The study aimed to know (1) the improvement of students achievement after applying the Discovery learning method, (2) the influence of the students achievement after  applying  the  Discovery  learning  method.  The  study  used  classroom  action research with three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, those are planning, action and observation, reflection, and revision. The subject was the sixth graders of the odd semester at the first state senior high school Kranji, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. The data collection was from the result of formative test, the observation sheet of teaching and learning activity. The analysis result showed that the students achievement has improved from the first cycle antil the third cycle, the first cycle (58,33%), the second cycle (75%), the third cycle (91,33%). The conclusion of the study was he discovery learning can give the positive influence to the students achievement on the Science lesson in the first state elementary school Kranji, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency.

This research is to answer, first whether through a cooperative learning approach with the Discovery Learning method, student learning activities will understand the basic competencies of revenge and hypocrisy in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Marabahan can be improved?. second, whether through a cooperative learning approach with the Discovery Learning method, the teacher's teaching activities on the basic competencies of revenge and hypocrisy in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Marabahan can be improved?. third, whether through a cooperative learning approach with the Discovery Learning method, student learning outcomes on the basic competencies of revenge and hypocrisy in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Marabahan can be improved?.Based on the results of the observation of student activity in cycle I, meeting 1 (50%, moderately active), meeting 2 (61%, active) and cycle II, meeting 1 (61%, active) and meeting 2 (68%, very active) . The application of the cooperative learning approach with the Discovery Learning method has a positive influence in increasing teacher activity, namely in the teaching and learning process activities carried out by the teacher. This can be seen from the results of the first cycle of meeting 1 (56.25%, quite good), meeting 2 (62.5%, good) and cycle II meeting 1 (75%, good), and meeting 2 (87.5%, very good). good).

This study aims to find out how the achievement, understanding and mastery of science subjects after theapplication of problem solving learning and knowing the influence of problem solving learning method inimproving students' achievement and understanding of science lesson material after applied problem solvinglearning. The method used to increase learning activity is through problem solving method. This study wasconducted in class VI of SD Negeri 020 Tembilahan Hilir. The study was conducted in May 2016 with 23students. The result of this research concludes that learning with problem solving method has a positive impactin improving student's learning achievement which is marked by the improvement of students' learning masteryin every cycle, that is cycle I (56,52%) and cycle II (89,96%). Application of problem solving method has apositive influence, that is can improve student's learning motivation; learning method of problem solving has apositive impact on the understanding of the subject matter being taught, whereby by this method students areforced to solve problems related to the subject matter being taught.

This research is Classroom Action Research aimed at improving students mathematics achievement of Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 10 Bulukumba through the implementation of discovery learning method. The subject of the research were Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba. The study was conducted within two cycles. The first cycles was conducted for 4 lessons and the second cycles for 5 lessons. Data were gathered using mathematics achievements test in each final of cycle according the matherial that is taught. Data were then analyzed by employing both qualitative and quantitative analyses. From descriptive analysis show that: (1) Within the first cycle, the students average score reached in the achievement test was 56,83; which was categorized as being in moderate level. Within the second cycle with the correction based on the reflection from the first cycle, there was an improvement of the mathematics achievement of student become 79,98; which was categorized as being in high level. (2) Students were more active in the process of teaching and learning. Beside happened improving mathematics achievement in each cycle caused: (1) The students more the more active forward in front of the class to doing question, improved from 16,9 % become 49 %. (2) The students were the more ask at the implementation happens improved from 15 % become 23 %. (3) The students are doing their homework improved from 57,5 % become 89,5 %. According the analysis data above, it could be concluded that the mathematics achievement of Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 10 Bulukumba improved after the implementation of discovery learning method.

The purpose of this research is to know how to incerease the students’ learning achievement that has been applied learning contextual task-based learning model and to know the influence of contextual learning in  the task-based teaching model to improve achievemen and motivation to learn the material pe civis lesson.   This research is an action research by theree rounds. Each round consists of four phases. Design activities are observation, and revesion. The subject of the research is XI grade students of Bina Informatika Ternate accademic year 2015/2016. Data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. The results of the research showed that students’ achivement increased from round I to III that the round 1, (70.00 % ), (92,50 %)  3 cycles, conclusions of this research is the method of cooperatif learning can be a positive influence on students motivation and achievement in material udaya politics in Indonesia. It means that this model can be used as one of the alternative learning for Pkn.            Kata  kunci: PKn, cooperative learning method

<span lang="EN-US">The success of teaching and learning activities can be known from the results of teacher performance in preparing character-based lesson plans and implementing them in the teaching and learning process in class. This school action research aims to see whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in developing character-based lesson plans and their implementation in teaching and learning process. This research uses 2 cycles. The research procedure has four stages of activities</span><span lang="IN"> are</span><span lang="EN-US">, planning, action, observation and evaluation</span><span lang="IN">,</span><span lang="EN-US"> and reflecting. The study was conducted at SDN 07 Situjuah Gadang. The subject of the research is the class teacher and subject teacher, which totals 7 </span><span lang="IN">teachers.</span><span lang="EN-US"> Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.</span><span lang="EN-US">Based on the results of data analysis that has been stated, that the data obtained from observing the ability of teachers to prepare character-based lesson plans in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing character-based lesson plans.</span>

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus yang terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa untuk setiap indikator yang diteliti. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang dimaksud adalah terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa aktif merespon pertanyaan guru, mengemukakan alasan, menjelaskan kepada teman, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok dan membuat kesimpulan Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Akidah Akhlak Abstract [Tittle: Improving Student’ Activity In Akidah Akhlak Course Through Problem Based Learning Approach]. This research was aimed to improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak through Problem Based Learning (PBL)at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi city.This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the third year students of MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi that consisted of 32 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and field note. The data then was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that the use of PBL approach could improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. After applying PBL approach, the students had a willingness to answer teacher’s questions, give opinions and plain them to the peers, present the result of the discussion and take conclusion. This research  is aimed to find out the target and learning needs of Nautical students at PIP Semarang and designing the appropriate material for Nautical students at PIP Semarang. This is a Research and Development project. The steps of doing this research are (1) need analysis (2) make syllabus (3) designing materials (4) expert consultation (5) try out material (6) evaluation. The subject of this research is the third-semester students of Nautical department at PIP Semarang. The instruments used are questionnaires for need analysis, interview guide and observation sheets. The data were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research recommend three  units namely (1) Initial Call (2) Message Marker and (3) On Board Communication Phrases which are developed with communicative approach. The research gives contribution to the teaching and learning English at Nautical Department of Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang.

The purpose  of this activity is for increasing  students interest  in learning  at MI Nasrul  Ulum Klagensrampat. This activity uses a learning  method in conveying material  to students.By applying this method the writer hopes that the learning process can be achieved properly. Therefore, it is very important for educators  to recognize several kinds of learning  methods so that students feel happy and comfortable when learning takes place. The writing of this work were supported by the researcher’s activity after doing identification  and communication with the teacher,  so that the researchers and the teacher  were able to find out the obstacles faced by the students in teaching and learning  activity which has been done. In this activity, the researcher applied various methods of effective and innovative teaching which were able to increase students learning interest. The learning methods are puzzle method, flashcard method, silent way method, make a match method, snowball method, bamboo method, and monopoly method

The objective of the research is to improve the third grade students’ simple communication ability of SD Muhammadiyah Macanan in the academic year of 2017/2018 with the use of Fun English Pictures media. It was expected that Fun English Pictures could improve the students’ simple communication ability. Based on the observation, there were some problems in the teaching and learning of simple communication. To solve those problems, the researcher implemented Fun English Pictures as a learning media. The research was carried out through action research that consisted of two cycles. The researcher collaborated with the English teacher in implementing the actions and an observer. The data were in the forms of qualitative. The qualitative data were in the forms of field notes, observation sheet, interview transcripts, and photographs. The validity used were democratic validity, outcome validity, process validity, catalytic validity and dialogic validity. The reliability used was time triangulation and investigator triangulation. The steps of the research were reconnaissance, planning, action and observation and reflection. The research found that: (1) Fun English Pictures can improve students’ simple communication ability and can help them to speak confidently, (2) the use of Fun English Pictures can give the students more chances for practicing simple communication, and therefore the students can lose their fears of making mistakes and be more confident, (3) the use of Fun English Pictures can improve the students’ fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary and accuracy.

AbstractThis research is motivated by the result of observation which states the lack of writing ability in writing aspect. This is due to several factors one of which is the lack of student interest in writing skills, making it difficult to pour ideas of students. The problem of this study is how the process of learning, activity and motivation of students, and the results of learning discovery learning in students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak?This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The research method used is descriptive method, the research form is qualitative, the research procedure is classroom action research (PTK). Data were taken using test and non test instrument. The data collection tools used are the observation sheet, motivation questionnaire, and the learning result test.The results showed that the discovery learning method can improve the learning result of writing fable text on the students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. It was found that: (1) learning process of writing fable text using discovery learning method has increased. (2) activity and motivation of student in learning to write text of fable by using discovery learning method each cycle better. (3) learning outcomes are also increasing. This is seen in the average of each cycle, in cycle 1 average 73.96, cycle 2 increased to 85.68. (4) students' attitudes following learning improved greatly. Keywords: Writing skill, Text Fable, Discovery Learning Method.
