This study is an applied research and from the logic implementation is descriptive survey study and the relationship between variables is correlation. In this study, data collection is by using library and field method, according to research hypotheses simple two-variable linear regression model was used. In this study, panel data is used to estimate and analyze quantitative and analytical and descriptive models by using Spss software. Among 3,000 delegates, managers and employees eight banks listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange using cluster sampling of 300 randomly selected as a population, and has been done during the period 2014-2015.The results of Pearson correlation coefficient between the variables of new services banking and e-commerce and profitability is equal to (0.144), which indicates that new services bank has positive impact significant on the Tehran Stock Exchange in order to fulfill ecommerce and profitability of listed banks, which means that a variety of modern banking services and increasing their use not only further caused the fulfill of e-commerce, but also increased the profitability of banks and has a direct impact on the profitability of them.

This quantitative study involved 510 students from four polytechnics as respondents. Study data were obtained through a questionnaire adapted from the Metacognitive Awareness Instrument (MAI). Student achievement is measured through the results of their Average Gathering of Points (HPNM) which is converted to a five-point scale. Study data were analyzed using SPSS software version 21. Descriptive analysis (mean and standard deviation) and inferential analysis of parametric statistical tests (Pearson correlation and multiple regression) were performed to answer the research questions and hypotheses. The findings of the study shows that there is a significant relationship and influence between metacognitive awareness variables on the achievement of polytechnic students in Business Mathematics. Suggestions for improvement and further study have been given as a continuation of this study. Metacognitive awareness can improve student achievement. Metacognitive awareness plays an important role in helping students stayed focus in their learning process and be a good problem solver.

Research instruments includedthe Spiritual ExperienceScale for Studentsdeveloped byGhobari-Bonab,Kobasas Hardiness Questionnaire and the Expanded Nursing Stress Scale (ENSS). The content validity was checked and the reliability of these three questionnaires was estimated using the Cronbach's alpha coefficients. This coefficient for these three questionnaires was 0.75, 0.76, and 0.85 respectively. The Pearson correlation, stepwise regression, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVAwere used to analyze the obtained data. Results revealed that there was a negative significant relationshipamong spiritual experiences, hardiness and occupational stress. Moreover,no significant relationship was found between organizational commitment and occupationalstress. However, it was revealed that there was a negative significant relationship between occupationalstress, control, and challenge. The findings alsoindicated thatamong the predictor variables of nurses stress, in the first step thetranscendent experiences,in the second step prosperity,in the third step belief in God, in the fourth step negative experiences, and in the fifth step finding meaning in lifeenteredthe predictionmodel.

Three different scales were used on 626 adolescents in total who lived in Sivas, found by random sampling method. The first scale is “the Personal Information Scale” consisting of 6 items to determine the demographical characteristics of the participants; the second scale is “the Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire (CBPA)”, which was developed by Schembre et al. (2015) and was adapted to Turkish by Eskiler et al. (2016) to determine the participants’ attitudes towards physical activity; and the last scale is “the Self-Esteem Scale” by Rosenberg (1965) and adapted to Turkish by Çuhadaroğlu (1985) to determine the levels of self-esteem of the participants. The study data was analyzed by SPSS 25 package software. The obtained data were represented as values of frequency (f), percentage (%), average (x-), and standard deviation (±). Pearson Correlation analysis was applied in order to determine the effect of physical activity attitudes on self-esteem. The age average of the participants was determined to be 16,28 (±0,97). The gender distribution was 312 females and 314 males, and the number of those who were participating in licensed sports was 336, and that of those who were not was 290. It was determined that there was a positive correlation between the participants’ attitude towards physical activity and their self-esteem. Inspired by the studies on the impact of diversity among decision-making groups, this study was carried out to examine whether the diversity of the members of the board of directors, encompassing gender, nationality, education, and experience, moderates the relationship between the corporate governance and investment decisions of listed companies of the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Furthermore, the determinants of investment decisions in the context of Pakistani firms’ are also explored. Panel data analysis techniques are used to gauge the cause and effect relationship among the variables. We find short-term liquidity and profitability are the determinants of Pakistani firms’ investment decisions, both having adverse relationships. Moreover, we explore board independence, and chief executive officer (CEO) duality has a significant positive impact on investment decisions. We further find that experience diversity strongly moderates the relationship between board independence and board size with investment decisions in the opposite direction. Education diversity moderates the relation of board size and investment decisions in the same direction. Foreign directors’ presence on the board also significantly moderates the relationship between board independence and investment decisions. The results of this empirical study confirm that board diversity moderates the relationship between corporate governance and investment decisions.
