The paper carries out the strategic analysis of innovative possibilities of Zaporizhzhia region’s industrial complex and investigates the indicators of innovative activity of industrial complexes of Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine by Harrington’s generalized desirability function. The evaluation results prove the “good” ability and readiness of the industrial complex of Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine to carry out effective innovation activities. However, according to the comparative assessment of the innovative activity of Zaporizhzhia region’s industrial complex and Ukraine’s one, Zaporizhzhia region’s industrial complex is found to lag 9.2% behind Ukraine’s. A cluster development strategy is suggested to improve the innovative development management of Zaporizhzhia region’s industrial complex.

The article analyzes the current state of production activities of the agricultural sector of Cherkasy region economy, its organizational and legal structures and identifies strategic directions for its development. It is proved that the priority solution of urgent problems, such as: redistribution of land and property; restructuring of enterprises and forms of management; development of cooperation; introduction of market management methods - management and marketing; state regulation of the agricultural economy, financial, credit and tax systems; development of markets for agricultural products, material and technical resources and services; intensification and diversification of foreign economic activity will contribute to the development of the agro-industrial sphere of Cherkasy region. It is determined that the years 2021-2027 should be considered the strategic period, during which the provision of the country's population with food at the level of scientifically sound standards, growth of export potential and reduction of imports should be achieved. The necessity of introduction of innovative activity and process of innovations introduction in the production activity of the agricultural enterprises which are a basis of economic growth is proved. Obstacles to the innovative development of the regional agricultural sector are analyzed. The priority directions of innovative development of agro-industrial enterprises are indicated. The need to develop an innovative policy of agricultural enterprises in order to increase the efficiency of their operation is determined. It is noted that the priority of the agro-industrial sector development of Cherkasy region and its leading industries will provide the population with food products, industry with raw materials, and foreign trade with the export goods. It is established that innovative activity in agricultural enterprises is a decisive factor in the effective development and increase of agricultural production, significant changes in its structure, reassessment of the motivation system that meet the current principles of the Cherkasy Region Development Strategy for 2021-2027, which determines key vectors of the region in the long-term.

The issue of intensification of innovative activity by enterprises is becoming one of the defining issues in modern conditions of their activity, especially if we take into account the ever-growing influence of Industry 4.0. today, it is industry 4.0 that determines the development trends for most enterprises that aim to increase their own competitive advantages and strengthen their positions in the world market. Most of the world's leading enterprises are already actively intertwining their own innovation activities with the challenges of Industry 4.0, which allows them to find new solutions and achieve the desired results at lower costs and with greater added value. Accordingly, there is a need to adapt innovation to Industry 4.0, which is influenced by the concept of "strategy for innovative development", which requires further detailed research. The article defines the features of economic development, innovation and the main factors of influence. The article examines the essence and trends of Industry 4.0 on a global scale, analyzes and highlights the main areas of implementation of Industry 4.0 achievements in enterprises, as well as ways to create surplus value. The stages of development of strategy of innovative development of enterprises, proposed by Russian and foreign scientists, and the stages of development of strategy of innovative development in the context of Industry 4.0

The article provides insights into the role of exhibitions in managing innovative development of enterprises in various industries, with or without consideration of risks posed by the COVID crisis. Based on the results of previous research, the findings reveal that the process of innovation development management should involve management decisions made both on each of its structural elements separately and overall. An emphasis is put that the choice of company innovative development strategy and its market promotion strategy for products / services affect the significance and relevance of company exhibition participation as well as the need to plan the exhibition participation costs. The results of the survey of managers and executives in various sectors of the economy who participated in exhibitions during 2019-2020 demonstrate that these costs might also depend on the exhibition objectives and the formats perceived by managers within the overall plan of company innovative development management. The study discusses the major exhibition participation goals in the framework of implementing alternative strategies of enterprise innovative development along with providing evidence that exhibition participation is of the highest priority in case of implementing a novel strategy, and the lowest – in case of using a retro-innovation strategy. The case studies from the selected companies of consumer goods industries presented the goals and a brief description of the specifics of their participation in exhibitions in the process of managing their innovative development. The conclusion has verified that the exhibition participation priorities in the process of enterprise innovative development management vary significantly subject to industry affiliation and the selected strategy for innovative development as well as may result from various restrictions imposed by a pandemic, in particular. Apart from the above, the findings have identified the risks of exhibition activities during the COVID period and outlined anticipated trends of change in business decisions as to exhibition participation. It is argued that online exhibitions have proved a good alternative to traditional exhibitions activities, however they challenge the application of advanced digital technologies. The results of this study can be used to enhance enterprise innovative development management practices.

In the article, the author proposes the creation of information and methodological support for organizational and managerial innovations for industrial enterprises, which is a set of standards, methods, norms and regulations for the implementation of innovative activities, regulated by the relevant institutions and determining the «rules of the game». Organizational and managerial innovations were chosen by the author due to the fact that recently, the main attention is paid to product and technological innovations, and organizational and managerial innovations are either not paid at all, or are not given enough, although these are significant reserves for increasing the volume of innovation. Methodological tools for the development of information and methodological support for organizational and managerial innovations in the industrial sector are especially relevant for detailing the main operations of the innovation process, monitoring and managing the parameters of logical connections between the elements of control of this process. Based on this, the author concludes that the information and methodological support of organizational and managerial innovations at the present time in a modern industrial enterprise a priori formulates the need for the use of automated informatization systems for managing innovative processes, taking into account their constant analysis, assessment, monitoring and updating, according to the required changes in the innovative activity of the enterprise. The article studies a new direction of innovative processes in the industrial complex of the Russian Federation – the use and unification of engineering innovations in order to increase their efficiency. The author proposes to form a model of an information and innovation engineering center, based on "unified routes for designing engineering innovations", with direct linking of the design processes of organizational and managerial innovations to the phases of the life cycle of engineering innovations, within the boundaries of which the results are exchanged between the performers of different phases of the innovation activities. The author highlights the unique features used in the formation of an information and innovation engineering center, consisting in the spatial distribution of technological and information and resources for different subjects of innovation, through the organization and use of distributed information networks. The model proposed by the author of the information and innovation engineering center is aimed at the development of innovative activity of industrial enterprises.

Subject. This article focuses on the development strategy of the agro-industrial complex and innovative development of agricultural organizations in the Republic of Mordovia. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Mordovia. Methods. For the study, reviewing fundamental and applied research works of domestic scientists, I used general scientific and special methods. Results. Having analyzed the main trends of technological development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Mordovia, the article identifies the priorities of innovative development of agricultural organizations and presents methodological approaches to the formation of a strategy for innovative development of agro-industrial complex industries. Conclusions. The identified positive developments in technological development are not sufficient for the comprehensive innovation of the agricultural organizations of the Republic of Mordovia.

The article is devoted to the issues of strategic analysis of the break-even of agro-industrial complex organizations as a basis for making managerial decisions. The technique of partial calculation of the production cost of production in the “direct-cost” management accounting system is considered. The economic substantiation of options for the sale of dairy products by an enterprise using methods of full and partial absorption of costs is given. The results obtained can be used by agribusiness enterprises to form a development strategy and strategic business plans.

The article considers the problem of evaluation of innovations in the process of enterprise development and formation of its strategy. The role and place of innovations in the global system of effective development of the enterprise and ensuring competitiveness and growth of its market value are shown. The basic positions concerning systematization in approaches to an estimation of innovations in the course of activity of the enterprise are generalized. It is proposed, as an element of the general study of innovative development of the enterprise, to consider and evaluate it from the standpoint of subjectivity and objectivity. The specificity of the study is to distinguish in the management system of innovative development of the enterprise object and subject of management and focus on them. It is proposed to study the innovative activity of the enterprise in the coordinates "subject - object of innovation". Methodological approaches to the assessment of innovative activity of the enterprise are presented. The author's interpretation of the concept of "subjective innovation" is given and its connection and difference with such concepts as "human resource" and "human capital" are shown. Subjective innovation, as an important component of human capital, in its content and importance in the system of competitive development of the enterprise is a key factor of innovation potential and the basis for the formation and implementation of its financial and economic development strategy. A general method of evaluating the concept of "subjective innovation" in the process of enterprise development is proposed. Based on the content of the concept of "subjective innovation", the objective complexity of its exact calculation (at the present stage of development of science) and the possibility of certain tolerances in such calculations in the work it is recommended to evaluate this concept by an expert method. It is determined that the proposed assessment will generally improve and deepen the process of managing the innovative development of the enterprise.

Innovation plays a decisive role in the long-term perspective of an enter-prise. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the need for knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations and patterns of formation, structure, sources of increase, assessment methods and directions for the effective use of innovative potential. This knowledge will make it possible to evaluate and develop new areas of innovative activity of the enterprise. Also form an effective strategy for the innovative development of the enterprise. This is a prerequisite for its competitiveness. The purpose of the study is to determine the components of the innovative potential of an enterprise and analyze approaches to assessing the innovative potential of an enterprise in order to effectively manage its development. Innovation potential is the main category that reflects the state of the innovation component in the development of any enterprise. The author's approach to defining the components of the innovative potential of an enterprise is presented. The review of the factors influencing the formation and development of innovative potential is carried out. Assessment of innovative potential is a complex task that requires an integrated approach. The purpose of assessing the innovative potential is to obtain complete and objective information about the state of internal subsystems, which is necessary for the successful innovative development of all enterprise subsystems. A review of modern methods for assessing the innovative potential of an enterprise is carried out. There is no consensus on the issues of assessing and predicting the level of innovation potential and the effectiveness of innovation activities of enterprises. When considering the techniques, the general disadvantages inherent in most theories were highlighted. The conclusion is made: when assessing the innovative potential, it is necessary to take into account the innovative capabilities and the current level of innovative activity of the enterprise. The information processing process is the final stage of the analytical work to assess the innovative potential. Information processing techniques and techniques are important elements in conducting an assessment.

The article aims at studying the trends in the current state of the innovative activity at Ukrainian enterprises and its financing. The current state of the innovative activity at Ukrainian enterprises is analyzed; the financing of such an activity is explored. Trends in the innovation activities of Ukrainian enterprises during 2015–2019 indicate the presence of significant problems and a low level of innovation development, which, in turn, has a negative impact on product competitiveness and economic development, in general. So, according to the Global Innovation Index-2019, Ukraine ranks 47th among 129 surveyed countries. As for industrial enterprises, only 782 of them are innovatively active, making up 15.8% of their total number. It has been found out that the introduction of innovations in industrial enterprises in Ukraine is slowing down due to the lack of financial resources. The financial resources of enterprises remained the main source for funding innovation during 2015–2019. The role of the state in financing innovation is not significant, so almost the whole financial burden falls on business entities, which naturally hinders the increase in the innovative activity at enterprises. The problems of innovative development of enterprises in Ukraine have been identified and it has been established that the current state of innovation is a consequence of the lack of strategic vision and consistent state policy in transiting Ukraine to an innovative development path. The results of the research carried out shows the necessity of designing the Strategy for innovative activity development till 2030.
