The incidence of pneumonia in children under five in the district health center in Papuan, North Jakarta, has increased from 2017-2018 to 156 cases. The purpose of this study was to study and explain smoking as a factor in the incidence of pneumonia in infants. This research is a quantitative study using case control design. The sample consisted of 204 respondents consisting of 68 cases namely toddlers with pneumonia and 136 controls without pneumonia. Analysis of the data used is, univariate, bivariate, chi square, and multivariate using multiple logistic regression. The results of this study showed that most of the toddlers are <12 months of age by 35.3%, male sex 51.5%, underweight nutritional status by 85.3%, toddlers with BLB <2500 grams by 20.6% , exclusive breastfeeding was not given for 22.1%, measles immunization was never 27.9%, incomplete DPT immunization was 5.9%, maternal knowledge was less than 79.4%, maternal education was low by 57.4%, mothers work by 16.2%, Density of occupancy is not standard 42.6%, have used mosquito repellent 67.6%, there are family members smoking 61.8%, there is a history of asthma of 64.7%, who do not use health insurance by 33.8%. Colonoscopy is one of the most widely-used procedures for diagnostic examination and treatment of colorectal diseases, either benign or malignant. Colonoscopy results are influenced by several factors such as current medical history, history of drug use, history of accompanying illnesses, and procedures performed. To analyze the factors which affectiverness the results of colonoscopy among the undergoing patients in Regional Public Hospital of Banyumas. The method used was observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. From the consecutive sample selection, it gave 76 respondents. The analysis was done using Univariate analysis with frequency distribution test, bivariate with chi square test and multivariate with multiple logistic regression test. Most of the respondents (51 respondents, 67.1%) aged 46-65 years and most of them were female (41 or 53.1%), they were dominated by high school graduates (56 or 73.7%), and the dominant occupation status was undemployed (31 or 40.8%). The results of the chi square test showed that there was an effect of current disease history, namely complaints / indications for colonoscopy examinations (p 0.011), drug use (p 0.021),accompanying disease history (p 0.003), and implementation procedures (p 0.000) on colonoscopy results. The results of multiple logistic regression showed that the factor that mostly influences the colonoscopy results was the length of preparation time (1-2 days of preparation).In conclusion current medical history, drug use history, accompanying medical history, and procedure administration significantly influence the colonoscopy outcome. And the most influencing factor is the length of preparation time (1-2 days of preparation).

Menurut WHO dan Kementrian Kesehatan menyebutkan bahwa ISPA merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian tertinggi pada balita, bahkan sampai saat ini ISPA masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Berdasarkan laporan Puskesmas Beber tahun 2015 di peroleh data bahwa dari 8700 rumah tangga yang di data terdapat 6.555 rumah yang penghuninya merokok di dalam ruangan, masyarakat banyak mengantisipsi gigitan nyamuk aedes agity dengan menggunakan anti nyamuk bakar, keadaan ekonomi penduduk yang masih rendah akhirnya berdampak pada menurunnya kemampuan menyediakan bahan bakar yang memadai, kebanyakan masyarakat menggunakan kayu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku merokok anggota keluarga, penggunaan anti nyamuk bakar, penggunaan bahan bakar memasak dengan kejadian ISPA pada Balita. Jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain Cross sectional, populasi adalah seluruh balita yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Beber tahun 2015 sebanyak 2593 balita, jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 balita yang diambil secara random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara perilaku merokok anggota keluarga dengan kejadian ISPA (p=0.00), antara penggunaan bahan bakar memasak dengan kejadian ISPA (p = 0,00),  serta tidak ada hubungan antara penggunaan anti nyamuk bakar dengan kejadian ISPA (p=0,184). Kata kunci : ISPA, perilaku merokok, penggunaan  anti nyamuk bakar, penggunaan bahan bakar  memasak.   ABSTRACTAccording to WHO and the Ministry of Health stated that ARI is one of the leading causes of death in infants, even to date the ISPA is still a public health problem in Indonesia. The type of descriptive analytic research with cross sectional design, the population is all under five in the work area of Puskesmas Beber in 2015 as many as 2593 children, the number of samples is 100 balita taken by random sampling. The data were collected by interview using questionnaire. hypothesis testing using chi square test.The result of the research showed that there was a significant correlation between the smoking behavior of family members and the incidence of ARI (p = 0.00), between the use of cooking fuel with the incidence of ARI (p = 0,00), and there was no correlation between the use of mosquito repellent with the incidence of ARI p = 0.184).  Keywords: ARI, smoking behavior, use of mosquito repellent, use of cooking fuel.

Stunting is a condition of physical growth failure characterized by height for age under -2 SD from the WHOchart growth standard. This study used adesign cross sectional with variables of birth weight, non-exclusive breastfeeding, maternal education, education. father, history of ANC visits, socio-economic history, and work history of parents.  This study used a sample of 56 baduta who were stunting. The sample in this study, namely mothers who have baduta. This study uses instruments in the form of a questionnaire and an infantometer. Data analysis used univariable analysis, bivariable analysis with chi square test and multivariable with logistic regression analysis.  The results showed that the prevalence of stunting in the study site was 31.8%, the factor most associated with stunting in the ANC visit was POR = 10.54 (95% CI: 4.20-25.03) p value =

<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em><strong>Background</strong>: Chronic energy deficiency (CED) has been experienced in almost all countries, especially in developing countries such as Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Srilanka, and Thailand. There are several cause factors of CED, one of them is socioeconomic level such as education, employment, knowledge, and family income.</em></p><p><em><strong>Objectives</strong>: To analyze the relationship between socioeconomic level and CED in Sedayu Subdistrict, Bantul,Yogyakarta.</em></p><p><em><strong>Methods</strong>: This was an observational study with cross sectional design. Population were all pregnant women in Sedayu Subdistrict. Samples were selected by using total sampling methods with total sample 201 pregnant women. Data were analyzed by using univariate analysis (descriptive), bivariat (chi-square), and multivariat (multiple logistic regression).</em></p><p><em><strong>Results</strong>: There were no significant relationship between maternal education (p=0.167, RP=1.55, 95% CI:0.84-2.87), maternal employment (p=0.360, RP=1.33, 95% CI:0.72-2.44), maternal knowledge (p=0.892, RP=0.96, 95% CI:0.49-1.85) and CED in pregnant women at Sedayu Subdistrict. However, there was significant relationship between family income with CED in pregnant woman (p=0.004, RP=2.73, 95% CI:1.31-5.68). Multivariat analysis showed that there was significant relationship between family income with CED in pregnant women (R2=0.08, OR=3.22, 95% CI:1.28-8.11). Low family income had a 3.22 times higher chance to incidence of CED in pregnant women.</em></p><p><em><strong>Conclusions</strong>: Sosioeconomic status such as education, employment, knowledge did not associate with CED in pregnant women. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi KEK pada ibu hamil adalah tingkat sosial ekonomi seperti pendidikan ibu, pengetahuan ibu, pekerjaan ibu, dan pendapatan keluarga.</em></p><p><em><strong>Tujuan</strong>: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat sosial ekonomi dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil di Kecamatan Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta.</em></p><p><em><strong>Metode</strong>: Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang ada di Kecamatan Sedayu. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 201 ibu hamil. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis univariat (deskriptif), bivariat (chi-square), dan multivariat (regresi logistik).</em></p><p><em><strong>Hasil</strong>: Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara pendidikan ibu (p=0,17, RP=1,55, 95% CI:0,84-2,87), pekerjaan ibu (p=0,36, RP=1,33, 95% CI:0,72-2,44), dan pengetahuan ibu (p=0,83, RP=0,96, 95% CI:0,49-1,85) dengan kejadian KEK pada Ibu hamil. Namun demikian, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan KEK ibu hamil (p=0,004, RP=2,73, 95% CI:1,31-5,68). Analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan keluarga mempunyai hubungan dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil (R2=0,08, OR=3,22, 95% CI:1,28-8,11), pendapatan keluarga yang rendah memiliki peluang 3,22 kali untuk mengalami kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil.</em></p><p><em><strong>Kesimpulan</strong>: Tingkat sosial ekonomi seperti pendidikan, pekerjaan, pengetahuan ibu tidak berhubungan dengan KEK pada ibu hamil, namun pendapatan keluarga memiliki hubungan yang bermakna secara signifikan antara ibu hamil KEK dan tidak KEK.</em></p><p><strong>KATA KUNCI</strong><em>: kurang energi kronis, pendidikan, pekerjaan, pengetahuan, pendapatan keluarga</em></p>

ABSTRAKImunisasi merupakan suatu bentuk pencegahan penyakit yang dijadikan salah satu kegiatan prioritas Kementerian Kesehatan untuk menurunkan angka kematian pada anak. Akan tetapi di beberapa wilayah Indonesia masih diperoleh cakupan imunisasi dasar lengkap (IDL) yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor ibu, faktor bayi, dan faktor lain yang berhubungan dengan pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap di Kecamatan Manding.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang saat ini memiliki bayi usia 1 – 3 tahun (n=116) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Manding Kecamatan Manding Kabupaten Sumenep yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Variabel independen meliputi faktor ibu, faktor bayi, dan faktor eksternal lain, sedangkan variabel dependen meliputi pemberian IDL. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan kartu imunisasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan derajat kemaknaan p≤0,05.Faktor ibu yang berhubungan signifikan dengan pemberian IDL adalah adalah pendidikan ibu (p=0,000), paparan edukasi tentang IDL (p=0,006), pengetahuan ibu (p=0,000), sikap ibu (p=0,000), jarak rumah ibu ke pelayanan imunisasi (p=0,006). Faktor bayi yaitu kondisi bayi saat pelaksanaan imunisasi berhubungan secara signifikan dengan pemberian IDL (p=0,000). Faktor eksternal lainnya tidak ada yang berhubungan dengan pemberian IDL.Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang paling banyak berhubungan dengan pemberian IDL adalah faktor ibu dan kondisi bayi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya dan strategi yang lebih efektif dan efisien dari tenaga kesehatan untuk mempromosikan pentingnya IDL terutama kepada ibu. Kata Kunci : Imunisasi, Cakupan Imunisasi, Faktor Imunisasi, Kesehatan Anak ABSTRACTImmunization is a form of disease prevention which is one of the Ministry of Health's priority activities to reduce mortality in children. However, in some regions of Indonesia there is still a low coverage of complete basic immunization. This study aims to identify maternal factors, infant factors, and other factors associated with providing complete basic immunization in Manding District.The research design used was descriptive correlational using the cross  sectional approach. The sample in this study were mothers who currently have babies aged 1-3 years (n = 116) in the Manding District, which was determined using the purposive sampling method . Independent variables include maternal factors, infant factors, and other external factors, while the dependent variable includes giving complete basic immunization. Data collection uses questionnaires and immunization cards. Data analysis using chi-square test with significance level p≤0.05.Maternal factors that were significantly associated with complete basic immunization administration were maternal education (p = 0,000), educational exposure about IDL (p = 0,006), maternal knowledge (p = 0,000), maternal attitude (p = 0,000), distance of mother's home to immunization services (p = 0.006). Baby factors, namely the condition of the baby during the implementation of immunization associated significantly with the provision of complete basic immunization (p = 0,000). There are no other external factors related to giving complete basic immunization.From the results of this study it can be concluded that the factors most associated with complete basic immunization administration are maternal and infant conditions. Therefore, more effective and efficient efforts and strategies from health workers are needed to promote the importance of complete basic immunization especially to mothers. Keywords : Immunization, Immunization Coverage, Immunization Factors, Child Health

Background : Based on data from the Karimun District Health Office in 2017, there was 0.9% malnutrition, 4.8% malnutrition, and the prevalence of underweight children was 5.7%. Meanwhile, according to the Center for Data and Information, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017 the nutritional status of children under five to 59 months according to BW / U has 3.7% malnutrition, 14.0% malnutrition, 80.1% good nutrition and 2.1% over nutrition. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and parenting about the nutritional status of toddlers with the incidence of malnutrition in children under five in Baran Timur Village, Meral District, Karimun Regency. Method : This research used an analytical research design with a cross sectional design approach. Meral Karimun Regency. In this study, the population is all mothers who have toddlers aged 3-59 months who live in Baran Timur Village, Meral District, Karimun Regency as many as 460 people. The data is presented in the form of a cross table then the data is analyzed using the SPSS program (Social Science Program Statistics) through the chi-square statistical test using a significant level of 0.05 Result : from 82 respondents, it is found that 1 respondent (33.3%) with less parenting is malnutrition status, 1 respondent (33.3%) with poor parenting was malnourished and 1 respondent (33.3%) with insufficient parenting was good nutritional status. While 21 respondents (63.6%) with moderate parenting were good nutritional status and 41 respondents (89.1%) with good parenting were good nutritional status obtained a p value of 0.003

<p>The results of Nutritional Status Monitoring (PSG) showed that the prevalence of stunting 29,6% in 2017. The adverse effects of stunting in toddlers is a disorder of decreased cognitive abilities and learning achievement, decreased immunity, the risk of degenerative diseases. The city of Bandar Lampung is still faced with acute and chronic nutritional problems because the prevalence of stunting in children under five is still high. Therefore, the research conducted in Sukaraja Village, Panjang District, Bandar Lampung City, considering that the Village has the highest population of poverty compared to other villages. The aim of the research is to obtain information about the risk factors for stunting in children under two years (7-24 months) This type of research was observational using case-control design, with a sample of 53 people for the case group and 106 people for the control group where the selection for the case group and controls was done in a simple random manner. Data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that energy consumption factors (p=0.040), exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.011), history of infectious diseases (p=0.000), history of premature birth (p=0.022), and maternal education level (p=0.029) were related significantly with the incidence of stunting. While protein consumption factors (p=0.283), Zink consumption (p=0.321), Early Breastfeeding Initiation (p=0.538), maternal nutrition status (p = 0.056), maternal age (p=0.438), and distance the age of birth (p=0.188) was not significantly associated with the incidence of stunting of children aged 7-23 months in the Sukaraja Village of Panjang District. Regular home visits by health workers are expected to increase maternal awareness during pregnancy to have a pregnancy checked.</p>

Nationally, the prevalence of stunting in children under five in Indonesia is 30.8%. The incidence of stunting varies from region to region. This study aims to determine the determinants of stunting in children aged 6-23 months in the locus and non-loci in East Luwu Regency. This research is an observational analytic study using a cross sectional design. The study population was 858 children aged 6-23 months in five locus villages and five non-locus villages. A sample of 200 people was taken using purposive sampling method, data were analyzed using the chi square test and logistic regression using the SPSS application. The results showed the similarity in terms of parental education in both regions. In general, the father has a job and the mother is a housekeeper. Income levels are higher in locus areas. As much as 43.1% of baduta had stunting at locus area and 22.4% at non locus. The logistic regression test showed that the factors associated with stunting in the locus were family members smoking (p = 0.032), hand washing practices (p = 0.036) and exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.001). Meanwhile, non-locus areas were a history of diarrhea disease (p = 0.049) and hand washing practices (p = 0.052). Combined analysis of locus and non-loci showed that family members smoking (p = 0.005), exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.001), frequency of complementary feeding (p = 0.027) and hand washing practices (p = 0.001) were determinants of stunting. The most dominant variable in the locus was exclusive breastfeeding, while non-locus was a history of diarrhea. Conclusion: The determinants of locus stunting are family members smoking, hand washing practices and exclusive breastfeeding. Meanwhile, non-locus areas are a history of diarrhea disease and hand washing practices.

ABSTRAK Hipertensi adalah salah satu penyebab kematian nomor satu secara global yang memerlukan penanggulangan yang baik. Hasil Survei Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (SKRT) tahun 2007 menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi penyakit hipertensi pada lansia di Indonesia cukup tinggi, yaitu 83 per 1.000 anggota rumah tangga. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Ogan Ilir tahun 2010 menunjukkan bahwa hipertensi merupakan penyakit terbanyak ketiga yang menyerang lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelaksanaan tugas keluarga di bidang kesehatan: mengenal masalah hipertensi terhadap kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap keluarga dengan anggota keluarga lansia yang berusia lebih dari 60 tahun yang tersebar di Kelurahan Timbangan yang berjumlah 94 responden, dengan menggunakan alat bantu kuesioner. Untuk menguji hubungan digunakan analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pelaksanaan tugas keluarga di bidang kesehatan: mengenal masalah hipertensi terhadap kejadian hipertensi (p=0,000). Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada keluarga agar dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan mengatasi masalah kesehatan anggota keluarganya, khususnya lansia, dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait penyakit hipertensi pada lansia.   Kata kunci: Hipertensi, lansia, tugas keluarga di bidang kesehatan   ABSTRACT Hypertension is one of the number one causes of death globally that needs a good response. AbstrakLatar Belakang: Secara global, persalinan preterm menjadi penyebab utama kematian neonatus usia dini 0-7 hari pertama kehidupan dengan menimbulkan dampak morbiditas yang tinggi juga. Indonesia menempati urutan negara ke 5 estimasi persalinan preterm tertinggi di dunia. Beberapa faktor yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap persalinan preterm yaitu idiopatik, iatrogenik, sosio-demografi, maternal dan genetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara usia ibu, pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu dan riwayat persalinan preterm terhadap kejadian persalinan prterm di RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Metode: Metode penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancang bangun case control. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 1311 orang pada periode 1 Januari - 31 Desember 2018. Sampel dibagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kasus (ibu yang bersalin preterm) dan kelompok kontrol (ibu yang bersalin tidak preterm) sebanyak masing-masing kelompok 137 orang yang disesuaikan dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simpel random sampling. Variabel independen terdiri dari usia ibu, pendidikan, pekerjaan dan riwayat persalinan preterm sedangkan variabel dependen adalah persalinan preterm. Analisis data bivariat menggunankan uji Chi-Square test dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 (95% CI). Hasil: Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara usia ibu bersalin (nilai p = 0,259), pendidikan  (nilai p = 1), pekerjaan (nilai p = 0,225) dan riwayat persalinan preterm (nilai p = 0,191) dengan kejadian persalinan preterm. Kesimpulan: Faktor risiko seperti usa ibu bersalin, pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu dan riwayat persalinan preterm tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap kejadian persalinan preterm. Abtract Background : Globally, preterm labor is the main cause of neonatal mortality in the first 0-7 days of life with a high impact of morbidity. Indonesia ranks 5th in the highest estimate of preterm labor in the world. Several factors that can influence preterm labor are idiopathic, iatrogenic, socio-demographic, maternal and genetic. This study aims to look at the relationship between maternal age, maternal education, maternal occupation and a history of preterm labor against the incidence of prenatal labor in RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Method : The method of this study is observational analytic with a case-control design. The total population is 1311 people in the period January 1 - December 31, 2018. Samples were divided into two groups, namely the case group (preterm maternity) and the control group (mothers who were not preterm) as many as 137 groups each according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion and based on sampling techniques, namely simple random sampling. Independent variables consisted of maternal age, education, occupation and a history of preterm labor while the dependent variable was preterm labor. Bivariate data analysis used the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05 (95% CI). Results : The Chi-Square test results showed that there was no significant relationship between maternal age (p = 0.259), education (p = 1), employment (p = 0.225) and preterm labor history (p = 0.191) with the incidence of preterm labor. Conclusion: Risk factors such as maternal age, maternal education, maternal occupation and a history of preterm labor have no relationship to the incidence of preterm labor.
