This article is devoted to the study of the current topic - the importance of digital etiquette as an employee competence. The percentage of modern employee's communications in the online space is increasing, more and more work issues are solved using computer technology and electronic systems. This trend requires the development of a new digital culture of communication, which includes the rules that are necessary to build clear business relationships. In order to form a relevant, understandable and succinct set of recommendations, it is required to assess the current level of knowledge of digital etiquette. To do this, a survey was compiled that included questions defining human behavior in various situations that may arise during online business communications. Based on the survey with 120 respondents, recommendations on business etiquette topics were developed.

AbstractWith the development of new technologies, some concepts become relevant in the economic area, as is the case with cryptocurrencies, in general, or Bitcoin and Ethereum, in particular. Due to the impact of these tools, a detailed bibliometric study that allows us to obtain all information about cryptocurrencies must be conducted. This study will help scientific production by specifying the development and lines of related research that have been followed and are currently being followed. We have used Tableau, R (Bibliometrix R Package), and VOSviewer software to analyze the information. These have been combined to create and review unified metadata from the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases. The bibliometric analysis shows 771 articles on the WoS database and 648 articles on Scopus published between 2010 and early 2019. They present the most relevant articles, research areas, countries, institutions, authors, journals, and trends during the last few years. In conclusion, the number of publications has grown in the last 3 years. The analysis shows the evolution of blockchain technology used in this type of cryptocurrency. The review of this period marks a possible end to the historical part of cryptocurrencies, thereby opening the current topic to its multiple applications.

The article presents the use of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) method applied to historic buildings (HBIM). This is a very current topic with a direct link to the development of digital innovations. The HBIM approach presented in the article is primarily targeted at the owners/managers of historic buildings where its greatest expected benefit for this type of buildings is, in particular, in Facility Management. The key output of the article is the group of proposed parameters, which represents the requirements for the data on the part of both the facility manager, and the public authorities collecting selected information about historic buildings. As an example, the proposed parameters were applied to the All Saints’ Church, where the “BIM technologies“ were used for the elaboration of the project documentation.

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has affected the daily life of the worldwide population since 2020. Links between the newly discovered viral infection and the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases have been investigated in different studies. This review aims to summarize the literature concerning COVID-19 and Parkinson’s disease (PD) to give an overview on the interface between viral infection and neurodegeneration with regard to this current topic. We will highlight SARS-CoV-2 neurotropism, neuropathology and the suspected pathophysiological links between the infection and neurodegeneration as well as the psychosocial impact of the pandemic on patients with PD. Some evidence discussed in this review suggests that the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic might be followed by a higher incidence of neurodegenerative diseases in the future. However, the data generated so far are not sufficient to confirm that COVID-19 can trigger or accelerate neurodegenerative diseases.

Abstract Modern sciences and Islam are oftentimes perceived (or presented) as irreconcilable or even as mutually exclusive poles. In attempting to re-establish the dialogue on the topic and to find contemporary approaches that might enable one to keep personal religious beliefs while also engaging with modern sciences, this article discusses the works of contemporary physicist Nidhal Guessoum. Guessoum not only critically examines current developments in the realm of science in the Muslim world, but also provides the reader with a solution to what seems to be a problem of colliding epistemologies: reconciling the two traditions. According to Guessoum, both traditions – although using different methods – work towards advancing knowledge and should thus both be upheld and progressed. To illustrate his approach to scientific methodology and thinking, the article also provides an analysis of Guessoum’s videos on COVID-19 and thereby addresses a current topic which clearly proves the need for reliable modern science.

Leadership is one of the functions of management, and unlike other management functions, it cannot be partially transferred to others, so leadership becomes the most important and real function of management. It is a ubiquitous and current topic because successful leadership is a skill that is present in different aspects of life and organizations, such as in a company, the state, in wars, or within the family. The art is to influence other people and relationships so that they are willing to achieve set goals. Leadership is an action, not a position that is automatically gained by a position in an organization. The phenomenon of leadership and successful leaders always capture the attention of not only the scientific but also the social public. Given the large number of studies conducted and studies written on the importance and the impact of leadership, numerous models, approaches, and leadership theories have been formed. The paper aims to shed some light on the research trends of leadership types in scientific literature. The Scopus database has been researched using the keywords “leadership type”, which resulted in 127 journal articles. A bibliographic analysis has been conducted with the focus on the timeline of publications, trends in leading authors, institutions, and countries, and the financing institutions analysis. Citation analysis has also been conducted with the focus on papers with the highest number of citations. Topics of the papers have been analyzed using the text mining analysis, which revealed a variety of management-related topics. This paper explores the subject matter of legal informatics. The life-long work of the first author concerning the visualization and coding of statutes is generalized. Besides positive law and customary law, the emergence of machine law is a current topic of focus in the literature. In machine law, legal acts are posited by machines and not by humans (primarily in a situational context). The transformation of a legal act to a legal document can happen in two ways. First, it is a transformation of the legal act into explicit punctuation, for example, for announcement in the case of laws or for written execution in the case of judgments, and, second, as a trend towards electronic documents. Legal theory forms a meta-level to the law and similarly legal informatics forms a meta-level to legal information. Legal informatics in Austria is based on the work of Ota Weinberger, Ilmar Tammelo and Leo Reisinger and has been developed by Erich Schweighofer in the framework of the IRIS conferences. Legal informatics is distinguished from legal information, whereas legal logic and meta-theories appear on top of legal informatics. In terms of syntax, machine culture is characterized by formal notations. Notations of legal logic are just the beginning; the target is a technical notation, a basis for programming. Visualizations are in the middle. On the one hand, visualizations serve to understand people by breaking away from the textual; on the other hand, by emphasizing the formal they form a bridge to machines. Legal text can be translated directly into formal languages, but visualizations can facilitate this task as an intermediate methodological step. Hans-Georg Fill’s metamodeling can be seen as a metameta-level.

The Product Sensitive Online Dirichlet Allocation model (PSOLDA) proposed in this paper mainly uses the sentiment polarity of topic words in the review text to improve the accuracy of topic evolution. First, we use Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) to obtain the distribution of topic words in the current time window. Second, the word2vec word vector is used as auxiliary information to determine the sentiment polarity and obtain the sentiment polarity distribution of the current topic. Finally, the sentiment polarity changes of the topics in the previous and next time window are mapped to the sentiment factors, and the distribution of topic words in the next time window is controlled through them. The experimental results show that the PSOLDA model decreases the probability distribution by 0.160 1, while Online Twitter LDA only increases by 0.069 9. The topic evolution method that integrates the sentimental information of topic words proposed in this paper is better than the traditional model.

Headache in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic is a current topic, being divided into pre-infection headache, headache attributed to COVID-19 infection and post-COVID-19 headaches. The aim of the research was to analyze the peculiarities of the evolution and treatment of headache during the COVID-19 pandemic in the cohort of patients from the Republic of Moldova. The study was an online survey. People with COVID-19 infection and headaches were asked to complete a structured, validated and approved questionnaire, which included questions on: demographics, comorbidities, clinical signs of COVID-19 infection, headache before, during and after COVID-19 infection, screening for anxiety, depression and sleep disorders. The data collected for 3 months from the launch are presented (January - March 2021). The study showed that half (58.3%) of the respondents had different forms of headache before COVID-19 infection. During the infection period - 91% of the respondents had bouts of headache attributed to COVID-19, which were of high intensity, holocranial localization, being associated with such signs as vertigo, nausea, peripheral vegetative signs, pronounced asthenia (80%) and pain with another location (85.5%). Persistent headache after COVID-19 was reported by 62.7% of respondents, it being severe for 16.7% of them. Preliminary results show that headache during COVID-19 is prevalent and persists after COVID-19 causing disability and increased costs. Further studies are needed to validate these results.
