This study aims to describe the common mistakes that occur in new students majoring in Arabic on the practice of speaking skills. This type of research is qualitative through a descriptive approach. Collecting data through the method of speaking, listening, and observing. The results of this study indicate that the forms of language errors that often occur are in 1) phonology, 2) morphology, and 3) syntactic. In the phonological aspect, there are replacements in the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, additions in pronunciation, and omissions. In the morphological aspect, errors were found in the use of auzānul fi'il, tastniyah, and jama' muannast salim. In the syntactic aspect, errors were found in the use of dhamāir munfasilah and muttashilah, jar majrūr, tarkīb na'ti, tarkīb 'adadi, jumlah fi'liyah, and jumlah ismiyah. To face these previous problems, the teacher provided the treatments on the following forms: (1) Presenting the pronunciation of Arabic letters and the pronunciation of the vocabulary intact. (2) Introduce short expressions. (3) Presenting sentence patterns. (4) Providing short dialogues, and certainly all of these qualities are applied to these students gradually and continuously in the class in the form of two-by-two. In addition, all these treatments were presented by the teacher through podcasts and YouTube, the crazy method, the rhetorical method, and the problem-solving method

This study aims to analyze the Indonesian language syntactic interference on English Speaking Skills of English Language Students. The research subjects were students of semester 3 at a non-English language college in Garut. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with equivalent and distribution methods. Meanwhile, the corpus was obtained by using the listening technique (SBLC), recording and taking notes from students' conversation assignments about their past activities in the form of videos. The results showed that the syntactic interference in this study includes the inaccuracy of word forms that are influenced by the past, inaccurate subject-verb agreements, inaccuracies, absence of articles, sentence patterns that do not match S + V + O, inaccurate use of the words 'no' and 'not'.Keywords: interference, syntax, speaking skills

<p class="m-2016200510025434855gmail-p2"><em>Abstrak - </em><strong>Tahun 2019 Kemenristekdikti memberlakukan kebijakan baru dalam seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru, yakni Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK). Pada tahun ini peserta akan mengikuti UTBK terlebih dahulu kemudian nilai yang didapatkan akan dipakai untuk mendaftar ke perguruan tinggi. Jika dilihat dari peminatnya dari tahun ke tahun serta keterbatasan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) dalam menerima mahasiswa baru,  terdapat persentase cukup tinggi terkait peserta yang gagal diterima di PTN. Fakta ini dapat memunculkan kecemasan pada siswa SMA yang disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, yakni rasa tidak percaya diri dalam menghadapi tes, khawatir terhadap saingan, dan tidak yakin dengan kemampuan diri. Meskipun begitu, siswa yang memiliki kecemasan dalam menghadapi UTBK tentu memiliki strategi <em>coping</em> masing-masing. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran <em>coping </em>kecemasan pada siswa SMA yang mengadapi UTBK tahun 2019. Metode yang digunkan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui <em>screening </em>dan <em>interview, </em>kemudian hasilnya akan diolah menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siswa SMA yang memiliki tingkat kecemasan <em>mild </em>dalam menghadapi UTBK tahun 2019 cenderung memiliki teknik <em>coping </em>kecemasan yang tergolong adaptif. <em>Coping </em>tersebut dominan melibatkan kognitif, seperti <em>problem solving, managing avoidance, challenging anxious thoughts. </em>Sedangkan pada siswa perempuan, <em>coping</em> juga melibatkan emosi, yakni berdoa.</strong></p><p><em>Abstract - </em><strong>In 2019, Kemenristekdikti will legitimate a new policy about the admission of new state university students, which is a computerized based test called UTBK. This fact might be caused anxiety towards students who will face UTBK this year. According to that possibility, the assumption is every student who has anxiety will have different types of coping strategies with their anxiety. Thus, this research aims to describe how the students cope with their anxiety within this circumstance. The method that is used in this research is the qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data was collected using screening and interview, then it was being analyzed using thematic analysis. The result has shown that most of the students who have a mild level of anxiety have an adaptive coping strategy. Interest in wisdom in the cognitive sciences, psychology, and education has been paralleled by conceptual confusions about its nature and assessment. To clarify these issues and promote consensus in the field, wisdom researchers met in Toronto in July of 2019, resolving disputes through discussion. Guided by a survey of scientists who study wisdom-related constructs, we established a common wisdom model, observing that empirical approaches to wisdom converge on the morally-grounded application of metacognition to reasoning and problem-solving. After outlining the function of relevant metacognitive and moral processes, we critically evaluate existing empirical approaches to measurement and offer recommendations for best practices. In the subsequent sections, we use the common wisdom model to selectively review evidence about the role of individual differences for development and manifestation of wisdom, approaches to wisdom development and training, as well as cultural, subcultural, and social-contextual differences. We conclude by discussing wisdom’s conceptual overlap with a host of other constructs and outline unresolved conceptual and methodological challenges.

These articles aim for an inquiry or problem-solving orientation that includes at least four activities each for K–Grade 2, Grades 3–4, and Grades 5–6. This month's problem set aligns with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, includes factual data from Disney Parks, and makes connections between mathematics and real-life applications.

This study aims to address learning problems in SMA 1 Lubuk Basung, in particular to improve the learning outcomes of students in Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) in the class XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung through the use of Problem Solving Approach. The results showed the use of Problem Solving Approach successfully improve student learning outcomes, which in the first cycle in which the average value obtained new students reached 7.1 with classical completeness 71% and in the second cycle increased reach an average value of 8.31 with classical completeness of 93%. It can be concluded that the use of Problem Solving Approach to learning Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) succeeded in improving student learning outcomes in the class XII.IPA.2 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung

The April 2017 National Science Foundation-funded Breaking the Boundaries in STEM Education conference brought together Southern California science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) faculty to explore equity, problem-solving, and computing in an interdisciplinary manner. Two main research questions guided the overall scope of the conference: (1) What are the common threads across disciplines to approach the teaching and learning of skills that are relevant in STEM? (2) What are the challenges and barriers that need to be overcome in order to foster collaboration across disciplines to impact the teaching and learning of skills relevant in STEM? We describe the background of the conference and provide an overview of the questions addressed.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mathematical concepts of students in solving the problem of polyhedron of cubes and cuboids with assisted of Schoology media. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive approach. This study describes the ability to understand mathematical concepts that owned of students with Schoology media. Research subjects is three students selected by purposive sampling based on conditions and situations that occured during the current co-19 pandemic. The data collection used consists of tests of understanding the ability of mathematical concepts. Based on the results of research showed that the ability to understanding students' of mathematical concepts with Schoology-assisted able to provide understanding of material polyhedron of cubes and cuboids by the average results of students getting value 91,67. Where the first student is able to reach an understanding indicator of mathematical concepts from given by agreeing to the concept, classifying objects according to certain properties, giving concepts in various forms of mathematical representation, explaining the relationship between one concept with another concept, and applying the concept in problem solving . While the second and third students can only reach four indicators from the second indicator given. Schizophrenia adalah gangguan jiwa berat ditandai dengan perubahan pada persepsi, pikiran, afek, dan perilaku seseorang. Gejala schizophrenia berlangsung selama jangka waktu minimum  satu  bulan dan kemunduran  fungsi  berlangsung minimum selama enam bulan dengan tingkat kekambuhan 70 - 82%. Penderita schizophrenia sering ditemukan kurang mendapat dukungan sosial dalam mengoptimalkan proses rehabilitasi setelah menjalani perawatan di Rumah Sakit. Tujuan studi untuk mengekplorasi pengalaman survivor schizophrenia beradaptasi pasca rawat. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif fenomenologi terhadap 10  informan. Hasil  ditemukan 5 tema adaptasi pasca perawatan di rumah sakit yaitu cara menghadapi suatu permasalahan, memiliki pekerjaan setelah keluar dari rumah sakit jiwa, dukungan keluarga, dukungan lingkungan dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan. Kesimpulan adaptasi survivor schizophrenia pasca perawatan di rumah sakit  membutuhkan kemampuan problem solving, dukungan dari keluarga dan masyarakat. Kata kunci: adaptasi, pengalaman, schizophrenia, survivor THE EXPERIENCE OF SCHIZOPHRENIA SURVIVOR ADAPTATION POST-CARE IN HOSPITAL    ABSTRACTSchizophrenia is a severe mental disorder characterized by changes in a person's perceptions, thoughts, affect, and behaviour. Schizophrenia symptoms last for a minimum period of one month and deterioration of function lasts for a minimum of six months with a recurrence rate of 70 - 82%. Schizophrenia sufferers are often found to lack social support in optimizing the rehabilitation process after undergoing treatment at the hospital. Purpose to explore the experience of survivor schizophrenia adapting post-treatment. Method Qualitative with a phenomenological descriptive approach to 10 informants. Results found 5 adaptation post-treatment themes in the hospital namely how to deal with a problem, having a job after leaving the mental hospital, family support, environmental support and support of health workers. Conclusion: Adaptation of post-treatment schizophrenia survivors in hospital requires problem- solving skills, support from family and community.  Keywords: adaptation, experience, schizophrenia, survivor

Abstract: Respondin to the development of the strategic environment provides opportunities and motivation for efforts to solidify the values of Pancasila as a philosophy of national life. For this reason, the study is needed to understand the collectivity as a Pancasila value system in the development of the strategic environment in Indonesia. This research used a library research method with a descriptive approach. The findings of this research are the collectivity in the life of the Indonesian people is a form of joint work of the Indonesian people in achieving the common goals of the Indonesian people so that Indonesia continues to stand on the basis of Unity in Diversity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika) and not on the basis of the minorities of Indonesia's diversity. Pancasila is a philosophy of the personality of the Indonesian nation that was born from the collectivity of the nation's culture so that becoming a Pancasila is certainly able to face the development of a strategic environment both at the national and local levels. The use of Pancasila has become an instrument in order to maintain the integrity of the Indonesia and also to support national security.Keywords: Pancasila, Strategic Environment, Collectivity. Abstrak:  Menyikapi perkembangan lingkungan strategis memberikan peluang dan motivasi bagi upaya-upaya memantapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai falsafah hidup bangsa. Untuk itu, maka sangatlah diperlukan sebuah kajian untuk memahami tentang  kolektivitas sebagai sistem nilai Pancasila dalam perkembangan lingkungan strategis di Indonesia. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu kolektivitas dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia adalah bentuk kerja bersama bangsa Indonesia dalam mencapai tujuan bersama bangsa Indonesia sehingga Indonesia terus berdiri atas dasar ke-Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dan bukan atas dasar minoritas-mayoritas dari keberagaman Indonesia tersebut. Pancasila merupakan sebuah falsafah kepribadian bangsa Indonesia yang terlahir dari kolektivitas budaya bangsa sehingga menjadi Pancasila tentunya mampu menghadapi perkembangan lingkungan strategis baik dalam tataran nasional maupun tataran lokal. Penggunaan Pancasila ini menjadi instrumen dalam rangka menjaga keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) dan juga untuk mendukung keamanan nasional.Kata kunci: Pancasila, Lingkungan Strategis, Kolektivitias
