Athletics disciplines are characterized by motor movements that can be successfully applied during the educational process or through other forms of exercise, which significantly affect the development of general psychophysical abilities of individuals. Each of the disciplines of athletics acts on the development of individual abilities, but also on the general psychophysical status of man and for this reason athletics is called the "queen of sports". Athletic activities have a characteristic of participant inclusion.The values of the paper will be based on the purpose of anthropometric, basic motor and specific motor characteristics of students aged 21 years ± 6 months.A total of 70 male students, 7 anthropometric variables, 7 motor variables and 1 specific motor variable that were tested during the period of May, of the academic year, 2020/2021 were included in the research.In the basic parameters students, based on the results achieved in this anthropometric variable, are presented as a moderately homogeneous group.Although it is seen that the acquired flexibility and convexity (Skewness and Kurtosis) have a pronounced asymmetry, in the vast majority of anthropometric variables. Thus the statistically significant coefficients of the variables with the highest degree of statistical inference (p <0.01) are denoted by two asterisks. he purpose of this study was to improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant networks in class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar in the 2017/2018 academic year. The learning model used in this study is the Mind Mapping Learning Model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTsN 2 Aceh Besar with a total of 33 students consisting of 13 male students and 20 fe-male students. This research was conducted in the 2017/2018 Academic Year within a period of 3 months, namely from August 2017 to October 2017 in Odd Semester. The research methodology is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research procedure con-sisted of pre-research, planning cycle one, implementing action cycle one, observing cycle one, reflect-ing cycle one, planning cycle two, implementing action cycle two, observing cycle two and reflecting cycle two. The data collection technique is to collect test scores that are carried out at the end of each lesson in each cycle using a question instrument (written test). Observation data was carried out by look-ing at the activeness of teachers and students during the learning process. The learning outcome data were analyzed by means of percentage statistics, while the observation data were analyzed by means of a Likert scale. The results showed that there was an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes from 39.39% in the pre-cycle increased to 60.60% in Cycle I and increased to 87.87% in Cy-cle II. Observation of teacher activity during PBM has increased from a total score of 88 good categories in Cycle I, increasing to a total score of 93 good categories in Cycle II. The application of the Mind Mapping learning model can improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant tissue for class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar for the 2017/2018 academic year.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between academic achievement and physical fitness in California schools. Data from the academic year 2004-2005 Fitnessgram were compared to reading, mathematics and science scores on the California Standards test (CST) of 253 elementary schools in the Orange County School District. Physical education teachers from the 10 lowest scoring and 10 highest scoring schools were interviewed regarding content of the physical education classes in their school. Simple correlation coefficients revealed a positive linear relationship between academic scores and physical fitness scores. The interview with the teachers revealed that most of the 10 lowest scoring schools did not have a designated physical education teacher. All of the 10 highest scoring schools had designated physical education teachers and followed the physical education guidelines recommended by the California Education Board.

Background: It is generally accepted that due to various reasons, the age of drug abuse prevalence continues to decline, which imposes numerous personal and social dysfunctions. Objectives: This study aimed to assess the prevalence of drug abuse among adolescents in Kerman, Iran. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 2,000 10th - 12th-grade students in the academic year of 2017 - 2018 selected by random cluster sampling. Data collection tools included demographic characteristics checklist and alcohol smoking and substance involvement screening test (ASSIST). Data were analyzed using chi-square test. Results: The results showed that the highest prevalence of substance abuse among students was related to tobacco, alcohol, and sedatives. It was also demonstrated that the use of cigarettes, sedatives, cannabis, and amphetamine was significantly higher among male subjects compared to female participants (P < 0.05). Moreover, 16.4, 12.9, and 5.1% of the tobacco, alcohol, and sedative users required low interventions, respectively, whereas 1.5, 0.8, and 0.4% of them required high interventions, respectively. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, there was higher drug abuse prevalence in male students compared to female students. As such, it seems that consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and narcotics in adolescents requires serious intervention.

Within the article the authors analyze the feasibility of using social network «Vkontakte» as an effective environment for teacher-student communication on the example of teaching discipline «Editorial craftsmanship» (2015-2016 academic year). It was investigated the communicative role of the teacher and students during teaching / mastering course using a community «Editorial craftsmanship». Based on results of the survey community members – students training direction «Publishing and Editing» Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University it was found that this form of organization of educational process in extracurricular time is effective for students. Proved that it extends the communication component, is convenient at performance of independent work on course, provides additional consultations, makes learning accessible, informal, interactive and creative.

The article reveals the gender characteristics of boys and girls, which should be taken into account in teaching in general, and in teaching foreign languages in particular. Theoretical analysis of psychological literature has revealed the gender characteristics of students that must be taken into account when teaching foreign languages. Methods of research. To study the gender characteristics of students, we have developed an author's questionnaire that includes the study of the reasons for students' reluctance to speak English with representatives of the opposite sex and the tendency of students to work in groups. The results of study reveal the features of learning material by girls and boys, the gender reasons for students ' reluctance to speak English with representatives of the opposite sex, and the characteristics of female and male students to work in groups. Discussion of the research results. Based on the results of the research, the article develops recommendations for organizing the educational process, taking into account the gender characteristics of the assimilation of educational material by boys and girls. Conclusion. Based on the study, an important conclusion is made that the use of a gender approach in education has a positive impact on the development of students, their development of the curriculum, team cohesion, academic performance, motivation, and much more.

This research aims to obtain information about the use of props model of bands of numbers in improving mathematics learning outcomes about the operation of arithmetic numbers in class V students I SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo academic year 2017/2018.This research was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo UPT Education District Giriwoyo Wonogiri Regency, September to October 2017. The research method used is classroom action research with two learning improvement cycles. The object of this research is the students of grade V of SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo, amounting to 14 students with details of 9 male students and five female students. Instruments for collecting data are student observation sheets in the learning process, teacher observation sheets in the learning process, and test of learning outcomes.The result of the research shows that there is an increase in learning result from initial condition 60,35 to 77,50 in cycle II (final condition). In addition, the number of students who reached the minimum criteria of completeness was increased from 3 students at the initial condition of 12 students on the final conditions. From the results of the above research can be stated that the use of model props can improve the results of mathematics learning about integer counting operations in Grade V students of first semester SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo.Keywords: Operation Count, Number Band

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the sporting talent in male students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Jaten the academic year 2019/2020. This research uses a descriptive method. This study wanted to describe giftedness in male students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Jaten. The population and sample in this study were male students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Jaten in the academic year 2019/2020. The subjects in this study were male students of grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Jaten in the academic year 2019/2020 as many as 100 students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and measurements of the sports search model which consisted of 10 test items, namely: height, sitting height, body weight, length of the two arms, throwing a tennis ball, throwing basketball, jumping upright, running agility. , sprint 40 meters and run multi-stage. The data analysis technique used computer software "sport search" and modified sport search. The results of this study show that the sports talents possessed by male students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 2 Jaten for the 2019/2020 academic year which consisted of several sports groups, namely, 37 students (37.00%) of sprint, long running, 5 students (5.00%), throwing a javelin as much as 1 student (1.00%), throwing bullets by 1 student (1.00%), pole jumping by 1 student (1.00%), long jump and multiply 7 students (7.00%), high jumping as many as 31 students (31.00%), archery by 2 students (2.00%), gymnastics as many as 15 students (15.00%). Team / Ball: soccer as many as 32 students (32.00%), futsal as many as 1 student (1.00%), volleyball as many as 44 students (44.00%), handball as many as 23 students (23.00%) . Combative: karate as many as 26 students (26.00%), taekwondo as many as 23 students (23.00%), pencak silat as many as 51 students (51.00%). Racket / Stick: The conclusion of this study is that from a total of 100 students who took the giftedness test sport search, the classification of giftedness level was determined. There were 2 students who were talented to become athletes, 16 students were talented enough to become athletes, 44 students were less talented to become athletes and 38 students were not gifted as athletes.</em></p>

The relevance of the study is conditioned by rapid transition to digital forms of education, which is associated with the pandemic. Students have changed the way they interact with teachers and with each other, which constantly leads to transformation of personal meanings, values, rethinking of their purpose and role in the educational process. The purpose of the study, presented in the article, is to investigate unusual characteristics of the semantic sphere regarding male and female students’ academic activity. Hypothesis: semantic content of academic activity differs in male and female students. Participants are first-year full-time students, studying at the Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Engineering and Economics and Faculty of Human Resources Management (N = 102, aged from 18 to 22 years, 52 participants are female students and 50 participants are male students). The participants were tested using Life-Purpose Orientations Test (D. A. Leontiev) and the Ultimate Meanings Technique (D. A. Leontiev). Based on the latter methodology, the entire sample was divided into five groups depending on the presence of a certain meaning. The conjugation of ultimate meanings and gender was determined using φ-Pearson criterion, while MANOVA criterion helped to investigate differences in life-purpose orientations depending on gender and ultimate meanings. We established differentiation within ultimate meanings in education depending on gender of a student: men are focused on respect and safety, while women are focused on getting pleasure and gaining confidence. We found that women connect getting pleasure and gaining confidence while learning with monitoring their lives, whereas male students connect it with the ultimate meanings of security and respect, satisfaction with their own lives and the feeling of being able to influence their life. The obtained results can help to draw the following conclusion: development of the individual system of life-purpose orientations and its functioning in the educational situation are interconnected with gender as one of the most essential biosocial characteristics of an individual.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA-3 SMAN 2 Jember in the 2017/2018 academic year through the application of discovery learning to the material properties of salt solutions. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two research cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA-3 SMAN 2 Jember, totaling 36 students, consisting of 17 male students and 19 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation for the implementation of the learning process and tests to determine student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of discovery learning can improve student learning outcomes regarding the properties of salt solutions. In the first cycle the percentage of student learning completeness was 58.33% (21 students) and increased in the second cycle, the percentage of student learning mastery was 88.88% (32 students). There was a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely 30.50%. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MIPA- 3 SMAN 2 Jember tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui penerapan discovery learning pada materi sifat larutan garam. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus penelitian yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA-3 SMAN 2 Jember yang berjumlah 36 siswa, terdiri 17 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi untuk pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi sifat larutan garam. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 58,33% (21 siswa) dan meningkat pada siklus II, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 88,88% (32 siswa). Terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 30,50%.

In this study I investigated the development of complexity, accuracy, and fluency (CAF) in the English writing of 2 Japanese university students of elementary-to-low-intermediate English proficiency over the course of 1 academic year. Data were analyzed from a dynamic systems theory (DST) perspective using min-max graphs, moving correlation coefficients, and a Monte Carlo analysis. The findings show that (a) the CAF measures followed nonlinear trajectories in their development, (b) they often did not correlate positively with one another, and (c) they sometimes showed signs of improvement during phases of high intravariability. The findings suggest that to understand the developmental trajectories and processes involved in language development more deeply, cross-sectional studies of developmental trends of groups should be supplemented with longitudinal studies that examine language development in individual learners. 本研究では日本人大学生(初級から中級下レベル)二名の英文ライティングの熟達度を一年間にわたり、複雑さ、正確さ、流暢さ (complexity, accuracy, and fluency: CAF) の指標から調査を行った。データ分析はダイナミックシステム理論の観点から、ミニマックスグラフ、移動相関係数、モンテカルロ分析を使用して行った。その結果、(a) 両者のCAFの発達軌跡は非線形であり、(b) CAFのすべてが互いに正の相関関係をとることはほぼなかった。さらに (c) 学習者個人内のCAFの軌跡が大きく変動した後に発達の兆候がみられることがあった。本結果から、言語発達の軌跡やそのプロセスをさらに理解するためには、グループ間を比較する横断研究を、個々の学習者を調査する長期的研究で補完することを提案する。
