The modern world is entering a new state of its development associated with the digitalization process. It affects all aspects of society, changes the traditional foundations and imposes new requirements for the educational process. National educational systems cannot remain aloof from this process. The purpose of this article is to study the digitalization process and its impact on the education system of the world and the Russian Federation. The methodology of the article is based on a systemic and structural-functional approach. The validity of the results of the study is based on the use of popular scientific and special methods, including analysis, synthesis, historical and comparative analysis. On the basis of the analysis of scientific literature, the authors formed an overall picture of the problem under consideration. The work analyzes the processes occurring in the world associated with the beginning of a new historical period. The new time also imposes new requirements on various branches of knowledge, updates approaches to the use of modern and future information technologies. A particular place is given to the synergistic approach, which is an optimistic alternative to mastering the knowledge and competencies of the digital education. In the article the authors point to the lag in the theoretical base of the digitalization process, the lag in infrastructure, shortcomings in the organization of the educational process, reveal cognitive contradictions and, at the same time, show possible ways to solve them.

This article is a review of the monograph «The Roles of Technology and Globalization in Educational Transformation», published in 2019 under the editorship of B. F. Adeoye and G. Arome. The authors of the monograph, reflecting in a liberal vein, discuss the trend in the modern education system at both the global and regional levels. In particular, we are talking about the fact that the advent and development of Internet technologies have created a new world – a new communicative space, which is characterized by a certain virtual unity. In this space, if we compare it with the classical educational systems, almost everything has changed, from programs and their focus to the participants in the educational process, the psychology of which has also changed. New technological approaches, the use of forms of online education, were able to make education more flexible and close to the consumer. At the same time, the mobility of educational systems made it possible to actively introduce them into the labor process, reaching the goal of staff development, which is especially necessary in the conditions of innovative development of the economy. In addition, the coverage of territories has expanded. Education in its various forms came to all types of settlements, encompassed poorly developed regions. Despite such an intensive development of educational technologies, a large number of problems remain associated with the pace of development of educational programs and the presence of regional specifics, which impedes the introduction of universal solutions. This gives the authors of the monograph reason to discuss the trends that characterize the modern world education system.

The article describes a project of creating the information educational school environment based on the Digital School model implemented using 1C solutions. The Digital School model is a combination of new information educational technologies, which allow to combine various technological components and modern information technologies within a united information space. This project makes it possible to apply progressive forms of organization of the educational process and active teaching methods, as well as education methodological materials that correspond to the modern world level and allow for the support of students’ creative and innovative activities. The main goal of the project is the creation of the modern information educational environment in Berdigyestyakh secondary school, which contributes to the fulfillment of the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on the approval of the Digital Economy program. The modern information educational environment designed to meet the needs of each participant in the process.


The purpose of the article is to study the history of the implementation of geographic information technologies in the process of teaching geography at school, the readiness of Ukrainian schools in this process and comparing the achievements of Ukrainian and foreign education systems regarding the use of geographic information technologies in the process of teaching geography. Main material. The use of geographic information systems (GIS) during the teaching of geography at school is an issue that is essential for the further development of education. The challenges faced by society, such as the consequences of scientific and technological progress, globalization, climate change, require the training of specialists who will cope with the tasks that the modern world dictates. To train specialists of a new generation, a specialized education is needed, which will give students new content with the help of new teaching methods. Geography as an educational discipline that develops spatial thinking and understanding of the world as a complex system is at the forefront of changes in the educational process. Therefore, in order for students to effectively use material adapted to the conditions of the modern world at geography classes, new methods are needed to help this problem be solved, and above all, the use of geographic information systems. As the analysis of foreign experience and our study on the use of GIS in the educational process with geography showed, the world faces common problems: overloading students, inability (unwillingness) of teachers to learn new technologies, financial and communication problems. In order to introduce geoinformatics methods and skills in working with GIS into the educational process from geography, it is necessary to have, in our opinion, at least four components: 1) the legislative base; 2) use of the best world experience; 3) training of specialist geographers competent in the field of work with geographic information systems; 4) appropriate software and hardware for schools to work with GIS. Conclusions and further research. Polls and experiments of domestic and foreign researchers have shown the effectiveness of GIS as a method in teaching geography in terms of increasing the academic performance of students and increasing the level of assimilation of knowledge. The SWOT analysis of the use of geographic information systems as educational technologies showed problems common to Ukrainian and foreign schools, such as the high cost of software, the lack or lack of technical equipment, and insufficient teacher training. At the same time, the results of the survey indicate that abroad the biggest problem is the lack of motivation of teachers, while in Ukraine the main obstacle is the high cost of logistics. It is promising to conduct a survey of geography teachers at the all-Ukrainian level in order to obtain a complete picture regarding the willingness to introduce the GS in the educational process, in particular on geography.

Over time, the education system around the world has undergone dramatic changes. The traditional education system no longer meets today’s complex needs, where everything is dynamic and evolving at a very rapid pace. In today’s world, a huge number of transformations take place in every nanosecond. Therefore, a new, modern way of learning is needed to systematically cope with such transformations arising from the creation of vast amounts of information. Thus, to address the shortcomings of the traditional education system, the world is moving towards digital education, which solves all the problems and challenges of traditional education. The authors present a comprehensive analysis of the processes of digitalization of education, most actively proceeding in the modern world. The formation of the knowledge society and the digital stage of modern civilizational culture is still a continuous process, which itself is experiencing serious internal contradictions and problems, especially in our country. One of the serious obstacles to the modernization of education is the mismatch between the speed of educational resources and the rate at which the digitalization of the educational process itself is taking place, which is still very low. Education reform is presented in the article by the example of various forms of educational and extracurricular activities aimed at the active use of digital educational resources, including the citywide electronic journal and diary, which has been used for several years in many schools in Russia.

The present article considers the need to predict migration flows using Predictive Analytics. The Russian Federation is a center of migration activity. The modern world is changing rapidly. An effective migration policy requires effective monitoring of migration flows, assessing the current situation in our and other countries and forecasting migration processes. There are information systems in Russia that contain a wide range of information about foreign citizens and stateless persons that provide the requested information about specific foreign citizens, including grouping it on various grounds. However, it is not possible to analyze and predict it automatically using thousands of parameters. Special attention in Russia is paid to digitalization. Using information technologies (artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data analysis) to forecast migration flows in conditions of variability of future events will allow to take into account a number of events and most accurately predict the quantitative and so-called "qualitative" structure of arrivals. The received information will help to develop state policy and to take appropriate measures in the field of migration regulation. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to amend existing legal acts in order to implement information technologies of Predictive Analytics into the practice of migration authorities.

The article deals with the problems of patriotism education in Kazakhstan, associated with the radical socio-economic transformations taking place in the world and in our country. All these changes have caused great changes in the public consciousness and spiritual life of society. With the acquisition of Kazakhstan's status as a sovereign state, the education of patriotism among the younger generation requires a special approach and interpretation, in consequence of the multinational nature of this state. It is necessary to form the right attitude to their Homeland and this should engage society, as patriotism is not inherent in the genes, it is not hereditary, and social quality. Love for the Motherland is the deepest of human feelings, which are the spiritual Foundation of social and state development. Patriotism can become a criterion for assessing the essence and the whole life of a person. Patriotism is presented as a form of axiological development of personality.

The article discusses the features of digitalization of education in the Russian Federation, including preschool education. The definition of the digitalization process, structural components and requirements for educational organizations are presented. The concept of “digital kindergarten” is considered, the ecosystem of digital kindergarten is characterized, approaches to this concept in preschool educational organizations are shown.

Reforms of the education system carried out in post-Soviet Russia within the framework of the «Bologna process», in their conceptual basis, are aimed at building in the Russian Federation an educational system similar to the educational systems of Western countries. One of the main goals of the Bologna Process is «to promote mobility by overcoming obstacles to the effective implementation of free movement». For this, it is necessary that the levels of higher education in all countries are as similar as possible, and the scientific degrees awarded based on the results of education are the most transparent and easily comparable.

This article is devoted to the problem of correlation of the higher education system of the Russian Federation in accordance with the requirements of professional standards. The relevance of this problem is due to a radical change in approaches to personnel Museum policy and in the profile system of higher education. The most controversial issue in this study is the fragmentary implementation of professional standards in the field of Museum business and the dependence of the educational process on them. The article reveals the problems of determining the qualification requirements for a number of Museum professions, and assessing the possibility of their solution at the level of the education system. The main method of research is the method of comparative analysis, which allowed to determine the content load of the definitions used and to correlate professional and educational standards in the study area. The materials of the article can be useful for the formation of working curricula in the field of museology and protection of cultural and natural heritage.
