In view of cross-national student mobility and increasing internationalization of the labor market, a common understanding of economic concepts as well as awareness for country-specific factors influencing economics education is essential. Therefore, the development of instruments that allow for comparable investigation across countries is crucial. The present study describes economic education in Japan and Germany and explores the specific conditions for access to higher education in each country. On this basis, we examine the level of economic literacy (using TEL-IV) at the beginning of higher education among 232 German and 198 Japanese students of Business & Economics and the impact of personal influencing factors thereon. Overall, comparable entry levels can be observed, whereby each student group shows different response patterns. Predicting economic literacy, primarily gender and interest reach significance. A final outlook regarding the significance of cross-national studies is given, taking limitations and implications of this study into account.

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic boarding schools in the application of economicliteracy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research isDarussalam Gontor University. The results of this study indicate that Islamic boarding schools inimplementing economic literacy carry out several functions; 1) as an educational institution thatchanges the economic orientation of the community which was originally intended to satisfy wants,to become "sufficient" by meeting needs, 2) as an educational institution that changes a consumptivelifestyle into a moderate lifestyle, 3) as an educational institution that frames human economicactivities in the framework of ta'abbudi (worship) which was originally limited to the framework ofmeeting physical needs, 4) as an educational institution that changes its profit and utility orientation,to an orientation to maximize maslahah, 5) as an educational institution that applies forced learningmethods, and finally could be because they are used to it, 6) as an educational institution that applieseconomic literacy not limited to academic aspects, but non-academic aspects

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa universitas pesantren dalam pelaksanaan literasi ekonomi menjalankan beberapa fungsi; 1) sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mengubah orientasi ekonomi masyarakat yang semula dimaksudkan untuk memuaskan keinginan, menjadi "cukup" dengan memenuhi kebutuhan, 2) sebagai institusi pendidikan yang mengubah gaya hidup konsumtif menjadi gaya hidup moderat, 3) sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang membingkai kegiatan ekonomi manusia modern dalam kerangka ta'abbudi (ibadah) yang semula terbatas pada kerangka pemenuhan kebutuhan fisik, 4) sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mengubah orientasi berorientasi keuntungan dan utilitas, menjadi orientasi memaksimalkan maslahah, 5) sebagai institusi pendidikan yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran secara paksa, dan akhirnya bisa karena mereka sudah terbiasa, 6) sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan literasi ekonomi tidak terbatas pada aspek akademik, tetapi aspek non-akademik.

The development of information technology encourages the emergence of various online transaction activities, one of which is online trading transactions through the marketplace. Currently, Indonesia has the largest Muslim population, which is 87% of the total population who also takes part in buying and selling activities and online transactions. Muslim awareness and interest in halal products is increasing, but there is a need of understanding regarding transactions according to Sharia. The purpose of this study: to analyse the potential and challenges of the halal marketplace in Indonesia using a literature study research method. The results of this study indicate that in Indonesia the halal marketplace has a large market potential and is an innovation in the development of the existing marketplace. Besides this potential, the halal marketplace also has challenges in its development, including the low level of Islamic economic literacy among the public, low inclusion of Islamic finance, and the lack of utilization of the halal marketplace platform by halal MSMEs. It is hoped that these potentials and challenges can become views in determining and developing policies.

Abstract Research has been carried out on the effect of economic literacy and financial literacy on attitudes about hedonic lifestyles. This study aims to determine whether there is a partial or simultaneous influence of economic literacy and financial literacy on attitudes about hedonic lifestyles. This study uses a quantitative research method that is explanatory by explaining the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed that there was no significant and significant effect between economic literacy and financial literacy on attitudes about life partially, but there was a significant and significant effect of economic literacy and financial literacy on attitudes about hedonic lifestyles simultaneously. Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh literasi ekonomi dan literasi keuangan terhadap sikap tentang gaya hidup hedonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh secara parsial maupun simultan literasi ekonomi dan literasi keuangan terhadap sikap tentang gaya hidup hedonis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat eksplanasi dengan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh dan signifikan antara literasi ekonomi dan literasi keuangan terhadap sikap tentang gaya hidup secara parsial, namun terdapat pengaruh dan signifikan literasi ekonomi dan literasi keuangan terhadap sikap tentang gaya hidup hedonis secara simultan.

Abstract Impulsive buying behavior is buying behavior based on sudden desire without any consideration or planning. This research aims to determine the effect of price perception, self-control, and economic literacy on the impulsive buying behaviour of the students of S1 Economic Education, State University of Malang in academic 2017. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The results showed that: (1) there was a negative and significant effect of perceived price on the impulsive buying behavior of clothing products with an effective contribution of 25.65%. (2) There was a negative and significant effect of self-control on impulsive buying behavior for clothing products with an effective contribution of 23.34%. (3) There was a negative and significant effect of economic literacy on impulsive buying behavior for clothing products with an effective contribution of 12.57%. Abstrak Perilaku pembelian impulsif adalah perilaku pembelian yang terjadi karena didasari keinginan secara tiba-tiba tanpa suatu pertimbangan atau perencanaan sebelumnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi harga, kontrol diri, dan literasi ekonomi terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif produk baju mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Malang angkatan 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan persepsi harga terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif produk baju dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 25,65%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif produk baju dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 23,34%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan literasi ekonomi terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif produk baju dengan sumbangan efektif 12,57%.

Abstract This study aims to determine the effects of economic literacy, interest in learning, and lifestyle on pocket money management of students IPS 11th grade in SMA Negeri 1 Karangrejo. The type of study is a descriptive quantitative. The amount of population in this study is 171 students. The sample used is 120 students by using proportional random sampling. Data collection methods are tests and questionnaires distributed online. The results showed that students had a level of economic literacy in the sufficient category, high interest in learning, lifestyle in the high category, and pocket money management which is classified as high. The results also indicate that the variable of economic literacy has no significant effect on the management of student’s pocket money, while the variables of learning interest and lifestyle have a significant effect on the management of student’s pocket money. In this study, it was found that students need to improve economic literacy to find out the basis for making good economic decisions in everyday life. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi ekonomi, minat belajar, dan gaya hidup terhadap manajemen uang saku siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Karangrejo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 171 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 120 siswa dengan menggunakan proportional random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah tes dan kuesioner yang disebar secara online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki tingkat literasi ekonomi dalam kategori cukup, minat belajar yang tergolong tinggi, gaya hidup dalam kategori tinggi, dan manajemen uang saku yang tergolong tinggi. Hasil penelitian juga mengindikasikan bahwa variabel literasi ekonomi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap manajemen uang saku siswa, sedangkan variabel minat belajar dan gaya hidup berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap manajemen uang saku siswa. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa siswa perlu meningkatkan literasi ekonomi untuk mengetahui dasar pengambilan keputusan ekonomi yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract This study aims to measure and analyze the effect of peer information intensity, economic literacy, and self-control on impulsive buying at GenBI State University of Malang for the period 2020-2021. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative methods. The data is obtained by distributing the instruments located on the Google Form link by calling the respondent's Whatsapp number. Based on the research results, it was decided that the three independent variables have an effect on impulsive buying. Peer information intensity is the most dominant in influencing impulsive buying. The third variation of the independent variables can explain impulsive buying by 59.3 percent. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis pengaruh intensitas informasi teman sebaya, literasi ekonomi, dan kontrol diri terhadap pembelian impulsif pada GenBI Universitas Negeri Malang periode 2020-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan instrumen yang terletak pada link Google Form dengan menghubungi nomor Whatsapp responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diputuskan bahwa ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap pembelian impulsif. Intensitas informasi teman sebaya paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif. Variasi ketiga variabel bebas dapat menjelaskan pembelian impulsif sebesar 59,3 persen.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This research aims to decribe the economic literacy prosess of SME Cuinary Market businesses and the implications for the walfare of businesses. This research was conducted because there are differences in the category of business, smal business, medium business and large business. This study uses a qualitative approach with this type phenomenlogical study research. The results of this study show small businesses have not run the economic literacy process properly so that the welfare of business has not been obtained, medium business start to run economic literacy well so that the welfare of business and workers begins to be obtained and large businesses have run the economic literacy process properly so that the welfare of businesses and workers has been obtained.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses literasi ekonomi pelaku usaha UKM <em>Culinary Market </em>dan implikasi literasi ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan pelaku usaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat perbedaan katergori pelaku usaha, pelaku usaha besar, pelaku usaha menengah dan pelaku usaha besar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaku usaha kecil belum menjalankan proses literasi ekonomi dengan baik sehingga kesejahteraan pelaku usaha belum didapatkan. Pelaku usaha menengah mulai menjalankan literasi ekonomi dengan baik sehingga kesejahteraan pelaku usaha dan pekerja mulai didapatkan dan pelaku usaha besar telah menjalankan proses literasi ekonomi dengan baik sehingga kesejahteraan pelaku usaha dan pekerjanya telah didapatkan.
