ABSTRAK Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung salah satu institusi perguruan tinggi yang memiliki kualitas yang bagus dan memiliki potensi yang dapat menyerap mahasiswa baru berdasarkan berlimpahnya data awal yang diperoleh dari tahun ajaran 2013/2014 sampai dengan 2016/2017, dengan tahapan seleksi penerimaan yang banyak bahkan mahasiswa baru yang terserap beberapa tahun terakhir mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan.Dalam penelitian dilakukan analisa perbandingan algoritma fuzzy logic metode Tsukamoto, Sugeno dan Mamdani untuk memprediksi jumlah pendaftar untuk tahun kedepan dilihat dari jumlah mahasiswa yang lulus dan registrasi dari tahun sebelumnya dan dalam membandingkan perhitungannya menggunakan nilai rata-rata dari hasil yang diperoleh pada ketiga metode fuzzy tersebut dengan aplikasi berbasis web.Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dihitung bahwa metode fuzzy Mamdani mempunyai tingkat error yang lebih kecil sebesar 19,76% dibandingkan dengan metode Tsukamoto sebesar 39,03% dan Sugeno sebesar 86,41% pada prediksi jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru.   ABSTRACT State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung one of the university institutions that have good quality and has the potential to absorb new students based on the abundance of preliminary data obtained from the academic year 2013/2014 until 2016/2017, with the selection selection stage Which many new students even absorbed in the last few years have increased and decreased. In the research, comparative analysis of fuzzy logic algorithm of Tsukamoto, Sugeno and Mamdani method is used to predict the number of applicants for the next year seen from the number of students who graduated and registration from the previous year and in comparing the calculation uses the average value of the results obtained in the three fuzzy methods with web-based applications. In every academic year, the department of Arabic literature, Malang State University arranges ikhtibar tashnifi (placement test) for new students aimed to know their competence in Arabic language. Previously, the test was held through paper-pencil test. This research was aimed to develop steps in designing ikhtibar tashnifi web-based application for placement test and describe the use of web-based placement test. The method used was R&D (Research & Development). Some steps were conducted: preliminary study, product development, professional testing, revision, limited experiment, revision, and final product. The respondents were all the new students of Arabic literature department at the university academic year 2013. The research found the major concern in designing this application was observing, doing library research, and designing the program. Before it is used, the program should be first installed in the local server, creating database, and running the program. The validity of ikhtibar is 81,25%, while the result of media professional analysis is 85%.

This research was conducted by using a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach was chosen to be tested theories by examining and measuring variables in the form of relationships, differences, influences, contributions, and the others. The research was carried out by describing the students acquisition data on the new student admission (PPDB) using zoning system based on the academic year 2019-2020 and the student acquisition data on the academic year PPDB 2018-2019 as a comparison. Based on the results of the study, the new students of PPDB using zoning system was considered lower in terms of economic and educational background of parents. There were more parents with less education (elementary & junior high school) in the zoning system than in the rayon system, whereas parents with higher education in the zoning system were fewer than the rayon system.  Likewise, in terms of income, there were more people with the low income in the zoning system than in the rayon system, and those having high income were fewer than in the rayon system. The study showed that the intelligence and the result of National Examination Score (NUN) in the zoning system is lower than in the rayon system. The intelligent level of the students in the zoning system is mostly dominated by the scores under 90-109, while in the rayon system were dominated by the scores above 90-109.  The National Examination Scores (NUN) in the zoning system were evenly distributed from a range of scores 0 to 30, while in the rayon system the scores were dominated by a range of scores 28-30, with the lowest score 24.

First-year experience (FYE) programs offer librarians opportunities to teach new students in a comprehensive fashion. However, large FYE programs can place demands on user education programs that are difficult to meet. Instruction librarians at the University at Albany sought to address this dilemma by developing a Web-based instructional module for one class session. The module was used by a segment of students in the Project Renaissance FYE program, whereas another segment received instruction by a librarian. The effectiveness of the two instructional methods was compared using pre- and post-tests, and was found to be equal. Analysis of the test scores also showed that instruction, regardless of format, makes a significant difference (p < .05) in the number of correct test answers.

<p class="Abstrak">Setiap tahun, pada bulan Desember dilaksanakan acara wisuda bagi santri TPA binaan Universitas Darussalam Gontor (UNIDA Gontor) yang dinyatakan lulus ujian. Para santri tersebut harus lulus empat tahapan ujian, yaitu lisan, praktik, tulis dan Al-Quran. Pada sistem penilaian yang ada saat itu, masih menggunakan perhitungan rata-rata. Padahal menurut evaluasi para Ustadz dan kepala Lembaga Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPkM) mestinya ujian Al-Quran menjadi prioritas utama. Maka hasil evaluasi memberi rekomendasi bahwa ujian Al-Quran wajib dimasukkan dalam prioritas utama dengan bobot paling besar sebagai acuan penentuan kelulusan. Untuk mendapatkan sebuah prioritas dalam penilaian perlu sebuah metode yang memberikan bobot nilai yang multi attribute, diantaranya Weight Product (WP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode WP untuk seleksi kelulusan santri wisuda TPA UNIDA Gontor dalam bentuk sistem informasi. Pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman <em>PHP </em>dan <em>MySQL</em>. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode <em>black box </em>dan kuesioner. Pengujian sistem menggunakan metode <em>black box </em>menghasilkan alur dan rangkaian sistem yang diharapkan tanpa ada error. Pengujian sistem dengan penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert menghasilkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,47 dengan rentang kepuasan “tinggi”. Hasil dari penerapan metode WP ini sudah berjalan sesuai prioritas nilai ujian sesuai dengan aturan LPkM. Pada penelitian berikutnya bisa dikembangkan dengan metode lain diantaranya SAW, TOPSIS, AHP, ARAS dan lain sebagainya.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Abstract"><em>Every year, in December, a graduation ceremony is held for TPA students assisted by the University of Darussalam Gontor (UNIDA Gontor) who have passed the exam. The students must pass four stages of the exam: oral, practical, written, and Al-Quran. In the current rating system, it is still using the average calculation. According to the evaluation of the teacher and the head of LPkM, the Al-Quran exam should be the top priority. Then the assessment has a recommendation to gives direction to the stages of the Al-Quran examination included in the top priority. To prioritize the review needs a multi-attribute weight value method, including Weight Product (WP). This study aims to apply the WP method to select prospective students graduating from TPA UNIDA Gontor in the form of information systems. Development of Web-based information systems using PHP and MySQL programming languages. System testing has done using black-box testing and the questionnaire. Testing using the black-box produces expected system paths and sequences without any errors. Testing the system by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale provides an overall average value of 4.47 with a "high" satisfaction range. The results of the WP method's application have been running according to the priority of the test scores by the rules of LPkM. Other methods can be applied in further research, including SAW, TOPSIS, AHP, ARAS, etc.</em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

As an educational institution, the thing that must be considered is the quality of service. If educational institutions always pay attention to the quality of their services to prospective new students, it will have an impact on the image of the campus which can lead to an increase in the interest of prospective new students who will register at UMSIDA. This study aims to determine the effect of Customer Service on the perceptions of new students and services at UPT New Student Reception at Muhammadiyah University, Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the location in this study was at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo with a sample of 96 respondents taken using the Slovin formula. While the sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 16.0. The results of this study stated that there was a good influence Customer Service (X) on the perception (Y1) of new students by 82.4% and a good effect of Custumer Service on service (Y2) of new students by 81.2% at the UPT of New University Student Admissions Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo.

Abstraction                     Forecasting or forecasting is a calculation analysis technique that is done by carrying out qualitative and quantitative approaches to think about future events using reference data in the past. The purpose of this study is to predict the number of new students at the Faculty of Information and Visual Communication Technology at the Al-Kamal Institute of Science and Technology in the academic year 2020/2021. Prediction of the number of new students in the Faculty of Information and Visual Communication Technology of the Al-Kamal Institute of Science in the future accurately is very important to do, because many decisions can be taken by the Leaders of the Al-Kamal Institute of Science and Technology from these predictions. Markov Chain Automatic Clustering and Fuzzy Logic Relationship Method was chosen because it has a better level of accuracy among other Fuzzy Logic methods. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Academic Information System of the Al-Kamal Institute of Science and Technology. Based on this research it was found that the predicted results of the number of new students of the Faculty of Information and Visual Communication Technology at the Al-Kamal Institute of Science and Technology in the academic year 2020/2021 amounted to 64 with a MAPE of 8.25%

The existence of a system that is applied online can help and facilitate human work in various aspects of life so that it is easier and more effective. The implementation of the registration of prospective new students is used as the initial process of entering a new level in education. The implementation of the registration of prospective new students who have to come directly to the school to fill out the registration form is considered ineffective and inefficient. So, to make the registration process easier, it is necessary to create an online registration information system. For the analysis stage using flowcharts, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, Erd, and hierarchies for the design stage using class diagrams. With the design of a web-based system, it can simplify the process of registering new members, storing data relating to new student registrations can be stored neatly using a database and information relating to new student registration can be obtained quickly and accurately.

- In the last years, in the occidental world, was developed an increase of the incidence in behavioural eating disorders, mostly by young people with a middle-high social status. There are many studies based on the nutritional habitudes of the adolescent, but we know less things about an eventually correlation between the eating disorder and the decision to follow an particular university course. Our purpose is to extend the pilot study made in the academic year 2005/2006 based on the questionnaire EDI-2 completed by the students that follows the University for Nutrition (I-II-III year of study), Obstetrician, Dental Hygienists, Sanitary Assistant, to valuate if the selection of the courses could be influenced by an pre-existent attitude more or less pathologic towards the food. The study was represented during the academic year 2006/2007, with the new students from the same courses. The considerable extension of the sample has permitted to obtain significant statistical results. The study is based on the test EDI-2 completed by the students between 16 and 49 years: 224 students, 187 females and 37 males (middle age 22,08 ds 4,72) The test EDI-2 (Eating disorder inventory-2) is the first and probably the most utilized method for individualizing the nutritional disorders, which can be utilized up the age of 11. The test are composed of 91 items, the first 64 represent the 8 primary scores while the last 27 represent the 3 additionals scores. The analysis of the dates shows that the nutritionists presents significant high scores in many scales. They have in particular important problems in the scale of bulimia compared with the other students. Comparing the scores M vs F, shows that sex can be an element which can influence the probability to be on risk or to present a behavioural eating disorder. Particular, the females shows high scores compared to the males on the scale Drive for thinnes (F=6,12; M=1,11). In the entire sample of study, the percents of female on risk is higher compared to the males, with higher values mostly in the scale Drive for thinnes (P&lt;0.000; FM=5,7 vs MM=2,5), and in Body Dissatisfaction (P&lt;0.000; FM=9,8 vs MM=5,1). Based on the results, it can be supposed that the choice of the course in nutrition is, for many students, conditioned by the pre-existent problematic rapport with the food. In particular it seems a higher probability among students following an Academic Nutrition course to have some bulimic problems, with a higher risk in the female group. STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa is an educational institution that deals in English education and mathematics education. STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa organizes new student admissions every year. In organizing the admission of new students, STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa still uses a manual system that is by recording all registrants using books and registration forms are still stored in a cupboard. This makes it difficult for the organizing committee to manage data, which data will change from time to time. The solution to the problems that are happening at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa is to build a Web-Based New Student Admission Information System at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa. This system was developed using the PHP programming language by using the CodeIgniter and MysSql Framework as a database. The method used in building this system is to use the waterfall method. This system is expected to simplify and speed up the data management process for prospective new students.

This research has the aim of building a system of acceptance for new students with a website-based method, so that it can help prospective new students in the subject make it easier to obtain information about the registration of new students. Data processing in the acceptance of new students at Al Amanah Vocational School Pasar Kemis still uses Conventional systems, namely prospective registrants come directly to the school then fill out the registration form then the registration data is recorded in a book and reports are made also using manual recapitulation resulting in archival loss and needing a very long time in the process of making a report. Using research methods namely Library Studies, Analysis, Observation, Designing, Trial and Implementation. The information system at the admission of new students is designed using the PHP programming language and using the MySQL database as a Database Server. The output of this research is that the information system on admission of new students with web-based can have the ability to provide convenience for parents of new students in terms of getting all information about acceptance to new students and doing the registration process flow online.   Keywords: New Student Admissions, PHP, MySQL Database.
