The purpose of this research is to study the language style of Rhoma Irama's song lyrics entitled "Citra Cinta". To study these lyrics, stylistic theory is used, which is an interdisciplinary linguistic theory whose object of study is literary works. The work steps used in this study are to apply stylistic work steps initiated by Pradopo, namely analyzing language style based on the units that build literary works, namely sound style, word style, sentence style, and discourse style. The results of the analysis show that the language style that builds the lyrics of the song "Citra Cinta" by Rhoma Irama cannot be separated independently because the lyrical discourse of the song is built by a coherent sound style, word style, and sentence style to build the discourse,  namely the value of love that is holy and noble.

<p>This study examines the interpersonal meaning realized in the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Lovestrong” and the contribution for teaching of a modern English grammar. It will be easier and more interesting to analyze the interpersonal meaning through the literary works that we hear everyday such as song lyrics.The objectives of this study are to describe the interpersonal meaning realized in the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Love strong”, to know the most dominant Mood Types and Speech Roles, to describe the Modality realized in those lyrics and to describe the contribution of interpersonal meaning in the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Love strong”. The design of the research was descriptive qualitative. The main sources of data in this research were the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Love strong”. There were five song lyrics that the writers analyzed in this study. The analysis of the data used the following steps: those followings, listened to the songs, found the printed lyrics of the songs, analyzed the clauses based on the Mood-Residue elements and found the Modality through Modal Finite and Mood Adjunct. Next step, the writer classified the clause to get the most dominant of Mood Types and Speech Roles. The last, the writers drew the conclusion of this study.  The results of data analysis shows that the interpersonal meaning in the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Love strong” realized in the wordings of the clause if analyzed based on the elements of interpersonal meaning, the most dominant Mood Types is Declarative, the most dominant Speech Roles is Giving Information, the Modality realized through the use of modal finite and mood adjunct, and the contribution  of interpersonal meaning in the lyrics of Christina Perri’s Album “Love strong” for teaching of a modern English grammar is to help the students easier and more interesting to analyze the interpersonal meaning through the lyrics of their favorite song or favorite singer. The conclusions of this study are; the realization of the interpersonal meaning in the song lyrics, we should read them thoroughly while analyzing based on the interpersonal meaning elements. Based on the Mood Types and Speech Roles analysis, the song writer or singer wants to declare something and give information to the readers or listener through these songs. <br /> <br />Keywords: interpersonal meaning, song lyrics, mood types, modality, modern English grammar</p>

This research examines the style of language in song lyric entitled “A Stylistic Analysis of Hey! Say! Jump’s Song Lyrics in Jumping Car Album”. This research aims to find out the kinds of  language style and describe the meaning of the song lyrics. Language style theory used in this research is theory proposed by Keraf. This research used a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The data collection technique employed in this research was listening and note taking technique. Collected data were analyzed by using equivalent technique and technique of immediate constituent analyst. Data source used in this research is twelve song lyrics in Jumping Car album. The kinds of language style found consists of 3 (three) metaphor, 5 (five) personification, 7 (seven) simile, 16 (sixteen) allegory, 1 (one) eponym, 1 (one) synecdoche, 4 (four) metonymy, 1 (one) epithet, 1 (one) antonomasia, 1 (one) cynicism and 1 (one) sarcasm. The dominant kinds of language in this research is allegory. All of the meaning of the kinds of language which found shows songs in Jumping Car album describing love and life story in which contain happiness and sadness.

Abstract— Literary works are works of art created by the author, through the writing of literary works that he makes, writers or authors use their imagination and are expressed through words, forming language as a form of his imagination. For this reason, understanding of literary works cannot only be studied for its intrinsic elements, but also for its extrinsic elements. The author's Sleeping Exercise Book for Poetry Collection “Joko Pinurbo” presents poetry titles that are very interesting and easy to remember by literary lovers and audiences. Based on this, the researcher is interested and wants to prove and describe the uniqueness and attractiveness of the poetry titles of "Joko Pinurbo" Poetry Sleeping Exercise Book, especially in the style of language used in the work. Keywords—: Literary works; Poutry; language style.

The purpose of this study is to describe the prophetic values of the lyrics to the song "Akhlak" (2019) and "Virus Corona" (2020) by Rhoma Irama. To study the prophetic values in the two song lyrics, the sociology of literature approach is used, especially in the social aspects of literary works, because the prophetic values are one of the social aspects of literary works. The concept of prophetic values used to analyze the two lyrics of the song, refers to the concept of Kuntowijoyo, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence. The results of the analysis of the lyrics to the song "Akhlak" and "Virus Corona" both clearly contain an invitation to do good (humanization) and prevent bad deeds (liberation). Although the lyrics of the song highlight the value of humanization and liberation, but both lead to human servitude to God (transcendence).Keywords: Prophetic values; song lyrics; social aspects; and transcendence. IntisariTujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai profetik lirik lagu “Akhlak” (2019) dan “Virus Corona” (2020) karya Rhoma Irama. Untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai profetik dalam kedua lirik lagu tersebut digunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, khususnya pada aspek-aspek sosial karya sastra, sebab nilai-nilai profetik itu merupakan salah satu aspek sosial karya sastra. Adapun konsep nilai-nilai profetik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis kedua lirik lagu tersebut, mengacu pada konsep Kuntowijoyo, yaitu humanisasi, liberasi, dan transendensi. Hasil analisis terhadap  lirik lagu “Akhlak” dan “Virus Corona” tampak jelas keduanya berisi ajakan untuk berbuat baik (humanisasi) dan mencegah perbuatan yang tidak baik (liberasi). Meskipun lirik lagu itu menonjolkan nilai humanisasi dan liberasi, tetapi keduanya bermuara pada penghambaan manusia pada Tuhan (transendensi).Kata kunci: Nilai profetik; lirik lagu; aspek social; dan transcendental.

This paper was prepared with the aim of knowing the function of the personification style in the lyrics of the song Finding Love and Menemaniku, which was created by the Band Noah. The method used in this research includes two methods, namely methods in linguistics and stylistics. The results obtained in this study are that the personified language style is a language style that can give strength to something as if it can carry out activities / actions such as activities / actions carried out by living things (animals, humans,). The personified language style has a function to describe the atmosphere as if it were real and alive, and can also bring out the atmosphere, impressions / images of certain senses; at the same time it can create beauty (aesthetics) that is in the song lyrics.

AbstracLanguage in literary works contains elements of beauty. Beauty isan aspect of aesthetics. This opinion is in line with Zulfahnur'sopinion, language style and writing is one of the interestingelements in a reading. Each writer has a different style in pouringeach of his writing ideas. Every writing that is produced later hasa style of writing that is influenced by the author, so it can be saidthat, the character of a writer greatly influences the work hewrites. This is consistent with the opinion of Pratikno (1984: 50)that the nature, character or character of a person is different.Language style is the use of a wealth of languages, the use ofcertain variations to obtain certain effects, the overall languagecharacteristics of a group of literary writers and the unique wayof expressing thoughts and feelings, both orally and in writing.The style of language used by the author is essentially a way ofusing language precisely to describe the feelings and thoughts ofthe author which are different from the everyday languagepatterns and are subjective. This research aims to find the type, function, and meaning of any language style contained in the song lyrics of Iwan Fals album 50:50 2007. This study examines each song lyrics contained therein, and grouping them according to the type of language style, as well as studying its function, then knowing the meaning to be conveyed through the lyrics of the song. This study uses a qualitative approach using content analysis methods. The researcher first collected data in the form of song lyrics, then conducted an analysis of the linguistic style of song lyrics by Iwan Fals in the 50:50 2007 album to find the function of the type of language style found, as well as what meaning was contained in it. The research results found by researchers namely in the 50:50 2007 album found 3 types of language style groups, namely: (1) comparative language styles, (2) conflicting language styles, (3) affirmative language styles. Of all the existing language styles, the author is more dominant to use a metaphorical language style in conveying the message to be conveyed through the lyrics of the song. By finding the style of language in the lyrics of the song, the reader can understand the message conveyed. The results found by researchers, the 50:50 album by Iwan Fals is more dominant using the style of the metaphorical language. The use of metaphorical style of language is considered to represent the feelings of the writer to be conveyed to the listener or reader.

Children express their feelings and thoughts in literary works (poetry) that are created naturally and honestly. They express their world in a beautiful and happy way. Therefore, it is important to understand the world of children expressed in the literary works they create. In this study, discussed about the world of children depicted in children's poetry published in the Lintang tabloid published in January to November 2017. The problems discussed are (1) how the child's world image in poetry contained in the Lintang Tabloid; and (2) how children express their world through poetry in the Lintang tabloid. The method used is a qualitative method that focuses on library studies with techniques of reading, listening, note taking, and interpretation. The theory used is semiotic theory. The results showed that the children's poetry in the Lintang Tabloid published in the Lintang tabloid published in January to November 2017 generally contained five themes, namely: the environment, animals or animals, profession, plants, and love of the motherland. All these themes are expressed with the feelings and thoughts of the child's world and dominantly expressed by using the language style of repetition, metaphor, and personification.

The strength of poetry by Mollah Panah Vagif is not only for the closeness to the people, or for nationality and the sweetness of language style, but also for universal characteristic features. Mollah Panah Vagif is one of the outstanding persons who has great value both in his living period, next centuries and nowadays too. His literary works are not only the beginning of Renaissance period of our national poetry, but also founded the basis of new literary school having a talent of showing reality. Mollah Panah Vagif's literary works play a lighthouse role for his followers. This literary school was the realism of our national-people poetry. This reality is our today's victory for our motherland. When we watch Mollah Panah Vagif's literary works through the mirror of XXI century, we can see that he has been risen to the peak of modernity of poetic talent. The main fact of this peak is Vagif's realism, his universal feelings, his accuracy and being laconic. Reflecting deep meanings with few words by poet is the basis of this work. That is the obvious example of the poet's high talent. Abstract. To understand language style and moral messages, the first thing to do is describe the language contained in the song's lyrics and then examine its aesthetic functions and valuesby stylistics theory. The purpose of this research is to describe the style of language and moral messages contained in the lyrics of the song Mandar. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The method used in this research is a case study. The first stage, a preliminary study. The second stage, set / formulate the problem and determine the focus of research. The third stage, the study of literature and research analysis. The fourth step is collecting data. The fifth stage, data processing and interpretation. The sixth stage, making a research report. While for data collection, it is carried out by means of tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the linguistic style contained in the mandar song lyrics in broad outline, namely the opposing language style (hyperbole, litotes, antithesis), comparative language style (personification, hyperbole, metaphor, sinekdoke pars pro toto), affirmative language style (tautology, climax, repertis, anticlimax, inversion), while the moral message contained in the lyrics of the mandar song about the importance of maintaining loyalty and sharing in a relationship.
