The present study aims to measure levels of test anxiety among students studying at different departments at School of Physical Education and Sports. The population of the study consists of 780 students studying at different departments at School of Physical Education and Sports at Yozgat Bozok University during 2018–2019 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 382 students who study at different departments at School of Physical Education and Sports at Yozgat Bozok University during 2018–2019 academic year and voluntarily participated in the online survey sent them by e-mail. Survey was used as a method in the present study, and demographic variables were obtained using “personal information form”. “Westside test anxiety scale”, which was adapted to Turkish context and tested for reliability and validity by Totan and Yavuz (2009), was used to determine students’ level of test anxiety. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 18 software program. Frequency analysis, percentage analysis, arithmetic means, t test and ANOVA analysis were used for data analysis. The analyses demonsrate that no statistically significant differences were observed among students’ levels of test anxiety in terms of four different variables (p>0.05). However, as for mean scores, it was found out that female students’ level of test anxiety was higher compared to male students. Students studying coaching education had a higher of test anxiety compared to those studying physical education and sports teaching and sports management. In addition, students who did not take notes during lessons had a higher level of test anxiety compared to those who took notes during lessons. Finally, students who reviewed lessons shortly before the test had a higher level of test anxiety compared to those who reviewed their lessons on a daily basis.

The present study aims to determine special curiosity in sports among students who study at different university departments. The population of the study consists of students studying at different departments at Yozgat Bozok University during 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 397 students who study at different departments at Yozgat Bozok University during 2018-2019 academic year and voluntarily participated in the online survey sent them by e-mail. Survey was used as a data collection method in the study. Students’ demographic features were obtained using a “personal information form”. In order to identify students’ specific curiosity in sports, “Sport Fan Specific Curiosity Scale” adapted to Turkish context and tested for reliability and validity by Korur and Dever (2018) was used. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 18 software program. Frequency analysis, percentage analysis, arithmetic means, t test and ANOVA were used for data analysis. The findings of the analysis demonstrate that statistically significant differences were found among students’ levels of specific curiosity in sports in terms of their gender, department, family participation in sports and monthly expenses (p<0.05). On the other hand, no statistically significant differences were observed among students in terms of place of residence and family level of income (p>0.05).

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and cognitive flexibility levels of physical education and sports teacher candidates. The universe of the study consisted of 480 teacher candidates studying in the physical education and sports teaching departments of the sports sciences faculties within Selçuk, Erciyes, Süleyman Demirel and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Universities, and the sample group consisted of 192 volunteers from the specified population. Participants in the study were asked to fill in a personal information form, academic self-efficacy and cognitive flexibility scales. IBM SPSS 22.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) statistical package program was used to analyze the data. Arithmetic means and standard deviations of the scores of the volunteers from the scales were presented as X±Sd. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis was applied to reveal the relationship of the data obtained from the scales. The value of p<0,05 was considered significant. As a result, it was determined that the academic self-efficacy and cognitive flexibility levels of physical education and sports teacher candidates were above average. A moderate positive correlation was found between academic self-efficacy and alternatives and control subtitles of cognitive flexibility and total of cognitive flexibility. It is thought that this situation is due to the ability of physical education and sports teacher candidates to transfer their experiences in sports life to their education life.

The aim of this research is to determine the physical activity levels of physical education and sports school students and to examine the physical activity levels according to some demographic characteristics. The objective of the research is composed of 480 students who are studying different programs in Bozok University Physical Education and Sports School in 2017-2018 academic year. The sample of the research is composed of 300 students’ determined random sampling method among the students studying in Bozok University Physical Education and Sports School in 2017-2018 academic year. Demographic information about the students in the survey was obtained with the personal information form and information about the level of participation in physical activity by the International Physical Activity Scale (Short form). Frequency, percentage, cross tables, Chi-Square and ANOVA tests were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the analyzes; statistically significant differences were found between physical activity levels according to gender, body mass index, education department, sports branch and cigarette use variables (p<.05).

The aim of this study is to examine sports commitment levels of the students studying in the school of physical education and sports. The universe of the research consists of students studying in different programs at the School of Physical Education and Sports at Yozgat Bozok University in the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample of the research consists of 360 students determined by using the sampling technique among the students studying in different programs at the School of Physical Education and Sports at Yozgat Bozok University. As a data collection tool in the research, information on the demographic characteristics of the participants was obtained through the "Personal Information Form". The data for determining the level of loyalty of the participants were obtained through the "Sports Commitment Scale", which was adapted to Turkish by Sırgancı, Ilgar and Cihan (2019) developed by Schaufeli and Bakker (2004). Normality analyzes were carried out before starting the analysis of the data. In statistical analysis, frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, t-test, ANOVA analysis and multiple comparison tests were used. As a result of the analyzes carried out; There were statistically significant differences between levels of the sports commitment according to the variables of the class, the year of sports and doing active sports under license (p < .05). 1st and 2nd Those who study in the classroom have a higher level of commitment to sports than those in grade 3, those who have 7 years or more to do sports for 1 year or less, and those who still do not do sports under license. According to gender, department and sports branch variables, no statistically significant differences were found between sports commitment levels (p > .05).

<p>The population of this research was the students of Sakarya University, School of Physical Education and Sports. The sample was 227 students, who were chosen by simple random sampling method, from the departments of Physical Education and Sports, Sport Management and Recreation in the academic year of 2009-2010. The ACL personality test and a personal information form were used as the data collection tool. Validity and reliability study of ACL was made by Savran (2006). In this process, ACL and the personal information form were applied to participants twice providing two weeks between the applications. The scores of ACL was analyzed to check whether there are significant differences according to the independent variables. Independent sample t-test is used when there are two categories in the independent variables. In this research,  there were some significant variables at level of .05. Results showed that the participants’ personality traits significantly differ according to their perception of the social status of the profession, working in this profession in future, gender and dominant personality traits.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Özet</strong></p><p>Bu araştırmanın evrenini, Sakarya Üniversitesi’nde Beden Eğitimi ve Spor eğitimi alan öğrenciler; örneklemini ise Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği, Spor Yöneticiliği Bölümü ve Rekreasyon Bölümü’nde 2009-2010 eğitim ve öğretim yılında öğrenimine devam etmekte olan ve tesadüfen seçilen gönüllü 227 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı Savran (2006) tarafından Türkiye için geçerlik, güvenirlik ve norm çalışması yapılan Sıfat Listesi (ACL) Kişilik Testi’dir. Ayrıca araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulama sürecinde, Beden Eğitimi adaylarına önce Sıfat Listesi (ACL) Kişilik Testi iki hafta ara ile iki kez uygulanmış ve kendilerini bu sıfatlara göre derecelendirmeleri istenmiştir. Bu liste ile birlikte Kişisel Bilgi Formu ’nu da kendilerine göre doldurmaları istenmiştir. Anket ile toplanan bağımsız değişkenlere göre ACL Ölçeğinin alt boyut puanlarının farklılıklarını belirlemek üzere hipotez testleri yapılmıştır. Bağımsız değişkenlerin iki kategoriden oluştuğu hipotez testi olarak ilişkisiz grup “t” testi kullanılmıştır. Beden Eğitimi ve spor bölümünde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin kişilik özellikleri; mesleklerinin toplumsal statüsünü algılama değişkenine, gelecekte bu alanda çalışma değişkenine, cinsiyet değişkenine göre, öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin sahip oldukları baskın kişilik özelliklerine göre istatistiksel açıdan en az .05 düzeyinde anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.</p>

The aim of this study is to examine relationship between the physical education course sportspersonship behaviors and respect levels for high school students. The sample of study consists of randomly selected 505 high school students (215 female and 290 male) attending state schools in the province of İstanbul in 2016-2017 academic year. “Physical Education Course Sportspersonship Behavior Scale”, “Respect Scale” and personal information form created by the researcher were used in the study. It was found that the scales was valid and reliable and could be used for high school students. Sportsmanship behaviors significantly differed according to the gender of the students (in favor of the girls), the grade (in favor of 10th grade), school success (in favor of good level) and the type of sports most interested (in favor of physically noncontact sports). It was understood that the scale scores of the students are not significantly different according to the family economic conditions. It was found that physical education course sportspersonship behaviors (Realization of Positive Behavior, Avoidance from Negative Behavior) are significantly related to respect levels (Cosmopolitanism, Communitarianism) positively. And it was seen that the level of respect was a significant predictor of the sportsmanship of the students. It is believed that the implementation of activities aimed at improving the level of respect in schools will be helpful in improving sportsmanship behaviors.

The current study aimed at identifying the level of the fear of Novel Coronavirus (covid-19) among the students of the Hashemite University in Jordan, in the light of the following variables: faculty, academic year, sex, religion, residence, social status, birth order, family income, chronic diseases and Facebook account on a sample of 852 male and female students. As for the study tool, the researcher used the scale of fear of Corona based on the statistical analysis of the arithmetic means and standard deviations, as well as (ANOVA- Analysis of Corona. The study came to some results, prominent among which were: the existence of moderate fear of Corona. According to the demographic variables, there were differences of statical significance among the students in the fear of Corona in the light of two variables only: suffering from chronic diseases, and the family income standard. As for the rest of the variables, they had no effect in the differences among students regarding the fear of Corona. Based upon these results, the current study will be a qualitative addition to the current scientific research about the Corona Pandemic, particularly, in the study of the psychological implications of the impact of the Corona Virus on the people of the world.   Received: 26 October 2020 / Accepted: 8 February 2021 / Published: 5 March 2021

The aim of this study is to determine the extent at which students' computational thinking (CT) skills are explained by certain variables. To this end, the existence of explanatory and predictive relationships between students’ CT skills and the variables in question has been examined and Structural Equation Model was employed for building a model in order to establish whether the variables predict students' CT skills or not. A correlational survey method was used in this research and the data collection tools of “Personal Information Form”, “Computational Thinking Skills Scale” and “Thinking Ways Scale” were administered to 405 students who were studying in 5th-12th grades in the 2018-2019 academic year in various schools in the Province of Edirne, Turkey. According to the research results, it was determined that CT skill was predicted by different ways of thinking; as well as other variables such as academic achievement in math, science and Information Technology (IT) courses, IT usage experience and level of education.

It is important to determine the attitudes of physical education teacher candidates who will carry out physicaleducation courses in secondary and high schools and classroom teacher candidates who will carry out physicaleducation courses in primary schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of physical educationand classroom teacher candidates towards teaching profession. The research was evaluated with a general surveymodel. The research group consisted of totally 280 teacher candidates; 168 of them study at School of PhysicalEducation and Sports in Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department, 122 of them study at the Faculty ofEducation Primary School Teaching Department in the 2017-2018 academic year Hatay Mustafa Kemal Universityin Turkey. As data collection tools Personal Information Form developed by the researchers and the “Attitude ScaleToward Teaching (ASTT)” developed by Erkus (2000) et al. were used. In the statistical analysis of the data, t-testand one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used. In the result of the research, it was determined that theattitudes of physical education and classroom teacher candidates towards teaching profession were high, but it wasfound that physical education teacher candidates had higher attitudes than classroom teacher candidates.

The aim of this research is to determine the reasons of social media usage of students studying in school of physical education and sport. The universe of the research was created 750 students from Yozgat Bozok University School of Physical Education and Sports. The sample of the study consisted of 283 students who were studying at different departments of Physical Education and Sport Department of Yozgat Bozok University in 2018-2019 academic year. Survey method was used in the study. Information on the demographic characteristics of the students was obtained by ‘personal information form. Information about determining the reasons of social media usage for students, Cemrek et al. (2014) developed by the usage of social media scale was obtained. The data were transferred to SPSS 18 software program for statistical operations. Frequency analysis, percentage analysis, arithmetic mean, t test, Anova analysis and post hoc tests were used to analyze the data.As a result of the analyzes performed; Statistically significant differences were found among the reasons of social media usage according to the education department, the purpose of using the internet, the most followed social media tool and the time variables spent on social media during the day (p<.05). There were no statistically significant differences according to gender variable (p>.05).
