It is evident that a lot of accidents occur because of drowsiness or inattentiveness of the driver. The logical consequence is that we have to find methods to better analyze the driver. A lot of research has been spent on camera-based systems which focus on the driver's eye gaze or his head movement. But there are few systems that provide camera-free driver analyzing. This is the main goal of the work presented here which is structured in three phases, with the operational goal of having a working driver analyzer implemented in a car. The main question is: is it possible to make statements concerning the driver and his state by using vehicle data from the CAN Bus only? This paper describes the current state of driver analyzing, our overall system architecture, as well as future work. At the moment, we focus on detecting the driving style of a person.

This chapter charts new frontiers of scholarly inquiry in fiduciary law. The chapter first orients the reader by taking stock of the current state of play in fiduciary scholarship. It then identifies a range of important questions that should inspire future work in the field. More specifically, it identifies pressing questions of legal theory (conceptual and normative analysis), economic and empirical legal studies (including classical and behavioral economic analysis), and historical and sociological inquiry. The chapter also raises questions of interest to private law theorists and scholars interested in exploring the significance of fiduciary principles within various subfields, from trust and corporate law to health law and legal ethics.

This paper presents a review of developing of creep damage constitutive equations for high chromium alloy (such as P91 alloy). Firstly, it briefly introduces the background of creep damage for P91 materials. Then, it summarizes the typical creep damage constitutive equations developed and applied for P91 alloy, and the main deficiencies of KRH (Kachanov-Robatnov-Hayhurst) type and Xus type constitutive equations. Finally it suggests the directions for future work. This paper contributes to the knowledge for the developing creep damage constitutive equations for the specific material.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the trajectory of Belarusian-Lithuanian relations with a particular focus on the period after the 2020 Belarusian presidential election, which resulted in a change in international relations in the region. This was the moment that redefined the Lithuanian-Belarusian relations, which until 2020 were satisfactory for both sides (especially in the economic aspect). However, Lithuania began to pursue a reactive policy of promoting the democratisation of Belarus and provided multi-level support to Belarusian opposition forces. The current problems in bilateral relations (e.g., the future of Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant located in Astravyets) have been put on the agenda for discussion at the EU level, while the instruments of a hybrid conflict in the form of an influx of immigrants into Lithuania, controlled by the Belarusian regime, have become a key issue for the future prospects of relations between Belarus and Lithuania.

The article presents the result of the analysis of the problems of maintenance of on-board pneumatic systems and units in terms of the requirements for completeness and efficiency of the requested information. It is shown that the current state of the workflow modeling tools of these systems do not fully meet the maintenance requirements at all stages of the product life cycle. An approach to modeling pneumohydraulic systems and units is proposed, as well as ways to reduce the time from the moment of setting a problem requiring the development of a new mathematical model to obtaining adequate simulation results. The efficiency of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the example of a pressure regulator operating in a dynamic mode. The possibilities and ways of implementing modeling tools based on the proposed approach are shown.

The author explains the conditions and reasons for the introduction in 2003 a new major, that is Film and Television Producer into the list of Media Majors for which the students are trained in higher educational institutions for the domestic industry. The article points out the goals and tasks for developers of normative and methodological materials required for the introduction of such a major, the functional responsibilities and skills of the producer in audiovisual industry and the main features of his/her activities as compared to the classical entrepreneurship skill set. The author presents the list of learning outcomes and the tasks a graduate who has mastered the curriculum of the Producer program should solve. A highlight of the article is given to the legal basis for ensuring the activities of the producer. Besides, the professional standard of "Film Producer", approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, is critically evaluated. Basing on the analysis of the current state of the national film business the author reflects on the problems and challenges the system of professional training of producers, faces and outlines the prospects for the future work. These problems demand further diversification of Film Majors including the introduction of a new one called Producer of distribution. Moreover, its necessary to determine the optimal number of students, to write the teaching aids and textbooks aimed at solving practical problems existing in film business and multimedia and mastering the current students skills. The author states that one of the most crucial problems in the system of producer training is the unresolved issue of financial support of the diploma project (a film shot by a graduate). The author offers his own system of the development of a diploma film, which will allow us to give a more realistic and deeper assessment of the abilities, skills and knowledge of a future film-maker. The second half of the article gives a brief overview of the current state of cinema, television and multimedia in Europe and determines, in this respect, the main directions for improving the system of professional training of producers in European film schools, taking into consideration the new industrial context. The fact that the changing industrial context makes producers seek for new ways to reduce uncertainty and risks, attracting external investors and co-producers, is particularly stressed. The author also reflects on the problem of the so-called TV-ization of a film, which has set absolutely new tasks in front of the producers and creators of audiovisual product. In conclusion, the author presents a summary of the main principles, methods and approaches to structuring the educational process while teaching students the Major "Film and Television Producer" at the Film University Babelsberg named after Konrad Wolf. The author appreciates the experience of German colleagues, which can be implemented into domestic practice.

Simulating the transmission of HIV requires a model framework that can account for the complex nature of HIV transmission. In this paper the authors present the current state of the art for simulating HIV with agent-based models and highlight some of the significant contributions of current research. The authors then propose opportunities for future work including their plan that involves identifying and monitoring high-risk drug users that can potentially initiate high-risk infection propagation networks.

According to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), US work zones on freeways account for nearly 24% of nonrecurring freeway delays and 10% of overall congestion. Historically, there have been limited scalable datasets to investigate the specific causes of congestion due to work zones or to improve work zone planning processes to characterize the impact of work zone congestion. In recent years, third-party data vendors have provided scalable speed data from Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and cell phones which can be used to characterize mobility on all roadways. Each work zone has unique characteristics and varying mobility impacts which are predicted during the planning and design phases, but can realistically be quite different from what is ultimately experienced by the traveling public. This paper uses these datasets to introduce a scalable Work Zone Mobility Audit (WZMA) template. Additionally, the paper uses metrics developed for individual work zones to characterize the impact of more than 250 work zones varying in length and duration from Southeast Michigan. The authors make recommendations to work zone engineers on useful data to collect for improving the WZMA. As more systematic work zone data are collected, improved analytical assessment techniques, such as machine learning processes, can be used to identify the factors that will predict future work zone impacts. The paper concludes by demonstrating two machine learning algorithms, Random Forest and XGBoost, which show historical speed variation is a critical component when predicting the mobility impact of work zones.

Obesity is an emerging health problem among the workforce. This review examined the published literature in the last decade presented in prominent human factors and occupational safety and health journals to map out the current state of the research and direct future work. Overall, 44 studies were identified, out of which 27% focused on general effects of obesity on work performance, disability or occupational injury and 73% studied hypotheses regarding the effect of obesity on functional capacity, balance and performance of specific tasks. While over 90% of general studies suggest some significant adverse effect, only ~47% of specific studies report such results. While obesity co- occurs with chronic conditions such as diabetes or cardio-respiratory issues, laboratory based studies which exclude subjects with comorbidities may fail to fully manifest obesity effects. With only four studies identified that investigated an interaction of obesity with other personal or job-related health risks, future research in this regard is warranted.

Modeling human behavior is important for the design of robots as well as human-computer interfaces that use humanoid avatars. Constructive models have been built, but they have not captured all of the detailed structure of human behavior such as the moment-to-moment deployment and coordination of hand, head and eye gaze used in complex tasks. We show how this data from human subjects performing a task can be used to program a dynamic Bayes network (DBN) which in turn can be used to recognize new performance instances. As a specific demonstration we show that the steps in a complex activity such as sandwich making can be recognized by a DBN in real time.

We investigate the feasibility of using Microsoft HoloLens, a mixed reality device, to visually analyze network capture data and locate anomalies. We developed MINER, a prototype application to visualize details from network packet captures as 3D stereogram charts. MINER employs a novel approach to time-series visualization that extends the time dimension across two axes, thereby taking advantage of the immersive 3D space available via the HoloLens. Users navigate the application through eye gaze and hand gestures to view summary and detailed bar graphs. Callouts display additional detail based on the user’s immediate gaze. In a user study, volunteers used MINER to locate network attacks in a dataset from the 2013 VAST Challenge. We compared the time and effort with a similar test using traditional tools on a desktop computer. Our findings suggest that network anomaly analysis with the HoloLens achieved comparable effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. We describe user metrics and feedback collected from these experiments; lessons learned and suggested future work.
