Sophora flavescens - Ligustrum lucidum has the effect of increasing the anti-cancer effect of white blood cells and treating liver fibrosis. In order to determine the optimal compatibility ratio of this drug pair, the rationality of the drug pairs in different proportions was revealed. In this experiment, three active ingredients of the Sophora flavescens-Fructus Ligustri lucidi were extracted by reflux extraction, which were matrine, oxymatrine and specnuezhenide. A method for simultaneously determining the content of matrine, oxymatrine and specnuezhenide in a short time by HPLC was established. The method is simple, precise, and stable. Reproducibility can be used to determine the content of three active ingredients of matrine, oxymatrineand specnuezhenide. The analysis results was indicated that the different proportions of compatibility and different extraction solvents have significant effects on the content of active ingredients and dissolution rate of Sophora flavescens- Fructus Ligustri lucidi, after the combination of Sophora flavescens- Fructus Ligustri lucidi in different proportions, the content of matrine, oxymatrine and specnuezhenide is greater than the content of the active ingredients of each single herb. When the ratio of compatibility of Sophora flavescens-Ligustrum Ligustri lucidi is <1:1, it is beneficial to the dissolution of the three active ingredients. By determining the optimal compatibility ratio of this drug pair, provided a theoretical basis for the study of late pharmacodynamics and provide theoretical basis for clinicalapplication of traditional Chinese medicine.

Chemistry is one of the most important courses in the system of pre-university training of prospective specialists with higher medical education. During the pandemic, we had to face some problems when organizing chemistry distance learning. There was a lack of data and opportunities for out-of-class interaction with students, since it was necessary to switch to the remote format in a very short time, literally within a few days. It was necessary to develop a model and methodological support to teach chemistry in the distant format and develop relevant professional competencies. The theoretical basis of the research is the theory of the planned development of mental actions and concepts and activities. Analyzing the results, we came to the conclusion that the implementation of this approach increased the motivation of university entrants to study chemistry. Methodological materials helped to improve the quality of training specifically for foreign entrants who did not know Russian well. The results of the final testing made it possible to conclude that the use of distance education or its elements in pre-university chemistry training is promising, necessary and expedient. All students in one way or another coped with the final certification and received certificates that allow them to continue their studies at a medical university.

Background. The traditional Chinese medicines Astragalus and Angelica are often combined to treat male infertility, but the specific therapeutic mechanism is not clear. Therefore, this study applies a network pharmacology approach to investigate the possible mechanism of action of the drug pair Astragalus-Angelica (PAA) in the treatment of male infertility. Methods. Relevant targets for PAA treatment of male infertility are obtained through databases. Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are constructed through STRING database and screen core targets, and an enrichment analysis is conducted through the Metascape platform. Finally, molecular docking experiments were carried out to evaluate the affinity between the target protein and the ligand of PAA. Results. The active ingredients of 112 PAA, 980 corresponding targets, and 374 effective targets of PAA for the treatment of male infertility were obtained, which are related to PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, HIF-1 signaling pathway, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, IL-17 signaling pathway, and thyroid hormone signaling pathway. Conclusion. In this study, using a network pharmacology method, we preliminarily analyzed the effective components and action targets of the PAA. We also explored the possible mechanism of action of PAA in treating male infertility. They also lay a foundation for expanding the clinical application of PAA and provide new ideas and directions for further research on the mechanisms of action of the PAA and its components for male infertility treatment.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of zinc in dose 15mg/kg.bw daily  taken by the mouth and dexamethasone 4mgIkg.Bw by injection for 30days on some hematological biochemical tests and some histological changes of liver spleen in male rabbits. Thirty rabbits were used that divided into 3 randomized groups (each group contain 10 male rabbits ). Control group was taken normal food and water, Zinc group that gave zinc at dose of 15mg/kg.BW/daily/oral on 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks. Dexamethasone with zinc group : Employ dexamethasone 4mg/Kg.Bw . I.M dialy for 1 and 2 weeks for experiment and at  3, 4th weeks they gave zn 15mg/lKg.Bw day/orally. Blood samples were taken from the heart directly in 2 and 4weeks to examine packed cell volume (pcv), white blood cells (WBCs), Red blood cells (RBCs) with differential Leuckcyte count.separation blood collection to plasma and examine glucose mg/dl , cholesterol mg/dl. In histological tests, rabbits were killed and separate their organs tissue from the body to examine liver and spleen. The results revealed  a decrease in level of RBCs, pcv after treatment with zinc 15, mg/Kg.Bw orally (zinc group) and increase in WBCs with differential leuckocyte count specially neutrophil cell, while biochemical tests show increase in glucose and cholesterol levels after treatment with dexamethasone 4mglkgBw. I/M seen increase in counts of RBCs , PCV, WBCs and differential lenkocyte count and decrease in glucose with cholesterol parameters, histological changes show change in liver after treatment by dexamethasone 4mglKg.Bw ,spleen tissue seen necrosis and pigmentation with hemorrhage after take dexamethasone 4mglkg in (dexamethasone + zinc group). Results also showed that zinc enhanced the immune system in at normal dose for limited time  because of its effect on other mineral such as copper and causes anemia , while the dexamethasone is a drug used for antianflammatory but for a short time.

Many machine and mechanism processes are accompanied by impacts with friction. They arise by short-time contacts between two or more bodies, and they generate energy losses mainly due to friction in tangential contact directions. During the last two decades a couple of impact models based on the theory of rigid body contact were established connected with the names of Moreau, Fremond and Glocker, which all work quite satifactorily with respect to practical applications, although some examples indicate deviations requiring more investigations with respect to the impact models and the type of examples considered. We shall focus on Glocker’s model, for which some experimental verifications are available by Beitelschmidt. A missing link are energy considerations, which are available, but nevertheless do not provide us with a complete information for all possible cases. The paper tries to fill a bit this gap by founding the investigations on a combined phenomenological and theoretical basis.

Aim of study to investigate the effect of certain natural products from medicinal plants as adjuvant systems to reduce toxicity of chemotherapy. cyclophosphamide (CTX) is anti-cancer DNA alkylating chemotherapeutic agent to act against a variety of tumors in head and neck, testicular, ovarian, bladder, small-cell lung cancers, this study performed to investigate the effect of Berberis vulgaris in combination with CTX on hematological and physiological parameters induced by CTX in mice. In this study we evaluate the possible protective effects of Berberis vulgaris on hematological and physiological parameters in mice chronically treated with CTX. Four groups of mice were examined: a control (I), mice treated with CTX (II), mice treated with CTX + Berberis vulgaris (III), and mice treated with Berberis vulgaris (IV). All animals were treated for successively 5 days and killed one week after the last treatment, The results show significant decreases in levels of red blood cell distribution width (RDW), white blood cells (WBCs), neutrophils and lymphocytes counts with increases in levels of monocytes. Also, hepatocytes oxidative stress which characterized by significant increases in the serum activities aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT). Berberis vulgaris combined with CTX or Berberis vulgaris alone successfully normalized the hematological and biochemical parameters in form returning (RDW), (WBCs), monocytes and lymphocytes count to normal level. Hepatocytes oxidative stress, which characterized by a significant decrease in the serum activities of (AST) and (ALT). Keywords: Cyclophosphamide; Berberis vulgaris; Lymphocytes; Hepatocytes; Significant
