Abstract. In this time one of the main ingredients for cookies is wheat flour. To decrease the dependency of wheat flour, it needs to substitute with one of the local ingredient, that is cowpeas. One of the way to improve the use of cowpeas is by changing it into flour so that it is more flexible to use. The goals of this research are to know the level of community preference and to know the content of moisture, protein, and calcium for the cowpea substitution cookies. This research is held in Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Semarang. The design experiment that is used for this research is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design which is classified in True Experimental Design. The data collection method uses subjective assessment to test product cookies and packaging labels, while the thermogravimetric method for water content, the kjeldahl method for protein and the AAS method for calcium content. The method of data analysis on the preference test used percentage descriptive analysis and laboratory tests used chemical analysis. The results of the analysis for the level of preference show that sample A substitution  of the cowpea 30% are very liked by the community with an average total percentage of 84.31%. The results of the content test showed that the more cowpea flour substitutions the lower the water content and the increased protein and calcium content.Keywords: Cowpea cookies, cookies.Abstrak. Selama ini salah satu bahan utama dalam pembuatan cookies adalah tepung terigu. Untuk mengurangi ketergantungan tepung terigu, maka cookies perlu disubstitusi dengan memanfaatkan pangan lokal yaitu kacang tunggak. Untuk meningkatkan manfaat kacang tunggak salah satunya dengan mengubahnya menjadi tepung dengan tujuan lebih fleksibel dalam penggunaanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan masyarakat pada produk cookies substitusi tepung kacang tunggak dan untuk mengetahui kandungan kadar air, protein dan kalsium pada produk cookies substitusi tepung kacang tunggak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Semarang. Pada desain eksperimen dalam penelitian ini, yang digunakan Pretest-Posttest Control Grup Design yang tergolong True Eksperimental Design. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan penilaian subjektif untuk uji kesukaan produk cookies dan label kemasan, sedangkan penilaian objektif dilakukan uji laboratorium dengan metode thermogravimetri pada kandungan kadar air, metode kjeldahl pada kandungan protein dan metode AAS pada kandungan kalsium. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif prosentase untuk tingkat kesukaan, dan analisis secara kimiawi. Hasil analisis tingkat kesukaan produk menunjukkan bahwa sampel A substitusi tepung kacang tunggak 30% sangat disukai oleh masyarakat dengan rerata prosentase total 84.31%. Hasil uji kandungan menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak substitusi tepung kacang tunggaknya maka samakin menurun pada kandungan kadar airnya dan semakin meningkat pada kandungan protein dan kalsiumnya.Kata Kunci: Cookies kacang tunggak, cookies.

Type II diabetes mellitus due to an unhealthy lifestyle, one of which is the lack of fiber in daily food consumption. One food that has a high fiber content is tofu dregs. The purpose of this study was to determine substitution of wheat flour with tofu dregs flour to produce a snack bar with the best characteristics, and determine the effect of consumption of snack bar from tofu dregs on blood sugar content in rats. The research was conducted two steps. Step I: Formulation of snack bar using a completely randomized design with tofu dregs flour concentration of 0 %, 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, 40 %, and 50 %. The variables of this study were the content of water, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates, sensory tests, and effectiveness tests. Step II: the best characteristic snack bar in the step I was used experimental rats. This step used true experimental design with pre-post test control group design. The variables of study were blood glucose levels before treatment and after treatment. The treatment group consisted of normal, negative, positive control, and snack bar. The results of the first step of the research showed that substitution of wheat flour with 40 % tofu dregs produced the best characteristic snack bar with 17.19 % water content, 1.33 % ash content, 11.03 % protein, 20.53 % fat, 49.92 % carbohydrate, light brown color, unpleasant aroma, distinctive soy taste, crumb texture, 0.63 % water soluble food fiber, 1.57 % water insoluble fiber, and total food fiber 2.36 %. The results of the second step of the study showed that the provision of substitution of wheat flour with tofu dregs flour 40 % could reduce blood sugar levels in diabetic mellitus rats until normal, start 290 mg/dl to 108.5 mg/dl. Tofu dregs flour can be used for snack bar formulations for people with diabetes mellitus.

The purpose of this study is to see the differences in the mean increase in student mathematics learning outcomes in the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) model and reciprocal teaching (RT) model. The sample in this study were 25 students as the experimental class 1 and 23 students as the experimental class 2. This research was an experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the mean pretest score of the experimental class 1 was 51.64 and the posttest result was 70.88 with the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes reaching 0.39. While the mean pretest score of experimental class 2 was 36.52 and the posttest result was 70.48 with the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes reaching 0.51. The variance of the increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the experimental class 1 was 0.02, and the experimental class 2 was 0.01. The results obtained indicate that the increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the reciprocal teaching learning model is higher than the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes using the AIR learning model.

This research aimed to determine the improve in mastery of students' physics concepts through the application of an advanced organizer model on material momentum and impulses. The research method used was quasy experiment with pretest posttest control group design. The research population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya which is a sample of research with class X MIPA 1 as an experimental class totaling 23 students and class X MIPA 2 as a control class of 24 students. The research instrument used the concept mastery test questions. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at absorption, learning effectiveness and the results of students' concept mastery scores and analyzed inferentially using the T-test. Descriptive analysis results obtained an average absorption of experimental class students by 81.61% with the effectiveness of learning categorized effectively. Furthermore, for the mastery of the concept of each experimental class indicator on the first and second indicators obtained very good categories, the third indicator obtained the medium category and the fourth indicator with a low category. The results of inferential analysis obtained a significant increase in the mastery of student concepts in the class applying the Advance Organizer learning model to the classroom with conventional learning. Based on the results of the research, the advanced organizer learning model can improve students' mastery of the concepts in the material momentum and impulses of class X SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya.

The meaningful learning process of an individual is understood separately with his emotional aspect or cognitive aspect. Cognition and emotions are interrelated, and hence in the learning process it requires functions of both the domains. Cognition can be a basis for emotion and the emotional process can have cognitive outcome. Therefore the aim of the study is to examine the effect of emotive cognition strategies on enhancing meaningful learning. The investigator has employed experimental research with a pre-test-post-test-control group design. The size of the sample of the study is 90 first year B.Ed. Student-teachers, 45 in the experimental group and 45 in the control group. The researcher has implemented emotive cognition strategies application in teaching to the experimental group for enhancing their meaningful learning. The data have been collected before and after the intervention through the administration of the tools- A Scale for Assessing the Application of Emotive Cognition Strategies in Teaching and A Scale on Measuring Meaningful Learning of the Learners. The data have been analyzed through statistical techniques. The descriptive analysis shows that there is a significant mean difference between pre-test and posttest scores of the experimental group in emotive cognition application and meaningful learning. The experimental group which had intervention scored higher in the post-test in their meaningful learning. In contrast, the control group had the traditional method of teaching received a low score in the post-test. Correlation analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between emotive cognition application and meaningful learning.

This study aimed to determine the effect of cognitive behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Pan balang greedy to increased interest persuasive students through lesson study VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. This research is the study design "quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment)" Design nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used is random sampling and random class as an intact group of subjects of this study were 38 people VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. The process of taking data in this study using the method of observation, interviews, diaries and questionnaires Interests linkert scale pattern persuasive and descriptive analysis and statistical analysis used the formula for the t-test. Empirical findings in this study stated that there are significant cognitive-behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Pan balang greedy to increased interest persuasive students through lesson study VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. This is evidenced by the t value of 3,516 sig.0,01 with 0:01 <0.05. with a significance level (p) <0.05 indicating that counseling services will be more effective if counselees in the implementation of the service is facilitated by modeling techniques Balang Greed Pan models. Based on this statement we can say that the cognitive-behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Balang Greed Pan right models applied in schools.

The study aims to develop mobile exercises through games to strengthen students’ creative thinking. To achieve the goal of learning a sports and health subject, teachers may use optional teaching methods. It is carried out using an experimental research and development project called The Postest-Only Control Group Design. When analyzing the quality of the learning process, a quantitative descriptive analysis technique based on Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) questionnaires are used. The implementation rate for all indicators was found to be 89%. The small group shows a probability index of less than 0.05% or 0.000 and an FCE index of 89.35%. The large group reveals 0.000 and the FCE category is 85.26%. It is necessary to research developing the activity of learning the movements performed by games to strengthen creative thinking, another influence on the creative thinking of students from both the product test group and the control group is the transfer of exercises through games. Based on FCE, it shows that learning quality is important for employment, and according to experts, the entire product design is also important to apply.

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application. This research method used quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class implementing Distance Learning with schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application and class VIII B as the control class without using schoology media. Data collection techniques with knowledge competency tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of news text knowledge in the experimental class using schoology media is better than without using schoology media. The average learning outcomes obtained were 81, the average N-gain obtained was 0.72 in good category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

The learning process of physics at school, the topics is sometime less relatedto the existing dailylifephenomenon.This condition causes low improvement of students' cognitive learning result. In this case, it was a necessary to apply a learning model to improve student learning result by applying phenomenon based learning model (PhenoBL). Quasi experiment in the form of nonequivalent control group design as the model of the research. The instrument to collect data used test of student cognitive at pretest and posttest, respectively. The Data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis show the average absorption rate of experiment class is 71.05% and control class is 63.33% which both classes are in a good category. In the paired sample t-test results stated an increasing of students cognitive learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. This can also be seen from the inferential analysis in that means there was a significant differences between experimental class and kontrol class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of PhenoBL model can improve student learning outcomes of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on optical material.

Pancake is a dish that has a sweet and savory taste than baked in a frying pan and is round and flat. So far, pancakes are made from wheat flour, thus increasing the use of wheat flour. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce dependence on wheat flour. One way is to optimize local ingredients, one of which is pumpkin. Based on this background, research was carried out with the following objectives: 1) Analyzing the effect of pumpkin flour substitution on the chemical and sensory characteristics of the pancakes produced 2) Determining the best formulation of pumpkin flour substitution in making pancakes to produce the preferred pancakes. The object of research in this study was a pancake substitution of pumpkin flour which was different, namely 0%, 5%, 15%, 25%. The data analysis method used was the ANOVA method and to find the best formulation used the preference test (Hedonic). The results of the ANOVA study showed that the addition of pumpkin flour had a significant effect on the water content, ash content, fat content and carbohydrate content of the pancakes. The pancake sample that the public likes is sample F2 with the addition of 15% pumpkin flour.

This research aims to analyze the practicality and effectiveness student worksheet based on multiple representation to improve conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability, especially in magnetic material. The research method using quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, class XII student high school in Bandar Lampung. The instruments are feasibility student worksheet of observation sheet, student responses to the student worksheet, student activity sheets, and conceptual understanding test and problem-solving ability test. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis by percentage, N-gain analysis, and independent t-test. The results showed student worksheet based on multiple representation: 1) practical, which is indicated by a) the average score student worksheet enforceability in any learning activity that is 87.31 with very high criteria and b) the positive response of students (83.75%) against student worksheet. 2) effective, which is indicated by a) the student's activity during the study included in the active category, and b) there are significant differences in conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability between the experiment class and control class. Conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability are taught using student worksheet based on multiple representation the experimental class better than the control class.
