The local cultural values that recently begin to be ignored is an important issue to be highlighted in the teaching history. The focus of this research is about the cultural values inheritance of Cikondang indigenous people particularly among young people who are studying in Madrasah Aliyah Al - Hijrah Cikondang, through history education. The approach that is used in this study is a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The results shows that the cultural values of the Cikondang society can be actualized and internalized in the lessons of history includes: ecological wisdom, respect for history, mutual cooperation culture, education wisdom, and economic wisdom. Teacher has made the community and the surrounding environment as a source of learning, so that students can match what is acceptable in the classroom with the reality on the environment. Internalization appears in the behavior and consciousness of the students toward the cultural of values Cikondang who lived and actualized in everyday life. Thus the inheritance of local wisdoms is very important in learning history so that students will know and understand the noble values contained in the culture. This indicates that school has a great potential as the vehicle for the cultural values inheritance proven by times.

This study aims to describe the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. Cultural value is very important to be studied in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the people of Aceh so that it can be known by the younger generation and re-cultivated in life in the present. The formulation of the problem raised in this study is how the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The data source in this research is Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The selected data is each quotation that has a relation to cultural values ​​in the saga. The approach and method used in this research is a qualitative approach and a descriptive method by describing the facts which are then followed by analysis. The cultural values ​​analyzed in Banta Amat sects are grouped according to five categories, namely (1) cultural values ​​in human relations with God, (2) cultural values ​​in human relations with nature, (3) cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans, (4) cultural values ​​in human relations with society, and (5) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself. The results showed there were 37 quotations related to cultural values ​​that exist in the Banta Amat saga, namely: (1) Cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God there are 6 values ​​in 24 quotes; a) Give thanks to God 3 quotes, b) Give to Allah the Prophet 1 quote, c) Pray and ask God 9 quotes, d) surrender to God 8 quotes, e) Fear God 1 quote, and f) Obey to worship God 2 quotes, (2) Cultural values ​​in human relations with nature are found in 2 quotations about utilizing the forest, (3) Cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotations; a) respect for others 2 quotes, b) say greetings 1 quote, and c) answer greetings 1 quote, (4) Cultural values ​​in human relations with the community there are 3 quotes namely about mutual care, and (5) Cultural values ​​in relationships humans with themselves there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotes; a) Never give up 2 quotes, b) responsibility 1 quote, and c) hard work 1 quote. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God are more numerous than the other values. This illustrates that the people of Aceh are religious and devout people who worship God. Suggestions from researchers that the people of Aceh continue to preserve cultural values ​​such as the Banta Amat saga in daily life. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Nilai budaya sangat penting untuk dikaji guna melestarikan warisan budaya masyarakat Aceh agar dapat diketahui oleh generasi muda dan kembali dibudidayakan dalam kehidupan pada masa sekarang. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II karya T. A. Sakti. Data yang dipilih adalah setiap kutipan yang ada kaitannya dengan nilai budaya dalam hikayat. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskritif dengan mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta yang kemudian disusul dengan analisis. Nilai budaya yang dianalisis dalam hikayat Banta Amat dikelompokkan berdasarkan lima kategori, yaitu (1) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, (2) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam, (3) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, (4) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat, dan (5) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 37 kutipan yang terkait dengan nilai budaya yang ada dalam hikayat Banta Amat, yaitu: (1) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan terdapat 6 nilai pada 24 kutipan; a) Bersyukur kepada Allah 3 kutipan, b) Berselawat kepada Nabi Allah 1 kutipan, c) Berdoa dan memohon kepada Allah 9 kutipan, d) menyerahkan diri kepada Allah 8 kutipan, e) Takut kepada Allah 1 kutipan, dan f) Taat beribadah kepada Allah 2 kutipan, (2) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam terdapat pada 2 kutipan tentang memanfaatkan hutan, (3) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) menghormati orang lain 2 kutipan, b) mengucapkan salam 1 kutipan, dan c) menjawab salam 1 kutipan, (4) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat terdapat 3 kutipan yaitu tentang rasa saling peduli, dan (5) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) Pantang menyerah 2 kutipan, b) tanggung jawab 1 kutipan, dan c) kerja keras 1 kutipan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan lebih banyak dari nilai yang lainnya. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa masyarakat Aceh adalah masyarakat yang religius dan taat beribadah kepada Allah. Saran dari peneliti agar masyarakat Aceh terus melestarikan nilai budaya seperti pada hikayat Banta Amat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Hikayat, Nilai Budaya

ABSTRACT Traditional markets with their special characteristics and cultural values are still cinsidered dirty and unorganized places. This view is also found in Ngentak Traditional Market, Dayu Village, Kab. Blitar. This 50 years old market has many problems include patchy roofs that make the heat of the sun go inside and when it rains, making the market floor muddy, and it makes market feel so dirty. The absence of a zoning system makes buyers confused when shopping, the narrow circulation of space reduces the convenience of activities in the market. The market office on the 2nd (second) floor also has a problem with unstandard staircase, making user feel uncomfortable. The purpose of this redesign is to redesign traditional markets according to the interior design and market building standards, but also applying designs that still retain the characteristics, cultural value of traditional markets and the surrounding environment. The redesign used glass box design method with structured and systematic parameters based on facts. The results is redesign of the Ngentak Market with contemporary themes and local ethnic concepts typical of Blitar Regency that give new designs and arrangements to traditional markets, so that can overcome the problems that exist today to change the outlook on traditional markets to be positive. Key words : Traditional Market, Zoning, Contemporary, Local Ethnic.   ABSTRAK Pasar tradisional dengan ciri khas dan nilai kultural yang ada di dalamnya masih dipandang sebagai tempat yang kotor, kumuh dan tidak tertata. Pandangan tersebut juga dijumpai di Pasar Tradisional Ngentak, Desa Dayu, Kabupaten Blitar. Permasalahan pasar yang sudah berumur lebih dari 50 tahun ini diantaranya terlihat atap tambal sulam dengan bahan seadanya membuat panas terik matahari masuk ke dalam dan saat hujan air bocor menjadikan lantai pasar becek, serta menambah nuansa pasar menjadi kotor dan kumuh. Tidak adanya sistem zonasi pedagang membuat bingung pembeli saat berbelanja, sirkulasi ruang gerak yang sempit mengurangi kenyamanan beraktivitas di dalam pasar. Kantor pasar yang berada di lantai 2 (dua) juga mempunyai permasalahan ruang yaitu akses tangga sempit yang tidak sesuai standar membuat pengguna ruang merasa tidak nyaman. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah meredesain pasar tradisional sesuai standar ilmu desain interior dan standar bangunan pasar, selain itu juga dengan mengaplikasikan desain yang tetap mempertahankan ciri khas, nilai kultural pasar tradisional dan lingkungan sekitar. Metode perancangan yang digunakan yaitu metode desain glass box dengan parameter terstruktur dan sistematis berdasarkan fakta yang ada. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah perancangan redesain Pasar Ngentak dengan tema kontemporer dan konsep etnik lokal khas Kabupaten Blitar yang memberi desain dan tatanan baru pada pasar tradisional, sehingga bisa mengatasi permasalahan ruang yang ada sekaligus mengubah pandangan tentang pasar tradisional menjadi positif. AbstractOne of the results of this study aims to clarify that the teaching of history has a lot of media or flexible in its delivery methods, such as through training Jathilan Art. Jathilan Art is one of the folk art using braid horse property, as well as players reog or lumping horse or horses braid. Art Jathilan Revelation turonggo in Kulon Progo Regency is one of folk art will be full of local values. Learning history through Art Jathilan training to improve local values are expected to provide new ideas in history. This is because history can not be separated from the cultures in a society. Meanwhile, art is one of the results of the culture. Teaching history at this point also raised many of the local values because Indonesia is a country rich in culture. To increase the love of the Indonesian state (nationalism) not only through pembelajarah history, especially the material history of the struggle of the Indonesian nation. How to boost nationalism can be done by increasing the understanding of local values. Local values can be instilled through training Art Jathilan include the values of mutual cooperation, kinship, the values of religious form of gratitude to God Almighty, the values of love for the surrounding environment, the values of self-reliance as using crops activities in the community, and so on. Keywords: Learning history, the traditional art “Jathilan”, local values

Research on the existence of socio-cultural value a'dengkapada in the marriage event Kelara people Jeneponto Regency. This study aims to determine the existence and cultural values a'dengkapada in the marriage. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection is used by observation, in-depth interview, documentation technique from result of photo and archives of local government. The results showed that, the existence of A'dengkap culture in marriage event still survive until now in Kelara society of Jeneponto Regency. The social values contained in the A'dengkapada culture are (1) As a tradition passed down from generation to generation, (2) Gratitude to the creator after the rice harvest and as a plea to be given safety in marriage and appeal (3) Entertainment for families and relatives in the afternoon (4) distant family gatherings (5) containers improve mutual cooperation and togetherness among families and relatives before carrying out the A'dengkapada event.Keywords: Existence, Social Value, Culture, A'dengkapada

AbstractThis study aims to describe, analyze the cultural values of duan lolat based on local wisdom in the Tanimbar community in West Southeast Maluku Regency (MTB). The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data is collected through interviews, observation and literature studies as well as tracking related research results.The results of the study show that duan-lolat cultural values based on local wisdom remain alive and take root in the Tanimbar community as an entity or characteristic of the Tanimbar community, so they can contribute positively to the provision of development in this country. The spirit of mutual cooperation, social solidarity, compassion, independence and consensus in resolving community conflicts which are actually duan-lolat values, starting from being corrected (deconstructed) the meaning exchanged for the low value of duan-lolat, can also be transformed into the wisdom of the Tanimbar community.Keywords: Cultural Value, Duan Lolat and Local WisdomAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan, menganalisis Nilainilai budaya duan lolat berbasis kearifan lokal pada masyarakat Tanimbar di Kabupaten Maluku Tenggara Barat (MTB). Semangat gotong royong, solidaritas sosial, bela rasa, kemandirian dan kemufakatan dalam menyelesaikan konflik masyarakat yang sejatinya merupakan nilainilai duan-lolat muali mengalami pergeseran (dekonstruksi) makna sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya derajat nilai duan-lolat itu sendiri sebagai sebuah kearifan lokal yang dianut oleh masyarakat Tanimbar.Kata Kunci : Nilai Budaya, Duan Lolat dan Kearifan Lokal

­­NILAI BUDAYA  PADA SISTEM USAHATANI  POLA ‘DUSUN’ SUKU KANUM  DI KAMPUNG YANGGANDUR KABUPATEN MERAUKE    The Cultural Values on  ‘Dusun’ Pattern Farming System of The “Kanum” Tribe in Yanggandur Village Merauke Regency                    Puji Susanty*, Yunus Musa, Rahmadanih, Sitti Bulkis                                *Politeknik Pertanian Yasanto, Merauke                                   (email: [email protected]) Abstract“Dusun” is a specific area of the traditional land in Kanum Tribe, which been chosen as place for farmer to cultivated as rural areas for families or in Kanum Tribes Group  Society that been inherite from generation to generation.  This research aimed to describe the cultural values in managing the farming system of “dusun” pattern carried out  by indigenous community of Kanum Tribe. The research was conducted in Yanggandur Village, Merauke Regency.  Qualitative approach and  snowball sampling method were applied  to collect the data through interviews from  informants. In order to analyze the data it applied data reduction techniques, presentation and  conclusion as well as verification. From the research, it was indicated that the prime food crop that cultivated by Kanum Tribe in the “dusun” are ‘kumbili’.  The  Kanum Tribe still actively managed the farming system of “dusun” pattern because the “kumbili” farming system contained the cultural values which they had inherited from generation to generation. The cultural values contained in “kumbili” cultivation were the safety and religious value, the wisdom and  mutual cooperation value, and the responsibility value.Keywords: cultural value; “dusun” pattern farming; Kanum Tribe.

The life of Indigenous people has an interesting social situation and religiosity to study. This paper aims to examine: (1) Religiosity (2) Religious patterns, (2) Conservation of religious values of Cireundu traditional village communities. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods about local religious struggles, namely Sunda Wiwitan with the influence of the surrounding environment, in the perspective of sociology it focuses more on religious phenomena that occur between modernization and adherents of local religions. Data collection is done through: (a) Participatory observation (participant observation), (b) In-depth interviews. (c) Documentation. Religion as "mode is for reality" provides a "framework" for seeing reality, religion provides "system of meaning" for its socially produced followers. The Cireundeu indigenous people tend to make "religion" as "the ultimate concern". They make religion a fundamental philosophy in their lives. Almost all activities in their lives are based on religious values.

Taro Village is one of the villages located in Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. This village has various kinds of potential, especially natural potential that can be used as a tourist destination. In addition, the surrounding environment is quite calm making this village as one of the tourist destinations based on ecological, community custom and cultural values so it can make Taro Village has the potential to be developed into an eco-spiritual destination. The research aims to identify the potentials and weaknesses that exist in Taro Village, as well as the opportunities and external obstacles faced by Taro Village. The method used in this research is qualitative approach by using a SWOT analysis. The results show that Taro Village can be developed into an eco-spiritual tourist by maximizing the strategy according to its potential and minimizing the weaknesses in Taro Village.

Literature is an expression of feeling and of thought written by contextual value of a language. It refers to the concept of oral or folk literature which includes the literature expression of society’s culture passed on upon descend and through spoken word. The legend of Tan Tik Siu cave is one of oral literature originated from Tulungagung which grew and expanded in Sumberagung village Rejotangan subdistrict. The originality and cultural value of the phenomenon are feasible to investigate due to its uniqueness. There is a cycle when the society should and should not do some rituals in the cave. Thus, they should not do the ritual every day. It is believed that there will be a danger for Sumberagung villagers whenever they break the conviction. The problem of the study focused on how are the cultural values and its functions for the society. A descriptive qualitative approach is employed through observation, interview, audio-recording and note-taking. The analysis of cultural value suggested four kinds of cultural values including: (1) magic value, especially the society’s belief on pesugihan /a particular magic, (2) behavior value applied to the surrounding society, and (3) religious value. The result function analysis found four kinds of functions which cover: (1) projection system as a one’s thoughts on the future doing, (2) validation instrument of cultural research organization (3) education instrument (4) entertainment instrument

West Java is the centre of Indonesian rice production, which contributes 16 per cent of the national rice production. However, these advantages have not contributed to the growing awareness of the younger generation to preserve the rice planting culture. On the basis of these problems, the purpose of this study is to explain how the cultural value of rice planting with the tourist attraction of the Cikondang Traditional Village community. The research method used is a qualitative method, through in-depth interviews and groups, with data reduction analysis and data presentation. The results showed that the rice planting procession was loaded with cultural values and had a tourist attraction. This value is reflected in the value of human nature, the nature of human relations with the surrounding environment, the essence of human position in space and time, the essence of human relations with work and charity and the nature of human relations with other humans. Meanwhile, the attraction of the tour is reflected in the uniqueness, attractiveness, rarity, authenticity, cleanliness and safety
