78.70 and 63.54 was the mean value of the control class. Normality and homogeneity of the test result from the both samples was normal and homogenous. From the calculation of t test for post test data, obtained that  tcount value was bigger than ttable value. Based on the observation that has been done by observers with using observational sheet obtained that student’s activity in experiment class is greater than control class. So, it can be concluded that there was the significant effect of guided inquiry learning model assisted by virtual laboratory to student’s learning achievement in temperature and heat topic in class X of SMA N 1 Langsa Academic year 2014/2015.   Keywords: Guided inquiry learning model, virtual laboratory, student’s learning achievement, student’s activity.

Prosocial behavior must always be possessed by every student, especially student scout members. The low prosocial behavior possessed by students of the scout members of SMAN 4 Bone, is very influential in establishing interactions in their environment. This research wants to see an increase in prosocial behavior through caring boy scout activities. The design in this study uses The One Group Pre-Post Test Design. The number of participants in this study were 22 students who were members of the scouts of SMAN 4 Bone using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a scale of prosocial behavior consisting of 40 items. The statistical test used is Wilcoxon with RStudio software version 1.2.1335. The results of this study indicate that the pretest score was M = 108.6 and the post-test score was M = 120.4. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained values ??Z (-4.06) and p (.00 < .05), so there is an increase in prosocial behavior through scout care activities. The difference in the pretest and posttest scores shows that the scout care activities are activities that can improve the prosocial behavior of students, especially for students who are members of the Boy Scouts of SMAN 4 Bone.

Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid; (2) pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) hasil belajar siswa  mengalami peningkatan dengan skor N-gain berkategori tinggi; (4) Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
