Abstract Agriculture and the industry associated with it has traditionally been focused on man and his direct labour with minimal use of machinery and mechanical equipment. But gradually advanced technologies are being introduced into this area. Today, almost any labour and creative processes of human activity are closely connected with maximum informatization and visualization of information through digital technologies, including in the agro-industrial complex. The article examines the design role, computer graphics and colour in the process of creating objects and equipment for the agro-industrial complex. The task is to trace how the digital technologies’ use affects the design and imaginative solution of the object world, which colour is more often used for the agricultural machinery design, what is the reason for the particular colour choice. The issue of creating virtual interfaces for the promotion of companies engaged in the production and sale of machinery and components of the agricultural sector, on the Rostselmash example, was also touched upon. The modern computers and programs’ use in industrial design makes it possible to accelerate the process of the preparatory stage of sketching, the search for a figurative and colour solution of the future object of the spatial environment, and most importantly - to achieve a successful aesthetics and functionality collaboration.

The article discusses the main directions and forms of adaptation of agricultural production experience to integration into digital platforms for the functioning of the agricultural sector. The informational and statistical basis of the study is determined; a circle of modern research centers that deal with the use of digital technologies in the agricultural sector is outlined; the technologies used in the agricultural sector are classified based on the cliometric approach, that demonstrated by analyzing the yield of grain crops in Russia from 1850 to 2019. Digital platforms for the functioning of the agro-industrial complex are highlighted, allowing to implement areas and forms of adaptation of agricultural production experience to integration into them. Concrete recommendations are given on the use of digital technologies in the field of agricultural production from the standpoint of increasing the competitiveness of agro-food products.

The paper features digital technologies in satellite farming and introduces a quantitative methodology to evaluate various types of their effectiveness. The authors determined the main types of efficiency and components of evaluation and substantiated the algorithm of analysis. The paper also contains a list of related economic, environmental, and social components, as well as a set of formulas and dependencies. The methodology for assessing the effectiveness of digital technologies has a two-block structure. The first block determines the needs and opportunities for the implementation of digital technologies and helps to define the enterprises that may benefit from digital technologies. The second block involves a direct evaluation of the results and efficiency of the digital technologies to be implemented and substantiates management solutions. The paper describes approaches and procedures that help to assess the biological, technological, and economic benefits of digital technologies for an agricultural enterprise. The authors quantified the structure of the environmental effect of the introduction of digital technologies and introduced some dependencies can determine profitability and cost recovery indicators. The research used the methodological approach to assess the environmental and social efficiency of digital technologies for an agricultural enterprise. The approach corresponds with the requirements of sustainable agricultural development declared by the UN. The results can be used by enterprises of the agro-industrial complex and suppliers of digital technologies.

Today there are serious difficulties in staffing of agricultural economy. The article analyzes the reasons for the decline in the level of staffing in this sphere. There are objective factors that are associated with the urbanization process at the global and regional levels. In Russia this is accompanied by the change in t social expectations of rural youth. At the same time, there is still a rather high need for staffing in specific sectors of agriculture. It is obvious that with the introduction of digital technologies and modern agrobiotechnologies, automation and robotization of agricultural sector, the list of specialties and competencies of agricultural workers will expand. The authors pay due attention to the problems of employment of graduates of agricultural universities. As an example of a positive solution to this problem, the issues of organizing employment of graduates of Kazan State Agrarian University (KSAU) are considered. The authors believe that the paper will be useful to the heads of agro-industrial complex and agricultural universities in the further development of theoretical and practical issues of agricultural sector staffing.

The modern directions of the implementation, application and use of modern digital technologies in the agricultural sector are reviewed and evaluated. The implementation of the Digital AIC platform will create a new model of economic behavior of agricultural producers and give them additional income, many times exceeding all state support for the AIC. A methodology for the analysis and synthesis of the implementation of digital technologies in the Russian agro-industrial complex has been formed in the article, which will allow to determine the laws and factors of the formation of problems of the implementation of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex, to study trends in the dynamics of digital technologies in order to identify promising areas for expanding the implementation of digital technologies. As a result of application of the methods of analysis and synthesis (literature analysis, analysis of modern documents, analysis of the results of the introduction of digital technologies), the causes and factors “inhibiting” the introduction of digital technologies in Russia are identified, trends and factors affecting the growth (decrease) rate of the introduction of digital technologies are identified in Russia.

The technological trends of the era are revealed - digitalization of all spheres of civilization's life, their impact on the socio-economic ecosystem is determined. The author notes the penetration of digital technologies into all spheres of the economy, and, in particular, into the agro-industrial sector. The factors hindering the introduction of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex are identified. The most important digital technologies that can increase the productivity of agricultural production have been identified. The scientific work used the logical and historical research methods, the comparative method, the analogy method, the systematic approach. The conclusion is made about the influence of digital trends of metamodern on the agricultural sector of the country's national economy as a factor in increasing the productivity of agricultural enterprises and their competitiveness in the domestic and world markets.

Modern realities of sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex require new trends and tools. The article considers digital technologies as one of the key parameters for the development of the agricultural sector of the economy in increasing production efficiency. The greatest emphasis is placed on the formation of territorial - innovative models of the agrarian sector of the republic’s economy, considering the growth of the gross domestic product, but at this time, the agrarian sector is not technologically modernized enough for the development of these platforms. First of all, it is necessary to resolve the issues of staffing with highly qualified specialists, which will allow to deploy digital technologies and reduce costs by 23%, since the average cost savings in land use using GPS navigation technologies is 11-14%, with differentiated fertilization - 8-12%. In addition to the growth of economic components, this development path ensures the environmental safety of agricultural production.

The basis of this process is the digitalization of the processes of monitoring the movement of transport and control of fuel consumption, in view of the most optimal direction for the operational reduction of production costs. Improving the efficiency of agricultural production and the competitiveness of agricultural products is impossible without the creation of professional teams with a high level of productivity. The formation and development of the personnel potential of the agro-industrial complex comes to the fore in the light of ensuring the country’s food security and solving the problems of import substitution. The development of the industry relies more on the creation of a vertical education system, the development of rural territories, etc. Compilation of forecasts for the staffing of the agroindustrial complex will coordinate the efforts of educational institutions, business structures, and authorities in organizing the training and retraining of personnel for the agricultural sector.

The article considers the reclamation park, which is an instrument of state stimulation of the development of economic entities of the agro-industrial complex on irrigated lands. On the example of the Rostov region, the authors analyzed the organizational, economic and regulatory mechanisms for the functioning of reclamation parks, as well as the socio-economic effects that arise in connection with the implementation of the specified tools. The results obtained can be used by state authorities of the Russian Federation, a constituent entity of the Russian Federation when drawing up plans for socio-economic development, developing strategies and programs, as well as by economic entities in managing agricultural activities.
