The principal objective of this article is to develop new formulas of the so-called Chebyshev polynomials of the fifth-kind. Some fundamental properties and relations concerned with these polynomials are proposed. New moments formulas of these polynomials are obtained. Linearization formulas for these polynomials are derived using the moments formulas. Connection problems between the fifth-kind Chebyshev polynomials and some other orthogonal polynomials are explicitly solved. The linking coefficients are given in forms involving certain generalized hypergeometric functions. As special cases, the connection formulas between Chebyshev polynomials of the fifth-kind and the well-known four kinds of Chebyshev polynomials are shown. The linking coefficients are all free of hypergeometric functions.

Social networks provide new spaces in which to explore one’s identity and how it is presented to others. To do so, it is essential to study how they affect the construction of one’s self-concept and perceived affection in adolescence. The principal objective of this study was to analyse the congruence or incongruence of self-concept within (online) and outside (offline) the social networks and their relation to affect. The participants were 350 adolescents (41% males), between 14 and 19 years of age. They completed the AF-5 to evaluate self-concept and the PANANS to evaluate affect states or personal emotions. Both questionnaires were completed twice, taking into account online and offline situations. We found differences in all the dimensions of self-concept in 24% of the participants, and only in the social dimension in 51.4% of the participants. The participants who showed differences between their online and offline self-concept obtained higher scores in wellbeing in comparison to those who maintained similar self-concept. Social media allow adolescents to experiment with a different self-concept which influences their affect.

The principal objective of this article is to introduce the idea of a new class of n-polynomial convex functions which we call n-polynomial s-type m-preinvex function. We establish a new variant of the well-known Hermite–Hadamard inequality in the mode of the newly introduced concept. To add more insight into the newly introduced concept, we have discussed some algebraic properties and examples as well. Besides, we discuss a few new exceptional cases for the derived results, which make us realize that the results of this paper are the speculations and expansions of some recently known outcomes. The immeasurable concepts and chasmic tools of this paper may invigorate and revitalize additional research in this mesmerizing and absorbing field.

Abstract The principal objective of the article is the determination of the main features of the aeolian relief formation of the Suvinskii Kuitun sand massif, one of the regions of active modern aeolian morphogenesis in the Barguzinskaya Depression. A brief description of the morphology of the aeolian relief, characterized by the predominance of deflationary forms over accumulative ones, is given. Among the forms of active deflation, deflation basins dominate here, separated by elongated deflation inselbergs, composed of sands of lacustrine, alluvial, deluvial-proluvial, and aeolian genesis. The mineralogical and granulometric composition of sandy deposits in the southern part of the Suvinskii Kuitun, characterized by poor roundness of sandy grains, has been analysed. A distinct northeastward eolomotion was revealed towards the foothills of the Ikat Range and its accumulation there. The age of the aeolian sands, mainly related to the formation of the Tagar culture (the end of the Bronze Age) was determined. The phytomelioration carried out in the second half of the 20th century led only to a partial fixation of sands, without affecting their overall deflation in most areas of the Suvinskii Kuitun.

The principal objective of this qualitative research was to determine the effectiveness of using Total Physical  Response  (TPR) to develop speaking skill in beginner’s learners in a rural school. This study was applied using action research method, which  involved  observation,  planning and implementation. The process was carried out in five-week classes during the term November 2019-January 2020 with 26 students from 7th grade at “Belisario Quevedo” Rural School. The instruments used were structured and unstructured checklist and teacher`s diary. The results showed TPR is effective to develop speaking skill in EFL beginners. Students could use English to communicate with their partners and the teacher using basic vocabulary, correct pronunciation and some fluency after applying the method. As a conclusion, Total Physical Response helped beginners to get familiar with the language and learn English with the use of movements, mimics and gestures, making students produce English to communicate.

This research is an extension of Nouraldeen (2020). The principal objective of this project is to investigate the English translation of complete taḍmīn in the Qur’an and shed light on other types of taḍmīn in the Qur’an. ِAlthough complete taḍmīn is probably not as numerous as other types of taḍmīn in the Qur’an, it deserves much attention for the interesting additional meaning it provides. Two sources are used to collect the āyāt (verses) that involve complete taḍmīn. Four English translations of the second sūrah (chapter) produced by Arab translators are analysed and assessed with a suggested translation that is believed to improve the current translations. None of the four translations are aware of taḍmīn when translating the Qur’an and this suggests a further empirical study which to elicit the views of some Qur’an translators with regards to why taḍmīn is not given attention and how it can be rendered. One unexpected finding is that some Qur’an translations are not consistent when translating same words in different āyāt (verses). This study is intended to be part of an ongoing work which studies and assesses the English translation of all āyāt (verses) that include complete taḍmīn as they appear in the same arrangement of the suwar (chapters) in the Qur’an.

Gear is one of the most omnipresent components in the mechanical and industrial fields. Some defects can occur causing a change in the vibration signature. In the dynamic of gears system, several sources of excitation are considered. The principal objective of the present work is to study the use of the Reassigned Smoothed Pseudo Wigner Ville Distribution (RSPWVD) in the gear vibration monitoring. The used signals are obtained by the simulation of an eight degrees of freedom gearbox system for the healthy and cracked case. The considered model takes into account the presence of friction force inter teeth in contact, backlash and time varying mesh stiffness. Also, the presence of noise is highlighted. A comparison with the Smoothed Pseudo Wigner Ville Distribution (SPWVD) is done.

The definition of requested requirements by the companies represents one of the key aspects for the entrance of new professional figures. In particular, focusing the attention on food & beverage sector, in this study two job profiles are considered: pastry chef e pastry assistant. Data for this analysis are collected by The AdeccoGroup in Italy in 2016 and 2017. The personal competencies to make capable to face the growing flexibility of the profession are object of specified request cross-sectional to more economic sectors. After a brief description of the database content, the principal objective of the research is to report the most requested requirements for the companies. Other analysis are provided to show possible relationships among these requirements and the previous experience owned by candidates. Finally, a comparison is presented about the competencies requested by the two job figures using descriptive statistics and classification techniques.

The main result is the proof of the theorems, the results of which one can characterize as a weak form of the formula for the inversion of the bi-dimmensional Fourier transform. Sufficient conditions on a function are obtained for a weak (of degree $r$) convergence of bi-dimmensional Fourier transform for a function $f(x;y)$. These conditions have an integral form and describe the behavior of the function near the border of a rectangle. A similar theorem is proved, in which the Fourier transform of a function $f$ is replaced by the Fourier transform of another function $g$, the norm of the central difference of which does not exceed the norm of the central difference of $f$. The principal objective is to study the behavior of the Fourier transform of $g$ and $f$.

The principal objective of this project is to investigate the gravitational lensing by asymptotically flat black holes in the framework of Horndeski theory in weak field limits. To achieve this objective, we utilize the Gauss–Bonnet theorem to the optical geometry of asymptotically flat black holes and apply the Gibbons–Werner technique to achieve the deflection angle of photons in weak field limits. Subsequently, we manifest the influence of plasma medium on deflection of photons by asymptotically flat black holes in the context of Horndeski theory. We also examine the graphical impact of deflection angle on asymptotically flat black holes in the background of Horndeski theory in plasma medium as well as non-plasma medium.
